AN: I don't own Naruto/Star Wars: Legends
GRS 4:10:15
The clash of lightsaber and blaster bolt was easy to pick up. Naruto's cackling and Anakin's grunts of exertion were also easy to pick up. Everyone who'd walked into the room thus far had quickly found somewhere else to be, thus far.
The set up was perhaps far more convoluted then it needed to be. Both of them were facing off against each other, blindfolded, surrounded by multiple training droids. Anakin was struggling to keep up with some of Naruto's actions that brought the hum of his training lightsaber near to his face, only to whip off to the side and block a blaster bolt while Anakin would lunge for Naruto, only to get shot for not paying attention to the droids. Their saber dance was clearly less about making contact with each other, so much as getting as close as they could to the other, then being able to react to events that were happening behind, or to the sides, which could be lethal in real life, if one were too focused.
Initially a few of the other initiates had been distant and jabbing at Anakin for having a master early, or had begun leaving him alone. The first time he'd returned to the training rooms with them and they'd seen and heard what had happened, they'd begun to soften. Not by much, as most still were waiting and hoping for their own masters, but he got sympathy towards the sudden onslaught of training he'd received.
Thankfully, it wasn't going to be all that, all the time. Naruto had made it clear that being a Jedi wasn't all about combat, fighting, and so forth. It was about being a keeper of the peace, and thus would have Anakin studying whatever Anakin wanted. At first Anakin thought it was a joke, thinking Naruto wanted him to look into things like laws, and disturbances or such. When Naruto had explained that he wanted him to actually look into things he enjoyed, he found himself drawn towards robotics, mechanics, and glancing through politics - just to make sure Naruto didn't reveal it all to have been a ruse of some sort. He was find that, the more he looked into it though, the more fun he was having just, reading.
It beat getting shot in the leg seven times before Naruto called it quits.
Anakin moved sloppily, the various forms of danger around him a constant distraction. That's what they were meant to be, but for him, with only six months of training under his belt, it stood out as being perhaps more difficult than he'd expected. A more advanced form of training. Something he otherwise might have been eager for before Naruto had come back, but was not idly more excited for when he would go and learn again with the initiates. It would give him time to build up more skill to this point, and less time getting shot when he was lunging towards Naruto.
Spinning on his heel, Naruto clashed with Anakin's lightsaber and shoved it to the side, using it to deflect two different blaster bolts, then stepped back. Deactivating his lightsaber, he nodded and idly turned off the droids. "Alright, that's good for now."
Anakin deactivated his, gasping as he removed his helmet, a thin sheen of sweat over his forehead. It was a lot, trying to keep up with the droids and Naruto, and worked up an exhaustion he hadn't felt in his training thus far. "Yes Master. Er, yes sensei."
Naruto tousled his hair, grinning as he stretched his arms. His other arm was still in recovery so far as he'd been told, and wasn't to overexert it, which was fine by him. Most said it was remarkable that he was healing so quickly, to which Naruto didn't comment. They didn't need to know the various steps he'd learnt on how to heal himself faster, and idly thanked Kurama for his little contributions as well.
"You're welcome brat. Next time, just don't die like that. I can't save you from everything."
Wincing, he rolled his wrist and laughed. Anakin gave him a look, then shrugged at his motions; just some wrist pain, he supposed. Staring up at Naruto, he shifted about, trying to find words before deciding to just blurt them out. "Uh... can I go and meet up with my friends? I know we just did saber training but... we've got some stuff we're trying out, and I want to be there."
"Hm?" Naruto flexed his hand, blinking as he glanced to Anakin with a slow grin. "Heh, yeah, go ahead. I'm not going to keep you here."
Anakin brightened, moving quickly to the door. After the fights against Naruto had brought those who'd done so together, surprisingly, and had made them all eagerly begin training with each other. He'd even found out the Mon Calamari initiate was named Nahdar Vebb; a young man who was now looking more into the different fighting styles to see if any of them would help him know how Naruto had become so good at his own fighting style. It was nice to see that a few were more curious about Niman, with Cin Drallig's mention of it after he'd defeated them, though when some had learnt that it required learning a little of each style, they'd gone back to simply focusing on one style. Expected, but the interest still burnt in them, and that was what Naruto was happy about.
As Anakin opened the door, he almost ran into a person waiting on the other side of the door, jumping back just as the person there gave him a glance. Bowing quickly, Anakin stepped to the side. "Master Jmmaar."
"Young Skywalker."
Once Jmmaar moved into the room, Anakin scurried out of the room to meet up with his friends. As he did, he did take a glance back at the Viraanntesse Jedi Master, a nervous look on him as he did so. He'd heard little bits and pieces of what had happened with Jmmaar after the Huk War, and had heard from Naruto himself what had happened. He could only imagine what was going to happen with the two now that they were alone.
Naruto for his part simply turned around and replaced his helmet off to the side. For a moment he seemed to be ignoring Jmmaar, setting everything just so back where it belonged. As he finished with what he was doing, he slowed down, not looking back to Jmmaar as he spoke. "So... you're here."
"I am." Jmmaar said, moving into the room and finding a place that was a more seated position for himself. "As you requested."
Nodding, Naruto made his way over, seating himself across from Jmmaar, breathing slowly as he rubbed his hands together. Slowly looking up to Jmmaar, his lips quirked slightly, reminiscent of an apologetic smile. "Yeah. I... so, um... this isn't exactly how I thought I'd start this..."
"You are going to apologize for Abbaji?"
"Hm? Ah, no. Absolutely not." Naruto shook his head, seeming to springboard far quicker off that topic. "The Kalee would have seen the Republic and the Jedi as far worse if I hadn't done what I'd done. I'm not saying what I did was right, or that it was the best choice, but I had been trying to negotiate peace with the Yam'rii, and they made it clear they weren't listening."
"And then you additionally attempted to fight me." Jmmaar pointed out, crossing his arms and tapping fingers against his arms. "You feel no shame for that?"
"None whatsoever."
"... why is that?"
"You were moving your way into a position brazenly, with no idea of the people, or their ways. I knew only what I'd been taught, but I'd learnt their language in the first four months, could communicate and was taught enough of their culture to be considered a part of them. I had defeated Qymaen, their leader, and was their leader. You were a usurper, and made yourself... kinda a villain."
Jmmaar hummed at that, not saying anything for the moment, just listening. "And what of Master D'oon? Do you think the same of him?"
"Absolutely."
"Then why call me out only myself on the fight?"
Naruto paused, considering his next words. When it had all happened, he'd been able to get into the fight, and get out without a scratch. It could have gone so much worse had he made different choices, and it was difficult to recall each piece that had happened up to that point. What he did remember though, was still important. "You were the leader between yourself and Master D'oon on that mission, and you were willing to bow out when I defeated you. If it had been Master D'oon, I worried that he'd try to rematch me before I could try to end the war, and if he won, the Kalee would have been in a far worse position."
"You say that, though they were the aggressors."
"They were the victims, and they became aggressors because the Yam'rii enslaved them and took their land."
"So you say."
Slowly squinting at Jmmaar, Naruto opened his mouth to speak, then paused. Jmmaar was watching him, waiting. He seemed to have something on his own mind he was trying to get out, and it left Naruto making vague gurgling sounds of frustration. Slowly shaking his head, Naruto rubbed his forehead slowly. "... did you even look around after the war ended? Or before, for that matter?"
"Yes."
"Then why are you asking these things again?"
"To see you, as you are."
Holding back a groan, Naruto understood. Jmmaar was testing him, taunting him and seeing if Naruto would fall prey to his frustrations at Jmmaar's seeming ignorance. It seemed he wasn't nearly as much as he made himself out to be, but that in turn was more frustrating. Testing him, after all they'd been through, felt like an insult. Insulting what they'd been through, and not understanding the reasoning behind Naruto's actions when he'd made it as clear as he could.
"I am always as I am." Naruto shook his head, exhaling and grumbling softly. "I don't hide my intentions or who I am in shadows."
"That makes your anger all the more apparent."
"Frustration, anger... it passes by, and I let it go. But I can get frustrated by ignorance." Naruto held up a hand and shook his finger, letting Jmmaar see his frustration. "You are talking to me like you know nothing, and that we didn't already discuss this. Like I'm not going to think I made the best choices I could at the time. Was it the right choice? I don't know. Was it the best choice with what I knew? Yes."
"You do not know enough."
"Really?" Naruto crossed his arms, snorting softly. "I couldn't tell. You can tell me lots of things I don't know, I can kinda guess as much. You probably have a list of things you've readied in case I tried to call that out. Obscure things, or stuff like that. Things I won't know. Obviously. I'm not playing that game."
"You wanted to talk to me. This is the discussion we're having."
"Don't try this on me Jmmaar." Naruto frowned, his lip twitching as he tried not to growl. "I'm not doing this to let you have catharsis. I'm doing it so we can clear the air. If you don't want to clear the air between us, then I can leave."
"Clear the air?" Jmmaar sounded almost amused, shifting in place as he stared down at Naruto. "Saying that implies some tension between us."
"You think I'm not ready to be a Jedi Knight, you questioned my decisions on Abbaji, and honestly I just don't think you like me."
"I don't approve of your choices, true. That doesn't mean I don't like you."
"You can respect me without liking me."
Jmmaar hummed, taking that in as though in thought. "True... but I find your zeal cathartic."
"... huh?"
Shifting and tapping his arms gently, he slowly motioned towards them slowly. "Many other Jedi I've spoken with have given much the same thoughts as each other, but all seem to have different ideas of how they might have attempted to handle it. Few agree on your method, Master Sifo-Dyas and Master Dooku being two that think you made choices wisely, if hastily. But, each other disagrees with it... and I have found that they all have the same critique. That you harmed the reputation of both the Yam'rii, and those who are similar in appearance to them. Reptilians, crustacean, and insectoid species alike have come under fire for having even vague features of the Yam'rii... what do you say to this?"
"That the Republic is really filled with far foolish and confused individuals than I thought."
Not quite what was expected, Jmmaar motioned for Naruto to continue. "... go on."
"When I made the choice to show the Republic what they were supporting with the Yam'rii, I expected them to be wise enough to not associate them with others. They aren't everyone, and not every Yam'rii will match up with it, as they just followed their orders from higher ups. People follow authority, and are... not always the smartest. But when I sent it out, I hoped that we've taught them well enough. That they'd have learnt enough from the years, and years, and years of the galaxy moving round and round... and then I find there are still people who can't stop thickening their minds against understanding."
The answer seemed to not be what Jmmaar was expecting either, and he needed a moment to process it. One could speak with various people of his age who'd gone to the various colleges and get a similar enough response, but hearing it was still something he had only thought about. Thinking that he'd say something to that extent hadn't been what he'd thought; he thought Naruto would defend his position simply as being what he thought was best, and that no one could judge him for it. Hearing that he'd had faith in the Republic, and that the Republic itself had failed him - that it was failing him - wasn't what he'd thought or expected.
That did not make what he'd done better, yet Naruto hadn't fully defended himself, conventionally. What he'd done was explain a valid, if troubling, thought of his faith in the Republic. A faith Jmmaar shared. A faith that both of them had seen people completely ignore, and completely go contrary to the expectations they might have had.
"Troubling..."
"Yeah, no kidding." Naruto seemed to calm at that, the one word of agreement suddenly seeming to pull the tension from him like a piece of machinery moved into place. Something clicked, and suddenly there was a calm between them. "I've been trying to figure out how to get people to no longer... to get their heads together and..."
"Yes, of course." Jmmaar nodded, seeing the earnest, and concerned expression on Naruto's face. "You've caused much trouble... and, you seem to recognize it."
"Kind of hard to ignore it." Naruto muttered, rubbing the back of his neck and grumbling.
"True. But, things like this won't be easy to fix." Jmmaar noted, tapping one of his legs idly.
"No, I don't expect it as such." Naruto scratched as his neck, grumbling and shaking his head. "People are... stubborn. Obstinate. They get thoughts stuck in their head and..."
"Yes, you are correct. Much like you at times."
"Much like all the Jedi." Naruto considered that, seeming to shift into a more meditative position as he thought over that. "No one seems safe from it."
"No. It is a folly of existence that we must overcome."
"Mm," Naruto scratched at his leg, groaning and grumbling to himself.
Jmmaar considered him again, seeming to weight the short, small conversation they were having. He'd come in here expecting to think less of Naruto, for him to show him frustration, anger, and even snippets of the dark side. Instead, while he'd seen the first two, he found himself idly agreeing with Naruto's assessment and reasoning for it. Additionally, the frustration wasn't with the situation, but with the seeming ignorance of Jmmaar. Something completely within his own control, and something he'd been intentionally being frustrating for Naruto to deal with. Now he felt as though that were unnecessary.
"Perhaps, I judged you too harshly." Jmmaar said after a moment, giving Naruto a faintly approving nod. "You are not a perfect Jedi... but you are certainly making a case for yourself of your worth as a Jedi Knight."
Naruto perked up, then beamed at that. It was small, and didn't weigh much in a grand scheme, but it did mean sometime. Perhaps more than Master Jmmaar knew, or understood.
"I will speak to you at some point later." Master Jmmaar stood slowly, bowing to him and humming softly. "... may the Force be with you, Uzumaki."
"And, with you, Master Jmmaar."
Walking out of the room, Jmmaar sighed, glancing back as Naruto assumed a more meditative stance. Naruto was a strange, unknown variable in the Jedi Order. A strange anomaly. Not unwelcome, but strange all the same. Perhaps, he too should meditate on this. He'd been left with too much to think on, and he needed to take the time to consider it before acting further. Yes, much to think on.
[=x-=]
Sifo-Dyas walked slowly through the halls of the temple, his eyes staring past those he walked by, distant and thoughtful. Some people spoke to him around him, and he would nod and acknowledge them, but his focus was distant. His mind was still plagued, and still deep in consideration. What he'd been hearing was difficult to take in, and to consider.
There were a number of Jedi who'd come from Pelgrin were disappearing. At first it wasn't particularly notable, one or two who'd been sent away. Then, it had been a few more who were missing, Jedi Knights, and Masters, who were not known for going out, or away from the Jedi Temple. They were researchers, people who didn't wish to leave unless there was something incredibly important to research.
Sent away. What a terrible way to describe it. They weren't going on missions, or to research, or to otherwise find anything important. They were being sent 'away'. Away. There was only one thing that made sense to him, one place. A place he'd found only through researching, and delving into things that the Jedi had hidden away. The Jedi had hidden it, something that had made him remarkably uneasy.
The Citadel. It was a place where they held Dark Jedi, predominantly, so far as he knew. But the fact that the Jedi researchers were being sent there screamed at him like a resonant warning in the Force.
Dragging a hand down his face, he slowly exhaled and closed his eyes slowly. Idly, he had been worried about them, particularly when Master Arroway had come to him to ask about some of those who'd gone missing. Master Elymas had been surprisingly silent, keeping his head down and keeping himself in places varying from out of sight to completely within the public eye, with very little in between. Those two seemed to be the only two he could find now, and it was scary how quickly the others had vanished.
So many of them had discussed their visions. Visions of darkness, of war, and despite warnings, they had continued and were now gone. He'd seen them as well, and had heard about the armies that would be needed, that would rise up, and the destruction. So much destruction.
The Jedi. The Republic. Buildings and worlds ablaze, and destroyed, and a shadow across it all.
Yet, there was something more. One shrouded in an ever-shifting cloak that raced into the darkness, throwing themselves around and cutting through it. When the light of the Jedi tried to fill the void left by their coming, much of the light became part of the cloak, shifting and pulled deeper within it. A maelstrom, a storm, whirling and carving through as both light and dark seemed to scream and thrash, cutting into the cloak, only to be battered as even the tatters of the cloak moving through them disturbed and disrupted them.
Not a being, but a thing. A group, or something. Something else. People moved within it, more than one, and each of them stood with an aura that Sifo-Dyas couldn't describe. It was such a whir, and a spectrum of change that he couldn't focus on any one point within.
As he'd stared into it, the shadows seemed to fall again, and fire filled the sky. Two people stood in front of a burning Temple, with people falling upon them and at their feet as they were battered back. Whether they were there for the helping, the detriment, or otherwise, Sifo-Dyas couldn't say.
And the reason for his searching, for his looking into the Citadel, came back to his mind. The prison-like tower, standing tall, shrouded in shadows. Darkness seeped from it, undulating and writhing. Were he to listen, he swore he could hear the screams from the Force itself alongside other people. It was a place of danger, and of shadow, that left any who saw it uncomfortable and worried. Only, there was then something that slammed into it, an new scream, and the walls of the Citadel screamed against it and lost, crumbling before his eyes, with the Jedi Temple appearing in its place, cracks rising from the base upwards.
He'd told only one other person about his vision. The only person he felt he could trust. Dooku. Even after all that had happened, he still felt he could trust his friend. Even after having been kicked off the council for having ideas that were not conducive to the Orders ideals, as they'd apparently seen it. Now, outcast from those who had once thought of things as equally as he had, now only saw him as a radical. Softly, not to the point of removing him from the Order, but enough that he no longer sat on the council.
Seeing a few people moving about, he paused and smiled lightly as he approached with one of the few people who could bring a smile to his face. "Yasuo."
"Sifo-Dyas." Yasuo bowed to him, a faint smile to his face as he greeted his master. Former, master. He was after all a Jedi knight now. "It is good to see you master. I've been looking for you all day."
"Oh? Then walk with me." Sifo-Dyas nodded, smiling as he continued walking. Yasuo moved quickly in step with him, smiling and shaking his head as he did so. Sifo-Dyas was one for being in motion, letting them continue making their way through the Temple without losing pace on their conversation either. "What is it that you have for me today?'
"I've been looking to some things," Yasuo muttered, rubbing his neck and shaking his head. "There's, something I've been looking into. Rumors of a man with abilities to wreathe people in fire, seemingly without any form or sort of devices. Well, two, but in different sectors, and the Council wants me to look into only one of them for now."
"Already leaping straight into the heart of it?" Sifo-Dyas nodded, humming to himself. "Do you think it's one of the Shapers of Kro Var?"
"No, I... well," Yasuo frowned, scratching at his neck. "It could be. There is one who was calling themselves The Branded, but that person was supposedly showing more fire than other abilities. This, person, seemed to have taken to burning corpses that had severe head trauma. The Branded was just setting people on fire, and is a different system altogether."
"Not a great thing." Sifo-Dyas frowned, considering what that meant. Two people who were exhibiting fire-based abilities, across the galaxy, at the same time. Not good. "What of the other one?"
"The other is purportedly from a thing. Not a weapon, a... thing." Yasuo scowled, seeming quite upset by the lack of knowledge. "Reports say nothing about anything regarding it. Only that they're looking for something. Or, someone, it was unclear."
"That's helpful at least. Anything about what it was?"
Yasuo took a moment, frowning and shaking his head before slowly exhaling and staring forward. "The reports called it an artifact of someone... something cage. Or Cageous, but that might've been a typo."
"... Cageous? I've heard nothing about anything or anyone by that name."
"Me either. I imagine that when I begin looking into them I'll hear more, but it's somewhere in the Bryx sector."
"Bryx? Shouldn't be too difficult-"
"Nearest sighting was near the Anzat system."
Sifo-Dyas paused, turning and placing a hand on Yasuo's shoulder lightly. For a brief moment, something seemed to superimpose itself over Yasuo's face, and he froze, only for it to vanish when Yasuo looked at him. It was strange, like a burnt faced smile. The sudden shift had Sifo-Dyas frozen for a moment, the image sending a chill down his spine.
"... master?"
"... be careful. Please." Sifo-Dyas gently pat his shoulder, a thoughtful expression on his face. "The Anzati are not the sort of people we deal with often, and... they are dangerous. unpredictable."
"I'm aware. I, don't believe that it should be that difficult to avoid them, unless there's a spacer that turns out to be one aboard one of the ships. Thankfully none of the sightings are on Anzat itself, thank the Force." Yasuo laughed, keeping a faint lightheartedness. Slowly though, it dialed back and he stared off into nothing. "... I worry, some days master. After all we've done, and all we've been through... I've noticed things. Things I can't speak of to others."
Sifo-Dyas breath caught, eyes on his former apprentice as he tried to think of words to help describe it with him. "Like, shadows, just outside of our vision, or around corners that aren't there when we approach?"
"... yes." Yasuo nodded slowly, looking concerned. "I've had them a few times in our travels, but... there's been, other things too. I thought it was just an effect from destroying or placing some of the items we've come across. I've meditated, and Master Yoda has spoken to me of focusing on the now, and not... elsewhere. Which is not what you've taught me."
"No. No it is not." Placing a hand on Yasuo's shoulder, he dropped his voice to a whisper. "And it is something that we do not speak of with voices that all can hear. As Master Yoda shows, we are... not safe to watch out for the future. Not anymore. Not now."
"But he's also told us to be mindful of the future."
"Not at the expense of the moment. Remember that. The future is ever changing, but Force speaks to us despite that, to give warning and to try and get our attention. If we do not head those warnings, and meditate on how we can act now to avoid calamity, we can shape a better future."
"... yes master." Yasuo looked mildly troubled, but rolled his shoulders back and tried to stand tall. "This, will be my first assignment as a Jedi Knight. At least, my first solo mission. All the others have had someone else there, holding my hand. I'm a bit nervous."
Placing a hand on his shoulder, Sifo-Dyas nodded slowly. "I know. I was too, when I first struck out on my own. Perhaps it's for the best that you spoke with me. So I could give you one last bit of advice before you set out." Smiling, he gave Yasuo a side hug. "You are ready. Whether you believe, or know it, I have seen it. You've overcome temptations before from the temptations of knowledge have shown no sway over you. I trust you to find yourself focused, and applying the wisdom I've taught you, and I know that you will make good use of it. For the betterment of yourself, and those you protect. Who knows, maybe one day you'll find someone like me, or yourself, who you'll teach."
"I doubt that." Yasuo laughed, shaking his head. "I imagine myself more of the lone wanderer, with the wind at my back, and the stars before me."
"Then take that wind for now... but don't be against someone walking with you from time to time."
"Ha! Yes, of course. Alright master." Yasuo pat Sifo-Dyas shoulder, nodding and smiling. "I won't forget... I promise."
"Like how you forgot your travel bags? And your cloak? And-"
"Yes, I get it, I have been known to... misplace things." Yasuo laughed, his boisterous nature returning in full force. "And yet I never forgot my flute, or my lightsaber. How strange, to think that despite everything, I have never once forgot either of those things, but I've once lost my shoes!"
Both of them laughed and pat each others shoulders. It was a moment of solace, and quiet amid the chaos of the galaxy. Giving each other fond farewells, they parted, with each going their own way. Yasuo made his way to catch a ship to the Bryx system. Sifo-Dyas made his way towards his room, entering it without trouble, or worry. As he stepped in, a feeling fell on his shoulders. A moment of silence, and slowly he turned to face his room.
In his visions, especially of late, he'd seen a group from within the Temple walking out. Those with glowing eyes, holding out their hands to him. Each one had a looming chain, and flickers of shadows to their cloaked forms. They were dangerous, but as he had seen them, he'd seen their hand reaching out to try to set a sinking form of what he only assumed was the Republic, trying to keep it from collapsing. And to keep himself from a fate of fire, and destruction.
There, sitting on his bed, cloaked so he couldn't see their face, and holding in their hands a lightsaber. As it was turned over in their hands, they slowly put it away, giving only the bone white coloration of the top half as they shifted and looking up at Sifo-Dyas. While he couldn't fully see their face, he could barely feel their presence in the Force; not a good sign. A twinge of fear crept up his spine, as he let a shiver run through him as they faced each other.
"Good day, Master Sifo-Dyas. I've been looking forward to talking to you for some time... please, have a seat."
[=-x-=]
Senator Sano stared at the message. The timing wasn't bad, or confusing, it simply didn't make sense to him. He was a man of timing, and of patience, and this felt like they were going to rush things. Surely he was. But, at the same time, how could he argue it.
Send it.
Thinking about it, the senator sighed. It would take some time for it begin circulating, and to get it seen and known by people. New information about the Huk War was good, but that didn't mean they'd have a chance to see what it was until it got enough attention to be known. Yes, maybe he was just overthinking it.
But, was that a thing the of the Jedi's Force religion? Trying to guess things, and predict them like they knew the future? He knew enough of Jedi to know they tried to be sagely, to be wise, but he knew better. They were people, and they were capable of fault, and mistakes.
Still, this didn't have to be a thing of worry, or danger. It was just a matter of timing, and getting the information to simmer. Throwing in what was needed to cause the Jedi to burst and burn, that would be given its time soon enough, he imagined. Such a small thing. But as he flicked the datapad, and send it onto the holonet, he slowly smiled. Yes. A small thing.
But something as damning as this could change everything.
AN: Ah, finally, some gentle possibilities of closure. Master Jmmaar and Naruto having a civil conversation, and everything! What a time to be alive.
Don't bother looking up the Branded or Cageous, they're my creations. Things to look forward to in Part 3, as I want to bring in my own creations to stir up the galaxy. Things that could've happened, and "could've died out easily", but because Naruto has had things shifting about so much more, I can start letting even bits of Legends be pushed aside for my own work, storylines, and so forth, to shine through.
Q&A Time!
Vizard890: Since everything has and is changing will we see different lightsabers coming to play? Like a light whip? Or maybe tonfa?
In the future it is absolutely possible. There's going to be a lot of things where they can - and will have to - learn to adapt, and try things a different way. And those could end up with some interesting potential.
WarBerserk: Do you think we can get some crack chapters or omakes with Naruto, Anakin, and the younglings? Be it him teaching or leading them on more field trips? Or young Naruto's high jinks in the Temple or his antics with that are not an astromech?
That, honestly would be what I'd like to do, but with this particular arc, not one that I'll be doing much of. Maybe during Part 3, I'll have it pop up as memories of when he was training them and such, but for this arc, I'm going to try and keep focused on what's happening currently - otherwise I'll end up losing myself just a tad bit, from the mood I'm setting up.
Blaze501st: will Ferus still be an arrogant asshole towards Anakin? When will the dirt on Naruto be released. and finally, a Non spoiler question. do you think it would be possible for Naruto to get a Gift from Jango in the form of a Slug pistol or rifle that fires Beskar Bullets? and a Beskar Chest Plate?
Ferus will have some of that going on. He was always top of his class, and had very little put before him that he couldn't learn. Anakin was his only real "challenge", and even then they butt heads. Thankfully, I'm going to work on how I can alter bits of that... bit by bit at least.
Soon. Soon~! It is already begun~
It could be possible. If it will, might be later on. Not beskar bullets - like, if you have beskar, why use it on bullets when armor will be forever better? At least, that's how I view it.
batmanuchiha: why do i feel like something is gonna cause inner conflict with naruto kinda like yami naruto?
Search your feelings Batman, reach deep and you will see~
Im Not a Hoe: will you be referencing darth nihilius, the wound in the force?
One of the biggest bad guys of Star Wars KOTOR II? It will tame time but how can I not at the very least reference him?! Also glad you caught up friend, it's been a hell of a journey ain't it?
