July 26

This afternoon, Sango and I were getting ready for the double date. We thought it would be especially fun to get ready together so we kicked our husbands out and were at my house in my room getting dressed.

"Would you mind tying this up for me?" The kimono I was wearing was gold with a red tie. She came over and tied it into a bow for me.

"I love this color," she said as she tied it up. Hers was pink and purple. She then sat in front of the mirror and started to brush matching eyeshadow over her eyes. Meanwhile, I glanced over her shoulders as I brushed my hair.

"This is going to be fun," I said happily.

"I can't believe we never thought to do this before," she agreed.

I started to pin my hair up in a low bun with a red and orange flower clip. "There's a first time for everything, I guess."

Sango then tied her hair back into a low ponytail with a pink ribbon. "Do you think Miroku will like this?"

"Miroku would like you in anything. Or nothing."

Sango laughed. "That part comes later tonight."

"I think I'm ready," I said as I modeled my outfit.

"Inuyasha is going to love yours too," Sango said with a nod of approval.

We left the room and found our husbands sitting at the kitchen table waiting for us. Inuyasha looked impatient as always.

"We're ready!" I said.

"It's about time," Inuyasha said as he and Miroku came over to us.

"You ladies look stunning," Miroku said as he pulled Sango in for a kiss. He also started rubbing her butt to which she started blushing.

"Miroku!" She pulled his hand away. "At least wait until we're alone."

"You just have no self-control," Inuyasha said while I laughed.

"What can I say? My woman is gorgeous," Miroku said, making Sango blush anymore.

Inuyasha turned to me and kissed me. "You're so beautiful, honey."

I kissed him back. "Thank you, love."

"Ready to go?" Miroku said.

We headed out and started to make our way to our restaurant, chatting along the way. When we were about halfway there, Sango and I started talking about this cute dance that Rin showed us yesterday.

"Let's show them," I said.

So me and Sango stepped in front of them and showed them the dance laughing all along at how cute it was.

Then something strange happened. In the blink of an eye, Sango and I were both grabbed by something and were carried away.

"Get back here you asshole!" Inuyasha shouted as he and Miroku started chasing after us.

Whatever had grabbed us was big and definitely not human as I sensed a demonic aura around it. The demon had thrown both of us over his shoulder and was running fast all the while laughing maniacally.

"What are you doing?!" I exclaimed, kicking and hitting the demons back.

"You'd better put us down if you know what's good for you!" Sango was doing the same trying to break free.

"Ooh, feisty women! I like that. You two will make perfect brides."

Sango and I exchanged a horrified look. This demon was trying to marry us?! The thought made us fight harder but he was too strong and there was no way to break free.

We were taken to this run-down shack and were thrown onto the floor but this hideous bear demon was looking at us with hearts in his eyes. "You two are the most beautiful women I've ever seen in my life. I've been searching the land high and low for a pretty girl to marry. I can't choose between the two of you so you'll both be my wives."

Sango and I exchanged a disgusted look.

"You've got to be kidding me," she said rolling her eyes.

"You know our husbands are coming, right? You'd better let us go or they'll take off your head," I said.

The demon laughed. "Those two are no match for me. No one is going to take away my lovely brides. I'll kill them before they even get close. Now, let's get you all ready for the wedding."

He went across the room to get some things. Sango and I were already formulating a plan. She pointed to some ropes across the room and I understood that she meant we should tie him up. Very quietly, we crept over there. She grabbed a wooden chair and tip-toed up to the demon then hit him over the head with it making him fall to the ground in pain.

"Ahh! You bitch!" He made a grab for her but Sango was quick. With her expert combat skills, she punched and kicked the demon and threw him back into a wall.

He was disoriented but he was just able to grab a knife off the table and lunged at Sango with it. That's when I stepped in with my spiritual powers. I didn't have any arrows in me but I could still shoot a purification spell from my hands, causing the demon to be horribly burned.

Again he staggered backward and Sango took the opportunity to knock him down and we got to work tying his hands and feet together.

We high fived once we were done and prepared to go find Inuyasha and Miroku until the wall of the shack was blown open. Our husbands appeared with their weapons drawn prepared to fight to free us.

"Alright you damn demon, let them go…!" Inuyasha's voice trailed off and he and Miroku looked surprised to find that we were perfectly fine and the demon was tied up.

"So you've already taken care of it?" Miroku said, lowering his staff.

"Of course," Sango replied.

"It wasn't a big deal," I added.

"We should have known," Inuyasha said as he put his sword away. "At least you're safe."

"But now that we've had that little distraction, we're probably going to miss our reservation," Miroku pointed out.

"Not exactly," Inuyasha said. "Came here, baby," he said to me. I got onto his back and he ran off at top speed. "Meet us there!" he called to Miroku and Sango.

Inuyasha was running so fast that my eyes were watering. "Do you think we'll make it?"

"Definitely!"

It took us only a matter of minutes to get to the restaurant. Once there he put me down and went inside.

"We have a reservation for four," Inuyasha said to the person at the front desk.

"Where are the other two?" the man asked.

"They're running a little behind." There was a playful smirk on his face and it made me laugh a bit. Running a little behind was certainly an understatement.

"Well, you're just in time to make your reservation. Follow me."

We were taken to our table and were given menus. Fifteen minutes later, Sango and Miroku arrived.

"Hey, slowpokes," Inuyasha teased as they came over to us. It made me laugh again.

"Very funny," Miroku said as they sat across from us. "Not all of us are blessed with super speed."

"We saved our reservation though so it's good for something," I pointed out.

Inuyasha looked over my shoulder at my menu. "What are you getting?"

"Hmm, I don't know yet but I'm starving," I replied.

He kissed my lips. "Get whatever you want, love."

My husband is so sweet that I couldn't help but kiss him back. Then Miroku and Sango laughed a bit.

"What?" Inuyasha said, annoyed.

"And you say I have no self-control," Miroku replied.

"It's those pregnancy hormones, Miroku," Sango said, still giggling a bit.

I felt myself blushing a bit. My pregnancy hormones had definitely been running wild.

Inuyasha was blushing as well. "You two are annoying."

We had a delicious dinner and after that made our way to the amphitheater for the concert. The band was setting up on the stage and people were filing into the seats. We managed to find really good seats near the front.

"Hey look, they're serving drinks," Miroku said pointing to the other side of the theater.

"Do you want us to get you some?" Inuyasha asked.

"Of course, thank you," I said.

Just as they went off, two girls settled into the seats in front of us. I noticed them looking after Inuyasha and Miroku and then they turned to us.

"That monk sure is hot, isn't he?" one of the girls giggled. "The things I would do to him, don't you agree?"

The fire flashed in Sango's eyes. "Excuse me?"

"The half-demon is handsome too," the other girl said. I could practically see the hearts in her eyes. "I love his hair. And his ears are so cute."

Now I was glaring as well. "That half-demon is my husband."

"And the monk is with me," Sango growled.

The girls looked surprised.

"Darn, I was going to try to talk to him," the first girl said with disappointment.

"You two are really lucky," the other girl said. She was looking at Inuyasha again and seemed to be swooning.

Sango and I couldn't help but exchange a triumphant look. Yes, our husbands were hot but most importantly they were ours.

At that moment, Miroku and Inuyasha came back with our drinks.

"Here you go, honey," Yasha said as he sat next to me. I guess he noticed the looks on me and Sango's faces because he suddenly looked confused. Miroku was also looking back and forth between us. "Did something happen while we were gone?"

Sango waved it off. "Nothing at all." I giggled a bit. Something definitely happened but that was for us to know and them to find out.

The concert started shortly after that and it was good. We had a really good time and after that, we all went home. I'm really glad Rin suggested we do this. Double dates might be a thing for us in the future.
