This is Part I of the Veteran's Day Special, my little thank you to the active duty troops and the veterans back at home for their service in our armed forces. Today, we're delving into the last character available at launch of Smash Ultimate. The pre-order bonus that was my second and currently last "Why?" character in Ultimate. We're talking Piranha Plant. So let's not waste a minute. Here we go!
Spyro: Wait a second, is that just... a Piranha Plant?
Ignitus: It looks like it.
Spyro: Seriously? Seems a little... weird.
Ignitus: (Surprised) Well that was unexpected. Do you have something against Piranha Plant?
Spyro: Not really. He's a real wild card since he entered, but I'm still a little baffled by why this guy got in over Waluigi.
Ignitus: So you're rooting for Waluigi to get into the game?
Spyro: At some point, yes. Maybe not the immediate next Challengers Pass, but one of the upcoming ones preferably.
Ignitus: At least you aren't toxic about it.
Spyro: There's no point in toxicity, it just makes everyone hate everybody else more. We don't need that.
Ignitus: Fair enough. Now getting to the point. "Wild Card" was an apt descriptor for Piranha Plant, considering almost every attack seems to turn it into one variant of it's species, including somehow Petey Piranha.
Spyro: Got it. Time to uproot this overgrown weed!
Real talk: I'm honestly of no opinion for Waluigi. If he gets in, great. If not, that's cool too.
