Pokémon Catching Villains

Melemele Island: Abandoned warehouse

At the abandoned warehouse, the villains were as per usual.

"We need a plan to beat the Wild Ratts once and for all. If we keep losing, our names as villains will become a laughing stock!" Zach said.

"I agree, without those Wild Kratt Croutons, my culinary genius would finally get the recognition it rightfully deserves!" Gourmand said.

"And my fashion line would be at the top of the world by now!" Donita said.

"And the world would be so much better with more pavement and less useless nature!" Paisley said.

"Let's see, what is it that those 'heroes' have, aside from those Creature Power Suits, that helps them win?" Donita asked.

The villains pondered and Zach suddenly got a thought.

"Pokémon! Those twerps and their Pokémon!" Zach said. "If we had some Pokémon, then we'd be able to beat those do-gooders!"

"That sounds rational, but a lot of our previous plans were pretty much for that purpose, so how would we obtain Pokémon in a way that it can't be hindered by the Wild Kratts?" Paisley asked.

"If I recall, those kids have those balls that send out Pokémon," Gourmand said. "Maybe something to do with that?"

"Yeah, I've noticed," Donita said. "I've seen a few different varieties, kinda like different fashion items."

"We need more information on those Pokémon-holding balls," Zach said, then a Zachbot came by and handed him a guidebook.

"Hmm, okay, so those balls, apparently called Poké Balls… are what those Pokémon Trainers use to catch Pokémon. Apparently, it's all a legit way of collecting Pokémon." Zach said.

"Interesting, if it's something anyone can do, then the Wild Kratts can't bother us," Paisley said.

"Yeah! We can rub that in their face if they try." Zach said. "I'm game!"

Then, the villains headed out for their newest scheme.

Melemele Island: Route 1

On Route 1, the villains got their hands on some Poké Balls to catch Pokémon with.

"I can't wait to get my hands on a Pokémon!" Zach said.

Then, the villains imagined themselves with an army of Pokémon they have caught (surpassing the maximum limit of six Pokémon on hand per Trainer), and having them unleash their moves on the heroes, ao powerful that not even the kids' Z-Moves could stand up to the combined might the attacks, causing the heroes to be sent blasting off.

"This is bad!" Chris and Martin shouted as they and their friends were sent flying into the distance, and the fantasy came to an end.

"Okay, let's catch some strong beasties and let them loose on the Wild Ratts!" Zach said.

Then, the villains spotted a Gyarados swimming by in the distance.

"Ooh, a big one! Dibs!" Zach said, and he got on a Zachbot to go after Gyarados.

Once Zach got close, he threw a Poké Ball, but he missed, earning him teasing from the other villains.

"Oh, hush! I'll get it this time!" Zach said. "Zachbot, you throw it!"

The Zachbot threw the Poké Ball and hit its mark.

After Gyarados went in, the Poké Ball fell in the water and floated as it shook.

Zach, excited at his apparent success, went for the Poké Ball, only for Gyarados to break out before he could get it.

Gyarados glared at Zach and fired a Hydro Pump at him, sending Zach flying towards the other villains, sending them all blasting off.

The villains soon crashed in the northern part of the route.

"What was that about, the sea monster went in but then, it popped back out!" Zach said.

Then, a Zachbot printed out some information for Zach, who took it to read.

"'Wild Pokémon can break out of Poké Balls thrown at them, so it's better to weaken them in a battle first.'" Zach read. "Say that sooner!"

Then, the villains spotted a Butterfree flying by.

"Let me try this time," Donita said as she got out the Pose Beam remote.

Donita shined Pose Beam on Butterfree, threw a Poké Ball at and successfully hit it, however, Butterfree quickly broke free.

Butterfree then used Stun Spore on the villains to paralyze them before flying away.

"Oh, you didn't get it, Donita," Dabio said.

"Don't remind me," Donita said.

Later, the villains recovered from the paralysis.

"Alright! Now it's my turn!" Gourmand said, then he looked around and spotted an Alolan Raticate.

"That'll do! And looks like a tough fella, I like it!" Gourmand said as he got ready to catch Raticate.

"You like to eat don'tcha? Try some of my dough balls!" Gourmand said as he shot some dough balls at Raticate. "Now yer mine!"

Gourmand threw a Poké Ball at Raticate and it went in, but like before, Raticate broke free.

Raticate then ate up all the dough tying it up and began retaliation.

Raticate charged at the villains with Giga Impact, sending them blasting off again.

Later, the villains wandered around, looking for Pokémon when they encountered a Mudsdale.

"Whoa, that's a big horse!" Rex said.

"Hmm, looks strong. It could be useful for hard labor." Paisley said as she sent a few pavers towards Mudsdale.

The pavers wrapped their mechanical arms around Mudsdale's legs and shot cement at them to prevent it from moving.

"Now you're mine," Paisley said as she controlled a paver arm to throw a Poké Ball at Mudsale.

The Ball hit Mudsdale and it went in, the Ball shook several times, but Mudsdale broke free, with it using High Horsepower to break out of the cement lock on its legs.

Mudsdale, angry at Paisley, used Mud-Slap to spray a stream of mud at the villains, covering them head to toe in mud before leaving.

"That's it, I've had it! We are just wasting our time, and I'm covered in icky mud! This was a bad idea!" Paisley said.

"Yeah, you're right! We have mind-control technology, we don't need to go to the hassle of trying the goody-two-shoes way!" Zach said. "Matter of fact, we should've just done that in the first place!"

Zach snapped his fingers to call for two Zachbots.

"Zachbots, prepare a lot of mind control helmets! It's time for some Pokémon catching, villains style!" Zach said.

Soon, the villains had mind-control helmets on a lot of Pokémon, gathering about a small army.

"Ah, now that was more time-efficient," Paisley said.

"I'd like to see the Wild Kratts beat us now!" Gourmand said.

Then, the villains saw the Tortuga in the sky, descending near their location.

"No surprise, they're here," Donita said.

The Kratt brothers and the kids arrived soon to confront the villains.

"Hold it right there, villains!" Martin said.

"Let the Pokémon go," Ash demanded.

"No way, they're working for us now!" Zach said. "This is way easier than those silly Poké Balls, and now, we have an army!"

Zach pressed a remote to turn the mind-controlled Pokémon hostile against the heroes.

"All of you, attack!" Zach commanded.

The Pokémon all fired their moves at the heroes, forcing them to dodge.

"Hahaha! How does it feel, Wild Ratts?" Zach said.

"Whatcha gonna do now? Surrender and get beaten, or are you gonna fight back and hurt these precious Pokémon?" Gourmand taunted.

"We gotta think of something!" Chris said.

"Those poor Pokémon, being controlled by the villains," Lillie said.

Then, a call from Aviva came up.

"Everyone, I saw everything, and I have the answer to your problem," Aviva said, and a small computer chip was teleported over. "That computer chip contains a virus that can disrupt the mind-control helmets. Just plug it into one helmet, and the rest will be fried too."

As the heroes looked at the chip, the villains continued to attack.

"We'll distract them, you install the chip!" Kiawe said to Chris and Martin.

Kiawe had Marowak use Shadow Bone to hit the helmets on some of the Pokémon, and Mallow and Lana did the same with Tsareena's Leaf Storm and Primarina's Sparkling Aria.

Sophocles had Vikavolt use String Shot to tie up some of the Pokémon, Lillie had Snowy stop some Pokémon in place by using Blizzard on their feet to freeze them in place, and Ash did the same with Pikachu's Electroweb.

"Alright, now's our chance!" Martin said as he successfully installed the chip in a mind-control helmet.

The mind-control helmets all short-circuited and fell off, freeing the Pokémon from the mind control.

"NOOO! What happened?" Zach asked.

"Oh nothing, just a little virus program to disrupt your mind-control technology," Aviva said as she called.

"Aviva…!" Zach muttered angrily.

"By the way, you have other problems right now," Aviva said, and the villains noticed that all the Pokémon they enslaved had them surrounded.

"This is bad," Donita said.

The Pokémon all fired their moves at the villains, sending them fleeing.

"I'll get you some day, Wild Ratts!" Zach declared.

"Me too!" Donita declared.

"Me too!" Gourmand declared.

"The same!" Paisley declared.

"The villains tried to build an army of Pokémon by mind-controlling them, but we all know, something like that could never substitute real bonds between people and Pokémon," Chris said.
