A/N: It's time for the Valentine's Day madness again. A week early, technically, but what can I say.

Disclaimer: I just love working with these two. Besides, it keeps my skills of brevity in existence.

"Oh, Hiwatari-kun!" Harada-san called out, interrupting his thoughts as he finished slipping back into his street shoes.

As she swept towards him, he looked up blandly at her and the amused smile she angled at him.

"Are you ready for tomorrow?" she lilted.

"Perfectly," he declared and straightened, settling his bookbag higher on his shoulder.

"Do you want me to hire you a bodyguard?"

His eyelids drooped slightly and he turned to leave. "No thank you. I have no need."

"I don't know," she singsonged, delighted with the threat of the upcoming holiday. "You drive girls pretty crazy, especially this time of year."

"You seem as rational as at any other point of the year," he replied, then glanced at her from the corner of his eye, "even if that is not saying much."

With an offended scoff, she spun around on him and wagged a finger. "And here I was, offering to help you survive Valentine's Day." She tossed her hair over her shoulder, then marched off to the doors. "I'll just let you suffer, then."
