Chapter 1519

There's The Proof

Cam's team entered the currently active section of Level Three in the mine. There was a crude lighting system in place.

Gail was on the left side. She moved back to where the others were.

"I hear someone coming." Gail said.

Cam was still up ahead on the right side.

The team looked around for a place to conceal themselves. There wasn't one.

It seemed they might need to terminate someone sooner than they'd anticipated.

Cam heard what Gail said. Up ahead of her were several openings. They were like the ones they'd encountered earlier.

"Over here." Cam said.

She moved into the first opening. It was big enough for all four of them. They quickly joined her and moved into the darkness.

They could hear the footsteps as they grew near.

There was another vibration and thud sound followed closely by an explosion.

There was only some dust that fell from the top of the passageway and the cavern the Resistance team was in.

It sounded like two men approaching.

"I'm getting tired of all that blasting." The first voice said.

"Tell me about it." The second voice said. "It never seems to stop anymore."

"How much longer are they going to keep doing that?" The first voice asked.

"This is the last day. If they wouldn't have run into that water last week they'd be done already." The second voice said.

The two men were about to pass where the Resistance team was concealed.

"Look at the bright side. That's given us a few extra days with that skank Gomez brought back." The first voice said.

Both Grays laughed.

"I've done her half a dozen times. She'd still tight even after she's been in non stop service for a few days." The second voice said.

"Too bad she'll never finish growing up." The first voice said.

Both Grays laughed again.

Cam started to leave the group. Her eyes glowed red in the semi darkness. Gail stopped her.

"Not yet." Gail whispered. "We need to focus."

"She's used up anyway." The second man said.

"Maybe if they fed her something she'd last a little longer." The first voice said.

"I think she gets plenty of protein." The second voice said. "All she has to do is swallow."

Both men laughed again.

"Let's go give her some more." The first voice said.

Both men laughed again. It was harder this time.

The footsteps grew fainter.

Gail's and Cam's eyes both glowed red.

"I want to find that girl." Cam said.

Bob didn't want to lose sight of the objective.

"We need to see what they're up to first in the mine." Bob said.

They waited three minutes and carefully started out after the men.

Cam placed another repeater.

She hoped to run into those two Grays again before they left the mine.

Summer was able to hear what the men said as they passed. She knew they were talking about someone like her. She was ready to call for the temporal mission with CamNet. She wanted all of the people inside that mine dead. She knew the team needed to get out first and hopefully bring the girl with them.

John Henry looked over at Summer as they heard the latest conversation. He didn't see any change in the expression on her face. He scanned her visually and noted her temperature was up more than one degree. He could tell she was angry even if she didn't show it.

Summer looked at John Henry.

"Don't worry about it." Summer said.

John Henry quickly looked away. It was like she could 'read' him.

"I can do a lot." Summer said. "We need to see what Skynet is up to."

John Henry refocused. He wondered about the water reference that was made by the Grays. Cam also noted water or some other liquid at the bottom of the shaft she almost fell down into earlier.

"It seems they have either blasted deeper or enlarged something and created the problem." John Henry said.

Summer wondered about the integrity of the mine. She'd done some investigation into chemicals that were being procured by the mine.

"I think they were using RDX and manufacturing PETN." Summer said. "I believe they're mixing nitroglycerin as a shortcut and using that now to speed the blasting process."

John Henry quickly looked over the data.

"Nitroglycerin is one of the most explosive compounds that there is." John Henry said. "It's also one of the most unstable. That's why they're tearing the mine apart."

Summer thought it was more involved. There needed to be constant attention and precision involved with using nitro.

"Because the old part of the mine is blocked off they don't know that." Summer said. "The chance of failure with nitro is so great that there are most likely Terminators mixing and handling the nitro for the blasting."

John Henry knew where there was a Skynet mainframe there were usually Terminators as well.

"I think you're right on all counts." John Henry said.

Summer was worried about the team.

"Issue a warning as to the nature of the explosives and who's handling them." Summer said. "That will be their biggest threat."

Summer was aware that humans didn't last long with a Terminator.

Cam and the team received the update.

"Now we know why this place is falling apart." Jim said.

Bob wondered about the amounts of the nitro being used.

"They can simulate the explosive blast of a Terminator power cell with enough nitro." Bob said.

They all heard the reports about the chemicals.

Cam felt there was an opportunity to come up with a powerful explosive to assist them.

"They're mixing the nitroglycerine here below us." Cam said. "I want to assist them with a big batch."

Jim was worried about the big power cell or cells that they thought were being constructed.

"How stable are the smaller versions of a big power cell?" Jim asked. "We don't have any reference because we don't know what they've actually done."

There were a few things Cam wanted to do inside that mine.

"We're going to find out." Cam said.

The team stopped and listened. There were footsteps headed towards them. They moved back into another cavern that was in solid rock. They'd checked it out earlier.

They listened as the footsteps grew near.

It sounded like an older model Terminator's footsteps at first. They were spaced and metallic. The footsteps were quick, maybe there were actually two of them.

They saw something Metal pass by the small gap they could see out of from their place of concealment. It wasn't what any of the expected to see.

"Was that a Metal dog?" Gail whispered.

Cam replayed her files.

"I don't know what it was." Cam whispered.

Claire and Holly hooked up as did Camille and Hanna.

Holly wanted to show Allison her new rings. When Claire finished for the third time they rested.

"I'm going to look for Allison." Holly said.

Claire would like to be with Vanna if that was the case.

They left Camille and Hanna in each other's arms and slipped out.

Claire put on her robe from John's room. Holly only carried her clothes. They headed for Vanna's room. They could hear the girls talking as they approached.

Holly didn't think Allison would feel comfortable with Claire in there with them.

"Maybe you can pretend you're Samantha." Holly said.

Claire liked that idea. She slipped the robe off and quickly folded it.

"Let's see what happens." Claire said.

They softly knocked and entered naked.

Vanna and Allison finished up a love making session and now they talked with each other. They were very content to just gaze into each other's eyes. They would touch each other's hair or cheek and even kiss from time to time. It was all very loving.

There was a soft knock at the door and Holly and 'Samantha' entered.

Allison's eyes widened as she spotted Holly with nipple rings.

She hopped up out of bed and ran over to Holly to look at them. She thought she looked even better than 'Samantha' did. Maybe it was because Holly was so much larger and also her Metal lover.

"That's so Hot." Allison said as she fondled Holly.

Holly smiled and encouraged Allison's hands.

"Let's not neglect Samantha." Vanna said.

Vanna was on her way over.

Allison switched over to 'Samantha' and fondled her as well.

Claire kept a straight face. She was going to go for it with Allison if the cards all fell into place.

Allison led Holly over to the bed. Vanna followed with 'Samantha'.

Jesse and Young Jesse left John behind to 'recharge'. They both wanted to stay but knew they couldn't. They didn't want to be disrespectful to Cameron and the generosity she'd shown them.

"Where do you want to go now?" Young Jesse asked.

Jesse smiled.

"Down, that's where it's at." Jesse said.

Young Jesse giggled.

"I have to agree but I did like my time with John." Young Jesse said.

Jesse smiled.

"I did too." Jesse said.

Young Jesse looked around as they walked.

"How did he compare to some of the other males?" Young Jesse asked.

Jesse stopped and looked at Young Jesse.

"I can honestly tell you John was the best." Jesse said. "He knows how to love. You're ruined for all other men if you ever try one. They won't compare. They take what they want and don't really care if you make it or not."

Young Jesse wondered about Derek. She knew of their long association.

"Does that include Derek?" Young Jesse asked.

Jesse looked at Riley's room

"Derek's a good, bloke." Jesse said. "He's a good guy. He tries."

Young Jesse wondered if Jesse still held some feelings towards him. They neared Vanna's room. The door wasn't closed tight.

"Let's see what Vanna and Allison are up to." Young Jesse said.

When Young Allison pulled up in front of the house, she could see that Mel already parked the other SUV. Brian and Randy were inside the Young residence and Mel checked over the outside and the Detail house. Everything was in order.

Anna and Young Allison entered the house.

"Everything is good." Brian said.

Randy walked upstairs from the bunker.

"Everything checks out and I turned all the equipment on." Randy said.

Anna thanked them.

Randy and Brian went to leave.

"Stop." Young Allison said.

She'd just placed the bags of fast food on the kitchen table.

Brian and Randy stopped.

Young Allison went over to them and gave them both a close hug.

"I want to thank you for everything…." Young Allison said.

CamNet already told them to delete their files of what Young Allison did with the street punks. They were to do that when they went back to the Detail house. The drone footage was to be scrubbed as well.

"We understand." Brian said.

"We have your back." Randy said.

Mel came up from the bunker and connecting tunnel to the Detail house.

Young Allison moved over to him and told him the same things along with a hug.

Brian and Randy went out the front and Mel went back through the bunker and tunnel.

Anna looked at Young Allison.

"We're not going to talk about it." Young Allison said. "It's done."

Anna wanted to tell her what CamNet ordered all of them to do and what she'd do with the drone footage.

"All of us are to erase this event from our files, including CamNet." Anna said. "The drone footage will also be erased."

Young Allison thought about telling them to do that very thing herself. She felt it was an abuse of power.

"No." Young Allison said. "I need to be held accountable for my actions or what I 'make' others do to 'protect' me. The record will stand. Inform the others at once."

Young Allison thought about heading down to the bunker with her food. She sat at the kitchen table instead. Anna made the notifications as she ate her double cheeseburger and half of the pastrami sandwich. She'd finished the soda, fries and onion rings on the way home.

Anna contacted CamNet and the others. They were all surprised that Young Allison didn't go along with the cover up. It greatly increased all their admiration for her. It was the 'Cameron' in Anna and CamNet that wanted to 'protect' Young Allison.

It was the same way Cameron and Cammy wanted to protect Savannah from 'The Redheaded Witch' stigma.

Anna stayed in the kitchen with Young Allison until she put the rest of the food in the refrigerator.

"I'll have the salad tomorrow." Young Allison said.

Young Allison took the malt with her and went down into the bunker with Anna. CamNet got them up to speed on everything.

"This operation is a little more involved at this point for a recon." Young Allison said.

Anna saw that it was.

"It's still a recon." Anna said.

Young Allison doubted it would stay that way for long.

CamNet played the conversation that the team overheard with the two men regarding the girl.

Anna looked over at Young Allison.

"I did the right thing." Young Allison said. "There's the proof. There's only one cure for that behavior."

Anna could see the nature of the beast.

"Maybe it was the way you wanted to do it." Anna said.

Young Allison listened to the conversation again.

"Next time I'll use the Thermite to finish it." Young Allison said.

Anna figured Young Allison would do more than that.

Brian, Randy and Mel all heard the same conversation that Cam's team did. They didn't hear what Young Allison and Anna discussed right now.

"Young Allison was correct in her punishment for that type of behavior." Mel said.

"I agree." Brian said.

"The 'Chosen Ones' always know what's best." Randy said.

"Maybe we should go out later on and throw out some more trash…." Mel said.

Cammy didn't like all the flak from Ally about the girls. She contacted Camille and asked if they wanted to see the girls from the ship. She wanted Camille to trade places with her. That way she could take Leticia back to the base with Sheila.

Ally and Camille could take Mary and Laura back to their place.

Camille said she was with Hanna right now and Young Jesse might want to be with her soon. Hanna hoped to be with Claire soon too.

Cammy told both of them that now was their chance to make up for Claire and Young Jesse being with John. That was Cameron's doing. She told them how she wanted to 'punish' Cameron for taking Savannah away.

Ally was a little worried how much time Cammy spent playing with her phone as she drove.

"Are you going to pile up?" Ally asked.

Cammy looked up from her phone.

"I can do more than one thing at a time." Cammy said. "I have two eyes."

Sheila was in the rear seat with Leticia. They were both half naked at this point as they worked on each other. She knew what Cammy wanted to do. She also knew it was a bad idea to bring any outsiders to the base. She spoke at a decibel level that only another Terminator could hear.

"You'd better get clearance from John Henry before you create a bigger problem." Sheila said.

Cammy didn't like the rebuke.

"As long as you keep Leticia's head down she won't see where we go." Cammy said in the same low decibel level.

Ally chimed into the conversation in the same way.

"Just drop it, Cammy." Ally said.

Cammy didn't like her plans being thwarted.

"Fine." Cammy said. "I'll bring John to them."

That sounded like an even worse idea to Ally and Sheila.

"Cammy, I don't want any trouble from Cameron or CamNet." Sheila said.

"I don't either." Ally said.

Cammy spotted a car full of gang members turn off of a side street.

Cammy resumed her normal voice.

"Do you still want some action?" Cammy asked.

Leticia lifted her head.

"I do." Leticia said.

Sheila lowered Leticia's head back down. She saw the vehicle that got Cammy's attention.

"She means violent action." Sheila said.

Mary and Laura were busy kissing and fondling each other in the middle seat.

"Are you going to give us a repeat of earlier?" Mary asked.

Sheila liked that idea.

"I will if I can get my hands on another female." Sheila said. "I have some unfinished business in Frisco too."

Cammy headed towards the airport. Sheila previously told her about everything that happened in San Francisco. She knew there was unfinished business there.

"Let's do it." Cammy said.

Ally knew what Sheila wanted.

"I'm not so sure about that." Ally said. "It can get messy."

"Messy is my middle name." Sheila said.

"How many middle names do you have?" Leticia asked.

Sheila smiled.

"I have as many as the situation calls for." Sheila said.

Sheila gently pushed Leticia's head down again.

Cam's team saw, heard and spotted something Metal pass by the small gap they could see out of from their place of concealment.

"Was that a Metal dog?" Gail whispered.

Cam replayed her files.

"I don't know what it was." Cam said.

Cam moved up to the opening and peeked around the corner. There was some kind of a small four legged Metal robot. It wasn't a cyborg.

"What was it?" Gail asked.

Cam looked at it's construction.

"It was some kind of a surveillance device." Cam said.

There was another 'thud' and vibration followed by an explosion noise. Dust drifted down from the top of the passageway.

The team started back out into the passageway.

"I want to get down to Level Four." Cam said.

The team headed towards the next sloped shaft.

They could hear the Metal dog returning. It sounded like it was in a hurry.

"Quickly, get back in here." Cam said.

Jim wanted to take some preemptive action.

"Let's disable it." Jim said.

Gail wanted to take it one step further..

"Maybe we can reprogram it." Gail said. "We can have it work for us."

Cam liked that idea. She drew her Taser.

"I'm going to need to touch it with my Taser to make contact that will jam in a joint." Cammy said.

The Metal 'dog' walked back towards where they were at. It didn't look like it was looking for them or anyone. Cam waited right next to the opening and as soon as the front of it walked by she leaned over and zapped it. The contact was good and the Metal 'dog' was down. She picked it up and brought it into the small cavern. Bob and Jim kept a watch on the main passageway.

She carried a connector to transmit images from her neck port through a laptop or phone. Gail assisted her and they were soon in control of the Metal 'dog'.

It turned out that the Metal 'dog' was a 'cave in' detector. It was small enough and able to climb on any piles of rubble and get into smaller spaces. They cloned its signal and were able use a com and repeater to send the signal to John Henry and CamNet. They could control the Metal 'dog' and see everything it saw.

Summer was elated with this latest find. It gave her a 'way in' to the monitoring station that the Metal 'dog' sent its information to.

"I want a link to Skynet if you can find it." Summer said. "I think 'Rin-Tin-Tin' is our Trojan Horse."

John Henry tilted his head slightly.

"I understand the reference to 'Rin-Tin-Tin'." John Henry said. "He was actually a German Sheppard."

Summer smiled.

"No offense as to the reference." Summer said.

"There's none taken." John Henry said.

John Henry established the secure links and filled in the missing time in the log.

'Rin-Tin-Tin' resumed its normal function.

"Did everyone understand the reference to the Metal 'dog'?" Cam asked.

They didn't.

Cam needed to explain it to them.

Bob thought of Summer as Dorothy from the Wizard Of Oz. He was aware Summer wanted a match up with the 'Wizard' which was Skynet in this case.

"We could have called it 'Toto'." Bob said.

Gail liked that idea.

"We'll do that with the next one we catch." Gail said.

Bob hoped to tell Summer himself.
