So, there have been a few put out that Harry isn't exploiting the game as he should be. I ask, how many Gamer Potter stories are completed to full where Harry is the strongest of them all? How many of them have made it past to third year? How about past the First Year? What would be the fun in that? How many big baddies must I drag into this mess? Voldemort? Dark Lord dumbledore? A Grindlewald that had bid their time to build power in a great return to the story? Death themselves? A competent corrupt ministry? How about The Morrigan? Just how many big baddies will be able to withstand the might of an exploitive Harry Potter, Master Gamer?

How bout it everyone? The worst of the Worst, villains, monsters, thieves, murderers, confirmed Dark Lords in their own right against the Famous Harry Potter? Let the Games Begin!

Disclaimer: What you see belongs to their respective owners. This is crackfic, not to be taken seriously. Scenes will cut abruptly, I don't intend on making these into a story of it's own. Thus, there will be mistakes along the way that will most likely stay there. Scattering Plots is my dumping ground for Author's notes, and Omakes. Remember, TOS does not like single chapters dedicated to author's notes. I will eventually make a poll about moving the omakes from "Gamer Potter: A Fighting Chance" to here at some point since a couple pointed out that other's might see them as 'word padding' and it ruins the flow of the story... fair point, but that was then, this is now.

TLDR: Harry isn't exploiting the game, we want OP Potter!

EXPLOITING THE GAME: Compilation One
OooOooO
Chapter Starts here

Harry looked excited, able to test out a new thing he had found. Combining magics to create something even stronger! By adding a measly Fan of Flame to his Wind Missiles, Harry was able to create a near instant meteor fall attack! It was supposed to be a Class V spell to cast, something that would have taken him years to do!

Yet here he was, pulling off such a thing with two, TWO measly Class II spells!

Of course it was the height of stupidity to test this in a forest, that is why Harry was testing it in a custom instance! The boy had found a way to create multiple instances, without The Game even declaring that they were instances! So far he was up by fifty training grounds, all of them he was able to use anywhere he wanted! Time would freeze, allowing Harry to train for years at a time to perfect spells!

Oh yes, he even found a nice little trick to carry over the experience gained from training! So long as he remembered the feeling of the spells and power required, Harry was able to replicate it in the real world! The experience only allowed the spell to require less energy. Well, with the bonus of his ring bracelet, he didn't have to even worry about the drastic power requirement!

Harry had discovered that so long as he had a bracelet on, it only counted as a single item. Well, when a ring is attached, it didn't count as a ring, or another item. However, it transferred it's power to the bracelet! It would weigh much to carry such a thing around with the amount of rings he had collected and created. Not a problem though! Since it was an accessory, it only took up the required weight of the item alone, not anything connected!

That meant that he could connect a [Bag of Holding] to his bracelet, and it would act as a second Inventory, but not take any space! Harry didn't do that of course, he used his belt to do that already.

Still, he was now going against the Tree Demon, it had just summoned many saplings, mutating them into a makeshift raid to take Harry down. This was the forbidden forest during detention. Thankfully no one was around to witness it, Draco ran off as soon as something happened. Time slowed down as well, so no help was coming right this moment, Draco was after all only a dozen meters away at this point.

With a giddy grin Harry activated his speed, focus, and power conservation rings all at once. Time seemed to near stop for the boy, he took his time casting multiple wind missiles. It was a trick he also discovered, that so long as he was extremely focused, and incredibly fast, that he could cast multiple spells nearly at once! Since they still had to travel the distance, they practically stopped once he let released the spell. To compensate the travel distance, Harry would cast the spell slightly closer to his target. Once he was sure there was enough Wind Missiles he then did the Fan of Flame, a bit in front of the missiles. The spell was interesting in this moment, it was like writing in the air with his palm. It would take the flame a moment to spread out, already at the start the sparks had spread out and was trailing along the path he already made, at the very start a small flicker of flame was trailing behind him. Finishing the spell, Harry looked back, the start of the flame was already wide, the missiles were very slowly moving towards the flames.

Nodding Harry walked back to the starting spot, he put on a pair of [Sunglasses], it prevents being blinded by any type of light, before he deactivated the rings. Since they were all low class spells, they wouldn't take much of his magic to cast each spell. Since he had used the conservation rings, the cost was practically laughable.

The Tree Demon only had a moment to widen it's eyes in shock as a tidal wave of fire appeared suddenly and violently. Only a moment later did it crash and explode around. Without the [Sunglasses] Harry for sure would have been blinded, and burned. However, he had prepped for this ahead of time, he had a [Volcano Tunic] on at all times, it prevented the wearer from being burned it was also stitched to his cloak along with other tunics. No one noticed the garment was slightly bulkier. Harry wasn't quite immune to the elements, however he was highly resistant to them.

Since this was an instance, not true damage was done to the surrounding forest.

Harry grinned like a lunatic, playing with fire was awesome!

That was only one of many things that Harry would encounter before Hagrid caught up to him. By then Harry had secured an alliance with the centaurs of the forest, got an offering of unicorn reagents, freely given at that. To top it all off, he had managed to scare off the shade that was attacking the unicorns.

Neville was somewhat appalled later on, berating Harry that he should have been there to negotiate a better deal. Perhaps he wouldn't have had to battle the Demon Tree at all.

Scene Cut/jump

The battle with the Basilisk was anticlimactic.

The wave upon wave of undead rodent skeletons was more interesting than that. Even the battle with the living slime, accumulated throughout the ages of magic users, was more interesting than the basilisk fight. The puzzle to unlock the gate to open was more entertaining than this.

All it took was a [Rock Spear] transfiguration to end the beast.

Harry was disappointed by that, the beast wasn't even clear of the opening. He had turned the statue's teeth into spikes as the thing was coming out. The Spirit of Riddle could only stare in horror as the basilisk was taken down in a blink of an eye.

Looking at the Blood Red exclamation mark over the diary Harry knew that this item needed to be destroyed. With a stab from the [Holy Shard of Light] The Spirit of Riddle exploded into balls of light. Harry was awarded much experience, as well as a couple new titles.

Harry still pouted at how simple this battle was compared to anything else so far. He had also realized that his [All Seeing], the highly evolved observe perk needed work, the Diary was hidden even from his senses. Probably some kind of obscure sight blocking spell or something.

Once he was sure that Ginny wouldn't be waking anytime soon, she had a golden exclamation mark over her, Harry went treasure hunting. The next part of the instance wouldn't activate until he talked to Ginny.

Scene Cut/jump

Harry decided that since time was frozen, to go and Explore the new dungeon. It was his first dungeon after all, and mazes were supposed to have a lot of loot according to the gaming book! He had recently found out about The Gamer ability a couple weeks ago on his birthday.

It was when he was looking at the locked door that he realized that he had lockpicks. However, he didn't know how to use them. This left Harry stumped for a few moments before he had a brilliant idea. What if he made himself an instance to learn how to pick locks? He had just discovered how to make instances a couple days ago.

Harry would never know that it wasn't supposed to work like that. That creating an instance while in one was not part of The Game, and the system had no way to block such a thing from happening since it was hardcoded into it.

Harry would ultimately focus on lockpicking for a solid week, breaking many picks, doors, locks. Since he was already in an instance that allowed the experience to go with him, what he learned there transferred over through one of many loopholes he would inevitably find. Also being in an instance, it meant that he wouldn't even need to eat, sleep, or anything that affects the outside. Harry would abuse the hell out of this opportunity to learn more things.

Walking out of his first dungeon, Harry would have many skills leveled up to the max, even if he had only gained a couple levels from completing it once.

Being fed up about the time lock, Harry would maximize the amount of time inside whenever he went. Stacking up many skills, perks, and items to learn about. Of course he had realized soon that he wouldn't be able to level much further for a while, there were hard diminishing returns. Still, even that didn't deter Harry, he would learn as much as he could each time he went. It was then he also found out that the instance had limited loot after each consecutive looting run. He found out that if he left the dungeon alone for a longer period of time that loot and treasure would increase as the system had more time to add more.

Harry would end up increasing his searching and savaging abilities during that time. Creating a mental map of the dungeon, where all the hidden caches might appear. [Observe II] would eventually evolve into [Observant IV] during that time, allowing it to passively be active, increasing in power the more he focused when looking around. During this time he had also gotten [Crow Tendencies] perk, it allowed him to find more shiny things anywhere. It was amazing how much coins people simply drop about, a few other miscellaneous stuff for trading and what not.

He would facepalm when he realized he didn't have to loot anything, but could still use his learning technique to learn new things. It would allow the loot to accumulate without the penalty of him touching anything! Since the dungeon wasn't complete until the defeated the first boss, the only thing to limit him was how much he could max out before he had to leave the dungeon.

Eventually he would run into the level cap on learning things, but would compensate by learning something new when possible.

It was during this time that he also tried becoming strong. There were diminishing returns on that as well, mainly due to his age and body limitations, but that would just push him to learn the limitations and work despite them. He may not have the capability at the moment, but that did not mean that he wouldn't when the time came.

With what was to come, Harry felt it prudent to learn anything and everything to make himself ready. Voldemort would have quite the surprise upon meeting the boy. One day, Harry made a list of what he had learned so far.

[Crow Tenancies], [Observant IV], [Locksmith I], [Frostbolt III], [Frost Lance], [Cone of Cold], [Windbolt II], [Wind Barrier I], [Matmatician II], [Amateur Writer], [Science II], [Colors of the Rainbow], [Puppeteer], [Spellsmith I], [Focused], [Chameleon II], [Climber II], [Riddler], [Parkour II], [Telekinesis IV], [Frost Element I], [Wind Element III]

There would be more to learn Harry knew it. He was even sure that he had forgotten a fair few things that were passive. He was eligible for skipping up to two classes if he so wanted to! Something he was considering as well, what with all the warnings his aunt was giving him, he felt that school was just taking up more of his precious time to learn as much as he could. Perhaps it would also allow him to learn more school related things! He might even be able to finish secondary school before his letter even arrived!

Then there was the items he had found. The things he had also found was practically uncountable. Quite a bit of food, drink, health potions, broken weapons, random assorted tools for thievery even! So much stuff found that Harry left majority of it behind since he had already had much of it already. Shields, daggers, bows, spells, armor, clothes. Some of it unimpressive, a majority of it enchanted, all of various qualities. No one knew it, but Harry was a walking armory! Now, if only he could make use of anything, they were all cumbersome to use currently.

He was after all only five and a half!

It was a risk, something that should work however with all the cloth around. Harry spun, channeling a Scorch Wave as he did. Once he stopped, he looked about. They had all, to a person, covered their heads with their cloaks, they were all fine. Not even a spark nor ember in sight except for the ground. Harry could only gape in surprise.

"Nice try Potter! We knew you were good at fire spells, so we prepared for it ahead of time!" one of theme jeered once they lowered their arm. The others doing the same. "Get him!"

Spells started being cast at him from all directions. Harry could only duck out of the way, dropping a smoke screen of sorts. He hid around, running between the trees. He had lost them, but only for a moment. Harry knew that he wouldn't have much time once they saw him. However, he did have his ring bracelet with him. Looking around, they were all slowly fanning out looking for him. They were immune to fire, probably an enchantment weaved into their cloaks, however ice spells? It could work.

With that thought Harry stood up and shouted at them "Oi! Your mothers are rats and your fathers smelt of crap!"

They all immediately turned to him before charging at him. He waited for a moment before using all his focus, speed, and power rings once more. Time slowed, not quite to a crawl but close enough. Harry cast a Cone of Frost at them, an evolved form of Cone of Cold, sweeping from left to right. Just like years back when he used the Fan of Flames, it started out as bits of mist, expanding outward. Quicker than that last time however since this wasn't an instance but a Real Time event. Once he was sure that first spell was cast, he switched to another.

He took out his wand, twirling around and conjuring water, it too acted like a fancy ribbon made of water. Once he felt that there was enough he stopped channeling the spell. With a sip of a Mana Potion he started another spell, one of the Class VI spells, it was a spell known only as Blizzard. It required a decent hold of the Wind, Water, and Ice elements. Concentrating Harry instantly froze all the slowly dropping water around him, turning it into ice, then he focused a Wind Blast to shatter it all. It was a bit of a cheat, however it made casting the Blizzard spell easier since there was the element of ice and wind around him. Disabling the Focus and Speed rings Harry then cast the Blizzard spell. It pulled all the ice around him, ripping it apart and expelling it like it's named implied, leaving himself as the calm eye of the storm. The spell expanded rapidly forming more as it went. It was tossing branches, dirt, anything in it's way.

Just as predicted, the first spell slowed them all down suddenly, creating instant coats of frost. It would seep to them, making them even slower, if given the chance. They only had seconds to stare in horror at the sudden storm of ice coming at them before it hit them all. Lifting them off their feet, the ice smashing into them with reckless abandon. They could only scream in fear and pain as they were all tossed around.

Harry let go of the spell after a few moments, it was something he hadn't practiced because he had nearly no proficiency in the Ice Element, nor the Water element. It had cost nearly twice the amount of magic to do all of that. However, the results were spectacular. All around him were the shivering remains of the Death Eaters, their robes coated in ice with rips from the other shards, their masks cracked and nearly broken from all the shards of ice. A couple had even disappeared, most likely from emergency portkeys.

Walking forward Harry called out to them "Surrender now, or I finish you all off."

To emphasize the point he created and held a low level frostbolt, it was easier to maintain for longer periods of time now, it was far weaker than the other spells, but it did look intimidating.

"Y-y-you wouldn't-t- d-dare Potter!" was all one of them could stutter out, attempting to raise their wand, before being hit by the sudden bolt of ice, freezing their head and half of their upper torso in place. Sure it was a weaker spell, however that didn't make it any less dangerous. The others looked on in fear before surrendering.

Once they were secure Harry called in for backup. It took a bit of explaining to do, and what treatment they would need, but they were eventually gone. Feeling safer Harry finally collapsed back shaking, Susan immediately came over casting diagnostic spells as others cried out in alarm.

"Exhaustion, you need to rest before casting anything for at least a day Potter. Lets get you back to the castle, Pomfrey will take care of you."

It wasn't just that however. This was the first time Harry had killed anyone with one of his spells, an actual human being. The diagnostics didn't lie, the man instantly froze and died once the frostbolt hit them. It was war time, and there would be casualties on all sides. This was Harry's first confirmed kill however, and it left him shaken and disturbed. It wasn't even a high powered spell, the man was on low HP however, Harry knew that once that meter hit zero, it meant death. Usually in instances they would disappear, signaling their defeat. This was a living breathing person however. No loot drops left behind, unless he wanted to dig through their belongings.

The instances with Riddle didn't feel real since loot was left behind each time.

It would be something Harry would have to consider the next time.

Scene Cut/jump

The Troll was looming, thankfully Hermione was busy cowering in the corner to notice what happened next.

Harry ran at it before leaping up with his fist. With a punch to it's belly the beast was sent flying before crashing on its bum, groaning in pain. Harry took this time to do another running jump, this time aiming for it's chin. Another thundering crash happened, the beast was knocked out suddenly.

Hermione screamed each time, curling into a tighter ball. After a couple of moments however she chanced looking up, nearly feinting as she looked into the face of a knocked out troll.

"Lets go Hermione! The headmaster called for everyone to evacuate to their common rooms. There's a troll somewhere! This could only be one of them, maybe."

Hermione could only nod dumbly, not quite process what she was seeing.

Harry knew adding all those points into strength was worth it at some point. He just never had a reason to go all out against anything yet to see just how effective it was. He did figure however that he may need to add more points to his constitution and defense however, his entire arm hurt ached something fierce. Thankfully a health potion would help with that. Sipping at it, he tried answering the suddenly interested Granger girl. He would gain another party member eventually, once she really became a friend.

He learned that she was there because she was on her way back from the dorms. She had to drop off her bag, since she didn't want to carry all her stuff back and forth for the feast. Before that she was in the library earlier.

She had to use the loo, and thus missed the announcement.

END CHAPTER

Once again, this wasn't meant to be taken seriously. If there are any completed Gamer Potter stories, let me know yeah? It would be interesting to read.

Oh! A decent 'Gamer Potter' story to read is Mystic Knight Online by jgkitarel, they got at least 3 parts to it so far. A story about Harry being taken to Japan and being trapped inside Sword Art Online. It's a good read, would highly recommend it! Is it really a Gamer Potter? Yes, he is after all in SAO. 'The Gamer Potter: A Fighting Chance' story is inspired by it, as is it's spinoff 'Fighting Chance: Chakra Edition'.

The next update will eventually either be here in Scattering Plots, or Chakra Edition. So be on the look out.
