AN will be at the end chapter, explaining a bit of the story's direction.

Disclaimer: any and all events that are on this story is a fanmade, its fiction, completely unrelated to any kind of real life events, etc. it surely as heck does not belong to me. Every character that were included in the story belongs to their respective owner.

Since his parent's sudden demise, Sagami Ichiei had once again embraced one of the worst lifestyles that he had accumulated over the course of his never ending life. Those lifestyle, for him, was nicknamed as 'The Hermits Solitude'. As the name suggest, this type of lifestyle included lazying around his house, never goes outside, nor interacting with other people. A calming slow life that acted as some sort of revenge against the concept of time itself. His form of middle finger to the world which won't let him live normally. The life of a hermit was depicted by Ichiei as a life full of harmony, tranquility and peace of mind. There will be no sound, no sudden movement, and definitely no interaction with other human beings.

Which is why...

"Why are you here?!" A vein popped on his head.

"Yip!"

The person whose question was directed to only stared back at him listlessly, her head rested sideaway on her hand.

"It's not like I want to be here either..."

"Then... why are you here, exactly?"

The girl pointed her finger at the ball of fluff which rested between Ichiei's leg. It seems to be content enough having his legs as a makeshift bed.

"Kyuu~"

Ichiei stroked the ball of white fluff, gently letting his finger trailed its fur in a set motion.

"You want this back?"

The girl grunted, still staring at the thin air. It looks like the white wall strikes her fancy.

"So why not just get it?"

"It seems like even this kind of simple thing won't register to your head, you damn NEET. If I could get her of you, I would've done so. But since she won't even let me close, I couldn't do anything!", she mouthed off with a look of utter disdain directed at him.

"Ahh! So frustating!! Why would she even take a liking into you? I was supposed to be her Messanger, damnit! She should be attached to me! The Priestess!!"

"It's that word again, what do you mean by messanger? Better yet, a priestess? To a small fox?"

"Kuh, these is why normal folks are...! Listen here, That fox you're holding right now, is not like any normal foxes! Can't you see it's white fur?! Don't you feel cold on your hands when you touch her?! That Small Fox is special!! In fact, it was an Incarnation of The Arctic Fox! A bonafide Divine Being!"

"Heeh..."

"...which is why! You cannot! Just! Touch! Her!"

She lunged over the kotatsu, claws out and ready. Ichiei only stared at her, eyes half widely as she was turned into another block of ice by the small fox.

Ichiei only stared at the now turned frozen self-proclaimed priestess. Of course he knew the small fox wasn't normal. Which is why he brought out the kotatsu to warm his body. As for why he kept stroking her even when she was right about his hand turned cold, well... The fur felt really good on his skin, he couldn't stop fluffing it.

"Magic sure is neat huh?", Even the block of ice in which the girl was encased in did not melt to the floor and make a mess.

"Yip!"

"Now what?" He asked to no one in particular as he watched the girl's frozen form. That reminds him, he would need to apologize to Matsuri and her family tomorrow, they would probably be really worried sick about him, especially Matsuri. He couldn't do that now though, considering it was already past midnight. He couldn't just go to sleep as well, seeing as there was someone with hostile intention directed at him, even if such hostilility came from a person inside an ice block.

Looking back, his latest life before this was really dull as he had already checked every single entertainment available in his length of life. He even forced himself to read the classics, adaptations, and god forbid fanfictions. The tournaments were fun at first as it was an unpredictable matches everytime. Atleast until his hundreds or so relife which he by then he had already figured out all of the patterns and went against every teams on his generation.

That reminds him, he needed to check his investment on the stock market.

Stock Market.

The idea of gambling his money.

That was the next thing that entertained him for so long.

Because gambling was banned in Japan, he couldn't just go to any casino. There was the problem with his age as well.

But with the stockmarket he could maneuver anonymously, so he went with that. He remembered that one time where he gambled his money against people from the dark web, but just as he expected, it didn't really end well for him. Let's just say that the loss cost him an arm and a leg, sometimes it could even left him in pieces.

He shivered at those gruesome memory.

Brrr.

So nowadays he tried not to associate himself with those kind of stuff.

That one time where he competed with another hacker to break the international bank security, while he had to admit was pretty fun. But for him, the kidnapping and torture that happened afterward wasn't really a pleasant experience. Yep, He could do without that.

He may be used to dying, but he wasn't a fan of it.

Granted most of the death before the predetermined time was his fault, but still.

He heard the soft snore coming from the ball of fluff on his leg, which interrupted his thought process.

Even the so called Divine Being could get tired huh?

He eyed the gray colored laptop on top of his bed.

If he want to check on the stock market now, he would need to get up and possibly shaken the little guy. He was worried about what kind of stuff that will happen to him if he accidently spooked the fox. He wouldn't want to end up like the girl frozen in ice and at the little guy's mercy, frozen in a magical ice block made by a divine fox may be an amusing kind of death and worth a try as he haven't been sentenced to one.

Ichiei perished such dark thought, 'To think I could find it to be amusing to try a new kind of death...', a look of solemn entered his eyes.

Truth to be told, he couldn't afford to end his life this early though, not yet. He still won't know if he could even find this kind of drastic change in his next life and to recklessly try it just to proof a point was not in his mindset, his other relifes had taught him that. Besides, surely he could finally find a way to break his chains if he could just find what caused all of this sudden influx of anomalies, right?

Well, if even an absurd and unscientific proven concept such as divine beings and wolf goddesses were real, then the concept known as fate, destiny or even time and space must be true as well, right?

It was worth a try.

A single arm grabbed Ichiei's head, digging into his skull painfully.

"Gah! You asshole! Locking me inside this ice!" , Fubuki gritted her teeth, a look of extreme anger directed at him. It seems like her lower body was still frozen solid but the area from the belly all the way up to her head and extended hands had finally melted. Which in turn made her continue the assault, this time fueled with more hatred.

"T-to be fair, its was not me. T-the fox did it"

"Shut up!"

...

The sun was already up when his doorbell rang furiously. Someone seemed really eager to meet him, unfortunately such eagerness won't be responded in kind. He already knew who it could be, but he wasn't really in the position to meet her. He didn't think he could explain any of the thing that just happened to him a few hours ago.

His gaze went to the living room as he continued to was the dishes. Two pair of fox ears and their respective owner could be seen lounging around on the large white couch.

One black and one white.

The white one was twitching frantically, while the black one just kind of drooped slightly.

"Ain't you gonna open the damn door?! My ears are kind of bleeding here!"

"Just cover your ears."

"I have an extra pair of ears you idiot!"

"Ah."

"Don't ah me! Open. The. Damn. Door!" Fubuki shouted over from the couch.

Ichiei finally relented and he stopped the sink. After he pulled the rubber gloves and place it at the kitchen counter he went to greet the person outside.

As expected, it was Matsuri. And she looked to be extremely pissed.

"Ehm... Good Morning? "

Ichie asked in a perfect english, which seemed to caught Matsuri off guard just by a bit.

"Eh?! E-eto... g-guudo...?"

"It meant good morning, Matsuri. Now what do you need?", Ichiei asked an embarrased looking Matsuri, which he had to admit was pretty cute to see.

"...ah! That's right!" She snapped back form her previously flushed state, "Where have you been?! We were really worried about you!"

"You did not respond to any messages, every calls made never seemed to reach you. Saying it was outside the range of service!"

"We've even went and reported your sudden disappearance! Even asked the locals about your whereabout! And you know what we find? None!"

"You seemed to just vanished right then and there! ...Do you even know how concerned I was?"

"..."

"You even promised me..."

Matsuri stopped her rambling, her voice visibly shaken. Ichiei could even saw tears formed on the edge of her eyes. Ichiei racked his brain for something that seemed believable enough to explain his current circumstances. Something that does not involve magic and magical related existence being real and living. He was to engrossed with observing the small fox and the other girl, that the thought of facing Matsuri slipped off his mind.

Now how should he explain the situation as simple and as carefully as possible?

Words gradually formed on his mind as he tried devise a plan to talk his way out.

Firstly.

Ichiei reached over to pat Matsuri's head.

"Look Matsuri, I-"

"Ichi~! I need more of this bubbly dark liquid! It tasted SO good!"His voice came to a halt as a much more feminine energetic one loudly shouted from inside the house. The person then could be seen popping out from the living room, her white fluffy ears flopped rapidly with a beaming smile on her face as she held an empty glass.

The Arctic Fox Incarnate, Shirakami Fubuki (white).

FBK.

Had finally shown herself to the normal side of the world.

One person at a time.

[AN] : Thus, Matsuri found the true meaning of her life.

Well that's a cut!

Short chapter, trying to find a way to keep the prologue (yes its still in that phase) short. There might be one more chapter left before we could get to the 'Partial-Gamer' part of the story. After that the story should take a more lighter tone as it will involve Fubuki being cute (lol).

I was in a bit of split between chosing to intergrate Fubuki as a single entities, because I also want her to interact with the other Fubuki.

But thank god, I think I pulled it off.

Kinda.

There were also a bit of problem with the 3rd Gen, Hololive Fantasy and their role in the story.

Can't seem to find a spot to get some of them in.

Pain peko.

As for the newer Hololive members, it will also be a little hard to place some of them in.

Considering how little I know of them.

I wanted to also stay true atleast to some degree with the trivia and clips I watched of them. Their personalities, act around other members, etc will be taken as much as possible into the stories, but can still connect with the flow.

Well... I think thats everything?

Oh and review will be much appreciated!

Any holes in the story will be explained in later chapters either inside the story or an omake!

Thank you for reading!!

See you next chapter-
