A/N: Lol.

OOOOOOOOOOOO

Razer stood near his Havoc, looking over the engine and wondering what could be done to make it go faster. True, he was already one of the fastest on the track, but he wanted to be the fastest. Untouchable. The champion of every single race that he participated in.

The door to the garage opened and Mira stepped inside, dressed in form fitting shorts and a tight midriff top. She glanced at him and then away, heading for her zoomer.

"And where do you think you're going?" Razer asked, hardly looking away from his Havoc.

"Out?" Mira said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "I want to go practice for my upcoming race and Mara said she'd help me."

"You're not going out," Razer told her. "Not on your own."

"But I already told you that Mara will be there," Mira insisted, crossing her arms.

"I repeat: not on your own."

Mira let out a small noise and looked towards her zoomer. "I thought we went through this. I am not to be trapped in this mansion for the rest of time."

"No, only until your cousin is dead."

"Razer!"

Razer closed the hood of his Havoc and finally looked at her fully. "Mira."

"I know she wants me dead and all, but she's still fucking family," Mira told him. "She's all I have left of my uncle, who was all I had left of my mom. So don't tell me that I can't feel some fondness for her after all the stupid shit she's pulled. I won't go out and have tea with her, but I'm not about to let you talk about her getting killed by people either."

"Two of your family can't run the City together, Mira. Remember that. Rayne has. That's why she is taking so much effort to put you in the ground. Because she's seeing with the eyes of a crime boss and you're just trying to play the pacifist."

Mira stared at him. "I could tell someone to kill her…"

"You could."

"But wouldn't that be stooping down to her level?" Mira continued with a frown. "And if I recall, you hate me stooping down to her level."

Razer tightened his hand into a fist. "I'd prefer her dead than you. If it means stooping down to her level, then so be it." He narrowed his eyes for a moment. "You would do well to learn how to be a crime boss."

"Me?" Mira laughed. "Uncle was training me for almost all my life to be a crime boss. With Rayne. You can't honestly believe that my uncle wouldn't have taught me all that he knew to get the City where it should be."

"And how is your uncle?" Razer taunted.

Mira bristled like he thought she would and pulled her gun out, leveling it at his throat. Razer had his gun trained on her as well, his finger flirting with the trigger. Mira's stance betrayed nothing, just like he taught her. There was no weakness showing on her. She was in mercenary mode where he wished she would stay.

"I beat you, I go out," Mira said simply.

"Such confidence. You know you can hardly beat me." Razer smirked. "But try if you must."

Mira was a blur of movement and suddenly Razer was on the ground with her gun to his throat. The rebel was breathing harshly and there was darkness in her eyes. Something he had noticed being a trend since she had been poisoned. Her more passionate emotions brought a deepness to her eyes that could not be explained to her lest he send her into a panic about remaining traces of the Dark Eco in her system.

"Don't test me," Mira told him, pushing her gun harder into his throat. "You do not want to mess with me right now." She looked down at him with dark eyes. "So, here's how it's going to work. I'm going to go out with Mara and Sig as my only protection and you're going to keep your boys far away from me today. You're going to let me have my peace and quiet on the track and then I'll come home and play a game with you." She smiled. "You can pick."

Razer's pants grew tighter as he held her gaze and processed her words. She was being forceful and he was getting turned on? How strange, he found it, after being the dominant one for so long.

Maybe the girl will actually get on top for once and show me what she's learned, Razer mused with a small smirk.

"Do we have a plan?" Mira asked.

"I suppose," Razer said, not willing to give her a direct answer.

"That'll do," Mira decided and she holstered her gun before straightening. "See you later, Razer."

Razer flipped onto his feet and watched his young girlfriend mount her zoomer and take off into the afternoon heat. He put a hand to the front of his pants and felt the stiffness underneath the clothing.

Always leaving me with problems, Razer thought, turning and heading back into the mansion. Such a wicked girl she's become.

OOOOOOOOOOOOO

Mira slowed down as she made some distance between herself and Razer's mansion. She let her breath out in a rush and sagged on her zoomer.

That was too close…how could I even pull that off? Did he let me? Or was he distracted by something? Either way, good for me, but how am I going to pull this off without him finding out what I'm really doing?

"I'll figure it out," Mira said, turning down a street.

Mara waved from where she was parked on the side of the street. "Hey best friend!" she said, smiling broadly. "I hear my position is being threatened by a certain King of the Wastelands. Is it true?"

"Never," Mira promised. "You and Sig are two really great people in my life. But you're my best friend for life. So no, you're not being threatened by Sig."

Mara nodded, blue eyes taking in all of her best friend. "Well, I guess we should be off to the Healer's. Find out what's been going on with you."

"Yeah."

"Scared?"

"A little. I've never had to do this before. And I'm still so young, so inexperienced…maybe it's too soon. How will Razer react?"

The Wall Runner revved her engine. "I know how he won't react. He won't be all happiness and sunshine, but he also won't turn you away. Because I'm going to beat his shiny white ass if he even thinks he can try. That man needs to learn how to respect you, not treat you like a little girl trying to play in the big world. You've grown past that stage. It's time to shine. To make your mark in the game."

Mira plaited her hair over her shoulder. "You're on something, aren't you?"

Mara smiled slowly. "That's my secret. But you need to ask yourself…when am I not on something?"

Mira released her hair from her grip and sighed. "You're right. When you're not on something, you're not nearly as wise and understanding. I learned that while we were together at school." She sniffed. "Then you left -"

"Graduated. I would never leave you."

"And I was all alone with the people that hated and controlled me, minus Rayne."

"Yeah, well, don't think my life was a picnic," Mara commented, sounding uncomfortable. "I had to leave my favorite boys behind and there's this strange fact that I look so much like you that Rayne gave me a hard time. I kept receiving death threats and I had to make myself immune to most poisons and such." She patted her hip where her gun rested. "Why do you think I carry this out in the open? Because I want people to know that they shouldn't fuck with me." A smile touched her lips. "And they'll know better than to fuck with you."

Mira glanced over her shoulder when she heard revving engines coming their way. Something didn't feel right about their approach. She looked back at Mara.

"Let's lose them," Mira said, revving her zoomer. "Meet you at the Healer's in ten."

"Sounds like a good idea to me," Mara said, pulling down her goggles. "But don't be surprised when you get beat to the Healer's. I plan on getting there first. Bragging rights and all."

Mira rolled her eyes and took off, taking the main road until she could find some back alley streets that served her well. Bullets whizzed past her head, but Mira didn't feel any make contact. She raced around a curve and pulled her gun, taking shots at the combat cars that were following her. A happy feeling spread through her when she realized she had hit one of the driver's dead center in the face, killing him on the spot.

What is the matter with me?

Mira took off and handled every other combat car that chased her in the same fashion. She had a goal in mind and no one was going to stop her from achieving it.

OOOOOOOOOOOO

Razer stood under the shower spray, a hand braced against the wall and let the water run down his lean body. His hand moved smoothly over his girth as he pumped his fist over his length. He was imagining that he had Mira in the shower with him, thrusting sharply into her small body. She'd given him so much satisfaction of late that he'd become quite the addict. Her body now always held a small collection of bruises from where he'd gripped too tight or sucked too hard. Manhandling himself was half as pleasing as making love to Mira, but at the moment, this was all he had to work with.

How in the hell can one girl affect me so much? Razer wondered, groaning as he came hard under the spray of the water. I am the Razer. Untouchable. A man of a different caliber than the rest. Yet, one girl walks into my life and turns it upside down no matter how hard I try to keep it the way that I remember. And not just any girl, a girl that I should want the death of much like her cousin. How can I want one Krew dead and the other Krew alive? Be…infatuated…with her? It doesn't make sense and yet it does.

"Mira," Razer whispered, staring down at the swirling water at his feet.

OOOOOOOOOOO

Mira cursed as she looked at the Healer and listened to her words. "So, you're saying that it's true? I am still holding onto some of the Dark Eco my cousin poisoned me with?"

The Healer nodded, her green eyes glowing. "That is the case. I can see it in your eyes. The darkness. But don't be alarmed. I don't think you'll feel seriously ill effects. Jak's Light Eco cancelled out the most potent bits."

"That doesn't bring me comfort, woman," Mara commented. "How do I know my best friend won't keel over and die because of the Dark Eco still inside her? Because if you haven't realized – I really don't want to lose my best friend to her cousin's stupidity and greed."

The Healer sighed and spun her hand. A beam of light projected from it and took the form of a woman. "This is you, Mira Krew. Your body is running on mostly Green Eco, but has the other Ecos running through it as well." A dark line passed through the body, flowing around it. "This is the Dark Eco. Barely there, but enough to make its presence known in subtle ways. It will do you no harm."

Mira heard the inflection in the woman's voice. "Why does that make it seem like it can harm someone else?"

"Well that's simple really…"
