( Alas, a sixth part of the story has now been created! I'm sorry I took a while, I decided to update all the older parts because they were ugly to me. But now, I finally got around to writing the sixth part of the prologue and I hope you all enjoy it! I think you can guess which protagonist we're seeing this time... )

Prologue: The (Lab)yrinth of Fates - (Part 6)

-rae desu to laneecs su.

I hope you understood what that meant as well.

I know it looks confusing but there's a reason for that.

I can't have them realizing i'm writing this, especially with all this information contained here.

I know you'll get it, for as long as you can solve it.

{ AKIRA'S PERSPECTIVE }

I just sat… stood(?) there in the tube as I was carried slowly downward. Honestly, as big as the tube looked from the outside, it didn't reflect the feeling I had inside it at all. It somehow felt cramped as I kept my arms crossed touching both my shoulders and squinted. It was almost as if I was in a water slide, as I also tried not to have my eyes feel dried out from the barrage of air I felt when flying past downwards in the purple tube. It...felt somewhat surreal - it didn't feel like jumping from building to building on roofs like I had somewhat expected, thinking it would feel as if I could was fall any moment I may miss a step but instead it felt more as if I was just constantly bouncing around in the air, with more air in the tube below me trying to push me up, only for gravity to take over pulling me down. I spent for what I could approximate 10 seconds in there, till I felt the pressure of a stop from my descent in the tube. From my knowledge it should've been at most 3 but… I suppose something was making my ride smoother.

Yet, even if there was an attempt to make the ride smoother it didn't help the feeling of my legs feeling as if I had just jumped 8 steps of stairs, as I bit my lip, slightly launching forward, only catching myself by holding tightly onto the sides of the purple tube.

"They could have at least put a damn pillow down there or something…"

Eventually, the pain subsided though as I took a deep breath, and swatted away any random bits of dust that may have fallen on my clothing. I slowly tried to walk out the tube to utter… darkness. I hadn't exactly noticed that as I had been focusing on the pain in my legs but it was real dark. I could barely see anything in wherever I was; I was lucky I had some night-sight training a while ago… I then turned and looked back at the tube with a squint to see what broke my fall, to find that the tube actually seemed to… continue going deeper? Those 10 seconds seemed ever so long and there's supposedly another floor to this place? But whatever the case, the thing that caught my fall was supposedly made of the same material the tube was made out of (although obviously sturdier as it would've broken if it wasn't). In fact, if I could guess, it was also probably the same purple color.

Still, I just blinked as I tried to survey my dark surroundings. I tried to walk to the left a bit only to have my hands be caught onto a wall. It had… a rough texture, probably made of some type of rock. Then, I tried to walk right, only to happen upon the same results. This place would've had to have been some kind of tight hallway. I suppose I'm lucky I don't have some kind of claustrophobia. I tried to reach my hand up to the ceiling but… I unfortunately seemed to be a bit short. So instead, I crouched and tried to rub my hand on the floor. It felt the same besides the fact that it felt a tad wet? But speaking of that, my ears then quickly picked up on a small sound of dripping inside this tight rock hallway. Nonetheless, with just the tube behind me, I was forced to move forward. So, gradually taking steps forward, I was stopped by a feeling of a small drop of water dripping into my hair, which was followed by me quickly letting out a face of annoyance as I tried to find where the water had dripped, putting my hand above my head.

Upon feeling a small pile of water having dripped on my hand, I just turned my head upward as I tried to squint to see where the water was dripping from. From the best look I could get in this dark damp hallway, it seemed to come from a large damp spot in the ceiling. I was still unsure of whatever the ceiling was made of as I unfortunately couldn't reach it but it came from a spot nonetheless, where right in the middle of it was the area damp enough to drip. Still, besides this one wet spot, there didn't seem much else to my interest in the hallway. So, I inevitably continued moving forward till I reached a dead end. I rubbed my finger along the wall at the end of the hallway and I soon realized it wasn't like any of the rock walls at all. In fact, it seemed to be smooth, as if it was made of metal. Rather, it was probably another one of the metal doors, and upon further inspection, I was able to find a small handle which would confirm it. Then taking another breath, I pushed the door further and braced myself for what would come next, with a large flash of light quickly entering the hallway from whatever room was opposite of the door. I squinted as the door fully pushed back and I stepped into whatever room would be on the opposite side.

I blinked a couple of times before I was able to get a good glance at the room from past that hallway. My best attempt to describe it is that it somewhat looked like a mix of a hotel lobby and a ballroom in a way? The room was larger than the toy room I was in earlier but definitely not as large as if you included the shooting area past the window. The floor seemed to have some intricate design on it, with light blue rhombus-shaped tiles that connect at the center of the design in a way that almost looked like a flower without it's pistil. Near the top half of the rhombuses, was a dark blue ring that was "under" the rhombus "flower" with golden colored triangles that surrounded the ring, past the flower-shaped rhombuses. Besides the colored tile on the floor, the rest seemed to be made out of white tile instead.

To each of the corners of the room were seemingly small bushes in a large rectangular plant pot, 2 black and 2 white ones, with a white one at the left of the wall from the opposite wall from where I was at, and one black one to the right of the white one. Another black pot was more directly to my left and one last white plant pot to my right (both being at the wall closest to me). The ceiling was just a pure white color, although the fact that there was a fucking chandelier of all things on the ceiling took away from the otherwise bland ceiling. The chandelier however is what you would expect it to be, albeit maybe a tad smaller as to fit in in the room to a better scale, with a shackle that held the chandelier in place to a metal hook in the ceiling and the eight adorning candles on the pan platforms which were eventually connected to the "stem" of the gold colored chandelier. Honestly, it wasn't all too high scale but I couldn't help but just stare at it for a moment, wondering why in the world they felt the need to add a chandelier in the first place. But what I was questioning most was how a metal hook was able to keep that chandelier in place. That must be one tough hook alright.

Nonetheless, I looked back down to the walls, which came with the usual metal walls once again but with the added addition of 6 doors besides the one I came out of. I'm not kidding. Six. SIX. This room already confused me with the chandelier and this sure isn't helping. Specifically though, there were four smaller metal doors to the left wall from where I was standing and facing and two more, one each, at the remaining walls that were left which was not the wall I was closest to. I stood there for a moment, taking a breath as I tried to decide which door to go through. And as far as I know, I could go through any random one of these and whoever captured me into this damn labyrinth of a place didn't seem to be sending me a message any time soon. So, not honestly caring which door I would actually end up going into, I just did what any random person would do.

"Eenie, meenie, miney, mo… let the tiger-"

But, then I quickly kept my mouth shut, stopping myself from taking a step closer to any of the doors as I heard some faint sounds coming from… seemingly the door opposite of the wall I was closest to. What at first seemed like one faint voice quickly turned into what I could tell was two with an ongoing conversation.

"F-Figure Skater?! Wow… I wouldn't even be able to stay on the ice for even a second… you must be amazing if you're an Ultimate…"

"Must be? I AM amazing darling. No one can compare to me on it. But, since you're so kind, I suppose I can say that you're writing must be superb?"

"… n-not really… I can't compare to any of the other Ultimates… I can b-barely get a book in on time…"

I heard them approach the door as I reached my hand into my pocket, my stance shifting downwards as I stared at the door. They sounded harmless but it's always what looks harmless is what IS the most harmful. At least from what I know. And although I know whoever took me to this place just HAD to take away my gun, the toy gun they had given me in that toy chest from the toy room had to suffice. After all, if it can dent a metal wall even slightly, it's a weapon I can use. Then, as the conversation grew louder, I kept my hand on the toy gun and stared at the two who came out as the door swung open; themselves staring back at me in return. From the looks of it, a girl on the right and a boy on the left. It was then I aimed the toy gun at one of them, with the one on the right quickly letting out a shout.

"W-what are you doing? D-don't you know who I am?!"

She looked at me with surprise and fear, like how I expected. But, I really honestly don't have the patience to deal with crap today - her attitude from the conversation I heard between the two in front of me tells me i'm not gonna have a fun time dealing with her. I'm surprised I had even kept up a good mood with Fujio. I suppose… I'm just different around him. The boy on the left however just stared at me with a scared expression, biting his lips as they walked backwards slowly, holding their left hand with their right. Then, taking a deep breath, I stared back to the girl on the right before finally responding to what they had said,

"I don't. But how about you tell me your name before I decide to shoot your brains out?"

I tilted my head with a small smile before I realized my behavior as I took a sigh and tilted my head back, giving them a more deadpanned glare instead. I should really get out of that creepy habit… The girl seemed to shiver a bit before they pushed their hair back and their expression turned back to the cocky attitude she seemed to exude from the conversation with the boy to the left from earlier. When her mouth opened once more, I quickly took a scan of her appearance.

She had blonde hair, again like me and Fujio, but instead it was definitely a whiter shade. That said, her hair seemed to be about a medium length, reaching to just below her shoulders, and she had white peachy skin. She seemed to be quite thin, enough for people to yearn for her body type, although her legs did seem to be thicker than the rest of her limbs. She also wore a foggy blue cardigan, which covered her white shirt; I only managed to get a good look due to it not being fully buttoned up. And from the looks of it, to the top right of her shirt also seemed to have a small design on it, being a pastel purple shield with a diamond shape in the middle of it. Further down, she donned a tanned and pleated skirt, long enough to just about miss her knees. It also had a prettily designed snowflake on it, which helped it transition to her black and white stockings and Mary Jane shoes. That aside, there wasn't that much in the accessory department as I thought there would've been. I had thought maybe a ring? A necklace? But no, just a surprisingly simple tan sun hat that had a lavender bow tied on.

"Hmph. I'll tell you this once. I am Oshiro Rosu. Ultimate Figure Skater. You got that? I'm surprised that you didn't even know me, and to put a gun in front of my face, how rude."

Name: Oshiro Rosu

Ultimate: Figure Skater

She gave me a seemingly disgusting look but I just continually gave her an uninterested look in return which seemed to have made her keep her lips shut. Still, now thinking about her talent, it made sense, there was a mention of her being a figure skater in the conversation she had after all. Wait, conversation. There were 2 people. I looked back to the boy which had taken a couple steps back, and I quickly shifted the position of the toy gun to him as he seemed to bite his lip before he took a breath.

"And you?"

I stared at him for a bit longer waiting for a response as I got a good look at him as well. He seemed to have white hair, even more so than the girl- Oshiro apparently was. The same went for his skin, it seemed to be extremely pale and going back to his hair, it seemed to be pulled back into a ponytail. His eyes however finally gave a pop of color, although not much as it was a very pale blue, lighter than even the color of the girl's cardigan. In general honestly, he was… pretty scrawny. Not thin like Oshiro. Scrawny. Still, at least his clothing helped cover that up somewhat with his bland white shirt and long sleeved green jacket which had finally made him stop looking so… boring? The jacket however was pretty long, it went up to his knees; probably one or two sizes too large. By this point you might even consider it a coat. And finally moving downwards, he also wore some grey trousers and simple brown shoes. Other than that, all he wore were some thick blue-rimmed glasses. His outfit in general was… what's the word… bland. Especially compared to the girl Oshiro to his right but I suppose I shouldn't judge someone by their looks.

"S-Sora Santino, U-Ultimate Fantasy Writer miss... can you please put that gun down?"

Name: Sora Santino

Ultimate: Fantasy Writer

He tried to put on a brave face, with his head tilting slightly downwards, but I could tell he wasn't exactly used to this. Nonetheless, I had a moment of thought that was quickly disrupted by another set of footsteps, this time from the one door on the right. I kept the gun faced towards the boy which seemed to have now kept still, his left hand grabbing hold of his right arm, tugging at his jacket's sleeve. Then, as I quickly heard the door open, I shifted to having the toy gun aimed at the door. I'm not taking any risks today. I tried to give off a softer glare at the person that would come out but, I'm not exactly known as the person to go soft on people. Unexpectedly however, the person that came out - which was yet another boy, didn't seem so affected. Well, at least automatically. They gave out more of a confused look, squinting his eyes at me slightly before he took a deep breath. He had taken a step back before putting a hand up near where the toy gun was pointing and tried to let out a calm face, although I could tell it was mixed in with a slight bit of agitation.

"Ay ay ay! Settle down with the gun won't you? I have no idea what caused you to get angry but I'm sure we can talk it out, yeah?"

I looked at the boy more closely like I did with Oshiro and Sora. He's somewhat tall, at least a couple inches more than me and definitely more than Fujio. He's pretty slim as well, which I didn't expect but he wasn't thin like Oshiro either. His skin was pretty tan in general and his hair was a cool russet brown color and also messy as well, although I suppose less so than Fujio's was. However unlike Fujio, his eyes were a soft mossy green as compared to Fujio's bright amber and his eyes were somewhat half-lidded as well, making him appear seemingly tired. Although I can't blame him for that - I would love to get some more sleep in right now. His clothing choice however seemed unusually formal, although it's not as if he was going to a wedding… maybe more of a formal casual? He had a white button-up shirt on and a slightly worn out, half-tucked brown slacks on as well. Aside from that, all he had on was a brown blazer that reached just below his waist and a black necktie. Of course, the blazer was also left opened as I wouldn't have seen his white button-up shirt otherwise. In general though, as compared to the somewhat fancy style Oshiro had and bland taste Sora had, he seemed oddly normal? "Normal" somehow felt wrong all of a sudden.

Nonetheless, I stared at him for another couple seconds with my bright green eyes before I let out a sigh spinning the toy gun around which quickly stopped that odd moment of uneasiness.

"This is a toy gun. I'm surprised you all fell for it. Well, I suppose I was intending to use it as an actual weapon but it wouldn't do that much damage."

I let out a small giggle as I stopped the spinning of the toy gun around in my hand and kept my pointer finger on the trigger and tapped the "barrel" of it on the side of my head. Looking back to the side, Oshiro seemed to have let out a mixture of a flustered and surprised look.

"W- well of course I knew that! I was just playing along. A queen must be ever so knowledgeable you know?"

She put on an annoyingly proud expression. And annoyed in turn, I barely even looked in her direction as I pointed the toy gun right past her cardigan and shot the trigger as the toy bullet shot to just slightly to the right of it, avoiding it, and went straight to the wall, creating a small dent before it fell on the floor. Oshiro, having heard the trigger, quickly jumped to her left, her hands quickly holding onto Sora's right shoulder as she let out an over dramatic scream.

"Ah- how dare you?! How could you try to shoot a QUEEN like me? I know I'm beautiful but there's no need to shoot me to steal my beauty. With a toy gun no less! Unfair. Unfair!"

I gave her another stare showing my state of discontent as I sighed putting my toy gun away. If I keep trying to shoot her every time she annoys me, I'll run out of bullets.

"Shut your trap or else I'll shoot. Again. It may be a toy gun but even this can be a weapon. Plus, you deserved that."

Funny enough, looking at the boy that was oddly calm to having what he thought was a gun earlier, gave a blank stare back at her, giving a small nod.

"That I can agree with. But, you."

He seemed to stare back at me as he tilted his head slightly.

"What are you going around carrying a toy gun and threatening people with it anyway?"

I blinked. Well, if i'm going to answer any of his questions, he's going to have to answer mine first. That's how things work with me.

"Then tell me who you are. Maybe I'll answer then."

The boy gave me an annoyed look signaling me "are you serious right now?" But, I just gave a tiny chuckle to myself and gave a small nod. The boy then sighing, finally seemed to just go along with it.

"My name's Alabaster. Alabaster Terrian, Ultimate Card Collector. Will you answer now?"

Name: Alabaster Terrian

Ultimate: Card Collector

His voice was again, oddly calm for this situation but noticing just now, it seemed to be an odd mix of Hispanic and English. ...now that I think about it, Oshiro definitely sounded American as well. But Sora on the other hand, although a little Hispanic, sounded… Japanese like me? ...I give up by this point. Still, I sighed as I looked back at Alabaster and answered his questions.

"I got this gun from a room I was in earlier. Too bad they took away my real ones. And I'm doing this because I haven't gotten the faintest idea why I'm here and I exactly trust any of you. Yet, I also want answers as well. That's good enough of an answer for you card boy?"

Alabaster just let out a small "tch" sound in response. As much as that also somewhat irks me, he's honestly better than everyone that I've met so far. Fujio included. As cute as he is… he isn't very… smart per say.

"Good enough I guess. Just don't mess with me and I won't mess with you alright?"

I pushed my hair slightly back as I gave a small nod, looking at Oshiro which was still clinging onto Sora with him trying to subtly shake her away. So, after letting out another sigh once more I looked back at Alabaster and pointed at Oshiro.

"As long as you don't annoy me as much as that narcissistic bitch does, I think we're fine."

Hearing that, Alabaster quickly let out a small chuckle, covering it only by using a fist made from his left hand. I just gave a shrug as I finally took another scan around the room. Luckily, Oshiro didn't seem to have heard me as I saw Sora seemingly to have finally haven gotten Oshiro off of him as he clung to himself with his hands and Oshiro on the other hand, seemingly annoyed, just got to dusting off her cardigan. I suppose I'm obligated to travel with this group now... but that question is, to which door? Yet, before I got to answer that question the oh so familiar ringing on my wrist came again. They seriously couldn't have told me anything earlier huh? Although, I suppose that's just how our kidnapper...s(?) is just going to work. I quickly pressed the message alert and quickly recited what was contained in it in my head.

"Welcome to this Chandelier Room! I suppose you've gotten to meet the others correct? Right. Then, I suppose you've also seen the four doors on the right wall as well. Now, assuming that's also true, your Quartet will be splitting up for just a moment once more, one of you each going through one door. Once all four of you have entered past the doors, you will finally be brought to your true location. Have fun, ta-ta!"

"True...location?"

Those two words wandered in my head a bit before it was again quickly disrupted by the word of Little Miss Narcissist.

"Ugh, why would I follow the words of you Mr...No Good. You could've at least left me with some makeup. I look hideous! Unfair I say."

Rolling my eyes, I look at Sora letting out a small, seemingly awkward and uncomfortable giggle as Alabaster pinched his nose before looking at all of us.

"Well, seeing as we have no other option, I suggest we all go through those doors dear amigos?"

Sora, seemingly not really having much other input to say just nodded while Oshiro let out a face of disgust.

"Well why would you just-"

Alabaster put his pointer finger out to say "shush" as he talked once more.

"Well, for one I'm guessing you had to have followed his order to end up even in this room and second, like I said, there's really not much of another option. What, do you want us to stay here and starve?"

Oshiro seemed to be ready to shout out in objection but seemingly herself not having anything else to say to prove Albasred wrong, she just scoffed as she pushed her hair back. Alabaster then turned to me as he asked me, my thoughts about what he had said.

"Well Ms. Sharpshooter Akira, any objections?"

Knowing full well that I really have nothing to say on the matter, just shook my head as Alabaster cracked his knuckles.

"Well then, that settles it. We'll be splitting up through those doors. We'll just have to hope to see each other again won't we?"

Giving a simple nod, Sora followed with a subtle thumbs up and Oshiro simply tilting her head to the side. I suppose that's good enough of an answer.

"I'll be taking the right-most door and I won't take no for an answer. I've already faced enough un...unfair...ity from all of you."

And with that she quickly strutted over to the right-most door and opened it. Alabaster and I just looked at each other with a shrug as Sora just silently went to the left-most one. I suppose he wants to get as far away from her as he could right now. Alabaster and I then just looked at each other for a bit before Alabaster pointed with his left thumb to get to the doors, which I quickly nodded along with as we both entered the leftover two, with me taking the one closer to Sora's and Alabaster's the one closer to Oshiro.

Past the door was not exactly a room, although I suppose there wouldn't be one with all the four doors connected like that. There had to be a reason. Yet, what was most unexpected was how utterly small it was. I had maybe expected a tight hallway like the one I was in before I entered the chandelier room, but this one, it ended so… abruptly. I barely had an arms length of space, both to my sides and in front and behind me. The walls were again the same metal walls as earlier and at best, I was only able to walk maybe one step forward before the end of the "hallway" appeared. In general, it was smaller than even the space in an elevator and if someone had claustrophobia, they definitely would be crying right now. Surprisingly though, it was somehow lit, although not as bright as the chandelier but it's eerily similar to the brightness I felt in the room I woke up in.

I just stood where I was for a short occasion not having an inkling of what to continue on doing next. Our kidnappers told us to be in here for a reason but… there isn't exactly much to do nor was there any space to do anything in general. The only thing that I could possibly do, was to take a step forward to the end of the very short hallway. Still, I have a feeling something miserable is going to happen if I take that step. It was after that short occasion that I quickly heard a click behind me and I turned around to the door. There was no knob… I tried pushing it to no use. Kicking didn't seem to work either. They locked the doors, and knowing that, it was clear I HAD to step forward or else I was just gonna be stuck in this cramped "hallway" forever. And so, with a dreadful breath, I took the step forward.

. . .

Which was immediately followed by handcuffs appearing out of nowhere from the wall and clasping my hand together. And of course, the floor of that small area of where I was forced to step into, quickly split open and down I went, with my arms kept together by the metal handcuffs. I would try to forcefully break it open from my arms but by this point, I can tell whoever brought us here wasn't going to make that easy for me. So, complying with whatever was going to happen next, I went down and down, my hair flowing onto my face for a moment which made me try to blow it away with my breath to no avail. And so, it stuck there, I grumbled as once again and I went down… and then… somehow was being pushed straightforward? Whatever the case, it felt practically the same as when I was in the purple tube earlier. In fact, I'm probably actually in another one of those things.

I suppose I'll just have to deal with it.

- ~ [ AWAKENING ] ~ -

In a palace of light, there resides three individuals. Or at least, in the moment. A boy with blonde hair, and grey glasses walks down an ethereal hallway, the floor made of intricate designed and colored tile with the windows containing several images trapped in stained glass. In all, it's akin to a church. Well, that's how it appears in their eyes. In reality, the world around them was simply blank emptiness, just pure light. They are standing in a fraction of what the world could be. Yet, there they were, to be perusing and talking.

Another boy, shorter than the blonde one, with spiky black hair and blonde in the front, sits in an oddly placed circular wooden seat. In front of him laid a bright blue table, shaped also somewhat similar to what one could call a lopsided hourglass. He holds a cup of tea in his hands, the tea itself swiveling around as he giggled. A girl sitting to the other side of the boy giggled along but stopped as she saw the blonde boy approach. Her hair dark blue and the front a pure snowy white; her expression turned deadpan. She sat cross legged as she looked up to the blonde boy, with the black haired boy settling his tea down as he noticed the girl stop laughing. He soon then also looked up to the blonde boy as the blonde boy spoke.

"Having fun drinking tea are we? You should've invited me to your tea party. I feel left out."

The blue haired girl simply shook her head in response.

"You're not missing out on much. He's really the only one wanting to drink tea. There's not even cake or cookies set aside on the table. I'm honestly ashamed he's related to me."

The black haired boy then let out a pouty face in response.

"Hey what's that supposed to mean?!"

The blonde boy simply gave a smile, with the black haired boy sipping away at his tea, recovering from the blue girl's statement. The blue haired girl then simply rolled her eyes before she opened her mouth once again.

"Well, since you're here, I suppose they've all woken up then?"

The blonde boy pulled down his sleeve and stared upon his several pairs of wristwatches on his arm. He stared at one in particular before pushing his sleeve back down.

"I believe so. You have got them ready, correct?"

The blue haired girl nodded as she pulled back part of her hair.

"Of course boss. That is part of our plan after all. Still, they will have to be in there for a little while longer though."

The black haired boy settled down his tea as he looked up to the blonde boy as he tilted his head, giving a somewhat bored expression.

"You sure we can't just let them out now? I feel bad leaving them in there."

The blonde boy shook his head.

"They're not ready for it yet. But nonetheless, I believe the master and his league have awoken as well. They are on their merry way to the center point."

The black haired boy's eyes gleamed as he slammed on the table, the tea swiveling enough to it spilling some of its contents.

"I see! Who are they with now?! Maybe that Akira girl? You know the gun lady! Or- or that Mokomichi actor? ...the chocolatier perhaps? What was his name… Ayoishi right?"

The blue haired girl quickly snapped her fingers as the tea cleared up from the table and the tea cup just disappeared.

"Careful next time. I'm not going to be cleaning up after you forever you know."

The black haired boy just swatted his hand in which the blue haired girl sighed in retaliation. The blonde boy then put his pointer finger up to his lip.

"That I can not say. It'll spoil the fun. But what I can say, is that the master and the league are in separate groups it seems."

The black haired boy then stretched out his arms, yawning as he sighed as well.

"Aww c'mon! ...fine. I suppose it is more fun to see for ourselves. Still, the preparations should be complete by now."

The blonde boy nodded.

"All that's left is to operate the robot. It's been sending messages but he's not fully operated yet. That's your job correct?"

He pointed to the black haired boy as the black haired boy nodded and smiled in response. The blue haired girl then stared back at him.

"You haven't done that yet?"

"Oops- guess I forgot. Still, I suppose it's time for all of us to leave this place isn't it?"

The blue haired girl reluctantly nodded as the blonde boy nodded back, with all three staring at each other before the blond boy raised his hand into the air and snapped his fingers. And in a matter of seconds, they quickly vanished into thin air. The serene church area quickly returned to the emptiness of the palace of white. It's time to begin.

Fin.

[ PERSPECTIVE LOADING ... 10 ... 100%. ]

{ AKIRA'S PERSPECTIVE }

The ride along what I can assume was another purple tube, was not pleasant to say the least. It was worse than before. I had no rush of adrenaline. Maybe at first but unlike the continued rush as I went down the tube during my first trip downwards, this time, the rush quickly ended as I somehow got pulled along sideways. It felt as if someone was pulling me by my feet, my back on the base… floor(?) of the tube as something kept pulling me along. It didn't help that the handcuffs that were stuck onto me made me feel as if I was shot with a tranquilizer dart and being dragged to be roasted like in those cartoons. At points, my head was bouncing up and down slightly which didn't exactly feel great. My hair was still in my face too, which comes to say, if someone could see me being dragged through this tube right now, I would be a mess.

Alas, I eventually felt a quick pop indicating that the pressure of the air slightly changed, and in turn, finally the end of that mess of a ride. Yet, it seemed my pain wouldn't end quite yet as I was quickly dropped a couple feet from the ceiling quickly onto the floor. And as my bottom hit against it, there was a loud thud ...no… four loud thuds. From my guess, the other three were somewhere around me too. But then, the pain of dropping from the ceiling finally kicked in, which made me bite my lip.

"Gah-"

I took several deep breaths as the pain subsided before my senses, which were distracted by the pain, finally returned again. I quickly learned that my sense of sight was lost. And by that, I mean I couldn't see a thing. The room was completely dark like the tight hallway that I had arrived in from my original tube ride. I could only barely see my immediate surroundings. I was seemingly in the corner of the room, as I could tell seeing the end of two metal walls beside me. My hands were still unfortunately handcuffed together though, but at the least, I still managed to lift both of my hands up so that I felt what the wall was made of. And as you can guess, it was again the metal walls from earlier. However, that was honestly all I managed to investigate before I heard a shout from well, you know who.

"Ugh- UNFAIR! How dare you keep my hands cuffed and drop me into this… dark prison cell! Let me out!"

Of course, it was Oshiro, which from what I could tell by the direction of the sound, was in the corner of the room diagonally across from mine. I just took a sigh as I heard more clinking sounds of what I can assume is someone trying to rip apart their handcuffs from another corner, to which exactly this time however, I couldn't exactly tell. It could've come from any of the two corners that Oshiro and I weren't occupying. However, from the voice that came next, I could tell who made those noises.

"Ay Dios mio… I hope this place isn't too dusty. They're really not going to make this easy for us either huh…"

Alabaster, seemingly just drifting along this whole situation eventually gave up on trying to forcefully break apart his handcuffs and instead banged it on the wall. That brought a quick yelp from one last person that was occupying the last corner. I'm sure you can guess who that last one is.

"Ah- please don't bang it on the wall like that…."

Sora finally seemed to speak up as I heard a small clinking sound, his hands moving around slightly. In the end though, Oshiro's loud voice finally resonated with us more than ever as she complained about her situation once more.

"You two - help me out of these… things!"

"Shut up or we might actually leave you here."

I just sighed as I tried to get up, only to find that apparently at some point another cuff got wrapped around my ankles. Annoying.

"I see you're here too Akira. I did hear three other thumps of us all falling after all."

"I just hope we can get out of here… although I suppose it's a novel idea for a horror element in a story."

"DID YOU HEAR ME?! GET ME-"

"SHUT UP OSHIRO-"

She then finally shut her mouth as I let out a loud grunt of frustration, moving my cuffed hands down to the cuff on my ankle trying to get an idea of what it looks like in my head. From what I can tell, it was just a circular metal ring that had a chain attached to it which also led to some small hole in the very edge corner of one of the metal walls. My pinky finger couldn't even seem to fit inside of it. So much for that. But, Alabaster then finally set us back on track.

"I'm guessing we all came separately through those doors we entered, correct?"

"That would be... correct my dear."

"Yep."

"That's right."

The rest of us three seemed to agree in unison.

"Alright, then I suppose that also means we're all brought back together for a reason. There has to be a way out somehow…"

On that note, I quickly tried to move my free leg around to see if I could find anything else near me and what do you know, I felt some small item to my right and heard a small jingle. I tried to grab it with my hands but of course they decided to fail on me so my last option was to… pick it up with my mouth… like a dog. How great. But, reluctantly, I bent my body over to the key and with luck finding a key ring, I picked it up with my teeth and shook it around for the others to hear. From the feeling and sounds of it, there were three of them. Sora out of all people spoke up as he heard the jingle of the keys.

"O-oh… did you find something Akira?"

I would give a nod or say something but as you can tell, I couldn't exactly do either of those things. So instead, I tried to slowly get the key ring around one or two of my fingers. In the moment of silence, Sora seemed to realize why I wasn't saying anything.

"Ah…. right."

Still, as I finally managed to hook the keyring onto my right pointer finger, I heard the sound of something rolling away coming from what I could guess was from Alabaster as I heard his quick sigh right after.

"Of course it rolls away…"

It was then I heard it… fall? There were several bangs of the item during its fall against what I can assume was a hole before I quickly heard a noise, similar to the one I heard when part of the wall opened a while back, before a grunt from Alabaster.

"Ack- …huh?"

I finally managed to get hold of one of the three keys as I responded to Alabaster's grunt and sound of confusion.

"What's wrong?"

Alabaster seemed to be moving his hand around, trying to see what the item that had rolled away was before he responded to my question.

"I thought this… what I think is a flashlight had rolled away but… it's somehow back here again! It did hit my head though, which was unfortunate..."

Odd. I suppose that noise earlier was something opening up from the ceiling or something, probably being the reason why the flashlight ended up returning to Alabaster. At least we could get some light in this dark hell of a room… assuming it had batteries that worked that is. But luckily, as I could tell from the quick flash of light near Oshiro's direction, it did work. Nice.

"My my, it seems I could finally get something to see around here. Point it to my darling, I have to check if I got my hair messed up…"

I gave a sigh as I looked in what I assumed was Alabaster's location by following the light of mine flashlight. I have to deal with my own hair but look at me! I'm actually making an effort to get out.

"Point it to me. I need it to deal with these damn keys…"

Oshiro let out a gasp of so called "shock" of me daring to say that but Alabaster quickly just seemed to sigh, at least from what I could hear. He used his foot to guide the flashlight to my direction. Thank god. Finally, I managed to unlock the cuff on my ankle by using one of the keys on a keyhole with my hand. …it didn't work…so I tried another, and clink. It seemed to finally open up as I let out a sigh of relief. Oh the sweet relief of release. Now, to do something about the cuff on my hands now.

"Can you do this quicker darling? I REALLY want to get these cuffs off of me now… it's not fit for a Qu-"

"Shut it lady! I'm working on it…"

I continued to do my handiwork as I once again put the keyring in my mouth. It's not exactly gonna work out if I try to unlock my handcuffs… with my hands. So, with ever more effort, I somehow got the key inside my handcuff's keyhole and turned it around by tilting my head. Click. Alas, the second pair of cuffs was released. My hands were free now. But, I still had no idea where the hell I'm going in this pit of darkness and from the looks of it, there seemed to be a hole somewhere around here and I'm not risking falling into that.

"I'll need you to guide me back to you Alabaster. So try not to make me fall in the pit from wherever that flashlight fell earlier or my death is on you got it?"

Alabaster just let out a small chuckle as he moved the flashlight around trying to find a good path.

"Yeah alright, Miss Gunman."

Eventually, learning that rather the hole was more of a large ass pit I could fall into any second, Alabaster managed to find a small metal ledge where the pit didn't reach. Sora at least also seemed to figure out just how large the pit was.

"That's a big one. Larger than my books would ever get…"

Sora was then seemingly talking to himself as I tried to ignore Oshiro's several little sounds of anguish. I soon got a good hold of the keys with my now free hands as I walked along the ledge, trying to get to Alabaster. Slowly now Akira. Slow… One step at a time, I finally arrived at where Alabaster was and managed to get off the cuffs on Alabaster's leg by first, quickly taking hold of his left leg.

"Oye! What are you-"

"I'm getting this damn cuff of your leg that's what."

I inserted the key and turned it, click. Alabaster then soon just took a breath of relief as I followed up with unlocking the cuffs on his wrists. Click. I just looked at him as he seemed to now hold the flashlight.

"Now guide the way, card boy."

He just rolled his eyes at me as he stood up, taking a moment to try to brush off any dust on his whole body. He takes even longer than even Oshiro to do it… sheesh… Still, we then decided to avoid Oshiro on purpose going back to where I was originally, just to spite her and her bickering as we traveled crossed slowly on the ledges to Sora who seemed to be holding his cuffs close to his chest. I quickly just pulled out his arms and unlocked it for him, and proceeded to grab his leg and unlocked the cuff there with the other key as well. All of this was of course guided by the bright shine of the flashlight Alabaster was holding onto. It definitely took less time compared to when I had to originally free my cuff in my leg when there wasn't any light from the flashlight. Sora however seemed to give a small sigh of relief, in slight deep thought as he muttered something out.

"Ah the sweet bliss of relief falls upon-"

Sora looked up at us as he gave us a fake cough, his cheeks turning slightly pink, before he seemingly scrunched back into a shy position.

"...t-thanks…"

"No problem… I guess? ...now is there a way to turn on the lights in here or are we stuck with the flashlight?"

"HEY DON'T FORGET ABOUT ME! You can't leave a queen cuffed up like this! Unfair! Unfair!"

I just ended up ignoring her as Alabaster rolled his eyes. Sora just seemed to stay silent about the situation. Tough for her huh? Although honestly, I don't really care. Yeah, I said it. Either way, Alabaster kept moving around his flashlight to find any sign of a light switch before we finally seemed to find a light switch behind Sora as he had finally gotten up. I'm surprised and annoyed by the fact that he hadn't accidentally turned that on. Still, it wasn't long before Alabaster bent down and flick!

In a blink of an eye, the room quickly brightened up, which was followed by me quickly closing my eyes and covering it with my hands to the unexpected pain of the brightness.

"Agh-"

I swear, this dark then lightness thing is going to be a real problem one day. But as I soon tried to recover to the brightness being in a room dark as an abyss, I squinted only managing to see and hear the pit in the floor quickly closing up in a circular rotation. I suppose we won't have to worry about that anymore either. Eventually, all of us got used to the bright light of the room once again as I pushed my hair back more properly this time. Oshiro's shouts then once again loudly returned to the room.

"Let me out of these cuffs already! Unfair! Unfair!"

I looked to Alabaster as he blinked at me slightly, seemingly only just having recovered from the bright light. I whispered in his ear.

"Can we just leave her there or?"

He sighed as he shook his head before walking to where the hole was originally and stretching his arms.

"We can't just leave her cuffed up niña."

I just once again sighed back as I walked over to Oshiro. Sora instead, stayed at the corner where he was earlier but standing up fully this time. I bent down to Oshiro as I stared at her.

"You owe me one."

"Whatever, just get me out!"

I quickly took hold of the cuff in her leg and unlocked it with one key. Click. And then quickly unlocked the cuffs on her hands as she raised it up to me with the other key. Click. Click.

"Finally! The Queen is free!"

She got up and twirled around both gracefully and swiftly on her toes before she quickly went to fix her hair and wipe off all the dust she got on her cardigan. Meanwhile, I got a chance to finally take a good look around the room, having not been able to earlier due to the darkness. It honestly wasn't all that different to the room I had awoken in, the walls being made of the same metal and also having a light source from god knows where. Still, it seemed to be larger and at the center floor of the room, where the pit originally was, contained a metal floor as compared to the actual more tiled rest of the floor. It was however slightly lower than the actual rest of the floor which told me that the metal flooring must've come from under the rest of the actual floor. Otherwise, there really wasn't anything of note besides the more clearly visible metal door that I believe would be our exit. In fact, inspecting closer, it revealed that there was also some sort of lock that was at the moment, unlocked. Thinking about it, I did hear two clicking noises rather than one when I had unlocked the cuffs on Oshiro's hands. I guess I was actually forced to unlock her cuffs anyway.

Yet, something else puzzled me. I looked at the set of keys I had gotten. I hadn't really taken much of a look at it, as I was focusing on getting the cuffs off my and everyone else's hands and legs but seeing it up close, it was odd that I was given three as I only ever used two of them. What was even most odd was that of the two keys I used, they both looked like regular keys you would find anywhere - one golden colored one with a circular bow and another silver colored one with a more diamond shaped bow. However, the third key that was left unused, was much different compared to the other two. It definitely looked more old fashioned, with a bit, shank and everything. Plus, it was colored a bold white, for honestly no apparent reason. However, before I got the chance to really consider what all of this is about, Alabaster spoke up once more.

"I suppose we should get out of this room now correct? I'd rather not stay here any longer you know?"

"Agreed…"

"Well then I'm just getting out of here!"

Oshiro then quickly went up to the metal door as she kicked it open with her left leg like some goddess before… the door quickly swung back onto her face.

"Aah- how.. I-"

Meanwhile, after having put away the set of keys in my pocket, I was covering my mouth from laughing out loud as I saw her nose turn slightly red. Sora just looked at her with pain in his eyes as Alabaster made clicking sounds in his mouth to signal he recognizes the feeling of said pain. Oshiro on the mean hand just scoffed as she got up and then actually went out the door. Sora just slowly went out after as I looked to Alabaster holding the door open for me.

"You first. That's the rule ain't it?"

I just stuck my tongue out to Alabaster for a second before I pulled my hair back, which I luckily finally had the chance to do more properly. I just let out a small smirk as I walked out past the door.

"I don't need a man to keep the door open for me but I guess that's nice of you."

Looking out past the door led to the sight of something I sure didn't expect. A small hallway that leads to an elevator? The walls of the short hallway were this time, made out of some kind of tough dirt and although it wasn't as dark as when the lights were off in the room from before, it was still pretty dim, with only the elevator area being lit up from seemingly a small lightbulb in the ceiling. Speaking of the ceiling, it was made of the same familiar metal which by this point didn't surprise me at all. So, as the four of us walked on through the hallway, with Oshiro letting out small sounds of disgust throughout. We arrived in the small area the door to the elevator resided in. I took a good glance at it as did Alabaster along with me.

A small green wall surrounded the elevator door frame, although the elevator itself was of course, made of metal. In general, the elevator was actually like any elevator you'd expect, with an arrow pointing up and one pointing down. What's worth noting however was that the down button already seemed to be stuck pressed in, meaning we couldn't press to go downwards. I thought there were more floors farther down to this place? Still, it makes me wonder why there was a down button in the first place. Above the elevator door however also seemed to be a small rectangular yellow light which didn't have much of a bright glow but still lighted up more clearly than what the elevator door looked like.

"An elevator huh?"

Sora stared at it with fascination for a moment before he looked back to us for a moment as he clung onto his jacket with one of his hands. Alabaster on the mean hand just shrugged as he pressed the button to go up.

"And done."

I looked at him for a moment, wanting to ask why he pressed it out of nowhere. For all I know there was a bomb placed in that damn thing. But, Alabaster seemingly already knowing what I was going to ask, just shook his head as he put his arms behind his head.

"If they were to kill us I'm sure they would've done so already. Plus, this elevator had to have been here for a reason."

Sora then looked at him as his hands fiddled around slightly.

"N-no hesitation at all? You don't think there's a trap in there?"

Alabaster then seemed to stare into the lightbulb blankly with his mossy green eyes before he answered Sora.

"Things happen for a reason in life. You just gotta let it do it's work. Que sera sera."

Sora seemed to just give a nod but I on the other hand, didn't exactly get what that meant. I've understood the basic Spanish he's been saying for a while now but… expressions aren't exactly my forte.

"Que what now?"

"Que sera sera. What will be, will be."

Oshiro looked at him with disappointment as she looked at her nails, tapping her feet slightly.

"I don't know why you would think that way."

Alabaster put his hands down as he looked to Oshiro, hearing what she had said.

"And why may that be?"

Oshiro stayed silent for a moment, as the elevator let out a ding showing it had arrived, before she finally spoke once again.

"I just believe that you have to make things happen. A Queen must set out their own orders."

She quickly walked into the elevator as the doors opened leaving Alabaster silent in thought. Sora just quietly moved his head downward a bit as he went inside the elevator as well, with me slowly following. I've met people who think like Alabaster before but for once… I can somewhat agree with Oshiro. Leaving Alabaster to muddle in his own thoughts for a bit, I looked inside the elevator. The walls were again the same familiar metal once more but at least this time it seemed to have some sort material plastered onto it, probably being some sort of soundproof or soft material in case anything happens inside of it. There were however also metal railings and in general, the elevator was actually more cylindrical shaped compared to the usual boxy elevators I- no, we were all probably used to seeing. Turning around, I looked at the buttons for the floors of the place. 8 of them to be exact, with only two of them that are out and could be pushed, the others being stuck in an already pushed position like the button pointing down on the outside.

Looking at them more carefully, they were labeled from B4 to F4, seemingly showing there were 4 regular floors and 4 basement floors to this… labyrinth of a place we were in. Oddly, one of the buttons that we could push out was the button labeled as B3 and B4 wasn't the other one we could push. That second button that we could actually push in was F1. So, that begs the question of, why would the down button outside be blocked off if there actually was a floor further down? The only answer I could think of was that, whoever brought us here, didn't want us down there. Or at least, not yet. Either way, my small train of thought was once again broken by the sound of Oshiro's voice.

"Are you coming in or not darling? We're going to leave without you otherwise."

Ah that's right. Alabaster was still standing outside. I looked to Alabaster, out of the still at the moment, open door of the elevator, as he blinked, himself now out of his own train of thought before he let on a tiny smile, nodding.

"Huh? Oh sorry, I'm coming."

Quickly, he stepped in as Oshiro tried pressing the B3 button to no avail as a couple silent seconds went by.

"What? Is this thing broken?"

Sora stared at the button pad for a moment before he shook his head.

"I- I think it's just that that's the floor we're on right now."

That... would make sense actually. It would explain why the B3 button isn't working. We can't go up if we're on that exact floor already. On the meanhand, Oshiro letting out a sigh, quickly pressed the F1 button next as the door slowly closed, the four of us now all inside. Alabaster now seemed to avoid the walls as he dusted himself off once again, with Oshiro adjusting her shirt and Sora rummaging through his pockets. In a split moment, he seemed to pull out a notebook - it being a seemingly overused and thick one, with a grey covering on it, along with a pen as he hid in the corner slowly writing tediously in it. That's behavior fitting of the Ultimate Fantasy Writer I suppose. Meanwhile, with nothing left to do but wait, I just glanced back at the elevator door as we finally appeared to be moving upwards in the elevator. I took one deep breath as the seconds up the elevator went by. I adjusted my hair slightly and adjusted my jacket; I cracked my knuckles. I did everything I could to prepare myself for what would happen once the elevator doors opened up again. And as soon as I heard the ding signaling it was time, all four of us seemed to stare at each other in unison. It's time to go. The doors slowly opened, and I took the first step out.

Whatever's out there, I'm ready for it. So come at me!

A/N: I thank you for reading Part 6 of the Prologue, and of course, thanks to DreamsByTheSunset, Master of the AUs and Cryptidren for their amazing characters to take part in my story! But besides that, I suppose I do have some news to share. First off, i really need apps. And I don't particularly like pleading but I do need them and so i'm also enforcing a deadline for these apps as well. Of course on the off chance someone needs an extension, just PM me and I'll give you more time but for now, the deadline at the moment is,

JULY 25TH!

This will be updated in the rules section in the first part of the prologue too of course but second off, I want to say that i'm increasing the cast size slightly as well. At first I didn't want to do this but then I though about it and thought I might as well go on with it. More fun I say! (And also to give more spots as I added in 3 protagonists and another 3 extra OCs of mine, so I need to balance it out somehow.) Meaning, the cast size will go from 20 to 22! Moreover, I also added in these little character introcard things so if they feel iffy, please tel me, as i'm still unsure about them. But besides that for now, (at least for things to say to add in at an author's note), you should check out these awesome creators' stories below! They've been a huge inspiration for me to keep on writing!

Danganronpa: Out of This World - by Other Senpai

Danganronpa: The Monsters Within Us - by OceanAstro

Danganronpa: Golden House - by CandleFire45

Danganronpa: The World Beneath Us - Rayy12

Danganronpa: Beyond Broken - by LynnRowe

Danganronpa: Guilty as Charged - by Sempi (OPEN SYOC)

Danganronpa: Crown of Thorns - by raindropscyn
