Hello there!

I'll be honest, I had my doubts about doing this chapter, but ultimately decides to do it. And I think I have an excuse for this. I have received some reviews, that the sentences, grammar, writing, among other things, is not very well managed.

I will try to make the reading in this chapter more fluid. I'll try, if I make a mistake, please comment. Also do not forget to comment your opinion.

Chapter 12: The Official Hunt(resses)smen Part 2.

Vale's commercial district is full of life. People are shopping, stores make offers to attract more customers, vehicles sound their horns to signal that they are in a hurry, among many other things.

Among those people, there are two that stand out. One is a short young woman with short curly orange hair, along with green iris eyes with black sclera. And a tall young woman with short dark brown hair with wavy locks with caramel-colored tips, along with some black aviator sunglasses.

Penny smiled uncomfortably as she looked away. Coco has a calm smile. She briefly greeting several people who were. She even stopped to give someone her autograph.

After Friend Jaune left to fulfill his mission, she had been motivated to do a team mission. When she went to request a team job at the Association headquarters, they were confused. Minutes passed and it seemed that she and the secretary would come to nothing.

It was when Coco appeared out of nowhere, offering herself as her partner. The emotion she felt was so great that she ended up hugging her. And now she…tries her best not to look rude, but they've just walked around, checked a few stores, waving at people, and posing for photos.

"Something happens?" Coco asked after saying goodbye to a little girl who had asked her for a selfie. Being the Class A Rank 1 Huntress is not an easy thing, she has to deal with work, attend meetings, interviews, check the latest fashion news, eliminate grimm, etc.

"Oh well...uh, it's nothing. I apologize in case it worries you." Penny smiled sheepishly as she awkwardly stroked her head. When Coco looked away from her, Penny did too, letting out a sigh. She doesn't really feel like she can complain, Coco was kind enough to offer to accompany her.

"Well, we are here." Coco said with a big smile as she spread her arms, as if she was praising a higher being. Penny looked at the cause. Seeing that it is a clothing store, she raised an eyebrow.

"My favourite store. I haven't been here in a long time." Coco looked at Penny's clothes, as always weird. "You know, I think you need a makeover." Coco put her hand on Penny's shoulder, startling her a little. Before she could say anything to her, she Penny quickly nodded with a smile. Coco decided to smile back, although her eyes, hidden thanks to her glasses, knew that Penny's smile was forced.

"I'll ask her what happens later." She shook her head briefly, before they both entered the store. She really was selfish in offering to accompany her, but she wanted to vent after that boring meeting at headquarters.

Previously.

Inside the Huntsmen Association headquarters in Vale, a weekly meeting of different reports is being held from various huntsmen and huntresses throughout Remnant.

Coco is reading messages on her scroll while her feet are on the table. This behavior is rude, and indeed it is, but you have attended these types of meetings long enough. It's the same as always.

"Well, let's go over the reports we received." Said one of the workers as he pressed a button. A holographic screen of a huntsman's profile appeared.

"Class S Huntsman, Marrow Amin. Nothing unusual." The worker commented, receiving some glances from some colleagues.

"Nothing unusual?" One of the workers questioned what his colleague said. Typically the reports from Atlas are the longest, most detailed, and tedious to review.

"Yes, Marrow doesn't like to get complicated and it sums it up. We also received a report from General Ironwood. He says that while the number of grimm around Mantle has increased, they have been able to deal with them easily." The worker said as he handed a scroll to his colleague, who read it briefly due to the length of the report.

"Let's continue. Class A Huntsman, Sun Wukong. Nothing unusual." He said while reviewing Mistral's report. Most of the time it has been in order, except for a few bandit and grimm attacks on small settlements. Fortunately they were repelled in time.

"They found the bullhead carrying criminal Bertilak Celadon crashed in the desert. The entire crew was found dead, including Celadon. The case is being investigated." The worker informed. This got Coco's attention, but not enough, as she rechecked her scroll.

"Class C Huntsmen, Dee and Dudley. After the incident with the giant woman, progress on repairs in the city has been very slow. They request more personnel to secure the area. Other than that, nothing unusual." The worker reported. Some of the workers look concerned. The cost of repairing that city is very expensive, but it is one of the few cities that functioned without being a capital.

"The city suffered a lot of damage. I approve the request." Said a female voice. The worker put his gaze on a device that projects a holographic screen. In it there is a slightly older young woman with brown skin, short dark brown hair, wearing red glasses that cover her eyes the same color as her hair. She wears a dark navy collared shirt under a light blue cardigan. "The damage caused was visible even from Argus. We have received some complaints about our slowness in these types of situations."

Several workers agreed. Although they may have better structured hunstmen, it is true that when an attack occurs it can take a long time to mobilize a team. You have to consider that they have to assess the level of disaster, how many huntsmen are available in the area, check how much help they can be, etc.

"We have started to strengthen our database. We have also improved our Intelligence Center to receive data in advance." Said a male voice. From another holographic screen, it shows an adult man with pale skin, black hair arranged with gray tones on the sides, with a light blue left eye and a dark blue prosthetic right eye under black glasses. He wears a dark navy blue suit over a grayish blue vest and a dark blue tie.

"Class A Hunstman, Brawnz Ni. Progress in rebuilding the Vale Phantom Area has been fruitful. It is expected that in a few weeks everything will be ready to finally begin." The worker concluded. Those present withdrew and those who communicated over the network disconnected.

Coco let out a sigh and then left. And after going down the elevator, she bumped into a girl with robotic arms.

"C-Coco...I don't think I should-"

"No need to worry. Come on, go try it on." Coco pushed Penny into a fitting room. Coco waited while smiling quietly. She is very happy, it makes her remember her time at Beacon. All those times she went with her shopping team. All the times that she convinced Velvet to try on her clothes that made her look cute, even though she was upset.

"Coco...are you sure?" She could hear Penny's doubts, but Coco shrugged. It's normal, people feel weird when they use new things.

"Of course dear. Come on, let me see you." Then the fitting room curtain was parted. Coco raised her thumb and liked what she saw. Penny has a black bow at the back of her head. She wears a gray ruffled sleeveless top, with bronze snaps that close her top, along with a smaller black bow across her upper chest. She has a brown belt with a gold buckle that fastens her light green skirt with a black trim. Beneath her she has long black stockings with four light greenish vertical lines and black shoes with bronze studs.

"You are beautiful!" Coco came over and looked at her in detail. As the fashionista studies her like they're on a fashion runway, Penny giggled shyly. She unconsciously began to hit the floor with her foot. She had activated her motion sensors, detecting even the fluttering of flies, the footsteps of people inside the store, sounds from the street, anything in case something happened.

"Penny, what's wrong with you?" That question startled her. Turning her head, she saw that Coco was staring at her. Her sunglasses hid her gaze, but the neutral expression on her lips confirmed that she was asking seriously.

"Well...is that...these clothes are not functional." She answered her while closing her eyes briefly, but when she opened them, she felt a chill at Coco's penetrating gaze. She waved her hands before continuing. "I-I mean, I'm not saying that your the c-choice of clothing is bad, simply that when it c-comes to fighting it can be counterproductive."

Coco adjusted her glasses before speaking. "Penny, we are huntress. If something characterizes us, it is that we are not in uniform, but rather that we wear clothing that at first glance is not functional." Coco spoke as she briefly walks around Penny. "And you are right. But we make those clothes functional. Look at me, I fight the grimm in heels." Penny glanced down briefly. Coco's heels are indeed high, but she walks like they are sneakers.

"It's just...the skirt could get caught in a tree..." Penny tried to excuse herself, but in the end her arms slumped and she sighed with her head lowered. She felt like Coco had started to stroke her head. Looking up, she saw that she had removed her glasses, showing sympathetic dark brown eyes, along with a calm smile.

"Dear, don't worry about that kind of thing. We are not fighting or devising strategies. We're just hanging out, you know, having fun." Coco hugged the gynoid's shoulder, to then go to the store counter. After paying and collecting Penny's clothes, they left the clothing store.

"Well...now what do we do?" Penny asked, but no longer with doubt or discomfort, she now speaks confidently as she smiles. Coco smiled back.

"You know, there's a restaurant nearby, I've heard good reviews-"

Boom!

Both huntresses searched for the cause of the explosion, watching a car fly out wrapped in fire, along with some people screaming and running away from the scene, accompanied by more explosions. They rushed to help, watching a silhouette emerge from the fire.

She is a tall and rather slim humanoid with dark skin like coal. She has her skull exposed with red markings on it, showing three pairs of red eyes with yellow veins, along with a pair of small horns. Her face and part of her body are covered by a large number of long white tentacles with black and red markings.

"I had been ordered to be discreet, but I couldn't help it!" She said the grimm in a feminine voice. She pushed a few tentacles away from her face so she could appreciate all the chaos she's caused. "The feeling of causing chaos...it was so great!" Her hands did not stop shaking, while her voice grew sharper with emotion.

Disaster Level: Demon. Tentacle Infinity.

"Well Penny, if you wanted to do something, there it is." Coco said with a smile as she prepared her fists. She doesn't have her purse on hand, but she's not useless without a gun.

"Great, huntresses!" Tentacle Infinity pounced on them. Penny followed her lead as she prepares the cannons of hers that she holds in her hands. She took a great leap and fired powerful blasts of fire that hit her squarely. But when they calmed down, Penny gasped as she saw the grimm encased in a cocoon made of tentacles.

"What are its tentacles made of?" Her motion sensors activated. She saw how some tentacles are inside the sewer system. Just when she looked down from her, she saw that her ankles are wrapped in tentacles.

Penny was pulled to the ground, just to be dragged down the street and thrown against a wall, knocking her down in the process.

"Penny!" If she's honest, she's surprised. She has dealt with strong grimm, but she never saw one being able to intercept someone at that speed, considering that Penny is class S. This grimm is at least demon level, even higher. Tentacle Infinity attacked with its tentacles, but the fashionista dodged it in time. She kept attacking with her tentacles as Coco got closer and closer.

"Take this!" Coco used her aura to empower her leg. The grimm threw one of her tentacles, but Coco's kick cut it off. Seeing this, Tentacle Infinity jumped back, dodging the kick that caused a small crater when it hit the ground.

"You're lucky I left my bag at my house." I growl as she looks at the grimm, who stared at her severed tentacle. "You are funny." Her pairs of red eyes lit up, as her yellow veins expanded.

"I would like to say the same, but no." Even with her sunglasses, one would notice that she was frowning. "In a few minutes reinforcements will come, but when they arrive you will be dead." She pounced on her. Tentacle Infinity attacked her with her tentacles, which were dodged. Coco threw a punch that was dodged, she jumped dodging some tentacles, then began to strike several times, although her attacks were blocked.

When Coco looked up out of sheer chance, she jumped back. The grimm also looked up, lifting tentacles above her that blocked an explosion of fire. Penny landed near Coco. Her clothing was severely damaged, showing parts of her mechanical body.

"Good to see you." Coco muttered, Penny looked at her for a second and nodded, then focused on the grimm. The latter pinned her tentacles to the ground. The gynoid's motion sensors went crazy. Then Penny took Coco and took a great leap, just as many tentacles broke the ground and tried to reach them, but fell back when the gynoid fired a much more intense blast of fire, to the point of partially melting the street.

"If only we weren't in a civil zone...it could use higher-powered attacks..." She complained Penny as they landed, releasing Coco, who went on alert, managing to intercept a tentacle that came out of the ground. With force she managed to split him in half, forcing him to retreat through the hole from which he came out.

"Do it, just make sure you control them." Thanks to Coco's advice, Penny formed a smile and nodded. By bringing their forearms together, various mechanical parts were deployed from them, which when joined together formed sword blades.

Penny pounced on the grimm, which attacked with her tentacles, but were cut or deflected by the blades that were engulfed in fire. Tentacle Infinity fell back, dodging a vertical slash, to then deploy several tentacles behind her, protecting her from a kick from Coco.

Tentacle Infinity began to retreat as she used her tentacles to ward off the attacks of the huntresses, although most of her tentacles ended up severed, badly damaged or burned. But that wasn't a problem, thanks to her accelerated regenerative factor, she has literally an infinite number of tentacles.

"Die!" Tentacle Infinity attacked with a large number of tentacles. But Penny swooped in and threw a large x-shaped slash, severing all the tentacles as they were burned. The pressure in the air created a shock wave shattering nearby windows.

The gynoid's attack was taken advantage of by Coco, who managed to position herself behind the grimm. The latter could not react in time, receiving a powerful kick to the calf that ended up fracturing her bones.

"AARGHHH!" Tentacle Infinity roared as it twisted all of its tentacles around it and violently ejected them, sending the huntresses flying. She wrapped herself in a cocoon of tentacles. She let out several moans as she touched her calf, her bone could be seen. This is bad, her regeneration with other parts of her body is much slower.

Suddenly her tentacle cocoon trembled, then trembled again. She is being bombarded by constant attacks. Her regeneration prevents blows from penetrating her defense, but she cannot fight with her leg in that state.

"Now Penny!" Coco yelled and then took cover. Penny readied her cannons, which glow a deep orange, small cannons sprouted from her forearms. She took a big jump and pointed at the cocoon of tentacles. "FIRE!"

A great spiraling blast of fire shot out. Coco managed to feel the heat of the attack. Which completely covers the street in a spherical way, illuminating the place to the point that Coco had to cover her eyes with her arm. Inside that fireball, Tentacle Infinity has created a barrier with ALL of its tentacles, but it feels like they are slowly burning, and to her horror, its regeneration is not fast enough.

"Shit! SHIT! There must be a way out!" I look everywhere, only to find fire, fire and more fire. Just when I look down, I look at a manhole cover. "YES!" She crawled over to her and managed to lift her up. I breathe and sigh. Then I remove the barrier of tentacles and enter quickly, causing the blast of fire to intensify to the point of causing an explosion.

Penny landed, although she almost collapsed to the ground. Her aura levels dropped, her system is overheated. She saw the damage it caused, the whole street was melted, but a part seems quite collapsed, with a more or less good manhole cover.

"You did it well." Coco came over and helped her to her feet, although she quickly moved away from her when she felt the heat that the gynoid's body gave off. Penny nervously giggled, just when a group of huntsmen arrived along with the police. Coco smiled awkwardly as she laughed. She had said they would kill her before reinforcements arrived. Penny followed suit, though not knowing why she is laughing, as she watches Coco use her aura to heal the small burns on her hands.

Both huntresses celebrated, unaware that Tentacle Infinity is fleeing down the sewer.

And so the chapter ends. I think it was a good translation, I liked the fight scenes, along with the conversation of Penny and Coco. If I make a mistake somewhere, please tell me.

Characters that replace other OPM:

-Terra Cotta-Arc as Executive Girl: I really don't have a reason. I saw them…alike? I don't think I have a reason why Terra is taking her place.

-Sleet as Sekingar: Every time I am surprised that when reading the first chapters of the manga, characters appear that I thought had appeared later. I saw both of them similar, apart, I consider Sleet's personality more or less similar to Sekingar's. They are both professionals.

-Marrow Amin as Watchdog Man: It's a bit obvious, they are both dogs. Well, Watchdog is a guy dressed up as a dog, but they understand me.

-Sun Wukong as Heavy Kong: For some reason I related them by their biceps. Don't look at me.

-Dee and Dudley: These don't exactly replace others.

-Tentacle Infinity as Kombu Infinity: When I had my doubts about doing this chapter, I thought I was not going to put it. But when I watched the anime episode while I was writing, I became fond of her voice. (In the anime she has a female voice).

So in the end I decided to add it to the chapter. The Tentacle Grimm was chosen because I couldn't find another grimm that could use parts of her body like her kombus.

[If you didn't read Chapter 8, which was rewritten, please modify some aspects. In the end I decided to kill Celadon].

The starry night covers Penny's body. Coco had bought her another pair of clothes. Today has been an interesting day. If she is honest, at first she felt uncomfortable for not doing anything fruitful, but in the end she managed to relax.

When she entered the apartment, she found Friend Jaune already with his pajamas on and ready to sleep. She could see how part of his huntsman uniform was crumpled, lying on a chair.

"Wow, you look good." Jaune smiled at the sight of Penny, before letting out a sigh. "Uh, sorry...good night." Then he proceeded to lie down. Penny was kind and turned off the light, then went outside for a moment.

She doesn't know why, but she is smiling, along with her cheeks that had turned red.
