CHAPTER 14
JC spent the next month training all the heroes in guerilla warfare and close combat, needless to say they quickly became much better warriors. Queen Marlena even formed a special unit of palace guards to continue the training. Many though had a problem with his motto any tactic that works use it, it just seemed barbarous. D'Vann remembered his old teacher had the same motto, and it had served him well in the war against the snake-men.
At Shokoti's temple the Horde had arrived and the villainous talks had began, Horde Prime was shocked she had so much trouble with the Eternian heroes. Then again they had sent Hordak packing around thirty years ago, not to mention the time He-man and She-Ra had wrecked one of his favorite ships. He never once thought about her talk of the long haired He-man, until the day he looked out and saw his camp on fire as two men stood off in a distance. Having scanners zoom in on them Horde Prime paled seeing King Grayskull and JC, he couldn't believe King Grayskull was alive and with a rather mean looking guy just as massively built. Come to find out the two had taken out a third of the camp in one night and set it ablaze before vanishing. The fact there were reports that JC had been seen breathing fire only added to the fear the two had caused.
As the two men rode back to the palace JC laughed saying he scared the hell out of them with his trick, D'Vann asked how he breathed fire and JC said "It is all misdirection. I hold my hand to my mouth, one hand pours fuel I then spit out and the other ignites it. The fire isn't that hot, but it's flashy and intimidating."
Three days later the Heroes launch an attack on multiple fronts, Lady Tia leads a group in an assault on Shokoti's temple. Adam and D'Vann lead an attack on the Horde army, while JC and Halita go after Horde Prime. Sorceress Damani and her friends Lyn, Keltra, and Teela-Na strengthen Grayskull's defenses. Weaver and Castaspella decide to protect the palace with their magic, and Keldor leads the Gar to crush the Gorgon army supporting Shokoti.
Adam and D'Vann along with Dare, and Randor charge into the Horde camp with twenty guards trained by JC before sun up, the battle is a thing of horror and beauty as the four royal men lead the charge and carnage ensues. Stepping out of his tent Hordak is greeted with a strong left hook sending him to the ground, looking up he sees Randor glaring at him. Standing up Hordak gets another stiff punch right to the eye, This time when he looks up he is met with a boot to the nose. Hordak screams as Randor pounces on him and just starts hammering him with heavy hook punches while in the mount position, by the time Randor stops Hordak is a passed out bloody mess. Randor stands and says "That is for kidnapping my daughter you son of a bitch, when you wake up I'll give you another one for what you did to her!"
Randor moved on as Hordak only groaned. To everyone's shock Adam punched a Horde tank that got too close and sent it sailing through the air, D'Vann knew he still had the power so he wondered how Adam was so powerful. Then a smile grew on the ancient king's face as he realized Adam had awakened his own power, yes King Adam would be a fearsome warrior just like him. D'Vann decided he would not be outdone so he hit a Horde tank with a similar result, the smirk on his face was soon copied by both Adam and Dare as all three began to smash and throw things causing fear in their enemies. Randor could only laugh as many surrendered just to avoid getting hit or thrown by one of the thee blonds.
Keldor lead the Gar through some old tunnels to an opening that had the Gorgon village, using a sleep spell he put the guards asleep. The gar quickly snuck past them and encircled the village, using a flare spell Keldor signaled the attack. This had the added bonus of blinding the gorgons for a moment, which lead to Gar warriors being able to capture so many of them. Keldor himself was after Gaross their leader, the Gorgon was nearly twice the normal size and his wings allowed him to fly more than simply glide. To Keldor's shock Gaross was flying over head firing energy bolts from his magic ax at the Gar, in a Skeletor like cry of aggravation Keldor cast magic bow. A magic bow formed in his hand, when he drew it back an energy arrow formed. Keldor took careful aim and fired, it hit it's mark and Gaross was encased in ice. Seeing their leader down the Gorgon gave up, this caused Keldor to cackle like his old self.
JC and Halita where sneaking onto Horde Prime's ship, their job was to sabotage the ship, however JC was going beyond that. Halita snuck through the halls to the engine room and set several demolition packs, while JC headed for the helm to do the same. Along the way JC came across Horde Prime's elite guard, ducking behind a doorway he waited for them to pass. When the last one did JC darted out covering the guard's mouth and plunging his large knife into the guard's chest, not a sound was made and JC drug the body into the shadows. This happen four more times, in part thanks to Halita tossing a grenade in the power distribution room when they snuck on. The last two guards were the trick, JC whistled and used his bow and arrow to shoot one in the eye then threw a dagger into the other's chest. That caused the guard to turn and stagger for the alarm, but JC got to him first and reach around and snapped his neck with a muffled crack.
JC finally got to the main bridge, too bad Horde prime was next to the captain at the helm. A couple well aimed dynamite arrows wrecked the place, causing fear in all but one in the room. That is when the one that wasn't afraid got shot twice with strange arrows, that is when a voice from his past sounded. Out of the smoke walked death incarnate according to Horde Prime, the master of his greatest enemy. JC steps close and in an almost growl says "I grow sick of this, all I want is peace and you people won't let me have it. I don't ask for much just to be allowed to live in peace with some dignity and respect, but not even my own people let me have that. Now you want a war, I'll give you a war you won't believe. Next time I say it so nice!"
JC turns and starts to leave when Horde Prime goes to shoot him in the back, until JC spins and fires his last shot from his colt 45. The leader of the Horde falls to the floor dead. JC smirks and says "What is this an 80's movie? The villain always does that."
NOTE sorry it got a little brutal there folks but JC is not being nice today. That takes care of everything except Shokoti and Teela's team along with the aftermath, all this in the next and FINAL chapter. PLEASE LEAVE A REVIEW. UNTIL NEXT TIME... STAYN SAFE OUT THERE... AND... HAVE A NICE DAY! :)
