Chapter 15: I Feel Accomplished
A.N. – Hey guysss. I just want to let you guys know that the texts from Puck will be bold and Parker's will just be italicized so hopefully it isn't too confusing.
School is going pretty well, I'm not sure if you guys are still in school (whether it be highschool, uni, etc) or not but whatever you're doing, I hope it's not too stressful. Also, I forgot for a second that Parker was the name of the boy in the epilogue so he doesn't have any connection to the boy this this fic.

Puck sat in the parking lot of the dealership and tried to control his excitement. This wasn't a prank but he was going to be messing with someone so that would be good enough. It had taken a lot of bargaining but he had managed to convince Grimm to exchange phones with him. Now, he just had to wait for this "Parker" fellow to text Grimm.
This phone buzzed from the seat next to him and Puck snatched it quickly. It read: How come you're late?
Puck typed out what?
You aren't at school yet
how would u know
Are you getting a new car? Is that why you aren't at school?
what makes you think I'm getting a new car
I saw you at the dealership
it isnt near the school tho
I happened to be in the area and I saw you there alone
You should be careful
Maybe ask me to come next time
Puck put down the phone. This confirmed his suspicion that Parker had to be stalking Sabrina somehow. He wasn't physically following her because then he would've known that she wasn't alone. She and Jake have been attached at the hip while they were looking at cars. So, he had to be tracking her with something.
It could something on her body. No, it couldn't be on her body. It would come off when she changes or showers. What if it's a spell? Nah, Parker is supposed to be a dumb human. He doesn't know about magic. All Puck has to do is think. The Old Lady solves mysteries all the time, he could solve this too.
He stepped out of the car and walked around. What do humans use to follow people? In those cool spy movies, they have drones and bugs and cameras. Wait, maybe her car is bugged. Puck tore the door open and hurriedly looked around inside the car. They were so many places where the tiny device could be hiding.
Was it waterproof? Maybe he could just drive the car into a pond and the device would be ruined. Grimm would kill him if it ruined her car though. Magic could fix it though. Ugh, but she would still be mad at him. Puck pulled out Grimm's phone and couldn't help but roll his eyes at the texts from Parker. He scrolled through the saved numbers and pressed the contact he wanted to call.
It rang a couple times before he heard a muffled, "Hello?"
Puck grinned, "Marshmallow, you wanna help me with something?"

Daphne scurried in the direction of the library and hoped she hadn't wasted too much time in the office. Puck was lucky he had called her just as her teacher had stepped out to get something from another class. His plan was so gravy and she was so excited that he included her. It had just sucked that she had to wait until lunch to do it.
Puck had told her that Parker would be in the library and all she had to do was convince him to help her find Sabrina. She entered the library and looked around but froze when she saw Parker sitting with some people. She didn't want to do this with other people right there.
Okay, all she had to do was look helpless and Parker would come and try to help her. He was a decent guy and he was also obsessed with her sister so he would have to come and talk to her. He had to. She didn't know what else to do if this didn't work.
She walked over to the table next to Parker and made sure she was sitting where he had to see her. She pulled up her notes app and began typing furiously. She looked up, pretended to look around the library, and then looked back at her phone. She put the most confused expression on her face and hoped it look realistic enough to make him come to her table. She looked up again and made sure that she made eye contact with him. He opened his mouth to ask her something but she turned away before he could try to say anything. She looked at the door and then began typing more gibberish on her phone.
She held her breath when the chair across from her was pulled back and someone sat down, "Are you okay?"
Thank god it was Parker. This would've been weird if it was someone else. She looked up and hoped that she looked just as confused as before, "I'm not sure where Sabrina is. Have you seen her?"
Parker shook his head, "No, I haven't seen her. Did she drive you guys to school today?"
"I had to come earlier than normal so my dad brought me."
"Should we go to her? Do you think something's wrong?"
"I wouldn't even know where to look."
Parker looked torn for a second and Daphne began to feel scared that this wouldn't work out the way she imagined it would.
"I can find her. Let's go."
Daphne smiled and nodded. She followed him as he walked out of the library and walked out to the parking lot. She wondered how they were going to get to Sabrina and decided to ask him because he seemed too focused on his phone to think about this properly.
"Do you think Sabrina is nearby? Are we going to walk there?"
Parker stopped walking, "No, she's like a 40 minute walk away. It'll be faster if we drive. We need a car."
"I can ask Luke if he brought his car, he might be okay if we borrow it. Do you have your driver's license?"
"Yeah, I do."
"I'll ask him."

Puck grinned when he saw a car pull up in the park that he was waiting in. He sat on the bench and watched as the car was parked and they left the car. He could see Daphne trying to fight back a smile and she and Parker walked over to him. Parker's expression changed from worried to confused and Puck couldn't contain his smirk. He stood up as they got closer, "You guys looking for someone?"
Parker frowned, "Yeah, have you seen a blonde girl anywhere here? She might've been driving that car." Parker turned around and pointed to Sabrina's car.
"Well, I'm blonde but I'm definitely not a girl."
Parker looked more confused, if that was even possible, "What?"
Puck rolled his eyes, "I drove that car here."
"That's car isn't yours."
"I never said it was. I just said I drove it here."
"How do you have it? Daphne, do you know this guy?"
Daphne sheepishly nodded, "Well, yeah actually. He's a friend."
"So, what's this all about?"
Puck grabbed something from the bench and tossed it to the younger girl, "Here's some grain."
Daphne smiled eagerly down at the bag and walked away without a word.
Parker opened his mouth but Puck interrupted before he could say anything, "She's going to feed the ducks."
"And what are we going to do?"
"We," Puck smiled mischievously, "are going to have a little chat."
Parker nervously glanced around, "About what?"
"About how you've been able to track Grimm. I would enjoy how much it's freaking her out except it's creepy. And I don't like creeps."
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
"Really? Then how exactly did you get here? I would love to know."
"I don't have to explain anything to you."
Puck's eyes swiftly changed colours and he took a step towards Parker, "Now, you listen here. I didn't do anything that would humiliate you at school because I knew Grimm would get upset. I'm not punching the information out of you right now because Daphne shouldn't have to come back and see you bleeding out on this lovely ground. But if you don't start explaining yourself then I won't be as considerate."
Parker gulped. Did this guy's eyes turn black? That's impossible. He had to be seeing things. God, he could feel the danger rolling off of this guy. It made him feel like he was drowning. He turned around and headed to where the cars were parked. Before he could take a second step, he felt a hand grasp his shirt and hold him in place and the heard the guy say, "Where do you think you're going?"
Parker shakily replied, "I'm going to Sabrina's car."
"And you'll show me where the device is?"
Parker nodded his head and felt the hand release his shirt. He continued towards the car and stopped at the rear of the car. He bent down and struggled to removed the device that was attached on the underside of the car, near the exhaust.
When he finally got it off, he gave it to the guy standing next to him, "I just wanted to hang out with her and convince her to go to the dance with me. I was hoping if I knew where she was then I could show up in the same place and pretend like it was a coincidence. But then she went away for the weekend and she was with Bella or Madison or Luke or someone. And it just never worked out properly."
"Why didn't you just talk to her while you guys where at school?"
"I did. I tried to get her to go to the dance with me a bunch of times but she kept saying no. At first, she was going with Luke, but they're just friends so why couldn't she go with me? They would see each other at the dance anyway but she could've done all the typical couple stuff with me."
"Typical couple stuff?"
Parker shrugged, "Yeah, like matching outfits and slow dances. Go off and do our own thing, away from everyone else."
"So, she rejected you multiple times and you still didn't take the hint?"
"Luke and her aren't going together anymore because she decided to take someone else. If that guy can convince her, why can't I?"
Puck dropped the device onto the ground and smashed it with his foot, "I'm that guy. So, back off. And, if you ever try and do anything like this again, I won't be as nice. I don't just mean stalking her. If you do anything to make her uncomfortable, I will make you regret it."
"Yeah, okay dude."
"I don't think you understand me. Sabrina isn't rude to you because you're her friend and she doesn't want to hurt you. I, however, couldn't care less about you. I don't know you and I don't want to know you. So, if you continue to annoy her then I'll annoy you. But in a less friendly way."
Parker nodded and Puck continued, "You can drive back to school now. We're done here."
"What about Daphne?"
"I'll drive her back."
Parker got into the car and Puck watched as it left. Once it was out of sight, he called out, "MARSHMALLOW, I KNOW YOU'RE AROUND HERE."
There was a ruffling sound and she emerged from the bushes, grinning broadly.
"Sabrina won't be happy that you scared him like that."
"Grimm, should be thanking me for making all of this easier."
"I heard you use her actual name when you were talking to him. I can't wait to tell her."
Puck scowled, "You're not going to tell her that."
Daphne continued grinning, "You can't stop me. Come let's feed the ducks, I didn't get to because I was too busy listening to you guys. Also, I told the office at school that I had a doctor's appointment and would be missing the rest of school so can we go get food after this."
"Don't they need to talk to your parents or something?"
"I faked a note from mom."
"Fine, but only because I feel accomplished. If your parents get mad then you're taking all the blame."
Daphne pouted, "That doesn't sound like fun."
Puck snatched the bag of grain from her, "That's not my problem," and ran off towards the pond.
Daphne giggled and chased after him, hoping that her parents and sister wouldn't be too mad when they found out what happened today.
