Going down into the Temple they quickly found where the Crechemaster was waiting for them. Sahl was still holding tightly to Cody's arm and when she did not speak he did. Nodding to the Twi'lek, "General Karyme, I'm Commander Cody."
Smiling at him she answered, "It is a pleasure to meet you Cody, but I am not a General. I spend all of my time with the Younglings here."
That explained why he hadn't heard anything about her from his brothers and why everyone wanted to know why he was asking. He hadn't told them. Answering the Jedi, "Sahl has some questions about what happened."
Bowing her head gracefully and sending her lekku swinging the Twi'lek Jedi responded, "I will answer what I can."
Sahl was half behind her Master and Cody whose arm she squeezed hard while clinging to him. So he continued, "Do you remember why the Dark Woman wanted Sahl? Or anything about the night that she was taking?"
The Crechemaster looked sadly at the hiding teen before answering, "No I really don't. I barely remember the Dark Woman being in the Temple."
General Kenobi spoke sharply, "Not even what you ate?" The Twi'lek shook her head so he continued, "The younglings?"
"Nothing concrete. Just pieces of memories." Tilting her head to one side with her lekku swinging, "There seemed to be…" but her gaze moved from Sahl and the Twi'leks eyes glazed over. Then she told them exactly what she did that night.
Cody noticed that Sahls face had fallen and made their excuses after thanking the Crehemaster. Pulling Sahl with him, he lead her to the barracks where the 212th were staying while they were on leave. Surrounded by the men of their battalion again Sahl started to relax.
General Kenobi stayed with them long enough to make sure that she would be fine before reporting the incident to the Council. Sahl stayed next to Cody talking and laughing with the men. When they decided to play Poker around the place with some of the other companies she sat back to watch. Well, until Waxer convinced her to come into a game with him, Boil and Corric which was mostly teaching Sahl how to play.
Cody was keeping a close eye on her and the interactions between the 212th and the Wolfpack when his fellow Commander approached him, "Whats with the kid?" Wolffe asked bluntly.
"Sahl is my Generals new Padawan." Looking over to see the scarred right half of his brothers face with the white cybernetic eye, "Her first master treated her as badly as the Longnecks if not worse, so my General decided to take her."
Understanding came onto Wolffe's face, "Is that why you were asking about that other Jedi?" Cody nodded. Wolffe barked, "Explain." And Cody did, when he finished Wolffe growled deep in his throat looking ready to bite.
Squeezing his shoulder Cody spoke, "Stop that, you'll scare the kid." Seeing his brother was back in the present, "Do you want to meet her?"
Wolffe gave a quick nod and followed Cody to where Sahl was playing. Seeing Cody she spoke up, "Codes, I don't understand. Why does just one high card make an otherwise low card hand?"
Cody sat down next to her and explained patiently. After he was finished and answered all of her resulting questions he stood up again, "Sahl, this is Commander Wolffe."
Immediately coming to attention she bowed to Wolffe, "Its and honor to meet you Mas- Commander." She blushed at the slight sniger behind her (Cody shot a glare towards the culprit) and looked up at Wolffe, "I though that you would prefer Commander to Master like Cody."
Wolffe nodded, "That's right. Thank you Sahl." Then he extended a hand. She looked at it and then at Cody as if wanting to know what to do.
Stifling a sigh, "He wants to shake hands which is acceptable even encourage."
Nodding slowly and carefully filing that information for later discussion Sahl reached out and clasped Wolffe's hand. He looked slightly down at her smaller height, "Have you ever shaken hands before?"
She shook her head, "The Dark Woman didn't permit it."
Wolffe tilted his head slightly to one side, "What other things did she not permit?" Sahl took a deep breath before starting. It was a long list.
