Chapter 16: This is Still a Simpsons fanfic.
Her name was Sasha. She was in her 20's and had joined Roseanne's entourage just last year. She didn't have a harrowing story about sexism or anything like that. She just agreed with most of Roseanne's ideologies and with the empowerment and support she gained from the other feminist, she was able to open a flower shop. It wasn't a big shop, just a quaint little place that sold tulips and roses and the like. It had discounts around the times of Valentine's day and Mother's day and most shops did. All in all, it wasn't a shop that stood out much.
For that reason, Sasha cursed her sheer bad luck when, out of nowhere, a 1973 Plymouth Valiant crashed right through her display window, totally annihilating every flower that had the misfortune of being arranged there that morning.
Thankfully, Sasha was too far away to be harmed but was still frozen in shock long enough for the occupants of the car to climb out and show themselves. First was a balding fat man who came from the driver's seat and so was to blame for the damages, then a woman with outdated hair that caused her to dwarf her husband in height. She carried a baby with her whose hair reminded Sasha of Lisa. Perhaps this was her family? Finally a boy with a similar hair scheme to the baby and Lisa popped out from the back.
"Homie!" The woman shouted. "You need to watch where you're going!"
The husband just scoffed. "Must you say that every time I crash into public property?"
"Um, excuse me?" The family turned their attention to Sasha who approached them while fidgeting. "C-Can I help you?"
"We're looking for this girl." The boy stated, jumping straight into the point. He pulled out his Mypad and presented Sasha with the article of Roseanne's recent speech. Lisa was on the front page. "Have you seen her?" The boy asked.
"Why yes I have?" Sasha beamed. "She went with Roseanne and some others to a campground not far from here. Camp Nature Valley I think it's called.
'Do'h!" The man shouted. "Now we have to drive all the way over there!"
"Stop complaining and get in the car!" The wife demanded. The whole family climbed back inside the car and drove off, leaving Sasha alone with her now destroyed store.
Sasha stood there, dumfounded by what had just happened. Sadly, she began to sing. "The summer wind...came blowing in...from across the sea."
(Short chapter is short.)
