Author's Note: Ok, I need some help. Spoiler alert-This story is following the True Pacifist Run, and as far as I know, you can only get the True Ending by completing a Neutral Run first, with some other requirements met. Should I include the Neutral ending in this story? I kind of have a plan of how that'll play out, but it'll include a bit of a spoiler for an event that happens after the story, and the story will be longer. The True Ending is happening regardless, but I'm just not sure if the Neutral Ending should be in the story. What do you guys think? Should the story be longer? It's already gonna be pretty long. Let me know what you want by leaving a review. And with that long note, it's time for the chapter.

Yellow and Chuchu walked into Waterfall, with Kirlia in tow. They stopped when they heard a voice.

"Yo!"

Yellow turned to see the source of the voice. It was the young monster that had welcomed Yellow and Chuchu to Snowdin earlier.

"Hi." Yellow greeted. "What's up?"

"Are you sneaking out to see her too?" The monster asked.

"Her?" Yellow thought.

"He means Undyne." Kirlia whispered.

"Oh, yeah. I definitely came to see her." Yellow responded.

"Awesome…" The young monster replied. "She's the coolest, right?! I wanna be just like her when I grow up… Hey, don't tell my parents that I'm here."

Yellow nodded. She then saw Sans sitting at a post that looked identical to the one she saw in the forest. She also noticed a Save Star, so she saved.

The sound of rushing water fills you with determination.

Yellow approached Sans.

"Excuse me sir, I believe this little one belongs to you." Yellow said, gesturing to Kirlia.

"thanks." Sans said

"So, what are you doing here?" Yellow asked.

"what? haven't you seen a guy with two jobs before?" Sans asked.

"Touche." Yellow replied.

Sans chuckled. "fortunately, two jobs means twice as legally-required breaks. i'm going to grillby's. wanna come?"

Yellow's stomach suddenly growled.

Sans chuckled again. "i'll take that as a yes. come on. i know a shortcut."

Sans started to lead Yellow in the wrong direction.

"Uh Sans?" Yellow said. "Isn't Grillby's back there?"

"trust me." Sans replied. "i know what i'm doing."

Suddenly, Yellow found herself in Grillby's. She had no idea how they got there so quickly.

"fast shortcut, huh?" Sans asked.

"Y-Yeah." Yellow replied, still a bit shocked. "Very fast."

"hey, everyone." Sans greeted the other customers.

The other member of the Royal Guard, which Yellow had fought earlier, greeted him. So did a guy with a huge mouth, filled with huge teeth. He was also greeted by a bunny that clearly had too much to drink.

He then led Yellow to a booth, where a fire person in a suit stood behind, cleaning a glass. Sitting on the stools by the counter were two bird-like monsters, and a horse-like monster wearing sunglasses.

One of the birds spoke. "Hey Sans, weren't you just in here for breakfast just a few minutes ago?"

"nah, i haven't had breakfast in at least a half hour." Sans replied. "you must be thinking of brunch."

Everyone laughed, including Yellow.

"here, get comfy." Sans told Yellow.

Yellow sat down on a stool, only to be met with a farting noise. She then realized she had sat on a whoopie cushion. She turned to Sans. "Really?"

"it wasn't me." He said. "sometimes weirdos put whoopie cushions on the seats."

Yellow rolled her eyes. "Yeah right."

"anyway, let's order." Sans said, changing the subject. "whaddya want, burger or fries?"

"Hmm, how about a burger?" Yellow replied.

"Excellent choice!" Kirlia said. "The burgers here are really good."

"Better than Papyrus's spaghetti, right Chuchu?" Yellow said to Chuchu, who nodded.

"grillby." Sans said. "we'll have a double order of burg."

"Burg?" Yellow asked.

"Burger." Kirlia replied.

Grillby went into the back room to prepare the food.

Sans spoke. "so, what do you think of papyrus?"

"He's super cool!" Yellow exclaimed.

"of course he's cool." Sans said. "you'd be cool too if you wore that outfit every day. he'd only take that thing off if he absolutely had to. oh well. at least he washes it."

"And by washing it, he just wears it in the shower." Kirlia added.

Grillby walked back out and handed Yellow and Sans their food.

"Oh boy! I'm starving." Yellow exclaimed.

"Pika!" Chuchu cheered.

"want some ketchup?" Sans asked, offering Yellow a bottle of ketchup.

"Sure." Yellow responded.

"bone appetit." Sans punned. Yellow giggled.

Yellow tried to put some ketchup on her burger, but the cap fell off, and all the ketchup went on her burger.

"Oops." She said.

"don't worry about it." Sans said. "you can have mine. i'm not hungry anyway."

"Oh no it's ok." Yellow said. "I can still eat this."

"In that case." Kirlia said, reaching for Sans's burger.

Sans then started drinking from a ketchup bottle. Yellow and Chuchu stared at him.

"Don't ask." Kirlia said.

Yellow giggled. "You remind me of my friend Ash's Pikachu. He loves to drink ketchup."

"Wow, another ketchup lover." Kirlia said.

Sans continued the original topic. "anyway, cool or not, you have to agree that papyrus tries really hard. like how he keeps trying to be part of the royal guard. one day, he went to the house of the head of the royal guard, and begged her to let him be in it. of course, she shut the door on him because it was midnight."

Yellow giggled as Sans continued. "but the next day, she woke up and saw him still waiting there. seeing his dedication, she decided to give him warrior training. it's, uh, still a work in progress."

Yellow took a bite of her burger and cringed. "Ugh. Too much ketchup."

"oh yeah." Sans said. "i wanted to ask you something."

"What is it?" Yellow asked.

Suddenly, everything around them froze, and the lights dimmed. It was almost as if time itself had stopped.

"have you ever heard of a talking flower?" Sans asked.

"You couldn't be talking about what I think you're talking about, could you?" Yellow asked, clearly shocked.

"so you know all about it." Sans stated. Yellow gulped. "the echo flower."

"Oh, a different flower." Yellow thought.

Sans continued. "they're all over the marsh. if you say something to them, they'll repeat it over and over."

"What's this gotta do with anything?" Yellow asked.

"well," Sans said. "Papyrus told kirlia and i something interesting the other day. sometimes, when no one else is around… a flower appears and whispers things to him, such as flattery, advice, encouragement… predictions. weird, huh?"

"That doesn't sound like Flowey." Yellow thought.

Sans continued. "someone must be using an echo flower to play a trick on him."

"Maybe." Yellow said.

Time resumed.

"keep an eye out, ok?" Sans said.

Yellow gave him a thumbs up. Sans got up and thanked her.

"welp, that was a long break." Sans admitted. "i can't believe i let you pull me away from work for that long."

"Hey, you were the one that invited me here." Yellow said.

"by the way," Sans added. "i'm flat broke. you got any money on you?"

"I think I have some Pokedollars." Yellow said. "But I don't think they'll do any good down here."

"that's ok." Sans said. "grillby, put it on my tab."

He and Kirlia then walked out.

Yellow and Chuchu waved. "Bye Sans! Thanks so much for the meal!"

The pair walked out of the restaurant, and towards Waterfall. They've already been delayed twice, and now their journey continues!
