Hello everyone. Enjoy the chapter!

"Is zere any meaning behind what you're saying, sir?" Gabrielle found herself asking.

"Given what I just told Harry, the fact that your wands share the same wood suggests a strong connection of the heart between you two," Mr. Ollivander explained. "Tell me, how long have you two known each other?"

Harry looked back at Gabrielle and shook his head. "We actually just met today, sir," he answered.

"Curious. Very curious indeed," Mr. Ollivander said again. "In truth, I'm not sure then what the meaning behind this occurrence is."

"You don't think it's anything bad, do you?" Bernard Delacour asked Mr. Ollivander.

Mr. Ollivander shook his head. "Oh, not at all. The only way this would've been a bad thing is if either Mr. Potter or Ms. Gabrielle were someone evil. And I don't believe that's the case; both of them are some of the most polite kids their age I've ever met."

Bernard sighed in relief and calmed down a bit.

"Now, Harry," Mr. Ollivander said, getting his attention once more. "While the news regarding your wand's wood isn't anything bad, there is still one other thing you should know about your wand. And this news I don't believe you'll take so kindly to."

If Harry was nervous now, he did his best not to show it. Regardless, he nodded for Mr. Ollivander to continue.

"Okay. I've already told you that it is the heart in which the wood of a wand uses to connect to its master," Mr. Ollivander began. "But it is the soul in which the core of a wand uses to connect to its master. And it pains me to say that the feather in your wand came from a phoenix that gave one other feather. And this feather was used... to make the wand that gave you that scar."

Harry's face paled and Gabrielle let out a gasp, clasping her hand over her mouth. She quickly turned to Harry, obviously worried about how he would react.

This was rather startling news indeed.

Author's note: Just a friendly reminder that Gabrielle is not confirmed to be the one to get together with Harry. She's just one of the possible candidates.
