Bayley's P.O.V.
I'm now 33 weeks pregnant. Eight months with our little girl, and I'm finally getting myself mentally ready for this baby. For the next few days I will be preparing for Rawlings. Taylor has been working over time ever since our scare a week ago. I will be cleaning, organizing and putting away her clothes. I will also be making sure we have everything for our daughter. My life will change in the next few weeks. I'm scared to have her, but I'm seven weeks away from giving birth, so I have to put my big girl pants on and deal with the last few weeks of my pregnancy. I wasn't looking forward to going to school for the next two weeks. My doctor wants me to go on bed rest at 35 weeks pregnant. I can't believe I'll be nine months pregnant in three weeks. Time is just flying for me and Taylor.
I got out of the shower, dried myself off and then blow dried my hair while I had the towel around myself. I walked out of the bathroom and then headed into my room to change into my outfit for the day.
I changed into a white sweater dress with a black belt around the top of my stomach and knee high boots and I curled my blonde hair. After I was done getting ready, I got my bag and then I headed downstairs. I saw my mom making breakfast.
"Good morning, Mom."
My mom, Ava, smiled at me. "Good morning, sweetie. How are you feeling? How did you sleep last night?"
I laughed softly, shaking my head. "Not really. Very uncomfortable. My back hurt so much."
Mom frowned. "Oh, I'm sorry, honey."
I ate my eggs and then looked at her again. "Did you not get any sleep when you were pregnant?"
Mom nodded. "Oh, yes, I did."
A few minutes later, I heard a car horn, and my phone beeped. I opened my phone, went to messages and I saw a text message from Taylor.
Taylor; I'm outside. Is Brayden ready?"
Bayley; Coming, and yes. I'll get Brayden."
I got Brayden and we headed out to Taylor's car and I got in slowly. "I feel like a freaking watermelon right now."
Taylor looked at me, he was now driving to school and he frowned. "You look beautiful, sweetheart. Trust me."
Brayden gagged. "Do I have to hear this?"
I rolled my eyes. "Brayden, Jesus, it's not like you've seen two people do this..."
Brayden rolled his eyes this time. "Whatever you say."
Fenway High School, Boston, Massachusetts
Bayley's P.O.V.
When we arrived at school, I grabbed my bag and my purse and slowly got out of Taylor's car, with his help, of course. I groaned as I looked at him. "Thank you."
"You're welcome, Bay." He said, smiling at me. We headed into the school. What I wasn't expecting was everyone staring at me. They were just staring- my eight month pregnant belly, that's what they were staring at. It is starting to get annoying! Has anyone ever seen a pregnant teenager? No? Ugh, I can't believe this...
I walked to my locker and opened it, putting my books in there and then grabbing my homeroom books and then put my snacks into my locker as well. I was now eating every 2-3 hours. I've gained about 30 pounds since I've gotten pregnant. Ugh, I feel so gross. I'm just pregnant.
Gina ran over to me, wrapped her arms around me. "Oh my goodness! I missed you over break!"
I laughed. "I missed you too."
Val soon followed after her and hugged me too. "How did the court date go?"
I sighed. "Well, Zoey isn't going to school here anymore and I started having baxton hicks contractions so I have to be mindful about that..."
"Is the baby okay?" Eva asked.
I nodded my head. "She's fine."
"How can you tell between false and real contractions?" Val asked me.
I shut my locker and rubbed my belly. "I have to just put my feet up and drink water."
Val nodded. "Okay."
The bell rings, and we go our separate ways until History. I walked into the room and got comfortable on the ball. I sigh deeply as I start writing what is on the board. I continued the class, and after the class, I was about to walk out when my teacher, Mrs. Wilson looked at me.
"Bayley? Can I talk to you for a minute?"
I nodded my head, walking over to her teacher and smiled slightly. "Sure, Mrs. Wilson. Is everything okay?"
Mrs. Wilson smiled, laughing softly. "Oh, everything is fine. I know you are only staying for two more weeks of school, right?"
I nodded my head. "Yes, I will be going onto bed rest on January 7th. I will be heading back to school for the two days after Christmas break. I have my 33 week appointment today after school."
Mrs. Wilson smiled. "That's good. Your other teachers and the principal and myself will be having you and Taylor come up with a plan on how long you're staying home and everything."
I nodded my head. "I will be talking to my doctor about the school plan as well..."
Mrs. Wilson kept smiling. "I will be happy to give your brother everything we'll be working on while you're at home with the baby."
"That would be great! Thank you." I say.
Mrs. Wilson smiled. "Do you know what you're having? Any names?"
I smiled brightly. "It's a girl. Her name is going to be Rawlings."
Mrs. Wilson smiled again. "Oh, I love that name. It's beautiful. Now, let me get you a pass so you don't miss Tech class..."
After she signed the note, I headed over to my tech class, where Taylor was working on his laptop. I headed into the room and sat down on the ball, again. Taylor turned to me.
"Hey baby. How are you feeling?"
"Tired already. I can't wait for today to be over with..." I groan as I bounce on the ball. "How's our project going?"
Taylor smiled. "I'm doing well. You just relax and I'll do it."
I sighed. "Can I take you with me to my next 6 classes?"
He laughs, sighing. "I wish I could, baby, but I can't."
"Fine..." I say, continuing to bounce on the ball. I'm too big to fit in the seats because I'm eight months pregnant.

Later that day after school, Taylor and I headed to my doctor's appointment. We are waiting to be called back.
The nurse spoke up as she opened the door. "Bayley Kingston?"
Bayley slowly stood up and Taylor followed close behind me.
"How are you doing, Bayley?" Nurse Lili asked me as we walked into the room.
"I'm good." I say, as Taylor helps me sit on the bed. A few minutes later, my doctor, Dr. Jackson walked into the room and closed the door behind her. "Hi guys. How are you doing, Bayley?" She asked me as she sat down on her seat.
I chuckle a little. "You know, uncomfortable everyday, my back and feet hurt everyday, sleeping is a distant memory and well, feeling okay otherwise."
Dr. Jackson nodded. "Well, that's normal. You are eight months pregnant. Now, let's check on the baby." She got the ultrasound machine, picked up the gel and put it onto my belly and moved the wand around. She started checking up on Rawlings and her growth. "Everything looks great. Baby is 3 pounds at this moment. Now if you gain a pound each week by your 36th week, I'll want to have you have her on January 14th. I want to schedule a c section for that day. The baby would be around 6 pounds."
I nodded slowly. "Okay, so what about school? How will that play out?"
Dr. Jackson smiled. "Well, as you know, I want you to be on bed rest at 35 weeks so you can relax before giving birth. You will have to take 8 weeks off of school because of the recovery."
I nodded. "Okay, I can do that."
Dr. Jackson smiled. "Alright. I'll see you two next week." She says, printing the pictures.
I nodded my head. "Okay. Thank you."
Dr. Jackson smiled. "You're welcome."
°°°
After the appointment, we headed back to my parent's house. When we got inside, my mom smiled at me.
"How did the appointment go?"
I smiled. "Really good!" I handed her the ultrasound picture.
Mom smiled. "Oh my goodness! She looks just like Taylor!"
I smiled. "I know right?! Oh, my. I can't wait to see her."
Taylor smiled. "Me too, baby girl. We are excited to meet her in person..."
Dad looked at me. "So, what did the doctor say?"
I sat down on the couch. "She wants me to go into the hospital on January 14th and she scheduled a c section for that day."
Mom's eyes went wide. "Oh my goodness! That's three weeks away...Oh!" She began running around the house after hearing that.
I sighed, now trying to keep myself from freaking out. "I know, Mom. I'm doing a lot of cleaning, organizing and prepare for her to come. I promise..."
Mom took a deep breath. "Okay, we'll start preparing for her." She began to calm herself down. "We'll get everything done before then."
I nod as I stand up again and I head upstairs to Rawlings's nursery, took her clothes that were in bins and wrapped up. Taylor saw me opening the wrapping paper, bins and boxes which all of the clothes were in.
"Do you want any help, Bay?" I hear Taylor say as he walks into our daughter's nursery and walks over to me.
"Yes, please. Can you the laundry baskets and we can get started on washing all of these clothes..."
Taylor nodded. "Of course, Bay." He said, smiling and then grabbed the baskets and I threw in some of the clothes 0 to 3 months.
This is happening. Three more weeks until I'm a mother at 16. This is overwhelming. Am I ready for having a c section? The recovery? Oh my God. Don't start thinking about that now...but...but I have to. I'm three weeks away from going from a teenager with Cerebral Palsy to a teenage mother who has Cerebral Palsy. Oh, now don't start thinking about that! You'll flip out on someone.
4 hours and 4 loads of laundry later, I was finishing folding all of the clothes and putting them away. After I did that, I headed into my room and saw the most amazing thing. Taylor was putting Rawlings's bassinet together and my heart was bursting with love for this man.
He sensed me behind him. He smiled deeply as he turned to face me. "Hey beautiful."
I smiled back. "Hi. I see you put her bassinet together. Thank you."
He smiles as he walked over to me. "What do you think?"
My smile widened and so did my heart. "I love it. Do you think we're ready?"
Taylor nodded his head. "I think so. Now, she just has to make her grand arrival."
I smiled as I rubbed my eight month pregnant belly. "We can do this."
"I'll be here for you." Taylor says, as he lays a hand on my belly and rubbed my stomach. "I can't wait to be her daddy."
I smiled and giggled. "I can't wait to be her mommy." I place my hand over his and we just stare at my belly for a moment. I'll cherish these moments forever.
