It had now been seven months since Kara and Lena had really been reunited. Enjoying their love for each other, loving each other passionately with a love without a name. Their happiness literally radiated from the rooms they walked into, even though they had decided not to tell anyone about their relationship. Only Sam knew about it, even Alex, Kara's sister, didn't know about it. Or rather, no one had dared to tell them, everyone thought they would talk when they were ready, because in reality, everyone close to the two women had guessed a long time ago the nature of the relationship between the two women.

One morning, Lena was awakened by the smell of burning. She had spent the night at Kara's house and Kara, not to change anything, had wanted to make breakfast for her beautiful, and of course, had burned everything again. Despairing herself of never getting anywhere in the kitchen.

Lena, who had been awakened by the smell, emerged slowly, stretching all the way into bed, and then decided to put on a bathrobe to join her beautiful.

When she saw her struggling with the burnt toast, she couldn't help but smile blissfully at the sight of her companion, finding her more beautiful every day than the day before.

She then approached Kara who, on seeing Lena, smiled a big smile, a little ashamed to have STILL missed everything. Then Lena wrapped her arms around the Kryptonian and put her head in the hollow of Kara's neck. Kara in turn took Lena in her arms and held her tightly against her body. They stayed like that for a long time, neither of them wanting to break the contact of the so pleasant feeling of feeling loved by the other.

Then Kara moved her head slightly away from Lena's body, looking her straight in the eyes without saying a word, caressed her cheek tenderly with the back of her hand, and finally told Lena that she didn't want to hide anymore. She wanted the whole world to know that they loved each other.

She wanted to share her happiness, not to live in hiding, to walk down the street hand in hand, to be able to kiss her when she felt like it, and most of all, she wanted to love Lena in the open. For Kara, Lena was the most beautiful woman on earth, she was madly in love with her and she wanted everyone to finally know it.

Lena was moved by her companion's speech, and of course she agreed. She too dreamed of being able to reveal the feelings she shared with Kara, the girl of steel, the woman who had been making her heart beat for years.

Lena tenderly kissed the lips of her companion, it was not about passion, just about love between two people who loved each other more than life itself.

They finished their breakfast together, none of them speaking, their play of glances and smiles were enough to talk to each other without uttering a single word.

Then Lena had an idea. There was a party that evening in honor of the newspaper, to reward it for its commitment against the underworld. So she asked Kara to come with her, to be her date and also asked her to invite her sister and her parents. Tonight was the perfect opportunity to tell their loved ones that they loved each other that they were no longer hearts to take.

Kara was thrilled with the businesswoman's idea. But to be honest, she was a little stressed about having to tell her family. They had been in hiding for so long that she felt like she had to tell her parents something very stupid.

Seeing that the stress of the woman she loved was starting to build up inside her, Lena took Kara in her arms, whispering sweet words in her ear while assuring her that everything would go well, that she was there for her and that she would always be there to support her in good times and bad.

Kara felt a heat wave coming over her, and she couldn't tell exactly if it was due to stress or the proximity of their bodies. It is likely that it was a bit of both. In spite of the years, in spite of the time and the separation they had lived through, Lena still had an effect on her, never the devouring passion she felt for her had left her, and the reverse was also true.

Kara went to the WD to tell her sister and parents that they were invited to a party that evening and that their presence was non-negotiable as she had something to announce. Lena had to go back to Cat&Co to warn Sam, who had also become her friend, who had often arranged alibis for her during her meetings with Kara. She also had to warn all the people at Cat&Co, who were of course invited.

Kara's parents were astonished by their daughter's invitation, but lately, having seen very little of her, they agreed to come with pleasure.

Alex, on the other hand, was already getting impatient, as she hadn't seen much of her sister lately either, and she promised to come with Maggie.

Kara went home alone around 7pm. The evening, as for her, took place at 8 pm.

She made it a point of honor to make herself as beautiful as possible. She wanted to impress Lena. And therefore she had chosen a beautiful black dress with an indented side, showing her beautiful legs that fit her body perfectly and had a vertiginous neckline. Her long wavy hair was perfect, passing her hair on the side of her right shoulder, giving her a radiant and majestic look.

Lena, on the other hand, was also getting ready for her side, and chose a white dress with an indented waist almost identical to Kara's, even though they didn't consult each other to find out what the other was going to wear. Both women wanted the surprise of discovering the other with a languorous and loving look.

It was now eight o'clock in the evening. The evening had just begun. A dais was standing at the far end of the reception hall to welcome a DJ playing background music.

Kara's parents arrived first, followed closely by Alex and Maggie, then Sam who arrived right behind them, surprising them with a pat on the back that almost made them lose their balance because of their pumps. This made Sam smile, always very comfortable embarrassing people.

Then Kara arrived in her turn, turning an incredible number of eyes on her as she radiated the room when she entered. She went to say hello to her parents and to Alex, Maggie and Sam and then her eyes were drawn to something else.

Lena had just returned as well. When Kara saw Lena dressed like this, she swallowed and an indefinable warmth ran through her body. She was suddenly hot, very hot and her face was at least as red as the sky is blue.

So she went to meet her and gave her a kiss on the cheek to greet her while whispering in her ear:

If Lena Luthor wanted to make an impression on Kara Danvers, she did it, I think I've never been as hot in my life as I was at that moment

Lena smiled and returned the compliment, biting her lips at Kara's radiant beauty.

However, Lena let Kara go back to her parents to talk business with some people. She promised to join her later that evening.

Many journalists were also present for the evening, as they were responsible for the media coverage of the event.

One of them, named William, was looking at Lena, which he certainly found to his liking. After a few minutes, while Lena was discussing business with some Cat&Co shareholders, William served a glass of champagne, took a second one and went to try an approach to the businesswoman. He smiled at her, introduced himself and asked her if he could talk to her alone to discuss an article.

Once alone, in the middle of a reception where there were about 200 people, William told her that he didn't want to talk about an item, he just wanted to offer her a drink to get to know her better.

Lena, who didn't want to rush him, had refused the drink he had offered her, simply thanking him for his invitation, but had to decline his offer.

Far from dismantling himself, William began to list all the qualities that made him a special man and that it would be a chance for her to get to know a man like him.

Arrogance was not one of them, Lena thought inwardly. In the distance, Kara listened with her super hearing to the conversation between the two of them, an unknown feeling seized her, which she could only name out of jealousy. No doubt that if throwing men out of windows was legal, she would most certainly do it. She wanted to go and help Lena get rid of William, but Sam and Alex were hogging her and preventing her from escaping.

Meanwhile Lena was getting seriously impatient, William was getting more and more enterprising, he took Lena's successive refusals as a challenge he had to win.

He tried to take Lena's hand and kiss her, in the old-fashioned way when hand kissing was still practiced, but Lena didn't give him time to grab it. He then tried to caress her arm, asking her again if she wanted the two of them to slip away for a more private conversation.

This time it was too much, Kara was so eager to hit him that she had broken the glass she was holding in her hand and decided it was time to stop this William's merry-go-round and after giving his sister and Sam a break, went straight to Lena's side, asking her if everything was okay.

William replied that everything was fine, that the two of them were having a private conversation and that they would like to continue this conversation alone, so he asked her to leave.

Sorry my dear William, but here and now you are disturbing the lady, so please leave her alone

And who are you I took you? This woman is having a very good time in my company, so I will ask you to leave

Who am I? I am the wife of the one you are bothering so much

And with these words, Kara turned to Lena, embraced her in her arms and placed her lips on his for a passionate and fiery kiss.

Lena was surprised by Kara's attitude, but to see the woman she loved defending her in such a way, she, usually so jovial and pleasant, being jealous, gave her incredible chills. And it wasn't long before their tongues were playing tango together, forgetting that they were in the middle of a room full of people and journalists who didn't miss a bit of the show. No doubt their wild kiss the next morning would make the headlines. But they didn't care, they were in their bubble, they were in love, they were simply happy.

However, they finally heard an Alex, followed by Maggie and Sam who had walked up to them to tell them:

Well, it's about time you showed up, it took you a long time to reveal yourself, I was tired of losing my bets with Maggie on when you'll show up in broad daylight.

Poor William had left without asking for the rest, probably too ashamed of the monumental jacket he had just taken.

Kara's parents arrived a few seconds later, they too had seen the whole scene and congratulated the two women before also admitting that they too were already aware of how much their love was so obvious.

The two women burst out laughing when they knew that everyone knew about them, and then hugged each other again, happier than ever. Lena whispered in Kara's ear that she found him incredibly sexy when she was jealous.
