Valentina played with her fingers as she sat on a bench beside Ignacia. They were currently on an awkward topic known as the egg talk. She constantly looked over her shoulder to make sure none of her nosey neighbors would try to join in her conversation...again. She found herself twitching at the sound of rustling leaves. She also blinked at the wind that touched her skin as it blew by. Unfortunately for her, the tree community was very active today.

She saw Ignacia looking at her with a concerned expression. "What? I'm fine." Valentina gave her a nervous smile. "I'm...just not used to going over this topic." She shyly chuckled as she glanced around the scene that was akin to a park.

"Me neither...I only had that one kid." Ignacia said with a blink as she looked at her.

"Same." Valentina looked down before asking, "I...guess the first question should be...how many?" She looked back up at the other troll.

Ignacia's ears twitched at that before she shrugged a bit. "I don't know how many I can have at once." She said with a blink as her ears twitched even more as she heard whispering.

Valentina glanced around before scratched her head. "How many do you want? D-Do you want more than one?" She blinked at that.

"Um...It would be nice...if we both had one." Ignacia said while glancing away.

The sparkling troll slowly nodded at that. "Two. Okay. I don't mind." Valentina gave her a small smile. "I'll keep looking at bigger pods."

Ignacia smiled as well. "That way we have enough space...and you can get that pet you want." She said with a chuckle.

Valentina chuckled a bit. "Yeah. The lady bug." She glanced around since she felt eyes on her. "...Well...I think that's enough talking for now. I have a feeling we're getting spied on." She continued to look around the park.

"Yeah...I keep hearing voices. I could have sworn they are saying…"Just do one and one." but I don't know what that means." Ignacia said with a blink.

Valentina visibly twitched as her face became a darker shade of red.

Ignacia tilted her head at that. "...Do you know what it means?" She asked with a curious blink.

"...Y-Yeah." Valentina's eye twitched before she tried to regain her composure. "You want me to explain it, don't you?"

"...Yeah...It seems kind of important." Ignacia said with a nod.

Valentina took a deep breath. "...They want us to take turns mating so we both end up giving birth to an egg each." She said rather bluntly before blinking.

"Oh. That makes sense." Ignacia said with a blink.

Valentina awkwardly nodded before clearing her throat. "You...think that's an option you'd be willing to take?"

Ignacia tilted her head before shrugging. "Sounds better than hoping for me to have two." She said with a chuckle.

The sparkling troll nodded in agreement. "It is settled then. We can start whenever you want. I'm in no rush." Valentina ignored the whispers in the background.

"Same...It doesn't have to happen immediately." Ignacia said with a chuckle, not hearing the rustling from behind and above them.

"Yeah." Valentina chuckled as well. "We also should really get out of here." She smirked at the rustling leaves.

"Okay...Also, they are saying that...they are invested and demand results." Ignacia said while scratching the side of her head.

Valentina rolled her eyes at that. "That just means that they want us to hurry have them. No matter what they say, I'm taking my time!" She called out as she cupped her mouth.

"You've already taken years! Get on with it!" An older female grumpily said while another troll comically tossed something that bonked Valentina on the head.

Valentina grumbled something in Spanish as she rubbed her head. "You better be glad I couldn't see who threw that!" She looked at Ignacia. "Odd. That sounded like my aunt." Her eyes halved while she continued to rub her head.

Ignacia looked up and glanced around. "...There's also someone holding a sandal and muttering how you aren't respecting her and giving her grandbabies." She said with a blink before giggling.

"Wait. How did you know she was holding a sandal?" Valentina raised an eyebrow.

"She's hitting it against her hand." Ignacia said with a smile and a shrug.

Valentina groaned before saying, "...Fine. I guess we could start sooner." She said with a deadpan.

While Ignacia simply laughed at her expression, many of the trolls cheered. "Yeah...I think you made them happy-" She was cut off as she dodged a sandal that instead hit Valentina. "-Well, most of them. That one that had the sandal says that she's getting older and is saying...ASAP or else." She said while blinking before she looked up to try and spy the older troll.

"What?!" Valentina exclaimed with a twitch. "I-I haven't even had time to prepare yet!" She complained, now massaging another part of her head.

"Yet you took this long to kiss her. You have had time-I am getting older and soon I am not going to be here." The older troll said with a twitch as she was handed another sandal.

The glittering troll twitched as well. She took another deep breath. "...Tonight, then." She folded her arms with halved eyes.

"I will be expecting results." The old troll said with a 'hmph' before she turned to leave.

"Isn't that fantastic." Valentina said with another eye roll.

"I heard that!" The troll said with a twitch before she walked away.

Ignacia was silent for a moment before she began laughing. "...I...I'm sorry, that w-was…" She couldn't finish her sentence as she began laughing harder.

The glittering troll continued to deadpan. "No. Go ahead. That'll give me time to check on my head." Her hands went through her deep pink hair.

"Oh, come here." Ignacia said in between her laughs before bringing her into a warm embrace.

Valentina couldn't help but smile at that. "That sandal felt like it was made out of metal." She leaned into the embrace.

"Well...she definitely had one heck of a throw." Ignacia said, beginning to calm down as she smiled.

"I am still feeling it." Valentina looked up at Ignacia. "You don't mind the sudden changes, do you?"

"...Nah. Did I ever tell you that it took only thirty minutes for that old geezer to offer me a room? I was there for food and next thing I know he's like "Pretty bird-lady." Ignacia said with a snort as she shook her head.

Valentina stared at that before furrowing her brows. "Really? It...took me about a year." She looked down at that. "I guess I've always been the one to take the slow route."

"I didn't know what I was getting into. All I know is that I put my foot down after the one kid." Ignacia said with a small shrug.

Valentina looked away before saying, "As long as you're okay with it." She said with a small nod.

"I'm cool with it...I liked being spontaneous...before those giant bugs scarred me for life of course." Ignacia said with a blink.

Valentina nodded once more as she parted. "And I'll make sure I do it right this time." She said, referring to her past parenting experience.

Ignacia smiled at her and took her hand. "You have me this time. I wasn't that bad...just bird-brained." She said with a chuckle.

"Thanks. I'm just...I don't know." Valentina squeezed the other troll's hand before she began to walk.

Ignacia looked at her and nodded. "Yeah, I'm nervous too. I couldn't protect my first child...and it never stopped bothering me." She said, keeping a tight hold on the other troll's hand.

"I've never stopped looking for mine." Valentina said with a shake of her head. "I don't know if I can just...stop looking to care for children. If I did, I feel like I'm betraying her somehow. It's stupid, I know." She looked around the civilization with pursed lips.

"It's not stupid...It just means you care." Ignacia smiled softly at her. "And...I don't believe that you are truly betraying her...because she is still on your mind at every moment of the day. Even if you had more kids, she would still be in your thoughts with the other ones." She said gently with a nod.

Valentina nodded at that. "...I just wish I knew if she was alive. Then I could at least have some peace of mind." She looked back at Ignacia. "I feel like my search is one sided. I am looking for her, but she doesn't seem to be searching for me. Either she's dead or something bad happened...or maybe she didn't love me enough." She said with a defeated sigh.

"I'm sure it isn't that." Ignacia shook her head at that. "...If she isn't looking, maybe she doesn't know that you are out here." She said with furrowed brows, wrapping her wing around the other troll.

"That is a...better possibility." Valentina said with a nod. "Ah...enough of that. I've ruined enough days with my sad stuff." She shook her head as her eyes turned upward.

"You didn't ruin anything." Ignacia smiled softly at her.

Valentina smiled in response. "Thank you for listening." She laced her fingers with Ignacia's as they continued to walk.

Just then, there was a distant noise. However, the noise approached quickly and sounded akin to a jet as it zipped through the sky. From their spot on the large tree, they could clearly see the flying ship fly right over head.

Ignacia comically squeaked at that and jumped in fright...right before she clung to Valentina with a wince. "...What was that?" She asked, keeping her eyes closed.

Valentina watched as the giant floating turtle went out of her line of sight. "...It was just the sky ship. The pirates were passing through." She looked down at the frightened woman and patted her on the head.

"O-Oh...Okay." Ignacia said with a slow nod before she opened her eyes.

"Yeah…" Valentina checked the sky once again. "Yeah. They're gone. Man, they seem busy lately."

Ignacia didn't let go of the other troll as she let out a sigh. "Good...Too many jumpscares can't be good for me."

The ruby troll chuckled at that. "They're just pirates." She said in a teasing manner.

"In a flying ship." Ignacia shook her head as she looked up at her.

"My ship used to fly." Valentina said with a shrug. "Back when I had Azula, the ship used to have propellers and stuff. That thing sounds like it used jets or something." She said in slight admiration.

"...So it's loud and it flies. I think...I'll stay right here." Ignacia said with a nervous chuckle.

Valentina shook her head in amusement. "It's fine. They are gone." She looked around for something to distract the feathered troll. "Hey, there's your kid over there. You wanna say hi?" She gestured to the small group in the distance.

"Sure...Let's go do that." Ignacia said, unaware that she was still latched onto Valentina.

Valentina shuffled her way over to the small group. She found herself holding in laughs as she crossed over a few branches. When she was close enough, she waved.

"Hey, guys. Did you see the Parade float that flew overhead?" Valentina jested as she greeted them.

Trollex waved at her as he patted Suki on the back. "Oh, hey, Ms. Vergara." He allowed Suki to stand by him as she continued to glance around. "As a matter of fact we did. We know that ship all too well." He gestured to the terrified pink troll beside him.

Lien shrugged as she rubbed her chin. "I didn't catch it...I only saw the turtle. I feel like I know that turtle." She said with squinted eyes.

Even the spider deadpanned at her.

Diogo blinked at her. "So...you missed the entire ship that passed by?" He tilted his head at that. "...I dare you to come back down here…" He growled as he glared at the sky.

Lien blinked as she noticed the people deadpanning at her before she looked at Diogo. "What? The turtle looks like something I learned in my studies and it would be really cool if that turtle was the same turtle in the books." She said with a smile and a nod.

Diogo shrugged before going back to the sky. "Ancient turtle. Got it." He went back to glaring at the sky.

Valentina blinked at him. "What's going on with him?" She glanced around the group.

Trollex looked at Diogo. "Eh...those are the pirates that destroyed Diogo and Lien's homes." He explained to them.

"And they kidnapped me after that sparkly devil threatened to kill me!" Diogo said in a huff.

"They did that?" Lien asked with a blink before she looked at him.

While Lucky, who suddenly became interested in Ignacia, made her way over to her, Diogo nodded in confirmation. "Yeah, after they turned Samba City into swiss cheese." He folded his arms at the thought.

Trollex glanced away at that. "The captain's name was Blue, right? She's pretty...intense." He said with a small frown.

Lien tilted her head. "...Her name is just...Blue? Like the color?" She asked with a raised eyebrow, not noticing what Lucky was up to.

Trollex looked at Lien as Lucky looked over Ignacia. "I think so. She never spelled it out or anything."

Valentina tilted her head. "So it's...only Blue. No last name?"

Trollex shook his head with a shrug. "I think so." He spoke as Lucky slowly crept over to Ignacia.

Ignacia, who was very unaware of the spider near her, raised an eyebrow. "...Must be a pirate thing. First name...and no last name." She said with a nod.

"You didn't have a first name." Valentina said with a chuckle. "Are you a pirate too?"

"...I was a bird." Ignacia said with a pout. "I didn't need a name as a bird."

That's when...Lucky captured the feathered troll in a hug. She had successfully pried Ignacia off of Valentina and blinked once she had the other troll.

Ignacia's first reaction was confusion before her eyes slowly widened and she began to shake. "...S-Spider...i-is...I AM TRAPPED!" She said, exclaiming at the end with a frightened expression.

Lucky merely blinked at that before cuddling up to the frightened troll. She happily started to purr.

Trollex nervously chuckled at that. "She...wants to be friends." He scratched the back of his head with a small smile.

"G-G-Giant bugs...a-are not friends...They wait a-and attack." Ignacia said while comically freezing in place.

Suki looked at the scene with a small smile. "Well...Lien is second mama and you look like her so…" She looked to the side.

"I...Only our wings look that similar." Ignacia objected while looking around.

The spider merely brought her closer with a happy purr.

Valentina chuckled at that. "Aww. She's purring. That means she's happy." She placed her hands on her hips.

"I-I-I'm not…" Ignacia said, looking rather uncomfortable as she glanced away.

Trollex shook his head at the scene before turning to the other trolls. "What were we talking about? The Captain?"

Diogo nodded as he tore his gaze off of the scene. "Uh huh. Wait...we were talking about the same captain, right?" He tilted his head.

"I think so." Trollex blinked at that while Valentina joined the cuddles. "She's the red one with yellow hair?"

Diogo nodded at that. "The glittery one? Yes?"

Lien blinked as she glanced at them. "Huh...It appears that I've never actually seen her." She commented with a thoughtful expression.

"That's because we escaped sooner." Diogo replied with a shrug.

Suki glanced around before looking at Valentina. "Um...she looks a bit like Valentina. Except without the stripes and her hair is yellow and pink instead of pink and yellow." She said with a blink.

That caught Valentina's attention. "She...does?" She looked up at them with curiosity.

Trollex looked over her before nodding. "Yeah. If you need a model just use Ms. Vergara. Blue's eyes are more of a blue instead of a purple, though." He told Lien as Valentina looked to the side.

"Oh...Gotcha. Thanks for the image." Lien said while smiling and giving him a thumbs up.

Suki smiled a bit as she finally released Trollex. "No problem." She looked over at a very distracted Valentina. "...You okay, Ms. Vergara?"

Valentina looked up at them with a dismissive wave. "Yeah, I'm fine. You all can go back to talking." She offered them a small smile from the spider's back.

Diogo's feathers ruffled in anger. "Can we talk about anything else?" He said with a frown.

Lien shrugged at that. "...Did you wanna hear more about that turtle?" She asked with a smile.

While Diogo deadpanned, Suki smiled and shook her head. "No more turtles."

"...Aw. Then what am I supposed to change the subject to?" Lien asked with a sigh and a pout.

Trollex scratched his head with a small smile. "Eh...we'll think of something."

Valentina glanced around before saying, "...I think I'm going to head back to my pod and take a nap." She said as she climbed off of the spider. It didn't take her long to run off.

Suki smiled at that before saying, "Okay, see you Ms...she's gone." She blinked as her smile disappeared.

"A-And I'm still s-stuck." Ignacia mumbled from her spot as the spider continued to cuddle her.

Suki looked at her spider with a small smile. "Lucky! Take Ms. Sun back home." She pointed at the spider.

Lucky stared at her before running off. The spider zipped through the trees. She scared a few citizens before making it down to the girl's pod. Lucky happily purred as she placed Ignacia on her doorstep. She used one of her legs to pat the feathered troll on the head before retreating back up to the tree.

Ignacia twitched a few times before she yelped and quickly ran into the house with a clearly traumatized expression.

Ooooooo

Blue's tongue poked out as she tampered with the jewels she was given. She looked at it upon closer inspection with a magnifying glass before moving onto the next step. She wrapped the accessory in a thin wire. After that, she connected the wire to another device with a small smile.

The ruby troll worked in her room, completely invested in what she was doing. She was taken by the energy source within the jewelry. Right now, she was trying to see if the energy could be utilized. If it could be used, for what? She was currently testing it out with one of her miniature robots. Blue wore a small smile as she attempted to attach the wire to the inner parts of the robot.

That was when someone decided to call her of course.

Blue blinked at that. "What the-who would be calling me-?" She carefully placed her tools down to press a button on her watch. She tilted her head at the unknown number before shrugging. "Ah-hello?"

The person on the line seemed to pause before she cleared her throat. "Hi...I was...just wondering what you were doing?" A very familiar voice asked.

The glittering troll tilted her head at the familiar voice. "...Caspian? Oh, I'm just meddling around with ancient jewelry." Blue removed her hat to better see what she was doing.

"Oh...Do you...um...like them?" Caspian asked slowly with a nervous chuckle.

Blue paused in her movements when she heard that. She looked down at the necklace. "...I have an appreciation for gems...and energy. How did you get my number...and a watch?" She raised an eyebrow.

"...Shift." Caspian said simply.

Blue deadpanned at that. "Figures. Shift gives my number to everyone these days." She picked up her pliers before asking. "How are you holding up?"

"Fine...Just stuck in bed." Caspian replied with a 'meh'.

"I've just been in my room." Blue shrugged as she continued to work. "...Why would you want to know if I liked the jewelry?" She blinked in a suspicious manner.

"Uh...No comment?" Caspian said hopefully with another chuckle.

"...Caspian." Blue looked at her watch with a raised brow.

Caspian was silent before she groaned. "Fine, I sent them...I thought you'd like them and they were just sitting in a box." She said with a sigh.

Blue blinked at that before leaning on her fist. "Caspian, I like them. I just...I can't handle romantic advances." She said with a twitch.

"Er...Well, they were more of...an 'I'm sorry' gift?" Caspian began while clearing her throat. "And I didn't understand what they were...just that they were all...zappy during the daytime." She added on, keeping a blank tone as she tried to explain herself.

Blue raised an eyebrow. "Well...for one they are solar powered. So...they spark during the day because they are releasing excess energy." She tapped the pliers against her desk. "And...you're sorry for what?"

"Uh...Several things. I don't have a list though." Caspian said lamely with a deadpan.

Blue nodded at that before sighing. "I...forgive you." She replied awkwardly before looking to the side.

Caspian seemed surprised at that and let out a confused 'huh' before she spoke. "Um...Thanks? Sorry, I...wasn't expecting that response."

"What? You were the one that started the whole pirates using manners thing." Blue's eyes went back to her robot.

"I was expecting something more along the lines of "Shut up, Cas." Caspian said in a blank tone.

"...When have I ever called you...Cas?" Blue raised an eyebrow. "Besides, everytime I do tell you to shut up, you never do. So what's the point?"

"I dunno...You usually just do it." Caspian said, clearly shrugging as she went silent.

"Well...I prefer not to do it anymore." Blue replied simply as she tried to attach the wire again.

"Erm...Okay." Caspian said in an awkward manner.

Blue finally attached the metal wire to the inner working of the robot. That caused the robot to begin to spark before it nearly sprang to the ceiling. That caused Blue to squeak as she nearly fell out of her seat in surprise.

"You okay?" Caspian asked having heard the sound the other troll had made.

Blue used the table to help her up. "...I'm good." She said before she let out a chuckle. "Where did you get these things?" She asked, clearly fascinated with the jewelry.

"Uh...I found them. It's a long story and...I haven't exactly...told it over a phone before. This thing is weird…" Caspian said with a deadpan, mumbling the last part to herself.

Blue worked on settling her beating heart with a smile on her face. "Entertain me." She replied as she looked over her fallen robot.

"Um...Well, there was a legend of a kingdom of trolls that had greater technology than...some trolls have today. They were next to the ocean in an area that had an abnormally long day cycle and a really short night cycle. So they put their heads together and came up with...an object of some sort that could take the sunlight and change it into energy. I don't know how, but they did. Anyway, they moved onto making smaller and personal ones when the city was fully powered and sustained by the sun energy. Everyone had these, and they looked more like...almost like little crude gems that they would shove in their pockets. But the royals of the kingdom insisted on having the gems put into jewelry so they would be able to power whatever they wanted when they wanted, not to mention they wanted it to look good." Caspian paused and took a moment to drink something before she cleared her throat. "This led to them figuring out how to do crazy things...like they had superpowers or something. It didn't make the citizens all that happy though, as they took it as a threat that the monarchy were too powerful. Yada-yada, a few wars and civil unrest later, most of the kingdom had gone completely off their rocker. So much so...that one day it was said that the ocean got so upset...it sent a massive storm and towering waves until the city and the land it was sitting on...were simply gone. Wiped off the face off the planet." She finished with an unintentional dramatic tone before she caught herself and tried to hide it with a cough.

"...Wow." Blue said in a whisper. She bit her lip as she looked over the jewelry in interest.

Caspian let out a 'heh' before she answered. "I regularly visited the site after I figured out where it was. Those pieces, however, my dad got in a trade in his younger years. The queen's jewelry was stolen by a thief days before the city was taken out." She explained in a less enthusiastic manner.

Blue ducked as her robot sparked once more. She grinned at that before hurriedly disconnecting it. "...It fried the whole thing." She looked at the charred inner workings before her grin doubled. "Haha! I'm going to need something bigger...oh and I totally heard you, Cas." She said before running elsewhere.

Caspian let out a clearly confused sound before she paused. "...Erm...Well...I have more stuff from the same kingdom. The king had a...very interesting device. I don't know what it does." She said, still confused as she waited. "It's kind of like this odd little cylinder that zapped me half to death before I threw it into a box and sealed it."

Blue, who was digging through her tool box, paused at that. "...Really? Can I…" She looked elsewhere. "...Can I see it?"

"...You'd have to ask Shift to lead you here...I wasn't exactly looking around when he tossed me on his back." Caspian said lamely with a deadpan.

"I know this ship like the back of my hand." Blue waved her hand at that. "Where are you?"

"...Below?" Caspian said with a nervous chuckle.

Blue squinted at that. "...Are you in my old room?" She tilted her head.

"...Yep. I asked Shift for a room and here I am." Caspian answered her, sounding as though she was moving around a bit.

It was only about fifteen minutes before Blue entered the room. She deadpanned and folded her arms. "...Don't want to talk about it. Let's...let's just see the stuff." She sighed as she walked into her old room.

"You can look, but I am not allowed to get up since I'm prone to reopening my wound." Caspian said as she folded her arms and shook her head.

Blue tilted her head at that...before she noticed the large pile of glowing treasures in the room. She stared for a moment as she slowly closed the door. She glanced around at everything while a smile made its way on her face. She giggled a bit before running over to the treasures eagerly.

Caspian squinted and slowly looked away. "...Just don't blow anything up. I'm the only one who can identify...most of those." She said while comically sliding under her blanket as she spoke.

Blue went through the items with a large smile. "I agree to some of those terms." She said when she looked over everything.

"...Don't blow anything up in here." Caspian corrected with halved eyes.

Blue, completely Ignoring the other pirate, glanced around at everything. "Extraordinary…" She reached out and picked up an item that looked much like a trident. "I wonder how one would operate this. It's solid, but not too light. I'm thinking this is made out of a non corrosive metal. That way, it can conduct the energy from these stones." The ruby troll looked over the item with a keen eye as she glanced over at Caspian.

"Uh...Yeah, it was in a cave nearby the sunken and mostly destroyed city. Sea monster was guarding it along with lots of other things like gold, gems, a huge pearl...it took a bit to get it out of the way." Caspian explained from under the blanket.

Blue finished mumbling to herself with a head tilt in Caspian's direction. "...Are you okay? You are acting super wussy today." She closed one eye and held up the trident.

"I'm fine." Caspian said rather simply as she uncovered herself and looked away.

"Are you sure?" Blue looked over the other troll. "This is another one of those brain things, isn't it? I knew I should have taken you to see a professional. Neurobiology was never the focus of my studies." She squinted her eyes as she looked up in thought.

"...It's anxiety. It'll pass soon enough." Caspian said, waving it off as she looked up at the ceiling.

Blue deadpanned at the other troll. "I'm getting you a therapist." She said before picking up another artifact.

"I really don't need one." Caspian shook her head at that.

"Prove it." Blue didn't look at her this time as she scanned something with her watch before smirking at it.

"How am I supposed to do that?" Caspian asked while she folded her arms.

"That's for you to figure out." Blue put the artifacts down as she began to tap her watch. "Until you do, I'm setting up that appointment."

"I can't prove anything if you...don't tell me what to do." Caspian said with squinted eyes.

That's...honestly what Blue wanted. She held out a chuckle as she spoke. "I did tell you what to do. I said figure it out." She wore a small smile before she spotted the large pearl.

"How am I supposed to figure it out?" Caspian asked with a twitching brow. "You aren't helping."

"I'm not supposed to help." Blue replied with a smirk. "You are supposed to figure it out."

"Well, I can't." Caspian complained while swooshing her tail back and forth.

"Not with that attitude." Blue's smirk grew while she stifled a chuckle. "Also, the doctor will see you tomorrow." She shook her head in amusement.

"I don't want to see some doctor." Caspian said with a 'hmph'.

"Several." Blue smacked her lips before she nodded. "I am taking you to see quite a few that specialize in the areas that I know will get some things done." Her eyes lit up at the sight of the large pearl.

"I-I don't need several doctors. I was fine in the past and I am fine now." Caspian replied in a stubborn manner.

Blue waved it off before walking around the pearl. "A lot of people say that before they get seen." She shrugged before she tilted her head at the pearl.

"But I am fine-I am just having an off day." Caspian said while shaking her head.

"...Can you prove that?" Blue chuckled to herself before she sighed through her head. She looked at her reflection in the pearl's surface. She then noticed that she had left her hat in her room. She gasped, her hands went up for her ample yellow hair.

"I don't know how to prove it." Caspian said with a huff before she looked away.

"Then, it's settled." Blue responded with a small frown as she looked around for something to place on her head. "You are easy to aggravate."

Caspian glanced at her before she frowned and turned on her side. "No, I'm not."

"...Stop pouting." Blue found her old blue bandana and tied it to her forehead to keep it from being seen.

"I am not pouting." Caspian said while shaking her head.

"You are pouting." Blue looked over at the techno troll in amusement.

"No, I am not!" Caspian huffed out in frustration.

"Then what is that?" Blue pointed at the techno with a small chuckle.

Caspian twitched at that before she completely buried herself under her blanket. "Nothing. You can't see me anyway because I am under this blanket." She said with a 'hmph'.

Blue shook her head at the before making her way over to Caspian. "...Sup pouty fish. You worried about something?" She leaned on her old bed with a small smirk.

"...Nope." Caspian said after a moment while shaking her head from under the blanket.

Blue tilted her head at that. "You're scared." She stated with a blink.

"No I'm not." Caspian responded immediately in a stubborn manner.

"I'm used to people being scared of me, but not this kind of scared." Blue furrowed her eyebrows. "Your fear is...different. Maybe it's what you fear that's different. Either way, you are indeed scared of me."

Caspian didn't reply to that and instead grumbled and turned on her side.

Blue glanced around before walking back to the piles of artifacts. She began to gather some of them in her arms. "Well...I should get going. I have a few ideas for this stuff and...I have to prepare for something important tomorrow." She said with a neutral expression.

"...Yeah, you do that." Caspian said in a quieter tone as she merely swished her tail.

Blue finished gathering artifacts with her usual frown that returned to her face. "Inventing is something I like to do. It always has been. Look over me, I can get carried away sometimes." She hurriedly made her way to the door before heading out of the room.

Caspian unburied herself and sighed once she was alone. "Geez...Why is she being nice? She should be in here yelling and...stuff." She paused and frowned. "...Those morons probably did something. She was only nice to me and not...angry and yelling because they were up to no good...And she wonders why I'm scared." She said to herself in an unsure tone as she rubbed her arms in an anxious manner.

Blue, who was listening outside of the room, shook her head before heading back to her room. "She thought I was spiked??" She said, clearly offended.

The seething captain stomped past her crewmates. Blue growled under her breath before entering her room. She slammed the door before flopping on her bed. That's when she also allowed the items to fall onto the bed.

"So-I can't be nice. I can't be nice unless I'm spiked?" Blue dryly laughed at that. "She gives me presents...then thinks I'm spiked when I show my appreciation-okay." Blue stood up and paced a few times. She grumbled a few things to herself. "...I should stick to what I'm good at." Blue shook her head with a sigh before working on a blueprint.

About ten minutes later, there was a soft knock on Blue's door followed by a few more knocks.

Blue the ruby troll twitched in irritation. "Go away!" She shook her head as she continued to look over some things.

"...I'm sorry." The person on the other side of the door said, sighing a bit before going quiet.

"I don't want to talk to you." Blue said with slight irritation. "In fact, I remember I told you to stay away from me."

"...I've never been good at obeying." Caspian said as she leaned against the door for support. "...I'm serious though, I'm sorry for acting like that...I was scared that...you were going to yell at me as soon as the smiles were over. I judged you because I was afraid." She said with a frown while shaking her head.

Blue leaned on her fist in a bored manner. "You give me something that I really like and don't expect me to smile? I know I don't smile often, but when I finally did...you accused me of being spiked!" She squinted her eyes.

"I know...I am stupid for thinking that you wouldn't show...a smile from the gifts. I...just thought that you were still really angry at me. I didn't expect you to react as you did." Caspian admitted with a deep frown. "...I'm sorry for saying that I thought you were spiked. It was stupid...and rude of me to say." She said with a softer sigh.

"Yes, it was very stupid and very rude." Blue agreed with a deep frown of her own. "And if it's that out of the ordinary for me to show an emotion other than anger, I won't do it again. Now, go away."

Caspian sniffed as she remained in the same spot. "...No. I'm not going away. I only thought that you would have been angry...because of everything that happened. I was in your room, I had your number, and I called you. And there are even more things beyond that...that I thought you would've been angry with me about." She paused before she shook her head. "...I will not lie...Deep down I was happy that you were happy...but I was just too scared to accept that you can be happy with me." She added on, closing her eyes.

"Shut up, Caspian." Blue rested her head on her arms. "Just shut up. You wonder why I don't want friends."

"...Because idiots like me judge you? I didn't mean to do it, Blue...I didn't." Caspian said in a softer tone a she let out a shaky breath. "I wanted to be happy...and to talk with you while you were happy, but instead my stupid...stupid mind said that you...were just going to yell if I interacted." She rubbed at her eyes with a sniff.

Blue merely glanced at the door. Afterward, she buried her face in her arms and sniffed.

Caspian shakily shook her head and was about to leave...before the door was suddenly opened. This caused her to fall into the room and land on the floor. She groaned and opened her eyes and caught sight of a tail before she sighed.

The techno troll glanced around before she spied Blue and tilted her head. Taking a moment, she managed to get off the floor before she took another glance at the other troll. She bit her lip and looked down in thought...before she nodded to herself and slowly swam over to her. Once she was close enough, she glanced down at her hands before she lifted one and placed it on Blue's shoulder.

Blue didn't have to look to know who had placed their hand on her. She only sniffed and pushed the other troll away. "Leave me alone."

"...I'm not doing that." Caspian said in a softer tone before she swam back over and returned her hand to Blue's shoulder.

Blue glared at the other troll before getting up and moving elsewhere.

Caspian sighed and slowly followed her. "...I am sorry. I really didn't mean it...I-I just thought something and it took over when I should have just listened to the reasonable side of my head." She said in a sincere tone as she sniffed and nodded.

Blue shook her head at that. "And...why should I believe you?" She glared at the other troll with wet eyes.

Caspian looked down before she slowly lowered to the floor. "B-Because...I wanted to make you happy. The jewelry wasn't to say that I was sorry, but to make you happy. I remember how...excited you were when you were telling me about your drone and how you were when you made my sunglasses. I...liked it when you were happy. It made me feel...happy. I don't know what I was thinking when you came down there...or when I called you. I let my fear take over when I should've been happy. I...I hoped that when I brought the treasures over that you would like some of them and figure out what they were." She kept her head down while wiping at her eyes. "And you did. You figured out the capabilities of that jewelry and got excited." She added on before she sniffed. "I'm sorry for crushing that excitement with my own fearful thoughts. It wasn't fair...or kind...and was instead rude."

Blue looked to the side. She pondered over a few things before she sighed. "...I forgive you." She folded her arms.

Caspian looked up in surprise with watery eyes. "...Y-You do?"

Blue kept her gaze elsewhere. "...Yeah."

Caspian nodded as she sniffed once more. "T-Thank you…" She said, wiping at her eyes before she floated up and, without warning, suddenly hugged the other troll.

Blue blinked at that. She quickly tensed up before she looked at the other troll. "...What are you doing?"

Caspian, not exactly realizing that she had done it so randomly, simply shrugged as she continued to hold onto the other troll. "...I'm hugging you."

"Get off." Blue said with a twitching brow.

It took a moment, but Caspian abruptly let her go and floated away a bit. "...Sorry." She said while looking down.

Blue squinted her eyes at the other troll and stepped to the side. "...You can...leave now." She kept her gaze averted as she spoke.

"...Oh...Um." Caspian rubbed her hands together as she looked up. "Okay...I just wanted to mention that...they are still bringing stuff from my ship. So I...could look through them for you if you want me to." She offered while looking at her.

"Okay." Blue nodded as she kept her eyes elsewhere. Instead of focusing on Caspian, she looked at her wall.

"...I can send them up. That way you don't have to come down and look." Caspian added on as she fiddled with her fingers.

Blue merely nodded before she twitched once more.

Shift just happened to be walking by when he noticed Caspian in Blue's room. He also noticed how tense and twitchy Blue was. "Caspian, what are you doing?!" He said before running into the room.

"...I was apologizing." Caspian said with a blink.

Shift grabbed the injured troll before trying to pull her out the room. "You are supposed to be resting."

"I rested enough...I wanted to tell her about some of the stuff that was being brought over." Caspian said with a small frown before she tried to free herself in a stubborn manner.

Shift merely carried the techno troll out of Blue's room. "What did you do!? She looked like she was about to explode?!" He shook his head.

"I said I was apologizing, then I hugged her, then told her I would send up anything I found interesting. Then you carried me out and here we are." Caspian said before her eyes halved at the end.

"Because she was about to explode." Shift replied, matching her deadpan.

"...She didn't look like she was going to explode." Caspian shook her head at that. "She was just a bit twitchy."

Shift sighed at that with a shake of his head. "I know you like her and all…and you like physical contact, but Blue doesn't." He said with a frown.

"...The hug was on accident. I didn't mean to do it, but it just happened." Caspian said while folding her arms.

Shift grabbed her by the wrist and led her away. "Any more accidents and she'll jump off the boat."

"Why would she jump off her own boat?" Caspian asked in a deadpan.

"To get away from you!" Shift pointed at her.

"...Still. Jumping off her own ship? That seems counterproductive." Caspian pointed out with a shrug.

"Here's the bottom line." Shift opened the door and placed Caspian on her bed. "You might need to give her some air. Three...maybe four days..?" He gave her a nervous smile.

"...Excuse me?" Caspian stared at him with a frown.

Shift sighed at that. "I don't know what you did...but if you keep pressing her buttons...I don't know what she might do." He looked down to the ground.

"...So I just have to sit here and tweedle my fingers for four days? Yeah right. You can't trap me in here." Caspian complained as she immediately began to get up.

"I didn't say you would be trapped. I just said you had to give Blue some space." Shift said with a frown.

"Yeah, but everyone also wants me to stay in bed and in here. Meaning I am trapped in here." Caspian said as she swam away and began looking through the large pile of stuff.

Shift walked up to the pile with a raised eyebrow. "Can't you be trapped in here for a little bit, then?" He said with a head tilt.

"Four days?" Caspian twitched at that as she frowned.

"Yes." Shift frowned at that. "You don't know Blue like I do and she didn't look good. So, If I suggest you need to back off-it would be best to back off." He shook his head.

"Not like you'd let me out anyway." Caspian grumbled as she went back to looking at the pile.

Shift sighed at that. "...I know you don't like it. Just...give her a moment." He said with a scratch of his head.

Caspian merely nodded as she looked over an object. "Fine." She said with a 'hmph'.

"Just...get some rest." Shift said before he walked toward the door.

"Don't need rest." Caspian said automatically while waving it off.
