Candidate #25:

Hero Name: Rettam the Weapon Master.

Real Name: Rettam of House Endoss.

Description: Tall elven man, fair skinned, with black and blue striped long hair, and purple eyes. Likes to wear boots, black pantaloons, solid-color-undershirts, a silver chain necklace with elven runes on it, and biker jackets with chains accessories. Also he has a black handled blue-steel katana tied to his powers.

Origin: This one's a little weird. A few years ago in another dimension that is not part of the "Earth-# Multiverse" nor the "Spider-Verse", Mars was inhabited by Elves and its capital city was Atlantis. House Endoss was an elitist meritocracy of protector-warriors, masters trained by masters. Rettam may have eventually become House Patriarch. But, one day Satan literally showed up (with the entire army of Hell) and the only way to defeat him was for The Evil One to release The Avatar of Destruction. Satan was destroyed mind, body, and soul. Yet Mars became a uninhabitable wasteland, thousands of elves escaped through a portal and some ended up on Earth-9997 in modern times. After a long journey Rettam ended up on this Earth, on an island full of zombies, he killed all of them without getting touched. He was also trained by someone magical called The True Master who was a legend after time but then went to the dawn of time to "invent" magic.

Citizenship: some kind of elven multi-pass for the realms adjacent to Alfheim in all dimensions... not sure if N.Y.P.D. would take that seriously, might be a diplomatic incident if they don't. Will have to do something about this.

Powers: Intelligence 4, Strength 4, Speed 3 (magic flight), Durability 3, Weapon Ki-Techniques 7, Weapon Magic 6, and Fighting ability 7. Martial Arts prodigy, abilities in melee are much higher than they appear (oh come on! Another one! Am I out of shape?).

Skills: Arcana 5, Deduction 2, Intimidation 3, Medicine 3, Military 3, Morale 1, Music 3, Perception 4, Piloting 7, Powers 3, Psionics 3, Science 1, Speaking 1, Stealth 5, Survival 5, Tactics 5, Techniques 7, and Trickery 2.

Ceiling Turrets: PASSED, has some abilities that resemble telekinesis (he called it Armakinesis, a type of Ki Technique), made the turrets point at and shoot at each other, obviously this didn't wreck them but we counted it as a win (would have worked against generic A.I.M. turrets).

Burning Building: PASSED, he meditated for 20 seconds to lock onto the target with his ki (I am told this is a real thing), then he hovered up to the room, used his sword to cut open the wall from the outside, and easily rescued the doll with time to spare. This is one of the first candidates in a long time to not enter the building.

Bank Hostages: PASSED, something about "Blade Art 101, Rebellion of Arms" and all the guns flew away from the robbers and pointed at the robbers, simple, classy, and the hostages loved it.

60 Second Spar: vs. Firebird (haven't seen her in a while), PASSED. Firebird is not weak, she was our mightiest female hero when Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) was in a Coma (caused by Rogue when she was an idiot tween working for Mystique (Mystique was Rogue's foster mom after Rogue's powers made her run away from home)). Anyway he made water come out of the pipes, made the water stretch out as tentacles to bind her, then made swords out of more water that rained down from the sky until she passed out (something about "Blade Arte 204, Raining Sword Rain!"). Rettam isn't cosmic, but he is mighty. After the spar Firebird said she wasn't trying to blow up the building and Rettam counters with he wasn't using his right arm for any of the tests yet.

Red Flags: He doesn't like explaining stuff... which is a problem because what he is and does is so far apart from something simple like Iron Man (me). Slightly too proud and competitive about his martial skills. Enjoys prank attempts as practice for fighting tricksters.

Extra: this tribunal needs to get Phoenix Jean Grey and Firebird together, where does one cosmic bird end and the other begin.

Deployment: Probationary-Intern Avenger, 2000% strong enough, but needs a few Modern-Earth classes, and a few acting classes to be more charming-likeable.

Interview Highlight:

Iron Man "Dr. Strange never tells me the good stuff. Any idea what happened to Satan and Hell after he was blown up, also is there like one Hell or one per Earth?"

Rettam "For the entre omni-verse, there is only 1 Hell. I was moved across realities and space-time, but Satan died and was a few years ago. Hell operates on the True Timeline. Every-time you cause a loop and remember the last loop, that time still happened on The True Timeline, loops are watched by cosmic entities who grow in power over True Time."

Black Panther "We know of Mephisto, but then who is really in charge of Hell?"

Rettam "Stan the Lord-High Accountant, was given that job by the Avatar of Destruction. Stan, standardized the Soul-Contract and reorganized the realms of Hell. I am a weapon master, not a magical sage. You should seek an expert."
