Amity walked up to the large throne and kneeled.
"My Liege." She said, "I have sent the two captured Rebels to a prison cell."
"Very good, Amity. Have they given you any information?" Belos asked.
"Nothing that we don't already know. It seems that they take an oath of silence before being sent out. I put them through the most painful forms of interrogation and still nothing."
"I see. That is unfortunate, but soon it won't matter." He said.
"Sir?" Amity asked.
"Earlier, I sent another group to the knee to find this pathetic Rebellion base. They never returned." Belos said, getting up, "However, I noticed a pattern."
He handed Amity a map. She opened it and saw a map of the Knee with several red dots making a circle.
"Each dot is a place that groups have died from Rebels. Notice how they're always around that specific area. I believe that's where their base is." He said.
"What is the plan, My Liege?"
"I plan on sending a small army there in a week's time. The element of surprise is important in this, without it, we will fail." He said, "You've done well, Amity. I am impressed with your work. You may leave, I have to warn the Coven Leader of the plan."
Amity quickly left the room and left the Castle. She calmly walked to her mansion and grabbed her staff. She unscrewed her Palisman and let the small falcon rest on her finger. She let her Palisman jump onto her desk and she pulled out the envelope. She quickly reads through it and starts writing a response. She ties it to her Palisman and picked her up.
"Okay, Hecate, get this to Luz, ASAP."
The small bird flew out the window and Amity watched as she flew away.
"Please make it." She said.
At the Knee, Luz was in her tent, playing the knife game while damaging her lungs at the same time. Don't start with her, she knows it's a bad habit. She heard a bird call and slammed the knife right between her middle and ring fingers. She stood up and put her cigarette in an ash tray. She went outside and saw Amity's Palisman.
"Hecate, I guess Amity got my letter." She let the bird jump on her hand and brought her to her desk, "Okay, Agent One, let's see what you have for us."
Luz read through it and then quickly walked to Willow's tent.
"Willow! I need you out here, right now!"
Willo walked outside and looked at Luz.
"What is it?"
Luz handed her the letter and Willow looked over it.
"We need to get ready for this." Luz said.
"Well, you're the boss. What do we do?"
"Call in the Rogues in. We'll need them."
Willow knew this was bad, Luz doesn't call in the Rogues unless it's important. Willow went in her tent and pressed a button on her desk. The Rogues were a small special group that consisted of four witches with specialized weapons. When Willow pressed the button, it sends an alert to a specialized crystal ball that fits in their pockets. They typically are only used for spying, but right now, they need everyone.
"How long until they get here?" Luz asked.
"Last time I contacted them, they were about a day from here." Willow said.
"Good, I'm going to spend the rest of the night in my work shed. I need to get enough arrows and blades ready for battle. When they get here, you know what to do."
Luz walked off as Willow just watched. She knew there was nothing she could do. The past five years have really changed her. The happy, optimistic, ball of sunshine was gone. All she knows about the Boiling Isles now is war, death, pain... this is who Luz was now. Willow went back into her tent and waited for the Rogues to arrive.
"Did Belos really call it, 'Operation Broken Knee'? What an idiot." She said.
