Willow woke up early and waited for the Rogues. The guards at the gate opened the gate and four witches walked in. Willow walked over to them and greeted them.
"Gus, Skara, Amelia, Maven. Glad you can make it." Willow said.
Amelia, Skara, and Gus have changed a lot over the years. Amelia had grown almost ten inches, her hair was grown out to the center of her back and was dyed black, and she was missing half of her right ear... don't ask. Skara really hasn't grown that much, probably only four inches, she was the shortest of the group. Along with that, her hair was only three inches long, and she had a very long scar on the side of her face. Gus has probably changed the most. He was almost seven feet tall, was very muscular, and his voice was deep and intimidating. Then there was Maven, a mysterious boy in his early twenty's, he has short black hair, blue eyes, and doesn't speak. The only thing anyone knows about him, is he was a part of the Construction Track at school. These four make up the Rogues, the elite group of the Rebellion, the only four allowed to use special weapons that Luz made. She called it a gun, but not like the ones that humans use. The bullets they fire have one of Luz's special glyphs that activate on impact. There are only four of them on the Isles.
"If I may, why have we been called?" Skara asked.
"Agent One has sent us an important letter. There is going to be a small army coming, we need every available Rebel to help us." Willow said.
"The rest of you go set up, I have to talk to Willow." Gus said. They listen to him and start to leave, "How's Luz doing?"
"Same as usual. Not much you can do about that." Willow said sadly.
"She's been through so much. Almost her entire time on the Isles has been a war." Gus said.
"The nice and happy Luz we knew is dead. All that's left is the Owl Lady."
"Maybe after the war she'll be happy." Gus said.
"Unfortunately, that's not going to happen for a while. She's changed to much, she smokes, drinks, and doesn't have the same fire in her eyes." Willow said.
"Can that fire ever be reignited?"
"I don't think so." Willow said, "Come on, we only have a week."
Every Rebel trained hard every day until the day the army was coming. Many Rebels had their Artic suits on and hid in the woods so they could ambush. The Rogues stood outside the gate, Willow was at an outpost looking out for the army, and finally, Luz walked out with her Rebel forces. She put her staff down and put her helmet on. She picked up her staff and Willow rang the bell.
"They're coming from the North!" Willow yelled.
Luz held her staff up and the Rebels drew back an arrow.
"Ready! Aim!" Luz saw the army, "FIRE!"
They release their arrows and many Coven guards were hit. The Rebels hiding in the trees fired their fire glyph arrows and blocked the guards off by a wall of fire. They put their bows on their backs and pulled out their swords. They jump off of the branches and slammed their swords into the guards as they landed. The Rebels started cutting guards as another group of guards came up from the side. Skara put up her gun and looked through the scope. She fired a bullet and it hit a guard in the head. The glyph activated and an explosion took out all the guards in the surrounding area. Amelia, Gus, and Maven started firing their guns and more explosions happened. Luz ordered the Rebels to fire at the guards while she walked around the base. If they think she doesn't know how a fake out works, then the Coven is more stupid than she though. To her complete surprise, not, she found guards approaching from behind. Luz threw her knife at one of the guards and it got stuck in their neck. Luz slammed her staff on the ground and sent ice spikes into each of them. Killing them instantly.
"Okay, add seven more kills to my record. That makes... 986 kills." Luz said.
She walked back around the base and saw more dead guards.
"Willow! How many more guards are there?!" Luz yelled to Willow.
"Only about seventy. This should end by the end of the hour." Willow said.
"Good." Luz said, "Keep firing!"
At the end of the day, the Emperor's Coven was humiliated. They tried to deliver a devastating blow and, possibly, end this war. The only thing they got was their ass handed to them. The Emperor's Coven Leader decided that it was time to take the reins and, damn it, she will.
"You may be winning now, Owl Lady, but your time will end." She looked at a knife and threw it at a picture of Luz, imbedding itself into the wall, "I'm coming for you, Human."
