-We interrupt the drama with a cute intermission-

"Um," the redheaded first year said, "can I help you?"

Takanobu nodded silently. Takanobu Aone, age sixteen, only a few weeks before the first field trip of the year. His quirk: Silence. His hands fidgeted. Takanobu was a shy boy. Usually, he wasn't too good at conversation or making friends, so he generally kept quiet.

Although, that day was different. He overheard two of the loudest in his class talking about the crazy first years that destroyed the zero pointer, and he wanted to see for himself. He wanted to meet the one who finished it off. And then, standing in front of him, he felt terrified. Probably more terrified than the tiny first year looked.

Takanobu stuck out a large hand. "I'm Aone," he said in a surprisingly high voice for his size. "Nice to meet you."

The redhead took the hand with apprehension. "I'm Hinata. Nice to meet you, too."

Takanobu never knew how to get past the first phase. He knew he was big and intimidating. He knew that the small boy would be scared of him. What would he say then?

"I heard about you."

Not that, idiot!

"Oh, really?" Hinata asked, visibly confused. "What kind of stuff have you heard about?"

Okay, they were getting somewhere. "Zero pointer," Takanobu said brokenly. Ugh, why was he so awkward?

"Oh!" Hinata's small, round face expanded into a wide smile. "You heard about my friends and me destroying the zero pointer?" Takanobu nodded. "You want to meet them, too?" He shook his head. "Oh, that's okay. I wouldn't want to meet Kageyama either." Hinata tilted his head down to the ground, holding his chin like he was saying something profound. "Although, Yachi's pretty great. She's tutoring me in English." The small redhead turned back to the tall platinum blond boy. "I can introduce her to you, if you want."

Takanobu shook his head. This conversation was easier than he thought it would be. The tiny redhead was doing all the talking. All Takanobu had to do was nod, grunt, or shake his head, and he was already used to doing those things.

"I understand," Hinata answered to the shake. "Oh, hey, what year are you?"

"Second," Takanobu growled.

Hinata's face paled. "Oh crap, you're my upperclassman! I'm sorry, I shouldn't have been so formal with you!" Takanobu shook his head. "You agree with me?" Takanobu shook his head again. "You...don't agree with me?" Takanobu nodded. "So...I can be informal with you?" Takanobu nodded again. "Phew!" The short boy visibly deflated.

"Woah!" A boy shorter than Hinata popped up behind the first year. "I haven't seen you talk ever, Aone!"

Hinata turned around. "Nishinoya!"

"Hey, Hinata," Nishinoya greeted. "I see you've met our resident second year softie." Takanobu grunted at that statement. "He's almost as intimidating as our number four third year, but don't let his looks fool you." He grinned. "Taka's a soft guy."

Takanobu stood, flabbergasted on the inside. He didn't show it on his face, however. The only emotions he ever really showed on his face were mild pleasure, and the occasional light determination.

"Noya, stop embarrassing him," a new voice that Takanobu knew all too well piped up. "You know he's easily mortified."

"Futakuchi," Takanobu grunted. He could feel his face flush with embarrassment.

Kenji Futakuchi, age sixteen. His quirk: Taunt. The brown haired boy grinned, patting the giant boy's back. He looked down at the first year.

"So you're the little first year that our friends wouldn't stop talking about," he said, looking up at Nishinoya. "Cool. I'm Futakuchi, Aone's best friend and future husband."

"Futakuchi," Takanobu grunted again, although this one sounded more like a whine. He hated being embarrassed by his close friend. Especially if this close friend was actually a big crush of his since second year in elementary school.

"Well," Hinata broke the silence, "I have to get back to class." He stuck a tiny hand out to the big teen. "It was great meeting you, Aone." Takanobu nodded. Hinata turned to Futakuchi. "It was great meeting you, too, Futakuchi."

Futakuchi smirked. "See you around, shorty." He hooked an arm around his big friend. "Come back soon. I like seeing Aone talk once in a while."
