Chapter 31 – Keep The Party Going

Ajay woke up to a hand stroking her breast. She opened her eyes to Octavio's chest. She blinked to adjust her eyes. She looked down at the hand on her breast. It took her a moment to realize that it was Renee's hand and the memories on last night came flooding back to her head. She felt Renee pressed against her back. She reached down and touched Renee's hand, holding her gently. Whatever was going on she felt the urge to touch Renee. She closed her eyes and fell back asleep, she felt safe curled up against Octavio.

When Ajay woke again it was just her and Renee in the bed. Renee was still snuggled against her back. The fleeting thought of kissing Renee passed. She slowly slid out of Renee's arm and crawled out of bed. The only clothing that she could find were her bra and panties so that's what she put on. She went out to the living room of Elliot's apartment. She was quiet not wake Anita and Makoa but she didn't see them anywhere. It felt early. She found Elliot and Octavio sitting across from one another on the balcony eating breakfast. Octavio smiled when he saw her, his emerald eyes were beaming as he patted his lap for her to come sit on him.

She sat in his lap facing him, her back to Elliot. She kissed Octavio as Elliot watched her ass. Octavio offered her a bite of a strawberry. "Morning maravillosa." She ate the strawberry and then replied, "Mornin. How ya feeling?" He placed his hands on her waist, "Great, you?" He moved his hands to her ass, knowing it would drive Elliot crazy. She smiled as she felt his hands, "Good." He played with her ass as Elliot stared, "Was last night okay?" She felt her face get warm and nodded. "It was." He smiled and kissed her forehead. His fingers played with the lace of her panties as he squeezed her ass.

"Ready for round two?" Elliot announced, he was getting antsy in his seat. "Round two of what?" Renee walked out with one of Elliot's shirts on. "What are you plotting this time?" Elliot gave Renee a pouty face as she got closer to him, "Never!" Elliot threw his hands up innocently, "Well whatever it is I bet I can win." Ajay held back a laugh, she did not know what to expect from Renee if she laughed at her. She leaned into Octavio and placed her chin on his shoulder. "Have a little fun guys. Don't you guys ever just like ever let go for a few days?" Renee sat down at the table and grabbed a plate of food, "Elliot, don't force your shit on other people." Elliot laughed, "What do you mean?" Renee rolled her eyes, "Just because you can party for days on end doesn't mean everyone else can."

Octavio shook his head a little. They obviously didn't know how much he and Ajay could party. He just didn't want to push anything with Ajay since they just reconnected. He nudged Ajay a little. Ajay pulled her face from Octavio's shoulder and met his eyes. He whispered to her as Renee and Elliot bickered, "Are you up for the challenge?" She thought about it for a moment. "Just a few weeks ago you wanted to have Silva here to party and here is. Quit being a fucking pussy." She smirked, "Of course." Octavio leaned his chin on her breasts and stared into her eyes, "We're in trickster."

Elliot and Renee stopped bickering, "Great!" He stood up. "I need to run and grab some more alcohol or I am going to be a lousy host." Octavio continued to looking at Ajay. "I'll go with you." Ajay felt a little tense, she didn't know how she felt about staying behind with Renee. She didn't know what side of Renee she was going to get. "Can Renee hear my voice?" Octavio gave Ajay's ass one last squeeze before standing up. Ajay found herself standing as the two men walked away to put the rest of their clothes on and left to go to the store. Ajay sat down, still a little tense.

Renee finished up her food, "What's your deal?" Ajay looked over to her, "Whatcha mean?" Renee stood up and starting picking up the table, "You're quiet." Ajay started to internally panic. "My shoulder is hurting." She pointed at her wound. "It wasn't entirely a lie." Renee nodded, "Oh. Well. Elliot has got some harder stuff if you don't want the tralalala shit." Ajay helped her clean up. "Like what?" Ajay was just more interested to know what he had. She found her clothes on the balcony and put them on. She didn't bother with her boots, just her tank top and leggings. Renee frowned when she saw Ajay was dressed, "I'll show you."

Renee took Ajay's hand and led her to Elliot's bedroom. Renee got down on the floor and Ajay knelt down with her. Renee pulled out some plain looking box out from under the bed and opened it. Renee pulled everything out of it and started naming it as she went along, "Liquid ecstasy, cocaine, heroin, ketamine, thang, LSD, marijuana, ecstasy, kat, brew, PCP, and shrooms." Ajay just sat there is disbelief, "What. In. Da. Actual. Fuck." Renee shrugged. "The heroin would probably help." Renee commented to her. Ajay smiled, "I have some oxy in my bag." Renee quickly put everything away as Ajay went to her bag and grabbed two pills, taking them with a sip of water. Ajay sat on the sofa and Renee joined her.

"So are you and Elliot a complicated thing?" Ajay looked over at Renee who was an arm lengths away. "We're friends." She paused for a moment. "He has always been there for me. But he is complicated. So I guess we are a complicated thing. I am complicated too. What about you and Octavio? What's the deal?" Ajay didn't really know what the deal was. "He feels like home. He feels safe. I don't have nightmares when he is around. I want to be with him all the time. He knows everything about me." She sighed, "It's complicated too." Renee laughed. "It doesn't look complicated." Ajay moved a little closer to Renee, "Whacha ya mean?" Renee put a hand on Ajay's thigh, "You guys don't look complicated. Your intentions look pure. You both look at each like there is no one else. Like there is nothing else." Ajay felt less tense with Rene's hand on her thigh. She thought for a moment, "Ya. We have a complicated past." Renee gave Ajay a stern look, "So. Obviously it wasn't that bad, otherwise you guys wouldn't be that close. Quit wasting time. Get married and have some kids or something." Ajay forcefully laughed. "Only one of those things were possible."

Renee still had her hand on Ajay's thigh. Ajay reached down and held her hand in hers. Renee smiled and squeezed her hand. They sat in silence for a moment. Renee moved closer to Ajay, their bodies were now touching. Renee leaned her head on Ajay's shoulder. "Maybe someday you'll find someone less complicated." Renee closed her eyes. "I am too complicated to be with someone less complicated than me. Sometimes I just need to be alone anyways." Ajay knew how that felt. "Besides, this is nice." Renee squeezed Ajay's hand again. Ajay wasn't sure if she meant her situation was nice or being here, in this moment was nice.

Ajay's thoughts were soon interrupted by Elliot and Octavio laughing about decoys and jump pads. They seemed really happy. Renee sat up, still holding Ajay's hand, "Did you guys start drinking without us?" Elliot started whistling like a little kid. Octavio immediately answered, "Si." Renee shot Elliot a very serious look. Elliot smirked back at her, "Okay. Okay. Okay." He lost track of what he was saying as Renee interrupted him, "That's one too many okays." Elliot suddenly remembered what he wanted to say, "We." Octavio cut in, "You." He was referring to Elliot who began speaking again, "Thought you guys had already started without us." Renee stood up pulling Ajay with her. "How the fuck would we start if there is no alcohol because you had to go buy it?" Elliot forced a smile, "Luck? Like that one time that your whole team launched off a jump pad because you saw a decoy and then fell off the map, costing you the match." He ran to restock the bar, pretending to send out a decoy behind him; or maybe he really did try to send a decoy out behind him and he was too buzzed to realize that he didn't have decoys to send out. Renee released Ajay's hand and chased after him.
