Righteous or Self-Righteous 2

Welcome Brothers and Sister to another chapter of Bible Teachings, today we are continuing from the last chapter where we are discussing Righteous and Self-righteous. For the first part we talk we talk about how those who live a self-righteous person will see themselves and declare they are good people. Many who will considered good by their own ways will be judge for this and how their own efforts or ways of good is the same as trying to cleanse yourselves in dirty rags used up. This is truth that no one will deny or avoid no matter their own efforts. For anyone that relies on their own strength will live a vain and self-glorifying life. Not many will like hearing this and many who will be scoffing this off. Yet in this day and age this has become too common and all of us that seek God first time or for many days to years, must live in submission to God and live humbly.

Righteous living

First and foremost before anyone gets any ideas, if you who are Christian, saints and believers of Faith. I only ask all of you, have you asked God to examine your life and how you live that is pleasing or is self-indulging? For if you claim to be Righteous, then two things you should look at yourself and asked "Do I judge others for their sins and their wrong deeds? Or have I lived in truth and righteous by God's standards?" If any of you answer in both yes and no, then either you truly are living by God's standards or if you said them for both different reasons then much is need work in your life and those around you.

For those living in God's standards by saying "Yes" as you have done so either by days or years is good for you. If you say "No" because you know that your not the righteous one by your strength only by God's then you are correct that only through our Lord Jesus are we living by Truth and righteous life. However, if say "Yes" only to sounding boasting, pleasing yourself or try to look good in others eyes, then I can only pray that God would help you at this time. If you say "No" because you have acknowledge your life is sinful and you truly seek, then you have made the first steps towards repentance. For all men are born sinners and if we come to acknowledge this and repent to God then we are taking the first steps towards redemption.

When you live by God's standards and start your walk in the spirit, you are living by what God has planned for you this life until our next life. But let me say this now, there is a reason why there is only the narrow and straight path towards heaven. First is the pathways towards Heaven is not the easiest because it was something seen in front of us. Imagine that your life, but in a soul form is walking through this world base on what you see through your living body. However the spirit world that is always in consist spiritual warfare is shown in true form what your soul is leading by either of God from Heaven or God of this world. For everyone that lives for the world and rejects God, think of the world your soul is walking is born blind. But it gets worse, not only did God gave your soul a map, tools and instructions to how you should live and die by your body. You then reject this and walk the world as some blind man that doesn't realize everything around you is dying. The spiritual world of this planet earth is shown two paths, one made of God and one for this world. You continue to walk in this world by your pleasures, by how you find pleasing and entertaining yourself. Yet one day your body is slowly dying and your soul remains on the ground of this world by the seen world of our body. But once you die and only things remains is your soul, the ground no longer hold you up and soon the world breaks away as you fall down and burn for disobeying God and living for yourself or by your standards. That is how many people will live and that is how many will equally die. Yet those who have found faith, hope and love of God, following by his standards and found the truly narrow and straight path will be lead towards Heaven through Jesus.

There is much to considered when you want to live by God's standard, first is the laws of Moses aka Ten commandments. All of them are to be obey and followed, know that when you break one law, all the laws are broken because you place in your hearts thoughts about which sin is worse or least among the sins. Many who think this will break all the laws every time. While we have the 10 commandments we also have two of the greatest laws given to us by Christ Jesus himself. First law is to love God with all your heart, mind, body, will and soul. That means worship God with all your might even at your weakest. Then his second command is love your neighbor as you love yourself, this command tends to be brush off along with the first. For the second commandment means love those who are friends, family, spouse, strangers, enemies, the lost and everyone you meet. If you want to be treated right and respected, then you must do the same for them, that is a high standard yet it's the highest called behind worshiping God with all your being.

Along with these commandments you also have what Paul has written inspired by God. You have the armor God, which is by explanation for that time how to fight off this world and how we are called to serve the Lord. They are Belt of Truth, living in truth and doer of truth by your actions, words and thoughts. Breastplate of Righteous, same as the truth you must do this everyday and moment of your life, know living righteous will never be our standards but God's alone. Gospel of Peace, live in peace even when troubles have occurred or when your life is in turmoil or those you care about are struggling. Shield of Faith, lead your life by faith in God and by faithfulness when traversing the unknown, uncertain or when you have no one to lean on except God who is there in spirit unseen, hear God's words and live by his words in faith. Helmet of Salvation, this here is always at work the moment we place our trust in Lord Jesus and how he sanctified us everyday. Sword of Spirit, is our only weapon against the temptations of this world, in fact all of the armors of God is used through the Word of God. Yet they are used for different purpose to serve us in times of good and bad, we use them to protect those around us and ourselves from what this world will offer.

Fruits of the Spirit is another trait Paul explains for us to have as followers of Christ. First is love, this is what defines God in many names and many ways how God has done what he does for his perfect will and plan. This trait is most important for us to live by doing this for others without rewards, without recognition, without boasting of ourselves and without selecting only those we see fit. Love is kind, love is patient, love is sacrifice, love is suffering for others, love is many things as we must have this to not only serve, but also care for everyone we see or meet, for you were once these people and you must be willing to serve everyone instead of yourself. I say this as the ability to serve others cannot be achieve by our own strength no matter how hard we try, but by God's own power.

Second is Joy, not the most easiest along with Love as this world tends to break this by media of negative news or people that would rather hate or grumble everyday. Yet if you are follower of God you cannot live without having Joy in your life. Third is Peace, simply no matter the circumstance or situation, do not allow the worldly troubles to bring you down. Fourth is patience, if you have love in yourself then be patient for others, they may annoy you, mock you, or other worse things in your life, you must have patients in you. Fifth is Kindness, this trait many of us can have, yet true kindness if through doing something without being rewarded, willing to forgive others, and help those even when they have done wrong to you and to those around you. Sixth is Goodness that are shared along side Kindness, if you have kindness then your deeds of Goodness will follow. Seventh is faithfulness, all of us tend to forget this as this implies if we are living by faith and know the words of God by faith, then we must act on faith, doers of faith in deeds from faithfulness and faith. Eighth is gentleness, willingness to be gentle along with kindness no matter who they are is something we must have in our lives. And finally is Self-control, the biggest problem we have is no self-control as this will help other fruits of spirit be more active and our willingness to control ourselves.

What I just describe is all connecting fruits of spirit that all of us should have in our daily living. This along with Armor of God, the ten commandments along with Christ Jesus two greatest commandments, you will see is more and more as you start to live in God and doer of his works.

Now I will ask again, are you living righteous by God's standards or yourself? This is hard as the more you seek God and live by both words and action, the more you start to see and understand God as your life changing way towards him will increase and you have realize what is missing in your life. Living righteous was never an easy task nor is it something all of us can declare having or say we live this life as many of us can fall into temptations that makes us believe we are right without God. Be forewarned that anyone that lives by Human standards will not live as how God wants us to live. Folks considered where you stand and considered how you live?
