Thank you so much to all you lovely readers who read, reviewed, and favorited Wreckage. I cherish each one of you!

Huge thanks to two of the brightest colors on the spectrum of this story- my beta, Frannie (Fran S. Flower), and pre-reader Angela (AngelaAbbot). I owe you both so much!

Chapter 38

'Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain.'

-Unknown

They were the seasons of highs and lows.

Some days were good, others were bad, and a few were one step forward and ten steps back.

But struggle they did, becoming both teachers and students of life.

Isabella grew to trust them, forged new bonds, and learned the true meaning of the word, 'family.'

The Cullens learned that frailty did not always mean a lack of strength; that being vampires did not automatically damn them.

Not when choices were all that mattered.

And being humane was more important than being human.

So, they learned and taught together …

Until her past caught up with her.

I know this was a filler chapter, but it was necessary to bring forth the lessons that the Cullens and Bella are learning together. In a way, they all need each other.

The next chapter will be up on Monday where we will learn exactly how Bella's past caught up with her.

Until next time!

Love,

Ansha

PS: The quote of this chapter is one of my personal favorites.
