Hetty's office, evening
Granger was waiting for Hetty when she eventually came to the office.
'I was worried about you today.' He said.
'Yes, I know. I read all of your phone messages. I laughed at a few of them. You know I'm too smart to end up lying in a ditch.' Hetty responded.
'Well, you never know.'
'Needless to say, I was okay the whole time.'
'Well, you still could've let me know you were disappearing. Aren't we supposed to work together?' He asked.
'Dear. We're trained to disappear the way we do. If I was in trouble, I would've let you know before I disappeared.'
'Do you want Anna to work with us?'
'I offered her a job, I'm not sure if she'll take it.' Hetty responded.
'Would you like it if she took the job?'
'Yes. But I'm not going to force her. Want a drink?' Hetty asked.
A few drinks and one rowdy night later
'Oh man. What time is it?' Granger asked.
'Mmm. Not so loud.' Hetty groaned.
'4 in the morning!'
'Ow! My head hurts! What happened last night?!'
'Uh. I remember us drinking. And um, I remember us laughing, and I think there was dancing, but that's all I got.' Granger answered.
'Oh. OH! If we did anything, the security cams caught it. I have to get up to OPS and erase the footage before the others get here!' Hetty exclaimed.
'Yeah, I don't feel like awkwardly explaining us acting weird while drunk. It's that, that leather jacket you're wearing! Why do you have to look so hot in leather?!'
'Oh! So you're blaming our drunk evening on me looking hot?! That's real rich, Owen! Real rich!' Hetty shouted, while stumbling to get up.
'Just, um. Just erase that footage. I'll get us stuff for hangovers.'
Hetty somehow managed to stumble up to OPS. She saw the footage of the night beforeā¦
And smiled.
She deleted the footage, but not before making a copy to a flash drive to put in a safe place as a happy memory of a great night, to eventually remember later when her head didn't feel like exploding.
