Cedric stared at the very steep tunnel, leading up to the girl's bathroom, and couldn't even see a light at the end of the deep, dark space. Thank Merlin there's some lighting down here.

"Well, how the hell are we supposed to get out of here? Ginny? How did you usually get out?" asked Steve, frowning, squinting up the slope.

"... This is my first time down here," she whispered, her voice very small.

Steve clasped her shoulder, patting it sincerely, and ignored the glares that her brothers sent his way, "There's got to be a lever or something to make stairs, otherwise, how the hell did You-Know-Who get out of here?"

"What if You-Know-Who just sort of… Rode the snake out?"

Everyone turned to Ron. Who turned bright red.

"...Well, now that that horribly horrifying, terrifying image is in my mind, perhaps we can transfigure some stairs as we go?" said Percy, voice stiff.

"Percy, if you still feel as if you're magic is up to it, you terrify me," said Cedric, tiredly.

"Erm, aren't phoenixes supposed to be able to carry enormous loads?" asked Harry, awkwardly.

Everyone turned to stare.

Cedric personally thought that a bird shouldn't have the right to appear so smug.
