It was the wee hours of the morning. Chat Noir changed back into Adrien and plopped down on the bed. "That villain was so tough," he yawned. Plagg slept on his pillow.

Marinette plopped down on the bed and yawned. "Finally." She pecked her little kwami's cheek. "Good night, Tikki."

"Sleep tight, Marinette."

She closed her eyes for two seconds and then her phone's alarm went off. "Rise and shine everyone! Today is Heroes Day. A day when you too can be a hero!"

Marinette's eyes widened. "Heroes Day?!" She tore the blanket off her and ran down the stairs in a hurry. "I completely forgot to plan my good deed today!"

"And the fact that you were up all night saving Paris isn't enough of a good deed?"

"No, Tikki. Because that was a secret and Ladybug's good deed. Heroes Day is when everyday citizens perform a good deed for other people's benefit. Come on." Marinette opened her purse and Tikki flew in. Marinette went into the kitchen and found her parents, who were in the process of making a life-sized Ladybug cake. "Dad, Mom, it's Heroes' Day today!"

Tom handed her a box of macarons. "Just like every year, sweetie. I've put one of every flavor in there for each of your classmates."

"You can't get much better than that in the good deed department."

Marinette smiled at her mother and hugged the two of them. "You guys are MY heroes."

At Adrien's, the boy was brushing his teeth, ignoring Plagg's grumbling. "Heroes Day... We're already heroes. Come on, let's go back to bed!"

Adrien smelled the little kwami's cheesy breath and gagged. "Do you really have to eat that so early in the morning?" Plagg smiled.

Adrien grabs his bag (with Plagg hiding inside it) and looked out the window to see his father in front of his mother's statue in the garden. After all these years, neither of them truly got over her disappearance. He turned to leave. He went down the grand staircase to find Nathalie waiting for him.

"The fencing hall is booked for 6:05 p.m. and the Chinese classroom for 6:35 p.m. just as you wished, and remember that you have to make an appearance in the Agreste Foundation's Heroes Gala."

"I'll be there for sure," he said as he left the mansion, escorted by his bodyguard.

Nathalie met with Gabriel in the garden. His gaze never left his wife's statue as he said to her, "If it were to fail Nathalie, I could never forgive myself."

"You made a promise to your wife. You've risked so much for the chance to bring her back." Nathalie showed Gabriel an image of a certain red-haired girl on her tablet. "Lila Rossi has been harboring her rage against Ladybug for months, and today wherever she looks, she'll see the object of her hatred, and as predicted, her anger will reach devastating heights. Your plan is perfect, sir."

"And you're sure you want to do this?"

"I will always be here for you. We will succeed."

At Collège Françoise Dupont, Lila was having a live video footage session with the classroom. "Hi, everyone!"

"We can't wait to hear what you've been doing since our last video chat. Tell us about your week in the Kingdom of Achu," said Miss Bustier.

"It's absolutely amazing! Prince Ali invited me and my parents to his gorgeous palace."

Marinette checked her phone and found something interesting. She raised her hand and said, "Excuse me, Lila, but Prince Ali couldn't possibly have invited you because he is in the United States."

Lila's eye twitched a little, but she kept wearing her cheerful smile. "I never said he was actually there, Marinette. I just said he invited us, that's all. His parents organized the visit-"

Marinette scoffed and muttered to herself, "She's lying, and I'll expose her for the fake that she is."

Alya shook her head and face palmed. "Oh no, Marinette, not that again. She's not a liar. You're just jealous of Lila because she tried to hit on Adrien."

"Nu-uh. Not. True."

Lila said, "I miss you guys so much. It's so hard being away on this magical trip so far from my friends, and especially on Heroes Day."

Everyone in the classroom went "Awww!" Everyone except Marinette, who frowned silently and Rudi who whispered, "What a load of horse-"

"Lila, what good deed are you planning to do on this special day," Miss Bustier asked.

"Today I'll be meeting up with Prince Ali to show him an idea I came up with. Marinette? Prince Ali is coming back to Achu today, isn't he?"

Marinette, looking up from her phone, said bitterly, "Yeah, that's right."

"What idea is this, Lila?" asked Max.

"I'm sure it's amazing!" Rose cheered.

Marinette bit down on her phone.

"Oh, it's nothing much! During our world travels, my diplomat parents have helped me convince the leaders of several nations to agree to reduce world pollution. And I'm very optimistic that the prince will jump on board." Lila's words made Adrien shake his head. Even he could see through Lila's fibs.

"That's incredible, Lila! Thank you on behalf of planet Earth," said Miss Bustier.

"Well sure. Superheroes like Ladybug might save lives, but they couldn't care less about the environment, so somebody has to come to the rescue." Marinette gritted her teeth and slammed her head on her desk.

"I'm sure Ladybug would be very impressed by what you're doing."

"Thank you for your encouraging words. I'm sorry, but it's late here with the time difference. As you can see behind me, the sun's already going down. I have to leave you now. See you soon!"

"Thank you so much for calling us, Lila. And good luck with your project."

"Bye!" almost everyone said as Lila hung up.

In her room in Paris, Lila's cheerful smile vanished as she put her phone down and closed out of Prince Ali's blog she had on her laptop. Suddenly, she heard footsteps approaching. She turned around and saw her mother. "Who were you talking on the phone?"

"Mom, you know perfectly well that was my boyfriend, Adrien. He misses me so much he can't stop calling."

"And school still hasn't reopened yet?"

"No. It's too dangerous with all these akumatizations happening."

Even her own mother couldn't see through her daughter's lies.

At that moment, her phone rang. "Oh. That's your principal now." But before she could answer it, Lila snatched the phone out of her hand.

"Don't answer it!" Mrs. Rossi made a surprised expression. Lila said calmly as she handed the phone back, "He's been akumatized too! Another poor soul that useless Ladybug was unable to save."

Mrs. Rossi was surprised to hear this coldness from her daughter. Suddenly, they heard cheering. They looked outside to see a parade going on with giant floats that resembled the Miracle Heroes. And not just Ladybug and Chat Noir, but also Rena Rouge and Carapace and even Queen Bee surprisingly.

Lila closed the curtain in a huff. Her mother patted her head and hugged her. "All these akumatizations are quite concerning. I'll bring it up at our next embassy meeting." She kissed her and turned to leave. "Ciao my bella! Your lunch is in the fridge. I'll try not to be home too late."

"Come back soon!" At the sound of the door closing, Lila's smile vanished and it was replaced by an angry scowl.

Miss Bustier addressed the classroom, "Well, it isn't going to be easy living up to Lila's standards but let's not forget that we can all be heroes for this one day. We may not have Prince Ali as a friend but..."

Suddenly, Mr. Damocles burst into the room, garbed in his Owl costume. "We do have imagination. Hoo! Hoo!" He turned on the projector and showed an image of the Miracle Heroes. "This year, Ladybug and Chat Noir have been our heroes, protecting us from the terrible Hawk Moth. They've shown us that heroism is beyond comic books and fairy tales. Heroism is real, and it is up to you to show us how Ladybug and Chat Noir brought out the best in all of us. By being everyday heroes."

Watching the picture, something in Rudi started to boil and his eye started twitching.

"So what heroic deeds have you all planned?" asked Miss Bustier. "Nino?"

"I gotta admit, I've never used to do anything for anyone before, but Ladybug and Cat Noir have shown me what being cool is really about." Adrien and Marinette made a surprised smile while Rudi started to clench his fists. "So this year, I'm going to visit the elderly residents at the local retirement home and play them all their favorite songs."

"Adrien?"

"Today I plan to give my fencing classmates a lesson in Chinese and my Chinese classmates a lesson in fencing."

"Alya?"

"Last year, I wrote an article about equipping public buildings with disabled access. But after seeing Ladybug and Cat Noir going that extra mile every single day, I decided that I, too, can do better. So I got the mayor's approval to improve facilities so that handicap kids can actually attend our school."

"What about you, Marinette?"

"Uh...so I, uh, yeah. I have...macarons."

Chloe let out a scoff. "Wow, like every year? You obviously went above and beyond, Dupain-Cheng."

Alya chided her, "Hey! She did what she could, and that's better than nothing."

"Hey, I am doing something. Now that I'm a superhero myself, I'll be signing autographs for anyone who wants one."

"Wait! It's not just macarons for us. I'm actually organizing a school-wide macaron tasting." That got everyone's attention. "Yeah. And they'll be more than just macarons, too. They'll be pastries and pies and fruits and cakes for anyone who wants them. I invite everybody to the biggest tasting at the park tonight."

"Cake for everyone!" Ivan exclaimed excitedly and everyone cheered.

"And I'll send invitations to everyone," said Rudi as he grabbed his phone. "'Party at Collège Françoise Dupont. Booze and babes for everybody.'"

"Wait, don't send that," Miss Bustier exclaimed.

"Too late!"

"Ooh dear."

After class, Rudi returned home and met his parents. "Hi, Mom, Dad."

"Rudi, are we invited to the party too?" asked his mother. She had a smile on her face, but her eyes were stern.

He raised an eyebrow. "What party?"

"The party at the school," said his father sternly. "The one with 'booze and babes for everybody'?"

Rudi's eyes widened. He sent those invitations to everyone on his contact list?! "That...that was just a joke. See, Marinette is doing a banquet at the school and I thought a little...humor could be a good form of advertisement. I also thought it would be a good deed for Heroes Day."

"Helping an old lady cross the street is a good deed. This...this is not."

"Yeah, you didn't have to be so...pervy," said Mrs. Schaefer.

"Just a bit of fun." His parents frowned at him. "You want to come anyway, don't you?"

"Yep," Mr. Schaefer said. "As long as there's no booze and babes."

"Promise," Rudi said as he went upstairs.

He went to his room, plopped onto the bed and then screamed into his pillow. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Why is Chloe getting a freaking float in her honor WHILE I'M NOT?! I helped Ladybug and Chat Noir more times than anyone! I helped stop more bad guys than that fox Rena Rouge! And I'm the one who tries to make it more entertaining with my antics! Where's my float?! Where's my poster?!"

So, what are you going to do about it?

A wicked smile spread across his face as he responded to the Mask. "Crash the party. They didn't honor me? I'll make Heroes Day a day that will live in infamy."

That's what I'm talking about.

Marinette had her own problems to deal with. When she told her father what she was planning, he scratched the back of his head. "Oh, wow. That's not the same as every year, Marinette."

"How 'bout just half, then? 500 macarons, 100 pies, 300 sweet buns, and just 1000 croissants. That should be enough."

Tom shook his head, glancing at the Ladybug cake he just completed. "If I didn't have this giant Ladybug cake to finish by tonight, I would gladly rise to the challenge but there's simply no way I can do both. I've committed myself, Marinette. I can't let the mayor down."

"And I committed myself way over my head," the girl said, disappointed in herself. "Now I'm gonna let my whole class down."

Sabine put a hand on her shoulder. "It's not too late to tell them the truth. Your friends will understand."

"But it won't be very heroic."

"Yes, it will. Being brave enough to face one's mistakes is heroic."

Hearing this, Marinette put on a face of determination. "You're right," she said as she grabbed an apron. "If I get to work right away, I'll have enough time to make the macarons by myself." That's...not what her parents had in mind.

In Hawk Moth's lair, Nathalie recieved a text from Adrien, who at this point was in the mansion, eating dinner. Alone. Again. "Sir, Adrien has a special request. He'd like to go to a picnic tonight."

Hawk Moth smirked. "Fine. The plan is already in motion. Soon Paris will mourn their heroes."

Lila was still fuming as she watched footage of the parade on her laptop. " Liar! Traitor! Coward!" She slammed the laptop closed and turned on the TV. As fate would have it, it was a newscast of Nadja Chamack interviewing Gabriel Argreste. "In honor of the wonderful Ladybug who has saved my son Adrien and myself, and who relentlessly protects all of us everyday, I have financed this tribute to Ladybug. Because Ladybug is the only true hero unlike her mediocre imitations, such as Volpina."

Lila let out a scream of rage and threw her laptop into the TV, destroying both of them. "I HATE YOU, LADYBUG!"

The circular window to Hawk Moth's lair opened as butterflies swarmed around him. "You were right, Nathalie. It's all going according to plan." He grabbed one of the butterflies and turned it from white to purple. "Fly away, my little akuma and evilize the one who's been waiting your return for so long."

When the akuma absorbed itself into her bracelet, she made an evil smile when she heard that baritone voice in her mind. "Volpina."

"Hello, Hawk Moth."

"Your dreams were once a reality until Ladybug turned them into a nightmare. Regain your power of illusion and make this Heroes Day a nightmare for all Parisians."

"With great pleasure, Hawk Moth."

Meanwhile, Big-Head leaned against a chimney, going over a to-do list. "Let's see. Painting the heroes' posters, modifying their statues, sabotage the confetti cannons with cement, replace the candles on the Ladybug cake with roman candles... Yep, I've got this in the bag." Suddenly, he heard a scream. He looked down at the street and what did he see? Himself, standing over a battered and bruised Ladybug and Chat Noir. "What the hell, last time I checked, I was Big-Head."

He watched as the imposter pulled out a gun and twirled it. Ladybug gurgled, "Stop...please..."

"Why?" asked the imposter. "Where's MY float? Where's MY statue in my honor? Why aren't anyone asking ME for autographs?"

"We'll find a way-"

BLAM! BLAM!

Ladybug and Chat Noir dropped to the floor. People witnessing this let out screams of horror. "Sorry, I didn't quite catch that," said the imposter.

Rudi tore off the Mask and ducked behind the chimney. "Oh, that's not good! Not good at all!"

Why is it?

"Did you see that?! That phony killed Ladybug and Chat Noir and everyone thinks I did it!"

You worry too much. Besides, didn't you see that it wasn't even real?

"I know that Big-Head wasn't real!"

No. I mean those Ladybug and Chat Noir guys weren't real. Didn't you see Volpina hiding behind the Ladybug float?

Rudi's eyes widened when he heard that. "Volpina?" Then he let out a growl. "Lila. I'm gonna kill that bitch and..." He stopped when he realized, "And give the people another excuse to hate me. Big-Head can't show his face again in Paris without Ladybug and Chat Noir around. There has to be a way to get the real deals to come out of hiding and show the people I'm innocent, but how?" Suddenly his phone began to buzz. "Damn it. School's about to start. I'll think about it later."

In his lair, Hawk Moth chuckled with glee. "So much sadness. So much disappointment. I can feel the chasm of despair and fear about to open and swallow up every single Parisian. Dear Volpina, you've performed your role well for the time being. We'll meet again soon."

Volpina smirked as she turned back into Lila. "I'll be waiting, Hawk Moth."

Hawk Moth turned to Nathalie as he created a new akuma. "Are you ready, Nathalie?"

"They've been keeping you from achieving your dream for way too long. I will go to any lengths to end the reign of Ladybug and Chat Noir and Big-Head."

"Good." The akuma flew into Nathalie's tablet. "Catalyst. You have always been my most loyal supporter. I give you the ability to boost powers." Nathalie's outfit turned into a black jumpsuit and a black helmet with a red visor.

Catalyst touched Hawk Moth's cane and his outfit changed from purple to red. "Hawk Moth, I give you the power to release as many akumas as you desire. From now on, you are the all-mighty Scarlet Moth."

Scarlet Moth smirked as he activated his powers and turned a whole bunch of butterflies from white to red. "Fly away my little akumas. Find the Parisians as they despair over Chat Noir and Ladybug's final hour and evilize each and every one of them!"

Back at her house, Marinette was trying to make up for lost time and was frantically trying to bake as many pastries that she could. "I've got 32 minutes until the end of lunch break. At a rate of 10 macarons per minute that works out to..." She coughed when she pulled the macarons out of the oven and smelled the smoke. "...one big fail! Ah! Tikki, help me!"

Tikki asked, "Do you want me to go back and fetch some more sugar?"

"Why don't you just transform me into Ladybug instead? With a bit of luck, my Lucky Charm will give us a giant electric whisk or an oven full of quiches." The little kwami gave her a disapproving frown. She groaned, "I know. It wouldn't be very hero-like of me to use my powers just for my own purposes."

"Just tell your friends the truth, Marinette."

"But that'll spoil the whole party."

"Today's Heroes Day, Marinette. Nothing can spoil the party."

Marinette had a feeling in her stomach that told her the little kwami was wrong.

Marinette sighed sadly as she walked to the school. "Well, anyone can get carried away from time to time. Oof!" She suddenly bumped into someone. "Ooh, I'm so sorry! I didn't look where I was going."

Rudi got up and dusted himself off. "It's fine, lover girl. You okay? And why do you smell like your house was on fire?"

"Oh, it's nothing. Just a baking accident. Baking is what I do! Baking is what my parents do!"

Rudi raised an eyebrow. "You didn't really have that many pastries baked for a school-wide taste test, did you?"

"What? No, of course not!"

"Marinette, I know you. Face it, you're a terrible liar."

Marinette slumped down and groaned. "It's true! I didn't bake enough for the entire school! I just wanted to one-up Chloe so bad..."

"Just go tell them the truth."

"And what? Let everybody down?"

"Hey, they may be a bit disappointed, but they'll understand. Nobody could hate you. Except Lila."

Marinette thought it over then exhaled in acceptance. "Guess I have to pay the piper."

The two of them walked to the school's front gates and were met with Adrien. "Marinette! This is awesome! My father gave me permission to come to your tasting."

"Yeah, about that..." Rudi was about to say when Marinette put a hand over his mouth.

"Wait. I got this."

Adrien made a sad face. "You didn't make enough pastries for me, is that it?"

"Oh no! We've got plenty! You're so cute. I mean, uh, it's so cute - cool. It's cool that you can make it."

Rudi frowned at Marinette. "You 'got this', huh?"

"Shut up," Marinette hissed as the three of them walked to school and were met with a strange sight. The entire student body were gathered in the courtyard, their eyes glued to their phones and...crying.

"What's going on?" Rudi asked.

Rose showed him, Marinette and Adrien the news on her phone. Nadja Chamack was doing a live interview with Jagged Stone and Clara Nightingale; the latter two were dressed entirely in black. "It is a dark day for all of Paris," said Nadja. "Ladybug and Chat Noir, slain by the notorious Big-Head Killer." Marinette and Adrien gasped when she said that. "According to eyewitnesses, he killed them because there was no tribute to him even though he helped Ladybug and Chat Noir on multiple occasions."

"Ooh," Rudi said awkwardly.

Jagged Stone bawled like a baby. "Ladybug and Chat Noir, dead! There's no reason to rock on anymore!"

"The inspiration of my music is gone," wept Clara.

Suddenly, a swarm of red butterflies surrounded them and transformed them into red versions of Prime Queen, Guitar Villain and Frighteningale.

"Dear viewers, what does make sense is getting ready for the coming of..."

"...our new lead rock star..."

"...Scarlet Moth!"

"That can't be good," Rudi said as more of those red butterflies swarmed around the school and started turning people into red versions of their akumatized forms. Mylène became Horrificator, Ivan became Stoneheart, Max turned into Gamer and Rose turned into Princess Fragrance.

Strangely, they were completely ignoring Chloe as she sauntered through the swarm and said calmly, "It's okay. No need to panic. I know what I have to do." She took off running to home. She had a plan forming.

Meanwhile, Juleka was trembling in fear as more of the red butterflies approached her. "S-Stay away from me!"

Marinette shouted to her, "Don't let fear control you, Juleka."

Miss Bustier shouted as she swatted at the butterflies with her tablet without showing an ounce of fear, "Remember now! There's a hero in every one of us."

Mr. Damocles, still garbed in his Owl costume, fired at the butterflies with his grappling gun. "As long as we show we're not scared. Hoot hoot!"

Juleka exhaled, calming herself down. In an instant, the butterflies flew away from her.

Alya saw how the butterflies ignored Chloe and Juleka when they showed no fear and realized, "That's it! We can't let fear get the better of us!" She grabbed onto a trembling Nino, comforting him. Immediately, the butterflies ignored them. She grabbed her phone and called her sister, "Nora, whatever you do, don't let fear get ahold of you, you got me?"

Nora scoffed as she crushed three butterflies with a broomstick. "Fear? Little sister, fear is afraid of me!" Etta and Ella cheered her on.

More and more people were being akumatized by the second. Marinette, Adrien and Rudi split up and ran to different directions. Marinette hid in the bathroom and let out Tikki. "Too many people have been akumatized. It'd be foolish to try to fight them all. We must go see Master Fu right away. Tikki, SPOTS ON!" Tikki was sucked into the earrings and in a flash of red and black, Marinette turned into Ladybug.

Meanwhile, Adrien tried to go into the locker room to transform, but was suddenly grabbed by Gorizilla. Hawk Moth spoke to all his minions. "Good, Gorizilla. Whatever happens, do not release Adrien. His safety is your number one priority. Now, come my dear akumatized friends."

Gorizilla took Adrien away from the fight; Plagg and Adrien looked at each other, and after Adrien gave him an approving nod, Plagg snuck up behind the two and used Cataclysm on the ground below them to make Gorizilla drop Adrien; when he did, Adrien ran and hid behind a dumpster.

"See that? I barely destroyed anything."

Adrien patted the little kwami's head. "You're my hero. Plagg, CLAWS OUT!" Plagg was sucked into the ring and in a flash of black, Adrien turned into Chat Noir.

Ladybug jumped onto the school roof, watching all the villains starting to congregate. But to where? Suddenly, a voice rang out. "Yo, Ladybird Beetle!" Ladybug turned to see Big-Head, leaning on a butterfly net with thousands of red akumas trapped inside. "Enjoying Heroes Day?"

"I have nothing to say to you."

"What?! Oh, come on, you think I did that? Man you're stupid! How could I kill you and Chat Noir when you're STANDING RIGHT HERE?!"

"It may not have been the real me and Chat Noir, but it is something you would do," Ladybug snapped as she jabbed a finger in his chest. "You could potentially kill me and Chat Noir if you wanted to!"

"But...I don't. Maybe drive you insane with mean pranks, but never kill. Besides, it'll be a lot less fun if you're dead. And another thing, I already know who's behind that so-called attack. It was Lila, or should I say Volpina?"

"Volpina?" Ladybug's eyes widened. "It was an illusion!"

"Bingo. Now, all we gotta do is show everyone you're still alive and I'll be proven innocent!"

"There he is!" Ladybug and Big-Head turned to see Timebreaker along with Mime. "He's the cause of all this!" Mime nodded in agreement.

"Wait!" Big-Head waved his hands defensively. "I'm not the bad guy! Look," he grabbed Ladybug and said, "See? It's alright! She's alive!"

"It's just a trick! I don't believe you anymore! I will have that Mask!"

"I don't think they can be reasoned with," said Ladybug. "We gotta go!

"Why don't we take my car, then?"

"A car?"

Big-Head grabbed Ladybug and they leaped down into the street and into Adrien's limo. Big-Head smirked when he saw the keys still in the ignition. "Buckle up."

"Wait! I have to...WAAAAAAHHHHH!"

The limo sped off with Timetagger chasing after them. Soon, she was joined by Frozer, who used the ice he created to catch up to the limo. Big-Head leaned out the window and shot at Frozer's feet, sending him tumbling into a parked truck. Timebreaker dodged the bullets and tagged more people to pick up speed until she was at arm's length at the driver's side door.

"Big-Head, look out for the RICKSHAAAAWWWW!" Ladybug screamed as the limo was about to collide with Theo Barbot and his rickshaw. Big-Head made a sharp turn and went down the opposite lane, avoiding a crash. Timetbreaker wasn't so lucky and crashed into the rickshaw.

Big-Head and Ladybug heard sirens and they looked to see Rogercop and an army of police officers behind him. "Rogercop's right behind us!"

"Not for long, Ladybird Beetle!" Big-Head put the limo in reverse and pulled into an alley. "Now he's right in front of us!" He exited the alley and back into the streets, but Rogercop was still pursuing them. It got worse when they looked ahead and saw Reverser flying at them.

"Take the wheel." Big-Head tore the steering wheel out and handed it to Ladybug, who held it in confusion. Big-Head leaned out the window, pulled out a bazooka and fired it at Reverser's paper airplane's left wing. He spun out of control, then crashed into Rogercop. Big-Head took the wheel back and put it back into its socket. "Thanks."

"PULL OVER! I WANT OFF THIS RIDE!"

"Suit yourself." Big-Head put on the breaks and Ladybug was flung out of her seat and out the windshield. "You should have buckled up," he said as he exited the car.

Ladybug pulled the glass out of her hair and brushed herself off. "Thanks for the ride, but I'll take it from here."

"Wait, where are you going? You have to help me prove my innocence!"

"I'm going to get help. And if you want everyone to think you're innocent..." She sent some coordinates to his phone. "Meet us here later. Try not to make things worse than they already are."

"Can't promise you. Wait. 'Us'? Who are you..." He didn't finish his sentence as Ladybug took off with her yo-yo. "...talking about?" He looked at the coordinates. "Might as well see what she's planning," he said as he hopped back into the limo.

Marinette arrived at the massage parlor; Master Fu was waiting for her. "I always knew that one day Hawk Moth would realize just how powerful he could be. That day has come, Marinette." He brought out the Miracle Box and presented it to her. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng, you must pick an ally you can trust to fight alongside you on this mission. Once the mission is over, you will get the Miraculous back from them and return it to me. And above all else, do not let Big-Head get his hands on them. If the magics of the Miraculous and the Mask of Loki mix, there's no telling what could happen."

"Take them all, Marinette," suggested Tikki. "There need to be as many of us as possible."

"No, Tikki. In this case, less is more. I won't have time to explain everything again. I need allies who already know what needs to be done," Marinette said as she took the Fox necklace and Bee comb. "May, I?" she asked Master Fu. He nodded and handed her the Turtle bracelet. "So you want the Miraculouses, Hawk Moth? Then that's what you're going to get!"

Ladybug was running on top of building rooftops when she received a call from her kitty. "Chat Noir?"

"No way I was gonna miss this party, m'lady. Especially with all these guests."

"How many?"

From his hiding spot, Chat Noir watched the army of villains approach the Eiffel Tower. "Too many to count. Looks like Hawk Moth made quite an army for himself." The sound of a tyre screeching made him look the opposite way. "Uh-oh. Sounds like Big-Head is going to crash the party."

Ladybug's eyes widened. "Big-Head?! I told him not to... Oh, why do I even bother? Just wait there. I'll be there."

He didn't have to wait long. "M'lady."

Ladybug handed him the Bee comb. "I have a mission for you."

Back at the school, Nino and Alya were hiding in the locker room. They hadn't seen what happened to everyone else and they didn't want to take their chances in case they were akumatized. "When this is over, I swear I'll take you to the movies," said Alya.

"No, I'll take you to the movies," insisted Alya.

At that moment, Ladybug crawled in through the window and greeted them. "Might I suggest an action movie?"

"Ladybug! You're alive!"

"I'm sorry for what I'm about to do. I know I'm revealing your secret identities but I don't have time to find a good excuse to give them to you separately." She handed them both the Fox and Turtle Miraculous. "Rena Rouge and Carapace, I need you both!"

Nino looked at Alya, shocked. "You're Rena Rouge?"

"Of course I am."

"And you never told me?"

"Had to keep it a secret. Trixx, LET'S POUNCE!" Trixx was sucked into the necklace and in a flash of orange, Alya turned into Rena Rouge.

Nino thought he couldn't be more impressed with his girlfriend. "So awesome!" He put on the bracelet as he smirked. "But aren't you at least a bit surprised that I'm Carapace."

"Just transform, you silly, clueless boy."

"Wayzz, SHELL ON!" Wayzz was sucked into the bracelet and in a flash of green, Nino turned into Carapace.

Meanwhile, back at her penthouse room, Chloe set up a Queen Bee signal and shined it in the sky, expecting Ladybug to answer it. She tapped her foot impatiently, waiting for her hero to arrive. That is until she heard footsteps behind her. "Ugh. I was starting to wonder what was taking you so long." But she didn't see Ladybug, but Chat Noir instead. "Ladybug sent her second fiddle instead of coming herself?"

Chat Noir frowned. "You know what? I'm sure Ladybug can find a much better Queen Bee."

"Wait! Don't go! Okay, okay, we're good. Just give it to me. We've got work to do."

Chat Noir smirked. "What's the magic word?"

"It's buzz on! Everyone knows that."

"Not THAT magic word."

"Oh. Right. Could you give me my Miraculous, Chat Noir? Please."

"Could you repeat that last part?"

"PLEASE!"

Chat Noir stopped teasing her and handed her the comb. Pollen materialized and bowed before her. "Hello, my queen!"

Chloe put the comb in her hair and shouted, "Pollen, BUZZ ON!" Pollen was sucked into the comb and in a flash of gold and black, Chloe turned into Queen Bee.

She followed after Chat Noir across the Paris rooftops...unaware that Walter was spying on them. He held up the black hand card with the Ladybird Beetle symbol and tapped it.

Almost all at once, Ladybug felt an uncomfortable itch in her palm, but she ignored it. Right now, the heroes had to unite and get to Hawk Moth before Big-Head caused anymore trouble.

Ladybug, Rena Rouge and Carapace met up with Chat Noir and Queen Bee at the rooftop of the Palais de Chaillot. Across the way, they could see a whole army of akumatized villains gathered at the Eiffel Tower. Queen Bee asked Ladybug, "Why don't we fly in there and fight already?"

We won't be able to defeat them if don't know what they're planning."

Then they saw him. Hawk Moth or rather Scarlet Moth standing at the viewing platform of the Eiffel Tower. His voice, amplified by magic, echoed across Paris. "Ladybug, Chat Noir, behold my powerful army and have no doubt that today belongs to Scarlet Moth!"

Without realizing it, he gave the people hope again. If he was addressing Ladybug and Chat Noir, they must still be alive!

Suddenly, there was a tremendous explosion and the akumatized villains were sent flying in multiple directions. Crossing the bridge toward the Eiffel Tower was Big-Head, carrying an RPG over his shoulder. "How about we skip to the end to the final boss, Red?" He pointed the weapon right at Scarlet Moth, who just chuckled.

"You think it will be so easy? Minions! Achieve your second forms! Crush Big-Head!"

The Miracle Heroes gasped as they watched the akumatized villains transform into their larger Megakuma forms. "On second thought, I want to go home now," said Queen Bee.
