Buffy clenches her jaw as she stands in the middle of the hall with Isaac on one side of her and Erica to the other side of her, both wolves with their claws out, both wanting to rip her throat out.
Tightening the chains in her hands she holds up her hands "Okay then...can we make this quick? I have homework." With that Erica growls and runs at her the blonde runs at the lockers and presses her foot on the metal allowing her to flip backward through the air before landing behind Erica, spinning the chain she swings it and as it wraps around the werewolf's ankle she yanks on it sending Erica facefirst into the ground.
Letting go of the chain quickly as she hears Isaac coming up behind her, she ducks under his arm, before sliding across the floor and in-between his legs. As she comes up behind him she rips the door off a nearby locker and smashes it right into his jaw sending him crashing to the ground.
Spinning around she spots Erica getting back up and she sighs "Not even a little winded?" She questions but when Erica merely growls at her she sighs before launching the locker right at Erica's head sending her slamming against the wall.
Sensing Isaac now back up again the blonde spins around grabbing his forearm before his claws could reach her, spinning them around she turns and then flips into a front tuck twisting his arm violently as she does, smirking as she lands on her feet, she swings her leg around his head and uses the momentum to swing around him dragging him to the ground.
Rolling off him she slams her foot into his face as he tries to stand. As he drops finally knocked out cold she flips back onto her feet before dropping to her knees as Erica runs at her, swinging her leg out she knocks the werewolf's feet out from under her.
Erica growls and tries to get back to her feet but Buffy grabs her by the back of the head and throws her into the locker "Bitch!" Erica hisses as she stands running at the blonde who chuckles as she spots the chain by her feet "You need to be on a leash, Erica. You're a bad dog." Ducking under Erica's claws she then presses her foot against the lockers jumping up and slamming her fist right into the werewolf's face, grabbing Erica's arm the blonde twists it behind her back before yanking on the bone.
As the bone snaps from place Erica howls in agony and Buffy takes her chance, picking up the chain she wraps it around Erica's neck before slamming her head so hard into the ground she was out cold in a second.
"And that's kicking your ass!" The blonde laughs as she stands before taking a shaky breath, werewolves really did not get winded it was exhausting. Sighing she grabs the end of the chain around Erica's neck and wraps the other half around Isaac's neck before grabbing them both dragging them across the hall towards the closest storage room.
"Buffy?" Scott questions as he runs back into the building onto to spot Buffy dragging the unconscious bodies of Erica and Isaac, he looks down horrified before watching her shove them into the storage room "That outta slow them down." She says before clapping her hands softly getting all the dirt and blood off them.
Scott merely stares before gulping "Please never do that to me."
Buffy chuckles and shrugs "Don't piss me off and you'll be safe."
Scott smiles however both of them freeze as they hear Coach storming down the hall yelling Scott's name. Scott panics, this was bad they needed to get out of here, groaning he turns to Buffy "Go I'll catch up."
Buffy sighs before nodding and turning taking off outside, as she runs into the courtyard she sighs in relief as she spots no sign of the jeep, they got away.
At least for now.
As she begins to run down the road moving to get into the woods to take a short cut to where the others were heading her eyes widen as she hears the honk of a horn and before she could do a thing she is sent flying off her feet as the car hits her and she goes rolling over the top.
Buffy groans as she hits the flood, coughing violently she groans in annoyance as she stares at the gravel floor, of course today of all days she gets hit by a freaking car "Bad day, bad bad day." She whispers before slowly standing, hearing the driver climbing out the car she turns to leave only for her eyes widen as a familiar face appears in front of her, a boy she hadn't seen since she left L.A.
The blonde remains there frozen for a moment before exhaling, she just couldn't believe he was here, what the hell was he doing here "Ford?"
Ford smirks down at his old blonde friend not revealing the baseball bat behind his back "Hey Buffy, long time no see." He says sweetly before his smile falls and before Buffy could do a thing he swings the bat at her head sending her crashing down to the ground.
Buffy groans as she hears voice's she didn't recognize filling her ears, blinking her eyes open she groans at the throbbing pain coming from her head, what was it with people aiming for her head?! The amount of injuries she had there was starting to drive her nuts.
As she pulls herself up she finally takes in her surroundings and she couldn't help but frown, while she was pretty sure she was still in Beacon Hills...or at least hoped, she didn't recognize the building. As she pulls herself up a bit more she quickly realizes they were in an old shut down rave club in the centre of town, while it was great that she was still in Beacon Hills what worried her was what else she was seeing.
Turning the corner slightly her eyes widen in shock as she spots tons of people all dressed in stereotypical Bram Stoker vampire get up, they looked like complete vampire groupies. Buffy couldn't help but find herself confused, what the hell was going on here? Sighing she looks around the room for Ford and that's when she spots him talking to a blonde and a short guy wearing a cape.
"I need them to bless me." The girl tells Ford.
Buffy merely frowns in confusion, she had no idea what was going on but right now but she didn't care, she needed to find the others before Derek and his Beta's could get to Lydia.
"It's gonna be fine." Ford assures the other blonde groupie.
Buffy clenches her jaw before finally stepping out from where they had stored her away "No. It's really not." Sighing the blonde turns to her old friend as she begins walking towards him "I'm sorry Ford, color me confused you pop up in Beacon Hills of all places after 3 years, hit me with a car and then mess with my face. Gotta say a little hurt." As she finally approaches him she couldn't help but stare up at him with such a hurt look he had been on of her closest friends in L.A, hell she even had a massive crush on him but now he drags her into some basement, what was his game plan here "What do you want, Ford? What's this all about?"
Ford merely sighs as he looks down at The Slayer "I really don't think you'd understand."
"I don't need to understand. I just need to know...well actually I need to go I have actual friends who need my help who don't hit me with a baseball bat like the Joker's girlfriend." At her words the blonde couldn't help but sigh, she needed to stop watching Animated cartoons with Stiles on Saturday mornings it was turning her into a dork.
"I'm gonna be one of them." He says simple a small smile grazing his lips, the blonde on the other hand frowns, but slowly she looks around again and that's when she realizes...he knew about her, he knew everything about vampires, the supernatural. And as much as she would love to know how her priorities were going to help the others protect Lydia "You want to be a vampire."
"I'm going to."
The blonde couldn't help but roll her eyes, he was deluded "You know, vampires are a little picky about who they change ov..." As she speaks that's when it hits her, there was a reason he hit her with his car, he needed her, she was his bargaining chip "You were gonna offer them a trade."
Ford clenches his jaw before looking away from the blonde he used to know so well "I don't think I want to talk anymore."
With that Buffy snaps grabbing him by the throat, she shoves him up against the wall ignoring his wince of pain "Yeah, well I still feel awfully chatty. You were gonna give them me tonight."
When he refuses to speak she glares daggers at him before tightening her hand around his throat making him finally gasp and speak "Yes."
Buffy clenches her jaw before releasing him and shaking her head in frustration "I don't have time for your sick twisted little brain. Now if you excuse me." As she moves to the stairs Ford begins laughing like a sick-minded monster "This is perfect." He tells her "It's just like it played in my head. Sort of, I didn't have time to enroll in school and mess with you but still worked out. But this...you know that part where you asked me what's supposed to happen? It's already happening."
The blonde frowns in confusion before she hears a door slam shut, her eyes widen in panic and she legs it up the stairs and runs at the steel door but there was no door handle...feeling it she panics, it was at least 10 inches thick, she wouldn't be able to do that, not in time before sunrise.
Ford chuckles as he walks up the stairs towards her "Rigged up special. Once it's closed, it can only be opened from the outside. As soon as the sun sets, they'll be coming."
Buffy's eyes widen and she couldn't help but stare at the poor humans in the room that believed in him, none of them knew they were going to die "Ford, if these people are still around when they get here..."
"Well be changed. All of us." The guy beside her tells her before the girl from earlier speaks up with such a hopeful voice it broke Buffy's heart slightly "We're going to ascend to a new level of consciousness. Become like them, like the Lonely Ones."
Ford smiles at his followers words before turning back to his old friend "This is the end, Buffy. No one gets out of here alive."
"Please tell me Buffy will be here soon." Lydia says to Stiles as he helps her out of the jeep before he Allison and Jackson lead the strawberry blonde up towards the McCall house.
"She's meeting us here. She's dealing with the problem." He stutters out, he had to admit he was worried, Buffy should have wiped the floor with the werewolves by now, something was wrong he had this feeling in his gut and it wasn't one he enjoyed "I hope."
Allison sighs as she glances down at her phone again, Buffy was supposed to have checked in, neither she nor Scott had texted or called, something must have happened to keep them. Sighing she turns to Jackson grateful for the extra help especially with Buffy and Scott missing "Thanks for this."
Jackson waves her off "I needed to talk to her anyway." He says vaguely before Stiles pulls out the keys Buffy had snuck back to him after Melissa took them again.
Pushing everyone inside he quickly begins doing every lock making Lydia arch a brow "They can't enter if they're not invited." She points out, having no idea that it wasn't vampires after her right now...it was werewolves and they needed no invitation. Rolling her eyes Lydia groans "I'm gonna go through Buffy's clothes." She huffs before heading upstairs, Jackson following straight after her.
As they go Stiles grabs a chain and puts it in front of the door before turning to Allison "Buffy keeps more weapons in her room and some in Scott's she should have more um arrows for your thing..." He says gesturing at her bag where her crossbow was.
"She doesn't keep everything together?"
"Buffy is the least organized person I know. I need to get her a weapons case or something for her birthday. She even has weapons at my house. It's weird. My dad thought I was into some weird stuff."
Sighing he and Allison move into the living room as they go Allison sighs "I think we have a problem."
Stiles groans, he did not need another problem right now, "What now?"
"Buffy never checked in."
Stiles eyes widen and he groans and grabs a pillow shoving his head into it and screaming, could this day get any freaking worse!
Buffy scoffs before looking over the railing down at his other fellow followers before sighing, how did he become this, the guy she knew was so kind and now here he was selling out so many innocent people just so he could live forever "These people aren't gonna get changed, are they? The rest of them, they're just fodder."
Ford nods, he wasn't denying it, he had no reason to "Technically, yes. But I'm in." Opening his mouth his groans as Buffy's phone buzzes again in his pocket "You still prom queen here too?" He asks as he pulls her phone out of her pocket showing the incoming phone call from Allison.
Buffy's eyes widen but before she could do anything he slams her phone against the wall and she groans, she had just got a new phone after she broke the last one. Melissa was going to kill her "I have a friend in danger Ford. They need me."
"I need you." He tells her not caring even a little bit right now "So I can become immortal."
Buffy scoffs, for someone so excited about becoming immortal he clearly didn't know what he was getting into "Well, I've got a news flash for you, Brain Trust. That's not how it works. You die, and a demon sets up shop in your old house. And it walks and it talks and it remembers your life, but it's not you."
Ford goes quiet for a moment before shrugging she just didn't understand his point of view here "It's better than nothing."
"And your life is nothing? Ford my friends and these people are going to die! They don't deserve this!"
"Well, neither do I." He tells her as a flash of the old Ford she knew finally appears, a terrified expression crossing his face "But apparently no one took that into consideration, 'cause I'm still dying. I look good, don't I? Well, let me tell you something, I got maybe six months left, and by then what they bury won't even look like me." Buffy's eyes widen at that and she couldn't help but stare at him with watery eyes, yes what he was doing was wrong and horrible but, she had cared about him at one point in her life and hearing this, she just couldn't even imagine how he felt, but even as he continued she knew it didn't justify what he was doing "I'm gonna be bald..." He tells her "...and shriveled and...I'll smell bad. No, I'm not going out that way."
Buffy inhales tightly and forces herself to turn away from him trying to comprehend everything he had just told her, she just couldn't believe this was happening.
Ford sighs as he watches his old friend "I'm sorry, Summers. Did I screw up your righteous anger riff? Does the nest of tumors liquefying my brain kind of spoil the fun."
The blonde clenches her jaw slightly before finally she turns back to face him a look of pity on her face "I'm sorry. I had no idea." And honestly as she said it she meant it she felt sorry for him, but this still wasn't right "But what you're doing is still very wrong."
"Okay, well, you try vomiting for 24 hours straight because the pain in your head is so intense, and then we'll discuss the concept of right and wrong." When Buffy merely clenches her jaw and continues to glare up at him he sighs and waves his hand at the crowd below "These people are sheep. They want to be vampires 'cause they're lonely, miserable, or bored. I don't have a choice."
"You have a choice." Buffy tells him strongly, yes his options weren't great that was true what was happening to him was cruel and unfair, but he was making a choice to make other people suffer for something they hadn't done, for something that would turn him even more into a monster "You don't have a good choice, but you have a choice." She tells him her voice raising as she tries to get him desperately to understand the real consequences of what he was planning "You're opting for mass murder here, and nothing you say is going to make that okay!"
"You think I need to justify myself to you?"
Buffy who at this point was shaking in anger at the way he had clouded his mind into thinking that these people deserved to die so he could live "I think this is all part of your little fantasy drama!" She screams into his face not hiding her amused look of disgust "Isn't this exactly how you imagined it? You tell me how you suffered and I feel sorry for you. Well, I do feel sorry for you and if those vampires come in here and start feeding, I'll kill you myself."
Ford goes very quiet as he listens to her words before finally he manages to look her in the eye saying something that honestly shocked her after everything "You know what, Summers? I really did miss you."
Buffy's face falls slightly at his words and she tries to hold in her emotions, she had missed Ford when she moved here and seeing him like this, it broke her heart.
However quickly panic begins to refills the blonde as she hears tires screeching outside, they were here. Turning to her old friend she looks up at him with wide desperate eyes hoping that there was still some small part of him that cared "Ford, help me stop this. Please."
Ford gulps slightly but when his face goes hard she scoffs before running past him and over to the top of the staircase "People, listen to me! This is not the mother ship, people! This is ugly death come to play..." Before she could finish Ford backhands her across the face sending her crashing down the stairs, the blonde groans in pain, however as she hears the door finally open she turns her head and her eyes widen as she spots a familiar face.
And not one she was excited to see...it was Spike.
Allison continues to stare at the window with a worried frown, this was bad, very bad, sighing she grabs Stiles' phone off the table and quickly dials Scott, the second he answers she doesn't even give him a beat to speak "It's me."
"What's wrong?"
"You need to get here now." She tells him glancing over at Stiles who had the same panicked expression all over his face, the one that said we are so screwed "Right now. Buffy never showed...it's just us. And they're here."
"Okay I'm leaving now I'm on my way."
With that Allison hangs up and turns to Stiles who sighs, Derek, Boyd, Erica and Isaac were all outside, they were out a werewolf and right now, none of them even knew if Buffy was going to show...or if she had changed her mind and sided with Derek. While Stiles knew she wouldn't...he had to admit a very small part of him was dreading that it might be true...and if it was they were even more screwed...they were all dead.
"Take them all!" Spike tells his minions as he grabs the blonde girl from earlier ripping her chocker from her neck "Save the Slayer for me."
Buffy's eyes widen as vampires begin jumping down and taking down the humans one by one, it was a massacre. However, her focus was quickly turned as she spots Ford swinging a crowbar her way, ducking under his arm she twists him sending him crashing face-first into the wall knocking him out cold.
Stepping away from her unconscious old friend she stares in horror as the humans all screamed their blood being drained drop by drop, however as she looks around something on the upper level catches her eye.
It was her...Drusilla, the woman she had seen in her dream, the one who killed Derek, but right now more importantly she also knew that she was Spike's girl.
Running at the couch in the middle of the room she uses that to launch herself up onto the railing and before the vampire could do a thing Buffy flips over onto the platform and wraps an arm around Drusilla's throat before reaching for her emergency stake in her boot and holding it against her heart "Spike!"
Spike pulls away from the blonde he was feeding on and turns his eyes widening in horror as he spots Buffy holding a stake against his Dru's heart "Everybody stop!" He orders as he releases the blonde and slowly all of the vampires let go of their victims.
Buffy smirks "And here I thought you'd left town. You should have stayed gone, Spike."
Spike opens his mouth to speak but he halts as he spots her press the stake closer against Drusilla, Buffy nods before looking down at the bottom level where most of the humans were now crying realizing they had made a big mistake "Now, you let everybody out, or your girlfriend fits in an ashtray."
Spike hesitates for a moment never letting his eyes leave Drusilla before finally he speaks succumbing to the Slayer's demands "Let them go."
And with that Buffy watches as every human in the room quickly begins heading up the stairs and out of the room, well all of them except of the still unconscious Ford, and as much as she would love to save him...this was what he wanted and he didn't want her help he made that much clear. She had bigger worries on her mind.
As she begins moving Drusilla forward still keeping a tight grip on her she nods at Spike "Down the stairs." She tells him watching him carefully as he begins walking backwards down the steps, waiting till she was right in front of the exit the blonde glares at Spike before shoving Drusilla into his arms using that as her chance to escape and slam the door shut behind her. The one with no handle. So that was at least taken care of for now, while she knew they would escape eventually right now her focus was getting to her house where the others were.
As Allison prepares to shoot an arrow at Isaac through the window, she is suddenly halted as someone grabs her wrist and throws her to the ground.
Stiles' eyes widen and before he could do a thing he is backhanded across the face sending him flying across the hall and crashing onto the coffee table in the living room. He couldn't help but wince Mrs McCall was going to kill him...
...eh he would just blame Scott.
However, right now Stiles' main worry was Isaac whose eyes were glowing a bright yellow as he moved in on the human.
Buffy leaps in through her bedroom window and silently lands in her room she didn't want to risk the wolves in the house knowing she was here, it would be easier to take them out one by one. Sighing she moves to sneak into the hall only for her eyes to widen as she spots Lydia run in and shut the door "Buffy." She whispers sobbing softly.
The blonde's eyes widen and she quickly grabs Lydia dragging her into the bathroom "Hey, hey it's okay." She whispers pushing the strawberry blonde strands of hair out of Lydia's tear-stained face "Just breathe okay. I'm here. I'm gonna take care of it."
Lydia who had tears streaming down her face nods as she continues to shake like a leaf before something enters her mind "Jackson." She whispers in a panic "He's gone. I was with him then...he was just gone."
"I will find him." The blonde promises before sighing and placing her hands on Lydia's cheeks "Now I need you to stay here. And don't come out till I come get you okay?"
Lydia nods still terrified before hugging Buffy tightly, Buffy squeezes her back before pulling back and giving her a small smile "I'll be back. Lock the door behind me." And with that she walks out of the bathroom waiting until she hears the door lock behind her. Once she was sure Lydia was okay the blonde popes her head out of the hall only to spot Erica stood outside of Scott's room across the hall so her back was to her.
Peaking a bit more Buffy smirks as she spots Allison holding a crossbow aimed at Erica, Allison spotting her keeps her cool and continues to glare at the female werewolf.
Buffy waits a minute before placing her hands on her doorframe allowing her to lift her body off the ground and the second she hears Allison fire an arrow the blonde swings her body out kicking Erica right in the back sending her crashing to the floor.
"Damn she's a bitch." Buffy whispers as walks over to where Erica was now frozen on the floor unable to move, frowning in confusion she looks over at the hunter in training who points at the window "I used that."
Buffy's eyes widen and she walks over to Scott's window her eyes widening in horror as she spots the sticky liquid dripping from it...the creature it was here.
Her eyes widen and she panics before hearing commotion downstairs "Stiles." She breaths.
Allison's eyes widen and she nods "Go. I got her."
Buffy runs down stairs and leaps over the railing just in time to spot Scott beating the crap out of Isaac, she shakes her head in amusement before her eyes widen as she spots Stiles on the floor, running over she crouches down in front of him and her eyes widen as he jumps slightly at the sight of her.
"Stiles?"
Stiles stares at her for a moment a little suspicious before he spots the blood on her forehead "What happened?" Sitting up he reaches up wiping the blood from her face with a worried frown.
"I was hit by a car and then some douche tried to trade me to Spike. That's why I'm late."
At her words Stiles couldn't help but sigh in relief, as much as he didn't want to admit it, when Isaac was about to kill him...he had thought maybe Derek had convinced her over to his side "Thank god."
Buffy frowns in confusion as she watches him, why the hell would her getting kidnapped be a good thing, why else wouldn't she have shown up? And that's when it hits her and she couldn't help but stare at him with wide eyes filled with hurt, he had known her their entire lives, longer than anyone, longer than Scott or even Lydia and he thought she could turn like that "You thought I abandoned you all?" She asks her voice cracking slightly.
When Scott tries to get her attention as he helps Allison carry the still paralyzed Erica down the stairs before dumping her next to the unconscious Isaac the blonde huffs "Derek can wait a freaking minute." She huffs before turning back to Stiles in disbelief "You really thought I would do that?"
Stiles sighs, now was so not the time for this conversation but the look she was giving him made it very clear if he didn't talk now he wasn't going to live to talk "Buffy, come on you can't expect me not to wonder. We all did. This is Derek Hale we're talking about...the man you...you love."
Buffy's eyes widen at that and yes she may have been a bit all over the place about Derek but she hoped he would know her better than that, leaning forward she places her hands on his face forcing him to look at her "Listen to me..." She whispers a tear streaming down her face "Stiles...there is one person on this whole planet that has been with me through thick and thin...I may have loved Derek but he is not us." He says gesturing to Scott, Allison while also meaning Lydia "Stiles...who let me stay at his house when I had nightmares?" When he chuckles at her words knowing it was him she smiles, but when Scott and Allison sigh she turns "We let you guys makeout around us. So shut up and let me talk. Then we can kick Derek's ass. Understood?"
"Yes M'am." Both Scott and Allison say quickly as they take a step back from the two.
Buffy sighs before turning back to Stiles, they were the closest, there was nothing worse on this earth to her than Stiles thinking she could ever turn her back on him and the rest of their friends "Who climbed into my window when my parents were arguing and stayed with me all night?" She asks making Stiles smile slightly again it was him, before she moved pretty much every night he had slept at hers because her parents were arguing so much.
Buffy takes a shaky breath and forces a smile on her face as her next words make her struggle slightly "Derek is not the person I tell everything too. He is not the person I trust the most in this word. That's you. I could never turn my back on that, not even for him. You're too important to me. You and Scott are my family and so is Lydia. And if Derek is threatening that...then I will rip out his ribcage and wear it as a hat to protect you all."
Stiles merely stares at her with wide eyes for a long moment, that was something he never would have expected, but honestly it meant everything hearing it all, he was so worried that Isaac was right that he was second best. But Buffy would always put him and their friends first...but it was mostly the him part he was happy about.
Taking her hands off his face he squeezes them tightly before doing his normal thing and ruining the whole moment "You're imagery is really nice, but I'm think I could use a new bowling ball, maybe you could pop off Derek's head instead?"
Buffy snorts in amusement before pulling him to her and hugging him tightly, Scott smiles down at them however when he spots Erica and Isaac starting to move he sighs it was time to face Derek.
But at least now he knew for sure...Buffy was on their side.
Derek watches in frustration as Isaac and Erica both come flying out of the front door, Isaac knocked out cold and Erica paralyzed her eyes still wide open in panic. Sighing he shakes his head in disappointment honestly wishing his Beta's were more like Scott.
Turning to face the door he watches as Scott steps outside followed by Allison and Stiles, thinking that was it Derek smiles "I think I'm finally getting why you keep refusing me, Scott. You're not an Omega. You're already an Alpha of your own pack."
Scott frowns in confusion slightly but he smiles slightly as he knew one thing, he wasn't an Alpha...he was a Co-Alpha.
Derek who hadn't clued in yet to Scott's secret weapon smirks remembering back to their last fight, Scott may able to fight off two Beta's but while he may act like an Alpha, he didn't have the power of one "But you know you can't beat me."
Scott chuckles softly to himself before shrugging his arms out, Derek was right, he could admit that, but he wasn't right about everything "Maybe not...but she can."
Derek frowns in confusion only for his eyes to widen as Scott steps aside and out-steps Buffy Anne Summers, a cold look on her face, a new cross necklace around her neck and one of Melissa's old leather jackets resting on her shoulders. Any trace of him gone from her.
"Sorry, I'm late." She says with a small shrug as she walks down the steps off the porch and faces her ex-boyfriend "Vampires, big bad and all."
Scott smirks as he watches Derek's shocked expression, this was the first time he had ever seen Derek truly thrown for a loop and it was kind of brilliant "She's not with you anymore Derek. She chose my side. There's a reason Peter wanted her, a Slayer brings a pack strength you told me that once. But here's the thing. It gives her strength to."
Buffy frowns and turns to Stiles for confirmation and sure enough, he nods "G-Man. It was really complicated."
"Cool." The blonde breaths, it would explain why fighting werewolves wasn't as difficult as it was 6 months ago, it was pretty cool actually.
Derek clenches his jaw in anger as he glares at Scott however his face softens as he turns to the woman he loves "Buffy..." He tries but she merely shakes her head "Leave now." She warns him, she was done playing this game. She was done.
Derek sighs hating the fact he hadn't been able to speak to her about this before Scott had gotten into her head "You don't understand—"
The blonde glares at him in disgust hating the fact she had given over everything she had to him, she gave him her heart her body and soul and he tossed it for power, and now...she was just pissed off "This is a beautiful moment we're having. Can we please fight? Or are you going to leave?"
Derek sighs, they knew he wouldn't leave without Lydia but he was also pretty sure Buffy wouldn't fight him, not with everything they had gone through together "You're not gonna hurt me."
Buffy smirks before pulling off her jacket and turning around to face Scott handing him her jacket he watches her with a worried frown, while he knew she was on their side he was worried she wouldn't be able to do this, at least not now, not so soon. "Can you do this?"
The blonde clenches her jaw before nodding "Watch me."
And with that, she spins around and runs at Derek tackling him into the front yard. As the two roll around the ground, Derek growls and throws her off before shaking his head as Boyd approaches. This didn't matter to him, Buffy was angry she had a right to be, but he still didn't want her to get hurt.
Buffy flips back up to her feet glaring at her now ex, she had to admit, she was going to enjoy this maybe a little too much, throwing her leg up she kicks him in the face and he couldn't help but growl slightly as he stumbles.
His eyes flash red for a brief second but quickly he catches her wrist as she swings out her fist and twisting her arm he sends her flying across the grass.
The blonde groans before rolling back up onto her feet quickly, she had to at least knock him out so they could get Lydia out or until the police showed up.
Running at him he ducks her her arm but she manages to drives her knee into his gut before her eyes widen as Derek grabs her knee and flips her over his back.
The blonde lets out a loud yell as she goes flying but she had enough anger to keep going, flipping back to her feet she glares over at him before leaping up kicking him in the chest. As he swings at her she ducks out of the way and backflips through the air her feet connecting with his face sending him stumbling.
As she lands on her feet Derek groans and wipes the blood from his mouth before blocking her arm only for her leg to come swinging around kicking him in the face. As he stumbles back the blonde leaps up again and kicks him straight in the chest.
The werewolf growls softly before watching her with red eyes, controlling himself slightly he watches her with the same expression he did when he told her he loved her.
And honestly it got to her and she froze, staring at him with wide eyes as they stand just a foot apart Derek looks at her sadly "You can't...I know you can't because I can't..."
Buffy watches him for a long moment with wide eyes trying to hold in her tears, yes he was right, she couldn't really hurt him or kill him, she just couldn't cause as much as she would deny it she still loved him. However slowly a snarl covers her face and she swings her foot out as hard as she can-kicking him straight where the sun don't shine, Derek groans in agony, he had to admit...that hurt like hell.
As he drops to his knees gasping in pain in front of her the blonde walks over to Scott taking her jacket back "Give me time." She whispers to herself, the longer Derek tried to hurt people she cared about...the less time she would need.
Scott smiles softly at her squeezing her shoulder, before he turns trying not to laugh as Derek was still crouched on his knees gasping in pain "That was just mean."
"That was necessary." Buffy says with a shrug however suddenly all of them freeze as they hear a weird noise coming from the roof.
Buffy frowns and turns to the others all of them having that same terrified expression, the four of them run off the porch and onto the yard only for their eyes to widen in horror as the Kanima hisses at them all from the roof before disappearing into the darkness.
Derek sighs and clenches his jaw, allowing Boyd to help him up he stares down at his useless two Beta in disgust before shaking his head "Get them out of here."
"Buffy!"
Buffy frowns as a familiar voice screams her name, turning around she spots Lydia running out the front door with one of her crossbows in a panic only to frown as she spots Buffy's boyfriend and a bunch of nerds from their school "They're not vampires." She huffs before turning to Buffy, Scott, Allison and Stiles "Would someone please tell me what the hell is going on?"
Buffy's eyes widen as she stares at her best friend and she couldn't help but smile, she was right...the whole time, she knew it couldn't be her.
However that's when it hits her, there was only one other person it could be, turning to Scott both of them panic and speak at the same time, the sound of horror evident in both their voices "It's Jackson."
