Zoom99 : So do I but I'm quite biased.

AnimeA55Kicker : It was orginally going to be but I changed it at the last minute because I wanted to save it for this chapter and have the first one be a version where Thanos actually listened.

Demi-Wizard48 : I wouldn't say all of them, but yeah, I can imagine a few of them.

Chapter 62 -

"Are you alright, Tony?" Steve asked when Tony came back into the room where the rest of the Avengers were waiting. "You were gone for a long time."

"I was gone for ten minutes Steve," Tony replied. "the first couple were spent in the bathroom, it was a number the one, the next five or so after that were spent listening to an angry voicemail from Harry where he described in excruciating detail what he would do to me with my Iron Man gauntlets if I signed the accords, followed by an apologetic voicemail from Natasha. So...am I the only one who thinks that Harry might possibly be just a little bit upset and angry with the accords?"

"It's not just the accords," Gwen replied. "he's also angry at the fact that you even started to consider it."

"And I don't blame him," Bruce spoke up. "you know who Ross is and what he has done, and not just to me either, yet when he comes here and says that the Avengers needed to be controlled you practically shot yourself into his leash."

"I'm sorry, Bruce." Tony said after taking a deep breath. "I'm...I'm not really at my best right now," He admitted. "I...you guys were right, I won't support the accords."

"Wait guys, are we really sure about this?" Rhodey asked. "Look, I don't want to be 'that guy' but..."

"Oh?" Sam let out an amused snort. "Now? Only now? You don't want to be 'that guy'? Only now you don't want to be 'that guy'?"

"Sam, Steve, you know what we have in common?" Rhodey asked. "We all served for our country, Steve you served in the second war, heck so did Bucky. Sam you were a member of the United States Air Force, just like me. It's our job to follow orders, that's what we do, and now 117 countries want the same thing."

"Rhodey," Gwen spoke up before the others could. "you seem to have forgotten something, Harry was a soldier as well. He was a member of the British army in his last world. I get both of your points of view, and on the one hand it can be argued that Harry is massively overreacting. But...if I'm honest, I don't think he is."

"Why?" Pietro asked.

"After the battle of New York, the Avengers all came together for a celebration party where it was discussed if the Avengers would actually become 'The Avengers', at the time they were just a group of individuals who had teamed up to save New York." Gwen began answering. "Now, everyone was all for it, except for Harry. He had concerns like jobs and leadership, one of his concerns was government interference. Harry revealed that he was a child soldier back in his old world, he had started fighting when he was fifteen years old. He said right there and then that he would not be a member of the Avengers if the government interfered. He also pointed out that he didn't want to put a lot of effort into this team if everyone else didn't want to put effort into it."

"And he has, he tried his best for the team and now he's angry because the government wants to get involved." Bucky responded.

"Exactly," Gwen gave him a small smile before she continued. "I don't know all of Harry's story, perhaps Natasha might, possibly Sif. But as far as Harry is concerned he is seeing things that remind him of his old government, the government that could have helped prevent his whole world from getting nuked. And if we're being honest, even if he's wrong about that, I think Harry's right when he says the accords are about control. Read this Rhodey," She said as she picked up the accords book and tossed it to Rhodey. "count how many human right violations there are."

"If things come down to it then I will side with Harry." Wanda spoke up, causing the whole room to look at her. "I have seen the destruction of his world, I saw him scream to the sky when it happened. I still suffer nightmares from seeing it, if he is telling you all that he can see signs of it happening again and you all ignore him, then do not ever expect me to forgive any of you should we all survive." She said before she stood up and left the room with Pietro following after her.

"So...you were very angry then." Natasha said as she sat next to Harry, resting into his side as they sat together, Sif had decided that the best thing for her to do is go stand behind him and start massaging his shoulders. Harry had at first started protesting, that was at least until he felt her god like fingers start practically shoving a great amount of stress out of him.

"Sorry," Harry sighed. "I guess that's what you get when a mix a redhead and a wizard descended from warrior wizards and then add a splash of shit luck to the final product."

"I'm just glad you're calmer now." Natasha replied, an amused smile on her face.

"So am I." Sif added before she heard Padfoot bark. "Oh, and so is he." She added, earning a nod from the loveable canine.

"Hey," Harry said suddenly, "do you guys want to move?" He asked.

"Move?" Natasha and Sif asked at the same time.

"Well, we have a baby on the way." Harry reminded them. "I was thinking that perhaps we could get a nice little house somewhere peaceful, you know?"

"Hmm, it's not a bad idea." Natasha said, a thoughtful look on her face. "I'd like that." She admitted with a smile, Padfoot barked to show that he was also in agreement.

"As would I, but we should really focus on the accords for now." Sif said.

"Hmm," Harry hummed. "okay, I have a plan." He said after several seconds of silence.

"Oh, and what would that be?" Sif asked.

"Well, first you're going to finish working whatever magic you are working on my shoulders." Harry told her, he tilted his head to the side to kiss one of her hands. "Then after that I'm going to go visit Ross, while I do that the two of you can try and find a good lawyer."

"Rhodey?" Sam asked as he walked back into the room where the Avengers had discussed the accords, they had all left apart from Rhodey who was sat down and reading through the accords.

"H...Harry was right," Rhodey admitted in a pained voice, not looking up from the accords. "so was Gwen, some of these are just straight up violations of human rights." He sighed.

"You can expect to hear an 'I told you so'." Sam informed him as he sat down opposite him.

"I remember something, something important that Harry once told me." Rhodey said, looking Sam in the eye. "He told me that he understood, he understood how I had served and how it was my job to follow orders. He also told me how he used to do the same, but then he said that blindly following orders was not a good thing and that he had seen people suffering because of it. I...I'm starting to get what he meant, I hadn't even fully read the accords and I was supporting them because of Ross."

"And his shiny Congressional medal." Sam added with a small smirk.

"And...and that." Rhodey said with a small chuckle. "Do you think Harry will forgive me?" He asked.

"I...I do, I honestly do think he will." Sam replied.

"Really?"

"Oh, he'll turn you into a platypus or a mouse or toad or something first but he will forgive you." Sam said with a smirk.

Secretary Ross was currently sat in his office, going through some paperwork, though what his mind was really focused on was the accords. If everything went to plan then soon he would have the Avengers all under his control. This wasn't simply a matter of 'wants', it was a matter of 'needs'. Ross knew he needed the Avengers under his control.

Back during his time as a general, Ross had done his best to try and keep his soldiers alive, to try and make sure that the army that he was a part of, was the best army in the world. During that time he had become a part of a research project, one that was trying to recreate the super soldier serum that was given to Rogers. Ross had hoped that eventually there would be an army of super soldiers at his command. The project was known as the 'Bio-Tech Force Enhancement Project'. At the beginning of the scheme, the army used their captured terrorists to test out various serums. Unfortunately pictures from the project came out and the United States Congress terminated it.

At one point Ross had managed to come into an agreement with a scientist named Bruce Banner, a genius who was his daughter's boyfriend. He had Banner working on the project, though admittedly Banner didn't know the project was to help create super soldiers as Ross had told him that it was actually for radiation resistance. It was going quite well, at least it was until that one fateful day when Banner had experimented on himself.

Something had gone terribly wrong when Banner was struck by the gamma radiation, causing an explosion. Following the blast, Banner was transformed into Hulk, a giant and amazingly strong brute fuelled by rage who fled after injuring his daughter, leaving her in a coma as well as killing another of the scientists along with two soldiers of the United States Army and crushing Ross's arm during the ensuing fight. Ross could still remember lying there, on the floor, looking up into the green eyes of that massive, growling monster.

After that Ross had put all of his effort into catching the Hulk, if the monster could be used for the benefit of the army then great, if not then he would at least be contained. Ross could admit that his personal emotions had affected his decision, he just wouldn't admit it out loud. Unfortunately his attempts to catch Banner proved fruitless. The only thing he ever had to show for it was a whole lot of property damage, damaged army equipment and vehicles, damaged (and sometimes killed) soldiers and a whole lot of wasted money. The chase had forcibly been brought to an end the moment Banner had joined the so called 'Avengers'.

When Ross had heard that the Hulk was part of a team of enhanced individuals he didn't know what to think. He had wanted to send his men and capture Banner but that simply became impossible, partly because Banner had become a 'hero' by helping defend the Earth and because Shield had listed him as an asset.

Ross did genuinely believe that the Avengers were a danger that needed to be put in check, sure Fury claimed they were under control but what would happen once Fury was gone? No, it's better this way. The Avengers would serve the greater good of the people or they wouldn't serve at all. If they ended up benefiting the US army then even better. They needed to be kept under control and Ross couldn't think of anybody better to do it than himself.

Ross was hopeful that he could eventually get the Avengers to spill the secrets to their powers, eventually he would like to get Banner and Rogers and even Barnes and Stacy into testing, hopefully that would help crack the super soldier formula. Unlimited access to Stark's tech would also be very helpful, as would more knowledge on 'Asgard', including what weapons they had. Perhaps he could even get them to agree to giving them Asgardian weapons.

One thing that really interested Ross was Potter's 'magic'. Ross often wondered if Potter truly possessed magic or if he was just using highly advanced tech. If he was using tech then Ross wanted access to that, if he was using magic then Ross wanted to know how to use it, how to control it, if it was possible to be taught to others or at the very least how to counteract it.

Unfortunately for Ross he was not able to detect the invisible wizard in front of him, nor was he able to detect the mental probe from said wizard.

"You're back." Natasha noted when Harry popped back into the apartment.

"I'm making tea." Sif called from the kitchen. "Do either of you want one?" She asked.

"No thanks." Harry said as he sat down next to Natasha.

"A British man who doesn't drink tea." Natasha shook her head and tutted her teeth. "Can't think of anything weirder." She said in a jokey tone.

"How about a woman who wears the tightest and sexiest clothes possible yet rolls her eyes when men look at her body?" Harry countered, raising an eyebrow.

"Nah, the tea things is much weirder." Natasha replied as she leaned back on the sofa. "So, how did it go?"

"Ross never detected me at all, I went in there and got every single one of his dirty little secrets." Harry told her.

"Every single one?" Sif asked, still in the kitchen.

"Well...not every single one." Harry admitted. "I actively avoided the parts of his mind that told me about his porn searches and fantasies, I just searched for important things. Apparently he does genuinely believe the accords are for the betterment of everyone, obviously the fact that the Avengers would be under his control would be a great part of why. Did you guys find a great lawyer?" Harry asked.

"We did." Natasha grinned before a ringing sound was heard from the kitchen.

"Phone is ringing." Sif said before the phone was tossed through the air, Padfoot leaped into the air and nudged it towards Harry with his head.

"Thanks." Harry said before he answered the phone.

"Hello," A female voice came from the other side of the phone. "I'm that lawyer you requested, Jennifer Walters."

A.N: Hi guys, hope you liked the chapter. And yes, Jennifer Walters AKA Bruce Banner's cousin/She-Hulk will be making an apperance. In my last fic I had Matt Murdock help as the Avengers lawyer, only for a lot of people to start talking about how they thought I was going to go with She-Hulk, well this time I'm going with She-Hulk so let's please just avoid the 'why not Daredevil for a lawyer' comments.

As for the accords, a few people aren't entirely clear on my opinion of them. I think the idea of having rules for super powered individuals is not a bad thing, that makes sense to me. For example if someone punches someone and they get a small amount of jail time then somebody with super strength punching someone should get much longer since they're far more likely to kill the punch victim. Is that the best example? Maybe not but it's what Ic ame up with off the top of my head.

But the fact that the accords were suggested by Ross of all people should let you know why I'm not supporting them. It would be like if Penguin started suggesting new laws for Gotham city or something like that. Admittidly when I first watched Civil War I was on team Ironman, not because of the accords, simply because they had the strongest team, had spiderman and RDJ. Though now that I actually have to think about it, I do agree with Cap since those accords were less than perfect.

There are video on youtube that discuss the accords in better detail and with better informtation that I have, I suggest you check them out if you're interested. Though I just want to end by saying believe what you want, your opinion is just as valid and important as anyone elses. And if we must disagree then I'll meet you at the nearest airport in a week so we can fight it out with our teams, I call dibs on Scarlet Witch and Thor.

Thanks for reading, feel free to leave a review and enjoy the omakes.

Omake 1:

"Daddy!" A voice called midway through the battle.

"Everybody stop!" Harry yelled, causing everyone on the battlefield to stop. Harry looked around until he spotted his daughter, Rose, standing next to Thanos, he teleported next to her. "What's wrong, peanut?" Harry asked.

"That's mine, Daddy!" She said in a sad voice as she gestured to the infinty gauntlet. "But he won't give it back to me!"

"Thanos, give it back." Harry told him.

"What? No." Thanos replied.

"Thanos, I said give it back." Harry said.

"I don't want to!"

"Thanos, give it back right now." Harry said in a firm voice as his eyes narrowed.

"Fine," Thanos huffed and dropped the gauntlet at her feet. "little bitch."

"Thanos!" Harry snapped as he reached up and slapped him, causing his chin to shake from side to side.

"Master!" One of Thano's minions cried out as he moved forward, only to be slapped by Harry hard enough to cause him to change directions.

"I will help..." Another minon was cut off by a slap from Harry.

"Harry," Thor said. "you need to..." Thor was cut off as Harry slapped him across the face.

"Whoa Harry, I..." It was now Steve who got slapped.

By the end of it at least 300 people were slapped. Aliens, men, women, young, old, nobody had been safe, apart from the small girl who was happily rocking back and forth while holding the gauntlet. Happy that she had such a nice daddy.

Omake 2 (idea from Yohnos) :

There is chaos and riot in all the streets of the world, all of the Avengers turn in Harry's way.

"What?!"

"What did you do?!" Natasha asks.

"Nothing! I just publied the accords on the internet! Who would have thought that having the people knowing that there gouvernements breaking there constitution and several laws. Including having jail for life without a trial (cut to explosion) would have the people rebel, especially in the USA with all the facial profilings... "

"Do you plan on fixing that?" Tony asks.

"Nah, you were right," Harry replied. "we should listen to the people "

Omake 3 (from Barbaric Bob):

Harry: i got a counter offer to the bill of enslavement

UN: oh?

Harry: yup, if you don't sign it i won't have to use my extensive skills as a spy to track down everyone who put their names on that piece of shit, nor would i then teleport you to the nearest active vulcano, and neither would you have to find out whether it's consistency is more like a liquid or a concrete mixture by taking a dive in it

UN:... you make an excelent argument, all in agreement of not signing our death warrent?
