24 hours Later

Darius' Point of View

Our plans of battle had now changed again. Now that my mom was back, we had time to adjust our strategy. Now that she wasn't in immediate danger, an immediate act wasn't necessary. However, I knew today was the day. No matter what, Caius would be nothing but ashes by nightfall.

Alice, Casey and I met up with Edward and my mom in Switzerland. We all arranged for an adjoining hotel room. It was a nice hotel, probably too nice. If Tidus somehow caught on to our trail, this hotel stood out among all others. It was fancy and full of upper class people, celebrities and high ranking political figures. We needed to find a smaller, more inconspicuous place. At least, that is what Edward had said.

Alice and my mom seemed content, I don't think either one of them was interested in changing hotels. Besides, as long as we had Alice, we would know if the enemy was on their way.

My mom wouldn't even entertain the thought that Casey was going to survive today. She is pretending that Casey didn't even exist. I agreed with her completely, but I just don't think anyone here has it in them to actually kill the traitor. And with her being half vampire, we aren't even really sure how destructible she is.

"Do you think that Tidus has realized that you escaped?" I asked, turning to look at my mom.

She was sitting next to Eward on the couch, their hands intertwined. Alice and I were sitting on the bed across from them, our hands intertwined as well. Casey was sitting on the floor, bound with some extreme strength titanium restraints.

She nodded, with a sigh. "Yes, I am sure of it. He was just sleeping when I left. I'm sure he woke up and realized that I'm gone. By now, he is probably on his way to Caius."

Casey shook her head. "No, he wouldn't go to Caius, he wouldn't want him to know that he had failed his mission. Caius would kill him on the spot."

"Do you really think we are going to trust anything that comes out of your mouth?" I growled at her.

"I have no reason to lie to you. It's obvious… all of you are going to die. You don't have a chance against Caius." Casey sighed, a frown coming to her face. "And if he finds out that you guys have me captive… he will go after your kids next."

I was about to get up and tighten her restraints, but Alice held onto me a little tighter. She shook her head with a slight smile. "She isn't worth it." She spoke quietly to me.

Her words soothed me enough to relax.

"Is that why you choose to stay on Caius' side? You don't think we would be able to defeat him?" Edward spoke up. The look on his face was startling. I wasn't used to seeing him so angry.

"I chose to stay on Caius' side, because he is my father. I love him. I don't want anyone to hurt him. So, I will do what he asks me to do. Yes, I like all of you, I think you are good people… and I wish that we could remain friends. But my father's wishes come first. He wants Bella. So I will help him get what he wants." Casey said with a glare in Edward's direction.

"And what do you think your father is going to do to Bella, if he was to get his hands on her?" Alice spoke up, her voice calm.

"That's not my business." Casey answered, casting her eyes away from us.

"You know that he plans on killing her. Or worse." I spit in her direction, but refused to look at her.

"I'm not saying that my father is a good man. But at the end of the dad. He is all I have."

"That's not true. We really considered you family. You had all of us. But now. You made your choice. Against us." Edward frowned. "So now, you will lose everything. We will not rest until we kill your father."

Casey flinched, turning her eyes to the rest of us. "I'm sorry I betrayed you all. But… please. Show me mercy."

My mother spoke up for the first time towards Casey. "Did you show mercy to Avery?" Was all that she said.

Casey's expression instantly changed. Guilt danced in her eyes as she again turned away from the rest of us. It was clear that she had nothing to say. She knew that she had done something unforgivable. There was nothing she could say or do. She murdered Avery. I would never forgive her. She should pay with her life.

Suddenly there was a buzzing sound, cutting off any further conversation. It was coming right from Casey's pocket.

Quickly Alice bounced over to Casey and snatched her phone, from Casey's pocket. She danced back to my side and checked the phone.

"Ahh, looks like Tidus isn't too happy." Alice trilled.

I gently took the phone, to read aloud the text message that Casey had just received from Tidus.

"Lost the target. Caius is going to kill me. Tell me that everything is going well on your side." I read.

"We should respond. It will keep him off our trail." Edward said with a thoughtful look.

Alice snagged the phone back from me, and began to text. The speed that she typed was impressive. I watched down at her, reading what she wrote.

"Everything is going well. Meet up with me, so we can readjust our plan." Alice said with a smug grin.

It was only a few seconds for Tidus to respond. Alice appeared to be delighted with herself now. "He texted back, when and where."

"Let's send him as far away from us as possible." Edward nodded, appearing to calm down a bit more.

The idea of taking care of one problem was helpful to our situation. At least we wouldn't be in danger of Tidus showing up.

"How about we send him to Forks?" Alice wondered.

"But why would Casey travel all the way to Forks to meet up?" My mom muttered, appearing to be lost in her thoughts.

"Bella's right, let's just tell him to meet Casey in Canada. That's far enough away. It will give us some time." Alice said, again typing into the phone.

Casey snorted, turning completely away from us. "This is completely ridiculous. Tidus is never going to agree to meeting so far away."

Alice's smile widened as she received a reply. "He agreed to it. So for now, I think we are in the clear. We have some time to discuss strategy."

Casey whipped her head in Alice's direction with surprise, clear on her face. "I-I was wrong… but… I'm never wrong. My gift is absolute."

"Let's get her out of this room. She doesn't need to hear our plans." I said glaring in her direction.

"Why don't we just… end her. We don't need her as a hostage anymore. The longer she is with us… the more likely we are going to get caught. Let… end her." My mom said with an even expression. She looked deadly serious at this moment.

Casey was trembling now, watching between my mother and the rest of us. She looked scared. And to be honest, she should be. No one here is going to say no, when it comes to the choice of killing her.

"Who is going to do it?" I said quietly, looking around to each of them.

Everyone was quiet. No one made a move. This was a serious decision. I hated Casey… but I don't think I could kill her. I didn't have it in me to willingly hurt someone. That wasn't who I was. Even though I knew that she deserved worse… I couldn't bring myself to volunteer. Even if I did, I knew that my mom wouldn't let me do it.

There was a hard knock on our hotel door now, causing everyone to jump in surprise. Alice was the only one that didn't seem to get frightened by the sudden noise.

"It's alright," Alice said with a small smile to each of us. "Come on in."

The door flew open, revealing a very angry looking Demetri. Shock chewed at me. I couldn't believe that he was here. I couldn't believe that he was awake. So… if he was here… he was awake... He knew what happened to Avery. It was clear why he was here.

Without a word, he stomped his way into the room, straight to Casey. He stared her down with murderous intent.

She met his gaze with horror on her face. "N-no… p-p-please don't…" She was unable to finish her sentence, Demetri swung his fist back and struck her as hard as he could. Her head instantly detached from her body. Blood painted the floor, Casey's body slumped over. Her head rolled down to her feet.

I turned away as fast as I could, but I still saw the whole thing. I felt my stomach churning. I had to quickly move my way to the bathroom. I made it just in time to puke into the toilet.

I knew that it had to be done… but I don't think that I was ready to see that. I never… wanted to see anything like that again. But, there was a part of me that was thankful for my dad showing up. Someone needed to kill Casey… none of us were going to be able to do it. If I could depend on my father at all, it would only have to do with death and destruction of others.

With my dad here on our side, we had a fighting chance against Caius.

Bella's Point of View

I couldn't believe what had just happened. It was like Demetri was just waiting for the perfect moment to show up. I was surprised that the sight of him didn't fill me with anger… pain… or anything at all really. Him being here didn't affect me at all.

Even as our eyes met, I felt nothing. Had I really accepted everything? Was I over all the pain and trauma he had caused me? Could we possibly have a normal relationship… as friends?

Demetri sighed, folding his arms across his chest. "I'm sorry about that… I was going to wait…. Give the girl a few minutes to say her last words… but the moment I saw her… Avery came to mind. I had to kill her… for Avery."

"I hope you plan on cleaning that up. I don't think Darius can handle seeing Casey in this… state of being." Edward said pinching the bridge of his nose with a sigh of annoyance.

Demetri nodded. "Yeah of course. I wasn't thinking… shouldn't have done that in front of the boy." He glanced in my direction with guilt dancing in his eyes. "I'm really sorry about that Bella… for doing that in front of our boy." He sounded so sincere.

"I'm not the one who needs the apology, you should talk with Darius about what happened. Casey was his good friend at one point. In fact, I think he had quite a crush on the girl. This whole situation could be overwhelming." I said with a nod.

"I'll just get this cleaned up before he comes back." Demetri said, glancing down at Casey's dead body.

Alice sighed, looking towards the bathroom that Darius had instantly ran to. "I'm going to go and check on him." With that being said, she got up and danced gracefully out of the room. This left Edward and I alone. Finally.

I turned to Edward, curling into his side and letting out a long sigh. "Things are a mess right now… I'm just glad I'm here with you." I said quietly.

Edward lightly pressed his lips up and down my neck, pulling me into his lap. "I will never leave your side, ever again." His voice soothed me further.

Softly I leaned in and kissed him. He responded with tender kisses, his hands roamed my body for a moment. One hand rubbed up and down the side of my body, while the other lightly stroked my cheek. I was in heaven. Even as Casey's dismembered head sat on the ground in front of us.

At this moment, nothing could ruin my time with Edward.

"I think we should head to our room." I whispered in Edward's ear as our lips separated for a minute.

"You read my mind." He smiled his famous crooked smile.

Alice's Point of View

Darius and I decided to go to our hotel room. It was connected to Edward and Bella's buy a door. We simply went through the adjoining door and locked it behind us. I think Darius just wanted some time away from everyone else. And when I mean everyone… I mean his father, Demetri.

I could tell that he was still a little worked up. He seemed stressed and a little bit bothered. But I had a plan on calming him down. I just had to be a little courageous.

"It's alright, just lay down, try to get your mind off of what happened." I said, lightly giving Darius a push down onto the bed.

He watched me with a curious gaze, but allowed himself to lay back, resting his head in the pillows. He didn't take his eyes off me. He didn't make a sound.

Slowly I went to his feet, taking each of his shoes off.

He let out a soft sigh, the moment that his shoes came off. His body almost completely relaxed. That was a trick that I had learned when Darious was growing up. Any time he was stressed, or upset about something, it seemed to help if he took his shoes off.

Without hesitation I moved to the button of his pants. This was something that I've never done. Not with Darius.

I was almost trembling with excitement as my hand went to the fly of his pants. His eyes widened as he watched my every movement. His face was now crimson red, but he didn't tell me to stop.

Unbuttoning and pulling his pants down exposed his erection, with a size that took me by surprise, but only pushed me to move faster. Every cell of my body was screaming to have Darius inside of me.

Darius reached out to me, lightly pulling my shirt off. The sight of my bra had him frozen in place. His eyes didn't leave my chest. I had to remember that this was a first for Darius. I needed to make this special for him. I needed to go at his pace. Even though it was killing me to be moving so slowly.

His hand trembled slightly as it went out to lightly touch my breast. He cupped it with a dreamy look on his face.

"You can take it off." I said to him quietly.

He finally met my eyes, his face flushed and hot to the touch. "A-are you sure?"

I nodded, turning so he would have access to the snaps on the back of my bra. I felt his fingers tugging and pulling, fumbling around with each snap, before finally getting it completely unhooked. I threw the bra down to the floor at the side of the bed and slowly turned to face him.

His eyes snapped to my naked breasts. It looked like he was about to pass out. His hand again reached out, cupping my breast.

I smiled as he gave it a gentle squeeze. His thumb lightly flicked my nipple, bringing a wave of desire to crash into me. I let my head fall back, my eyes on the ceiling as I let out a quiet moan.

The noises that I was making seemed to build his confidence. He was now beginning more daring acts. He let his tongue travel around my nipples, as his hands explored the rest of my body.

I pulled his underwear down to his ankles, amazed by how perfect he was. For being so young, his size was impressive. I wondered for a moment if he could truly fit inside of me.

I wrapped my hand snuggly around his member and began a slow, but strong pumping motion. His body trembled and I could hear the pleasure I was causing with each gasp he made.

"Alice… please." He said quietly, his hand coming down to touch my face. "I don't think I can hold off anymore… can we… do this?"

I nodded and eagerly took off the rest of my clothing.

His eyes scanned my body with a look of amazement.

I had never seen a man… look at me, the way Darius was looking at me right now. I couldn't imagine my life without him… without knowing his love and feelings towards me. And how I felt for him.

"I'll go slowly," I said quietly as I straddled him. Slowly I allowed his member to slip into my entrance.

The second that he was in, both of us gasped. The feeling was euphoric. It was only seconds, and I could tell that Darius was trying desperately to hold back his release. I became as still as possible, allowing him to get control over himself.

It only took about a minute, before he appeared ready.

I began slowly bouncing myself up and down on his shaft. Enjoying the deep penetrating as I grinded down as hard as I could on top of him.

Darius held tightly onto my hips, pulling me down as close as possible. He met my hips with a strong thrust up. I knew that he wasn't going to be long. I could see the hunger in his eyes, and suddenly I watched as his mouth opened, and a rush of warmth was filling up inside of me.

When he finished I watched as he laid back, almost lifelessly. Satisfaction was clear on his expression as he watched up at me.

I knew that this had been his first time, so I knew that he wouldn't have lasted long. But that was okay. I was patient. We had all the time in the world to practice.

I curled myself down next to him.

He pulled the blanket up to cover the both of us. "I know that didn't last nearly long enough for you. But don't worry, it will get better with time." He said, leaving a warm kiss on my cheek. "We can do it again after a bit… if you want."

I couldn't help but laugh, letting my head rest on his shoulder. "As tempting as that would be… I'm pretty sure the others will be wanting to leave soon. We do have an upcoming battle to prepare for." I reminded him.

Darius sighed, but nodded his head. "Alice," He spoke after a long pause of silence.

"Yes?" I wondered, looking up into his eyes.

"I love you," He said gently stroking my cheek. "Will you be mine? Forever?"

I couldn't hold back the smile that came to my face. "I love you too… I will be yours forever… and all of eternity."
