So happy to hear you liked the date idea. I wasn't 100% happy with it, but figured it was better than nothing!

Someone worried about who was at the door expecting drama. Of course there will be drama, but for now it's the rest of the date.

"Hey!" Arizona said happily as she looked over to the door where Callie had paused as she took in the seating area Arizona had created in the glass conservatory with fairy lights and candles. It looked so romantic.

"Arizona it's so pretty!" Callie said walking into the room.

Arizona beamed with pride at Callie's reaction. So far the date had been perfect despite them being stuck in a lockdown. Mind you, Arizona thought anything she did with the American would be fun.

"Please take a seat. Would you mind pouring the wine?" Arizona asked as she served up the dim sum she had ordered. One good thing about lockdown was that all of the top London restaurants had started doing home deliveries and she was excited for Callie to try the amazing dumplings she had ordered.

"Of course" Callie said as she headed over to the table. As she passed Arizona she stopped and planted a soft kiss on the physios cheek before continuing on to the table to pour the wine.

Arizona smiled at the gesture. The timing of the delivery man had been rotten, but now as she smelt and looked at the food, she realised how hungry she was. Their date had been going on for four hours by now and Arizona didn't want it to end, but she had nothing planned after dinner. Arizona had to stop the mental image that formed in her head as what she would like to have for dessert.

This was Callie's first time with a woman, and she wasn't going to put the American under any pressure.

As Arizona handed the striker a plate of delicious looking dumplings and steamed buns, Callie raised her glass to make a toast "compliments to the chef!" She joked causing Arizona to chuckle, she knew it was cheating, but she could never had made dim sum as good as this.

"In all seriousness, thank you Arizona, for all the effort you put into today. I've had a great time." Callie smiled making the blondes dimples pop as she smiled back.

"I've had a great time too" Arizona replied as they clinked glasses before taking a gulp of cool white wine.

"Oh my" Callie said "that is delicious" as she took another sip.

"It's meant to go perfectly with Dim sum" Arizona added as she picked up her chopsticks and dived into her food.

"So I figured dim sum was a pretty safe option, but what's your favourite food?" Arizona asked as she popped a dumpling into her mouth.

"I love noodles, you know, big Pho bowls of steaming soup with noodles mmmmm amazing." Callie replied.

"Well, that's your interview answer as a professional footballer, but what's the real answer? Your guilty pleasure...you know the dish you crave after a big night out, or when you are feeling low and need cheering up." Arizona probed.

"OK...you got me...it's probably Mac n Cheese " Callie admitted "with all that cheesy gooeyness, it's cured every hangover I've ever had, not that I've had many I'd like to clarify...most of the time my body is a temple."

Arizona stopped eating as she raised an eyebrow in Callie's direction "it sure is" the blonde remarked before continuing eating.

Callie cleared her throat and chose to ignore Arizona's comment so they could finish their food.

"How about yours?"

"Easy. Sunday lunch with all the trimmings, roast lamb, mint sauce, roast potatoes, parsnips, honey roasted carrots...it's the best!"

"I'll take your word for it." Callie said unconvinced.

"Trust me, it's the ultimate comfort food and perfect for cold days...of which we have a lot of in the UK. I'll cook if for you next Sunday if you want?"

Callie looked over at the blonde who was already thinking of their next date.

"I'd like that a lot, but aren't I responsible for planning the next date?" Callie asked.

Arizona realised she had been a little too keen there, she had hoped that date two might be during the week, but maybe Callie didn't want to see her in the week. Shit, slow it down Robbins.

"Of course, I'm sorry Callie...I'm getting ahead of myself...I..."

Callie smiled as she watched the normally calm Arizona get a little flustered.

"Why are you smiling at me like that?" Arizona asked now feeling slightly self-conscious.

"Just that I think you are super cute when you get flustered" Callie admitted.

Shit! Arizona thought. Pull it together Robbins.

"Oh god...I'm sorry...I told you it's been a while...I'm out of practice with the whole dating thing, I didn't mean to...you know..." Arizona was rambling but she couldn't stop.

"Arizona...relax...I feel the same way" Callie smiled back at the blonde.

"You do?" Arizona asked.

"Totally. It's hard seeing you at work all the time but not being able to BE with you. I don't think you have a clue how sexy you are so...I'd love you to cook your roast dinner next Sunday, but only if you come over to mine for dinner for date 2. It won't be as inventive as this has been, but I'll come up with something to keep us...entertained" Callie's eyebrow shot up as she said the last word.

Arizona felt relief that Callie was as keen as she was to spend time together. She was too old for playing it cool or playing stupid games. She liked Callie, a lot, and wanted to take every opportunity to get to know her better.

"Dinner sounds great. When we're you thinking?" Arizona asked excitedly.

"Whenever is best for you? I literally go to the training ground and then come home, I have zero plans." Callie admitted "god how sad is that!" She laughed.

"I think everyone is in the same boat, well at least in the UK!"

Arizona paused before asking "What's it like in Florida? Do you ummm wish you'd gone back?"

As much as Arizona was open to developing a relationship with Callie, there was always the thought in the back of her mind that the American could turn round at any time and go back home to the States.

"I was speaking to Stacey the other day and things are getting under control there. I must admit, I would kill to be able to go for a run along the beach and feel the sunshine on my skin..." Callie saw Arizona's face drop a little as she listened "...but I'm really glad I stayed" she said softly and saw a small smile form on the physio's mouth.

Callie continued "I would have been running away from everything and I've never done that in my life." Callie took a deep breath and sip of her wine before continuing "...but I am still scared shitless about telling my parents."

Arizona put down her chopsticks and reached over the table to hold Callie's hand.

"Listen, coming out is never easy, but there is no rush Callie. You've just acknowledged new feelings and are probably still getting used to it all..." Arizona took a sip of her wine "weirdly I didn't worry about telling my mum and dad, I think they had had suspicions for a while, it kinda comes with the territory of playing football, but my Nan...oh my god, I just didn't know how to start!"

"What happened?" Callie asked interested in hearing how things had gone.

Arizona laughed "looking back it's a funny story, but at the time I wanted the ground to open and swallow me up. I had been skirting around the truth and in the end I just bit the bullet and blurted out "Nan...I'm gay!" but she misheard me, she was 83 so her hearing wasn't the best... she thought I'd said I was engaged and started asking who the lucky fella was."

"No! I would have died." Callie laughed "I think I would have been tempted to have just pretended to have been engaged" she joked.

"I know right, anyway, once she finally got what I was saying she was so cool about it. She actually hinted about a 'special friend' she had had in the war." Arizona laughed "I think my nanna may have had a fling with a woman. Hilarious."

Callie looked over at the blonde and felt a wave of affection flood through her before she knew what she was doing she blurted out "Arizona...can I stay? Here...tonight I mean?"

Arizona who had just taken a swig of wine started choking as the wine went down the wrong hole.

"Oh god...I'm sorry..." Callie said getting up and walking over to the blonde to make sure she was choking to death "are you OK? Shit...I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you choke!" As she rubbed Arizona's back.

Arizona shook her head to show she wasn't dying and took a sip of water and a deep breath. "I'm OK...I'm good...It umm it just went down the wrong way!" Arizona explained as she dabbed the tears from her eyes that had been formed by the coughing fit.

Taking another deep breath she finally felt back in control "Honestly, don't look so worried Callie, I'm fine."

Callie walked back to her seat and looked into blue eyes.

"I'm sorry... I'm having such a nice time, I don't want to go back to my place, we don't have work tomorrow and I just..." Callie paused.

"Just what?" Arizona asked.

"I just...feel so comfortable around you, I don't want to overstay my welcome, but maybe we could watch another movie and just...snuggle" Callie rolled her eyes at herself at her choice of words SNUGGLE! Jeez Torres how old are you!

Arizona didn't reply immediately, and Callie worried what the blonde was thinking. Blue eyes started back into brown for what felt like the longest time "I love snuggling" Arizona eventually responded with a broad smile.

Callie let out the breath she hadn't even realised she had been holding and wide smile formed on her face "Really? You can say if you'd rather I went home." Callie double checked.

"Really." Arizona responded as she pictured wrapping Callie in her arms. Their kiss in the cinema had heated up quickly and if their food hadn't arrived when it did Arizona wasn't sure where things would have gone. "But I'm picking the film OK?"

"Deal!" Callie smiled back happy that she was getting more time in Arizona's company.

Twenty minutes later and they had cleared the kitchen up and were now back down in the cinema room. Arizona wasn't sure how Callie would react to her film choice, but it was one of her favourite films of all time.

Arizona clicked play on her laptop and the film started projecting onto the screen.

"Are you comfy?" Arizona asked "do you have enough room?"

Callie had plenty of room, too much room if anything, as she shuffled closer to Arizona and curled her feet up on the sofa "I'm good thanks".

A smile formed on her face as she felt Arizona's arm slip around her shoulder. Callie turned to look at the blonde.

"Is that OK?" Arizona asked keen not to do anything that might make the American feel uncomfortable.

"More than OK" Callie responded with a smile as she turned her attention back to the screen and tried to keep her breathing under control as she felt the warmth from Arizona's touch.

"So, what are we watching?"

"It's called Beautiful Thing. It's sticking with the London theme, this one is set on a housing estate and is about two teenage boys who develop feelings for each other." Arizona hoped that Callie would be OK with the subject matter.

"Hmmm I wonder why you picked this film!" Callie joked.

"It's a really sweet film and yeah I guess the subject matter is a bit familiar, but it's honestly one of my favourite films. If you watch it, you'll see why I like it so much. I saw this film at the cinema with my last ever boyfriend when I was 24. I remember he pulled his baseball cap over his eyes when the characters kissed, and I thought he was so pathetic. We split up the next day and about four months later I went on a date with Helen...and the rest is history. It has really happy memories for me."

Callie turned to look at Arizona "I love that you picked a film that clearly means something to you. I can't wait to watch it now." Callie turned back to screen and tilted her head so it was resting on Arizona's shoulder.

"Well, what did you think?" Arizona said as the end credits rolled on the screen.

"I absolutely loved it Arizona. I loved everything about it. It was so...sweet... and pure and heart-warming and I loved the soundtrack."'

Arizona beamed with happiness that Callie had enjoyed it as much as she had the first time she had watched it.

"You'll be singing Mama's and Papa's for days trust me!" Arizona said as she reached down for her laptop to stop the movie.

Her shoulder had pretty much gone dead after about 30 minutes of the movie, but she was enjoying Callie being close to her so she hadn't wanted to move. Now she was regretting that as she rubbed at her neck.

"Oh no...was my head too heavy?" Callie asked with concern.

"No! No it was perfect" Arizona replied quickly "I've just got a little bit of a dead arm that's all, you know from not moving."

"Come here" Callie said as she shuffled back on the sofa so that her back was against the arm rest and patted the sofa for Arizona to sit "you're not the only one who knows how to give a massage." The American said taking charge and she placed her hands on the back of Arizona's neck and started to massage the achy muscles.

"Ohh that's good" Arizona purred as she closed her eyes and felt the tension start to leave her neck as Callie's thumbs and palms worked on her muscles. She had very strong hands. She had never noticed that before as it was normally Arizona's hands massaging Callie.

"You are so... tight!" Callie said in a way that made Arizona throb down below, as the American moved both hands to the right side of Arizona's neck where she had a big knot of muscles.

"You know, I should get messages every day added to my contract instead of just giving them...this feels sooo nice." Arizona said smiling to herself.

"You know what else feels nice?" Callie whispered into Arizona's ear causing the physio's eyes to shoot open and a lump form in her throat as she felt the warmth of Callie's breath on her neck, closely followed by the brunette's lips.

Callie placed slow, lingering, soft kisses on the blonde's neck. She smiled to herself as she heard a small groan escape the Brits mouth as she ran the tip of her tongue over Arizona's soft skin.

Arizona couldn't hide how much she was enjoying being kissed by Callie. The American may not have been with a woman before, but she certainly seemed to know what they liked!

"Calliope..." Arizona said weakly "I think we'd better stop" not committing to the suggestion herself.

"Nuh-uh...no stopping this time...I don't care who is at the door..." Callie's heart was racing with excitement and anticipation "please Arizona...I don't want to stop."

Arizona didn't either.

Turning quickly, she grabbed Callie's face and pulled the brunette close. Their mouths open, moving towards each other like two magnets, but hesitating as they prolonged the moment. Arizona buried her head into Callie's neck and ran her tongue over her clavicle bone causing Callie to dig her fingers into the blonde's hair.

Arizona's thoughts turned to Callie's body and to that white bra that had been peeping out from her shirt and more importantly what was beneath it.

She ran her tongue up Callie's neck and licked beneath the Americans jawline, causing the brunette to shudder as she pictured kissing Callie's breasts.

Callie was so turned on just from Arizona's breath and lips on her neck. A kiss had never felt so sensual before it had even happened.

"Arizona!" Callie pleaded softly as the blonde gave the brunette what she wanted and planted her lips firmly onto hers.

Callie melted into the kiss as she felt Arizona's tongue push it's way into her mouth. Just as the kiss intensified, she felt Arizona pull away. Blue eyes stared intensely into brown as Callie moved to kiss the blonde again, Arizona moved her head close to Callie's, but pulled away again causing a moan to escape from the brunette. Arizona placed small kisses on Callie's cheeks, but every time Callie tried to make contact with her lips, the blonde would pull back watching those brown eyes turn almost black with desire.

Callie needed more. Ever since their kiss in elevator the other week she had been imagining how this moment would pan out, when they could do more than just kiss, when they would be alone and their desire for each other would be too strong to ignore.

Staring into Callie's eyes Arizona asked "How about we take this upstairs to the bedroom?"

Sorry to leave you hanging ;)

I'm working through in my head how to play this one out, but will try and update real soon.

Like Arizona's coming out process, I borrowed from my own experience for some of this chapter, including the part about telling my nan and the movie. Would love to know what you think of it.
Take care x

FYI - Alex Morgan who came to play for Spurs (giving me the idea of this story) went beck to the US before Christmas. Shame she didn't stay longer as she had just started scoring goals, but I can't blame her as Florida sunshine in January sure beats the wind and rainy of London!
