Number 12 Grimauld Place was impressive. The architecture, the history, the magic and its discreetness. For all that it was, it was not spacious for a group of grown witches and wizards. There weren't enough rooms for each Order member to have their own sleeping room let alone a work space.

Molly Weasley was given the arduous task of organizing headquarters. Assigning living arrangements and in some cases, roommates fell upon her capable shoulders. This was not delegated because she was a woman nor was it because she was the mother in the Order.

People at times will argue or disagree with Dumbledore. They will have a verbal duel on varying topics, usually to find a solution in finding the way to achieve the greater good. In the end, Dumbledore and his ideas champion. He is the greatest wizard of the generation. That fact is not argued or disagreed on.

With Molly Weasley, there are very few, if any, witches, wizards or muggles who will confront her and come out unscathed. If you want to dance with Molly Weasley…well, you don't want to dance with Molly Weasley. She has 7 children who can attest to this and a husband who will be the first to attest to this. Molly Weasley is a rock upon you build.

Severus respected Molly Weasley. He respected Arthur Weasley as well. To Snape, they were true people of the magical light, good people. They struggled and emerged. The grew through adversity and did so without complaint. In what Snape lacked, or more so what he thought he lacked, he saw in Arthur and Molly Weasley tenfold.

Minerva had her own room, though there were a few giggles floating around whether she may like to stay jointly in a room with a certain Albus. That was shut down faster than Snape could remove points from a Gryffindor caught out of bed after curfew.

Bill, the eldest Weasley would be bunking with Mad-Eye Moody. Their shared fervour and enthusiasm for daring escapades would leave them awake to early hours in the morning. They would become good friends with strong admiration and trust for one another.

Arthur and Molly would obviously be sharing a room. For their love had no bounds, and they needed a room to themselves in which to cast silencing charms.

Sirius and Remus had no problems accepting their roommate agreement. Bets were being placed for when forts would start erecting. This was not for Remus who had grown older and wearier than perhaps what his age would reflect. This was not for Sirius who was trapped with a mind that did not get to age but with memories for a man who had lived many lifetimes of sadness. This was for the friendship that Moony and Padfoot once had, a boyish carelessness that would have them making forts.

Kingsley and Dumbledore would share a room unless Fleur came to visit, then, there would be doing some swapping with Bill Weasley. For Bill and Fleur were still newlyweds and Bill had inherited his father's passion of love of wife.
