Pyrrha sat in her bed staring at the end of her bed, the world around her fading away before she snapped back too reality.

"Miss Nikos?" Glynda said.

Looking to her as she returned from the faction of the memory. Shaking her head slightly, Pyrrha moves her hand away as she pulls the blanket off her.

"Professor Goodwitch please, tell me Jaune is alright? Why isn't he here? Where is Jaune? Is he hurt?" She said with a stern look on her face.

Glynda looked away and closing her eyes. Slowly opening them with a sigh following.

"Pyrrha...what do you remember the night at the tower?" She spoke in a null tone.

"I told you that already, I went up to the tower to face that woman and she... aaagh!" She yelped in pain, placing her head at the side of her head.

"Pyrrha, Pyrrha? Nurse!" Glynda shouted out.

******Beacon Tower******

Pyrrha sighed as she turned away, seeing her shield is partially dented, with streaks of scorch marks. Suddenly hearing a low rumble, she firmly grips her sword and wielding her shield up, looking back at the hole in the floor. Waiting for Cinder to come out, her eyes narrowing. Hearing the noise getting closer and closer, feeling the warm beads of sweat going down her cheek while the cool brisk air eases the nightmare that will await her. Before listening closer Pyrrha's eyes widen as she now heard that the fiery rumbled wasn't coming from the hole but was coming from behind. Quickly turning a full hundred eighty degree shift, she felt the vibrating as the glass arrow making contact with her shield and another upon another. Each shot making her take a step backwards.

"Hah! I can't wait to hear you scream as I burn that pretty skin off!" Cinder shouted at Pyrrha.

Propelling herself at the huntress, her eyes filled with a hunger to fight. Pyrrha shifted her sword into its spear form and throwing her shield at the power hungry woman. Easily blocking the golden shield, Cinder continued toward while quickly manifesting a glass sword. Both their eyes focused on each other as her spear and her sword clashed.

Jaune twist tying the last wire, the keypad glowed and flickered to life.

"Yes! Thank you...don't worry Pyrrha, you won't be fighting her alone.." Shifting his shield into its' scabbard and places it on his belt.

Quickly entering the coordinates for the tower, hearing the thrusters roaring to life Arc stabs Crocea Mors into the slit of the locker, gripping his sword tight while his free arm is around the locker.

"Hang on Pyrrha...your Knight is on his way." Jaune said in his mind.

Feeling the wind rush through his hair, Jaune closes his eyes while holding on tight. Feeling his stomach tightening, the popcorn from earlier in the night is now attempting to make its way out but only to be swallowed.

Her aura flickering, her sword melted into three pieces Pyrrha panted as she gripped her shield tightly.

"Hmpf and here I believed that you were going to be a challenge..." Cinder said in a sarcastic tone.

Holding her bow, she held her hand up as she manifested her black glass bow. Taking a slow deep breath Pyrrha rose back up to her feet, holding her shield high she stared down the Fall Maiden.

"I am not invincible...I won't give up so easily." Her emerald green eyes filled with passion and fury.

Smirking at her, Cinder pulled her bow back. A glass scorched arrow formed, her fingers releasing the string. Pyrrha quickly holds her shield tight, clenching her teeth knowing her aura won't protect her from any more attacks. Both look at their surroundings as they hear a slight roaring sound growing louder and louder. At the corner of her eye, CInder immediately dives out of the way as a Beacon locker lands on the smashed pieces of what was Ozpin's desk. Launching his sword at her but only to be quickly parried and sock Jaune in his stomach. Protected by his aura Jaune only vomited. Pyrrha's eyes widen as she saw the blonde haired knight holding his stomach and to quickly raise her arm up. Blocking Pyrrhas shield.

"Jaune, you were suppose to get help! You shouldn't be here!" Pyrrha shouted while helping him up to his feet.

"I did call for help but *cough cough* they wouldn't have gotten here in time. I couldn't stand by as you try to fight her..." Pulling out his shield Jaune stared down the beautiful woman that brought down the academy.

"Hmpf...I've fought better Grimm than you." Cinder mocked.

Her bow immediately turning to ash while another weapon manifested. Holding his shield tight and raising Crocea Mors while pointing the tip at directly at Cinder as she wielded a long-sword.

"Jaune...you need to go, give me Crocea Mors and get out while you can."

"No...I'd rather die alongside with you." Jaune softly smiled at her.

"Enough of this!" Cinder yelled as she charged at the two.

Pushing Jaune aside from the quick attack as the glass blade left a fiery trail in its path. A blast of fire expanded finally breaking Pyrrha's aura and now all that protects her now is nothing but her shield and armor. Gasping as she could feel herself about to lose her footing, quickly recovering while Jaune charged himself at Cinder. The clash of steel and glass, only to fail as Jaune yelled in agony. His sword sliding towards Pyrrha, Feeling the bone in his arm break as the force from the power of her swing was more powerful than he imagined. Under pure adrenaline now, his aura immediately healing his arm, Jaune swung the tip of his shield at her and ignoring. Cinder smirked at the blond as she swept his legs and kicking him square in the stomach again as he flew straight into what remained of a wall.

"Jaune!"

Pyrrha stared as his aura flared up, grabbing Crocea Mors Pyrrha ran towards Cinder yelling in pure anger. Cinder swings her blade again, raising her shield up but she doesn't feel the blade making contact with Akoúo̱. Realizing that she wasn't standing anymore.

"Why am I on my side? I was standing on my feet, did she sideswipe me?" Pyrrha Spoke in her mind.

"Shhhhh...why don't you let me have some fun with the boy here and I'll deal with you after.." Cinder said as she knelt down in front of her.

******Beacon Hospital******

Pyrrha jolted upright in her bed as her face was covered in sweat. Glynda sitting in a chair next to her, she opened her eyes as she heard her awaken.

"Miss Nikos"

"I...I remember it all...that night at the tower..." Pyrrha said.

Breathing uneven, she pulled the blanket off staring in defiance and hoping that what she was seeing is nothing but her mind playing tricks. Staring at where her lower left use to be but all she was staring at now was her thigh and a stub. Looking out the window to now see the sky is fading to red as the sun is falling.

"Wha-What happened." Pyrrha said as she eased her breathing.

"The doctors said that you've overwhelmed yourself and you passed out, here drink." she said while holding up a glass of water.

"How badly is Jaune hurt?" Pyrrha said a she sipped the water.

Ms. Goodwitch remained silent, clenching her riding crop firmly as she could feel Pyrrhas eyes stare at her. Before she could let out a single word a familiar voice interrupted her.

"Don't worry Miss Nikos, soon as I get back to Atlas, I'll have the finest mind in Atlas make you a leg and you'll be walking in no time." Both looked to see James Ironwood.

"General, I thought you would be giving your remaining troops orders. what brings you here?" Glynda said.

"I just wanted to come by and see how she was doing?" James said.

Walking over to her bedside, Glynda looked at James knowing he isn't just here to see how their suppose to be Fall Maiden is.

"Thank you General but I'm just more concerned about Jaune, how badly hurt is he?" Pyrrha said.

"I thought you were going to tell her?" James said as he looked over at her.

"I am, telling someone things like this isn't easy." Glynda said scowling at him.

"What, what happened to Jaune where is he?"

"Miss Nikos please calm down."

"No I need to see Jaune I want to see if he's okay."

"Pyrrha please, if you can just listen..."

"NO!" Pyrrha screamed.

Slamming both her fist down into her bed, her fist glowing as any small metal pieces in a 16 yard radius became engulfed in Pyrrha's semblance. Glynda rises out of her chair and points her riding crop at Pyrrha while some parts of James body glowed in black. Any form of metal that was in the area of Pyrrhas polarity floated in the air.

"Where. Is. Jaune." Pyrrha said as she looked at Glynda.

Balling up her fist tighter causing the metal to bend and warp. James moaned in pain.

"Miss Nikos!" Glynda yelled at her.

Pyrrha glared back at her eyes showing pain, anger and revenge. Unable to keep it back any longer General Ironwood groaned in pain, Glynda's lowers her crop as she sighs.

"Where is Jaune!?"

"Jaune's dead!"

Releasing the clasp on her fist, her breath becoming uneasy and her eyes of rage and fire flicker away.

"But...but cinder didn't kill him...he should...he should still be alive..." Pyrrha weeped.

"Qrow, James and I along with other huntsmen searched for any students who may have fought and were left behind."

"Qrow found Ruby and Weiss, Glynda found you atop of the tower."

"But Jaune..."

"I'm sorry Miss Nikos but this was all we could find." James pull out his scroll.

Pyrrha looked at the screen to see was half of Crocea Mors, her heart breaking apart. Feeling every point of joy fading from her. James lowered his phone as Glynda putted her riding crop down, siting next to her and rubbing Pyrrhas back.

"General Ironwood looked all around the tower for any sign of him...but the Grimm were already pouring back into the Academy."

Pyrrha stared at her lap, all things around her begun to fade away. The person she finally confessed her love to...is gone...the only man that saw her as a true human being.
