SAM's POV

It took twenty more years to even manage to shape-shift my skin to look human and my eye color to brown, all in all 170 years since I was human, but it's all worth it, as I can now walk in the sun without glittering.

And when the world celebrated the new year of 1800, I visited the last place I needed before making real changes to the world.

I need to travel back to the tribe.

10 years later

It took him a year since he was ready to get back to the tribe, to set foot in it.

Traveling back to the tribe didn't take long, in fact, it took him only 4 days of running non stop to reach the place.

The thing that made him stall, was creating a tunnel deep underground with an exit two days of vampire run to the north without no one noticing him doing so, making sure he has blood bags to stay inside his tunnel for a long time, before releasing his spirit to roam the tribe.

The affect of a vampire spirit being close to them, seemed enough to energize their spirit who sensed danger and caused two teens to transform, a wood cutter and a blacksmith apprentice.

From then on it was five years in which he followed them on their jobs, on their patrols, and on their outing when they were awake, while when asleep, he worked on his transformations, gaining the ability to change his hair color and length.

It was on his fifth year as a Spector when he saw what he came for, he saw the woodcutter imprint.

Seeing the spirit of someone in the process of imprinting was incredibly interesting, mostly because they got the idea all wrong, they don't imprint, they get imprinted.

When someone becomes wolf he basically stop convincing his body he is a human and return to the body he was supposed to be born with, a wolf, as the original shifters took over bodies and convinced the wolf bodies they are human, only, because they were born with constantly believing themselves human, they actually have a hard time turn back from wolves to human, and the more time they spend as wolves, the harder it is to convince themselves they are human, as even their spirit start change into wolf form.

The positive affect of spending their entire lives since birth convincing themselves they are human, is that not only is their spirit attuned to changing into human, but it is also more powerful than regular spirits, and when changed into wolf it can rest for the first time since creation.

Yet, the thing about untrained spirits, is that they always work with unconscious, and their unconscious tells those spirits to find a solution.

That's where imprinting comes to play.

With the energy the spirit gets from resting whenever the shifter changed into a wolf gets sent to the eyes, where it is getting shot whenever a person is looking at their eyes for the first time.

Mostly it does nothing, but rarely it manage to draw a piece of the other person's spirit back into themselves, using it as a core for the spirit to maintain its humanity.

The all 'you are my sun, my everything.' Is a side affect of the entire thing.

And it is side affect I want.

The next four year were spent match making the entire tribe, where I used my 200 years of training my spirit, something that should make me the best unless there are other vampire spirit warriors, to create couples that are soulmates by transferring energy from one to each other.

In fact, learning how to do it took me only two years, but I used another two to perfect the procedure on humans, now I only need to send a little bit of energy to a human and they are forever his.

Now I needs a nice vampire to try it on, someone who won't resist, and I know just the one,

It is time to find the Denali coven
