It's been two weeks since Ziran awakened his telekinesis. He has been constantly training it as much as he can. He made sure to always keep his training low key in order to make sure his Aunt's family wouldn't notice. Normally trying to hide things like this from a Titled Douluo like Jian Qingrou would be impossible. Thankfully Ziran's telekinesis was powered by Nin Energy not Soul Power.

After two weeks of training Ziran's telekinesis was now capable of moving multiple small objects at a time. What's more the time limit had been increased from fifteen seconds to thirty.

Right now Ziran was sitting cross legged in his room around him were levitating small items such as pens, erasers, books and cups. After several seconds the levitating items gently laid down on the floor.

"Phew... Alright that's it for today's training." Ziran slowly stood up and walked towards his mirror. Looking at his reflection Ziran sighed and said: "Still only three years old... There's still three years before I can undergo the Spirit Awakening Ceremony."

Ziran thought for awhile and said: "I wonder what else I could do... Maybe I should start studying to become a Spirit Engineer?"

If a Spirit Master doesn't awaken a Martial Soul suitable for combat then they can start studying to become a Spirit Engineer. Spirit Engineers are Spirit Masters capable of designing and creating powerful weapons and equipment known as Spirit Tools and Spirit Guidance Devices. It is said that some outstanding Spirit Engineers can even become Mecha Craftsmen. Mecha Craftsmen are people who can design and create powerful battle machines known as Spirit Mechas.

The first step to becoming an outstanding Spirit Engineer is to become an outstanding blacksmith.

Jian Ziran then thought of a problem: "Ugh! I doubt anyone would teach a three year old kid how to forge."

As if a light bulb turning on in his head Jian Ziran suddenly remembered something: "Aunt Qingrou once told me that Uncle Duan used to be a really good blacksmith!"

In the living room a well built, red haired man was sulking on the couch. This man was none other than Jian Qingrou's husband Sheng Duan. He was sulking about how strict the treatment his wife gave him these past two weeks.

Sheng Duan: "Ugh... I already told her I didn't have any sort of relationship with that lady from the cake shop but she still didn't believe me."

Jian Ziran walked in and said: "Cheer up Uncle Duan! Aunt Qingrou will forgive you eventually."

Seeing Jian Ziran enter the room Sheng Duan's face turned ugly as he said: "Brat don't think I don't know that I'm in this mess now cause you hid from little Lian two weeks ago. And don't even try to pull that innocent kid act with me like you do with Qingrou. I know for a fact that your intelligence is far above your age."

Jian Ziran: "Oh come now Uncle Duan wasn't it you that outed me first and told Lian that I was in the library that day."

Sheng Duan sighed and lazily said: "Alright fine... let's just call it even. So why don't you tell me what you want already? I'm sure you didn't just come find me without a reason. You want me to buy some kind of toy, candy, pastries or something?"

Jian Ziran(cold sweat): "Uh... No Uncle none of those things."

Sheng Duan tilted his head and said: "Really? I thought kids your age usually like those kinds of things."

Jian Ziran's face then turned serious as he said: "Uncle the reason I came to you today is because... I wish to learn how to forge!"

Sheng Duan was somewhat shocked hearing this. After a few seconds he furrowed his brow, nodded and said: "Alright come with me."

Hearing this Jian Ziran was quite surprised. To think his Uncle Duan would agree so easily. After all when all is said and done he was still only three years old.

Jian Ziran: "Really Uncle Duan? Are you sure?"

Sheng Duan then stood up, put on his coat and said: "Hurry up were going out."

Several Minutes Later...

"Eh?" Jian Ziran was somewhat confused. He and his Uncle were now standing outside of a toy store. Weren't they going to a smithy or something he thought.

Sheng Duan: "Let's go in."

Jian Ziran sighed it was clear that his Uncle Duan really misunderstood him. But he wasn't at all upset after all who in their right mind would really teach a three year old kid how to forge.

Jian Ziran thought: "Guess I'll have to wait until my spirit awakening ceremony and see if I have soul power before I can convince anyone to teach me how to forge."

Indeed with the assist of Soul Power even a six year old child could lift a heavy hammer and forge. However due to him already possessing Nin Energy Jian Ziran was confident that he could already lift a heavy hammer and start forging. The only problem was that he didn't really wanna expose the existence of his Nin Energy for fear that he might become some sort of test subject for scientists. After all Nin Energy seemed to be a type of energy that hasn't existed before in this world.

Both Sheng Duan and Jian Ziran then went into the toy store and made their way in front of a selection of toy hammers.

Seeing the selection of toy hammers Sheng Duan nodded while as Jian Ziran sighed and thought: "As I thought... Uncle misunderstood and thought I wanted to buy a toy."

Sheng Duan then took one of the boxed toy hammer sets and said to Ziran: "This should be good let's go to the counter and pay for it."

Jian Ziran silently followed Sheng Duan without saying a word. In his opinion even if his Uncle misunderstood him he didn't really mind after all this was the first gift his Uncle had ever bought him.

When they exited the toy store Sheng Duan then said: "Alright were going to a smithy next."

"Eh?" Jian Ziran was somewhat confused hearing this. Didn't his Uncle misunderstood him? Or was there more to this then just buying a toy?

Entering a smithy Ziran could feel a wave of heat brush over him, besides this he could also hear the extremely loud banging sounds of hammers hitting metals.

An old man then came over and greeted Sheng Duan.

The Old Man laughed: "Hoh! Brother Duan so you finally remembered this old brother of yours and finally to came visit!"

Sheng Duan smiled upon seeing his old friend: "Old Chui it's been awhile."

Lao Chui: "Hehe so what brings brother Duan here today? I find it hard to believe that you just came by to say hi."

Sheng Duan then pointed towards Jian Ziran and said: "This is my nephew Jian Ziran he says he wants to learn how to forge."

Lao Chui's eyes shined when he heard this: "Really?"

Lao Chui had always been the type of man that appreciated children who had aspirations of becoming blacksmiths.

Lao Chui then excitedly asked: "How old is he? What's his martial soul? Does he possess soul power?"

Sheng Duan shook his head: "He's only three years old he hasn't undergone his Spirit Awakening Ceremony yet. I only brought him here so that he could witness with his own eyes what it takes to be a blacksmith and decide whether he still wants to go through with it or not."

Jian Ziran was somewhat shocked hearing this and thought: "So it turns out Uncle Duan had this intention? But still... what was the toy for?"

Lao Chui turned his eyes towards the toy hammer set in Sheng Duan's hands and nodded: "I see so that's what you had planned."

Lao Chui then knelt down in front of Jian Ziran and showed a gentle smile: "Hello there little Ziran my name is Lao Chui. I'm your Uncle's sworn brother. From now on you can call me Uncle Chui."

Jian Ziran obediently nodded: "Ok... Uncle Chiu!"

Lao Chui nodded and patted Ziran on the head: "Clever boy."

Several minutes later Jian Ziran found himself sitting in a corner with the toy hammer set prepared in front of him.

Sheng Duan: "Little Ziran you are very intelligent for your age so I'm pretty sure you'll immediately understand what I'm about to explain to you."

Knowing that his Uncle was serious this time around Ziran didn't mess around and immediately replied: "I'll do my best to follow your instructions Uncle."

Sheng Duan explained: "Since your body is still not strong enough to lift a forging hammer and also because you still don't have soul power it's best to get you used to seeing how blacksmiths execute their forging instead. So I've decided to allow you to watch Old Chui as he forges some simple household utensils."

Sheng Duan then raised the toy hammer set and continued to explain: "Use this toy hammer set and try to follow the rhythm of Old Chui's forging. As much as possible try to take note of every single small detail you can. Although it can't compare to truly experiencing it for yourself memorizing the basics of forging by watching Old Chui work might help in building your foundation in becoming a blacksmith."

Jian Ziran listened intently to Sheng Duan's explanation. Not once did he allow his attention to waver for fear that he might miss something important.

Sheng Duan: "In truth perhaps waiting for your Spirit Awakening Ceremony and checking if you had soul power would've been the best time to start. But I believe in planning early for your future goals and deciding as quickly as possible what it is that you want to do in life. That's why I want you to see for yourself how hard it is to be a blacksmith. That way you can decide for yourself as to whether or not to train as one. And if you still do... then I promise you! Uncle here will make you into a blacksmith never before seen in this galaxy!"

By this point Ziran was completely dumbfounded. His Uncle suddenly got way too excited during his explanation.

Lao Chui then laughed: "Haha Brother Duan your getting too fired up. Look your scaring the boy."

"Ah?!" It was at this point that Sheng Duan finally realized his explanation went a little bit too far and blushed.

Lao Chui laughed: "Haha don't mind your Uncle little Ziran. He's just excited that you've shown an interest for forging. Anyway come here an I'll start."

Ziran nodded and prepared the toy hammer set in front of him. He then sat down cross legged and intently kept his gaze onto Lao Chui's actions not wanting to miss any small detail.

Seeing Ziran's actions Sheng Duan gave a slight smile. Must know that he had always yearned for a successor and was hoping to train them to become a blacksmith that surpasses even himself. But when Jian Qingrou gave birth to his daughter he was naturally overjoyed but he still knew he couldn't pass on his forging techniques to Sheng Lian. He knew in his heart that he didn't want her to become a blacksmith. He just couldn't bear to see his beloved baby girl suffering like that. What's more he knew that if Sheng Lian awakened the same martial soul as Jian Qingrou then she naturally would have to follow in her mother's footsteps and not his.

Ever since Sheng Duan became a blacksmith thirty seven years ago not once did he accept an apprentice. Not because he didn't want one but mainly because he couldn't find one suitable for learning his forging arts. But when Jian Ziran said 'I wish to learn how to forge!' Sheng Duan couldn't help but think 'Is this a sign from the heavens?'.

BANG!...BANG!...BANG!...BANG!.BANG!.BANG!...BANG!

Jian Ziran didn't immediately try to follow Lao Chui's rhythm with the toy hammer set and instead intently watching him making sure he memorizes everything down to the smallest detail. Little did he know that within his forehead the Ninja God's Eye was rapidly flashing with golden light as if recording everything Ziran was currently seeing.

After several minutes Jian Ziran unconsciously lifted the toy hammer and...

Squeak!... Squeak!... Squeak!... Squeak!. Squeak!. Squeak!...Squeak!

Thus began Jian Ziran's lessons as a blacksmith.
