Seeing that FGO Christmas events are around and seeing that the last lostbelt will probably be somewhere near Christmas next year and reading a story with christmas chapter…gave me a bit of inspiration.

Also, for everyone playing NA servers only-FGO, spoiler alert, so read at your own risk!

Once again, on Christmas Eve

It was December 24th, 2021. just before Christmas and all throughout Chaldea there was mayhem. Every single servant was a bit worried about their new master.

"This time, I will be giving presents to you."

At first, they were baffled. How was he going to prepare presents for more than 300 servants? They insisted on giving him some help, however, their Master merely waved it off and said that he was prepared.

Sure, while he had two weeks to prepare for the event, just a few days before he started, they finished off the seventh lostbelt, defeated the Alien God, and finished repairing Chaldea. It would have been finished even earlier but…thanks to certain two idiots trying to convince one another whose lightning was stronger…it ended up being delayed for about 40 hours.

And that's not counting the havoc that started when some of the berserkers went a bit wild. Again.

Helena was not pleased. She is still sulking.

There was someone else that was also sulking.

Da Vinci.

Why?

Well, apparently, Gudao decided that he would 'borrow' her quarters for a time. Two weeks in fact. She wasn't very pleased but…there were two things that were stopping her from disobeying orders.

Firstly, it turns out she has a weakness. One that Gudao decided to exploit to the limit. Puppy eyes. And not just his. Mashu's as well.

'Hmph, how could they do that to me?!' Da Vinci pouted. That simply wasn't fair.

And secondly…

Da Vinci sighs.

'It's not like I can do much if the Director himself asks me, is there?'

Truth is… there are three reasons, actually.

One that not just her, but Hans, Asclepius, and weirdly, Kiara understood.

It was to distract himself.

Kiara Sessyoin, along with Hans, was one of the first that figured it out. Hans, naturally, because he was good at reading people.

Kiara, while she wasn't as good as him, she had enough time to understand him.

"Don't you think it will feel good? To perform the last rites on yourself?" [1]

She blushes as she puts a hand on her cheek. Her master was so scary that day. And the look on Tristan's and Gozen's faces when Master said that.

She giggled for a moment.

But then later on…came the lostbelts. And little by little, with every sacrifice…dear Master lost himself little by little.

And finally, at the fifth, Olympus lostbelt, Master hit the breaking point.

If no action was taken, then…he would have reached the void. And that would have been the end.

So, during another summer singularity, where she used the chance to create a casino of sorts…she decided to do something about it.

As the Last Master of Chaldea tiredly held his hand against his face while thinking of everyone he lost, the temptress hugs him from behind.

"Ara, Master, you've gotten a little thinner, haven't you?"

Gudao looks up as he starts to sweat a bit. He still hasn't quite gotten used to her antics. As they stare into one another's eyes, Kiara suddenly sighs.

"…it seems you've lost something in your heart. Something irreplaceable. All this time you've kept on destroying everything whilst expending yourself. So much so in fact, that you're already halfway into the void.

…but Fujimaru-kun, please. Try and remember. Fear does not come out of naught, nor will it suddenly go away."

She hugs him tighter as she goes on.

"EMPTINESS [ ]. I've once learned about this terrifying concept. It exists. Yet, at the same time, it does not. It neither confirms nor rejects existence. Hence it is called: EMPTINESS [ ]."

She starts caressing his hair and whispers into his ear.

"Many people in different fields tried to reach it, although so far nobody has managed to do it and if someone did, it's not as if it's known. After all, for one to reach the void, means that person must let go of everything that he was to become one with it.

In fact, that is the reason why I rejected it. Also, in Buddhism, there is also a concept called 'Dependent Origination'. Also known as 'The Origin of All Things'. "

She stops for a moment to let him all sink in. Then she continues.

"My dear Master. Some may have fallen along the way. Some may have passed to the void. And those that we continue the meet on this journey will probably end the same way.

But even so. The bonds you've made will remain as long as you remember them. The people you've lost on your journey, they won't disappear and become nothing-"

As she keeps on talking, tears start to flow from Gudao's face.

"-because someone was there to witness them in their last moments. Even if you run into difficulties or become so exhausted that you can no longer move but an inch, know that the bonds you've made will surely support you. And that the world you've saved, will always, in one way or another, come back to save you. Again and again.

As she lets him go, he puts his hands on his face as he starts whimpering. Kiara smiles, satisfied.

"Good. As long as you can maintain who you are, even for a little while, it's ok to cry. This fear, this pain…they are a treasure which belongs only to you and no one else. Keep these feelings and NEVER cast them away."

She takes her hat off and puts it on his head.

"Because, after all, they are a part of you. And as long as they are, you will be Gudao Fujimaru."

She disappears before the King of Cavern appears. She had done her job.

And Gudao…was very grateful to her that day. Because he couldn't help but feel that she saved his soul. He smiles as he looks at Mashu who was running towards him.

As she was panicking, before she could say anything, he hugs her and says, "It's ok Mashu. I'm fine now."

As long as he still has things worth betting on. He can still move. And so, he is not done yet.

"Senpai…"

"Let's go. READY FOR ANOTHER ROUND!"

He shouts enthusiastically as he runs to the tables. As Mashu watches him run, she smiles tearfully and follows him.

"YES, SENPAI!"[2]

To think that she would be able to save a person. She, a person warped by the desire of humanity beyond recognition. To the point of being capable of turning into a Beast. An enemy of humanity.

She smiles again.

'Ara…he truly is quite scary…'

And she knows, he will be just fine.

He just needs some time. Hopefully, he will get it, without another singularity popping up again.

Mashu walked in front of Da Vinci's room. Currently owned by the Director of Chaldea. She knows that she wasn't supposed to enter yet, but…she couldn't help but be worried about him.

While this is not the first time he was awake for extended periods of time, as in Babylonia singularity where he awoke for more than a MONTH, she had to check up on him. Thankfully, she had a good excuse in mind.

'If he doesn't allow you, tell him I will smash down the doors and will cure him of this stupidity. My way.'

She was very grateful to Nightingale. Although, she could have said that without holding a saw and a scalpel in her hands.

As she walked inside, she just…stared.

The entire room. Filled with presents. Da Vinci was definitely going to be VERY angry when Christmas passes.

And there, at the small empty space, surrounded by presents was the Director, wrapping up another present along with Fou and… three dolls?

The dolls were moving for some reason. An animation spell of sorts? Senpai's time with the casters is truly starting to show.

"...um, Director?" Mashu asked.

Suddenly, the dolls jump and look towards her. Then, the dolls simply stop moving.

Mashu stared again.

The dolls stared back.

Mashu continued staring.

The dolls started to shake.

Just when something seemed to give, her Senpai intervened.

"Hey, Mashu. I told you already, you can call me senpai as you used to. Don't make me pull my rank." Gudao jokingly remarked.

"Yes, Director! I mean…senpai." She says.

Gudao smiled.

"Fou!" Cath Palug jumped on her legs. She picks him up and starts to nuzzle him while smiling.

Gudao let her enjoy the moment, then he asks her, "Why are you here, Mashu? Is there any problem with Chaldea? Is any Servant displeased in some way?"

The last thing he wanted was another singularity before Christmas. Just let him have one free Christmas already…if not that, let him finish packing the last gift. At least that.

Mashu opened her eyes and says, "Oh no, senpai! I'm just… I wanted to see how were you doing… I got permission from Nightingale."

Gudao sweated for a moment. "She isn't coming here, is she?!"

"No, she is not."

Gudao sighed in relief. He doesn't think he would be able to save himself from Nightingale saving him. Not with how tired he is. He probably wouldn't be able to stop her with his command seals.

"Well…as you can see…I'm just finishing up the last one. So, you don't have to worry. I am and will be, just fine." He says.

Mashu comes and sits down near him. She puts her hand on his forehead. While he was a bit heated up, it wasn't something too much to worry about. Once again, she was amazed. Again, she knows from Babylonia that he was resilient but… she still can't help but feel amazed at her Senpai's endurance.

How strong he is.

Truly, she is happy to have him as her master. Her senpai.

"Alright. But please, make sure to take some rest soon. After all, you don't want to be sick on Christmas, right?" She asks him, as she holds his hand.

"Fou!" Fou also agreed.

Gudao laughs for a moment. She is glad to see him laugh after… after what happened at the seventh lostbelt.

She looks down, no longer smiling.

'Mr. Gordolf… Mr. Holmes…'

To think that they would be gone forever. She knows that if it weren't for their sacrifices…they wouldn't even be here but…it still hurts. Just like that time when she lost Doctor Roman, Chaldea, and Da Vinci.

Gudao frowns for a moment wondering why she was sad. Then he understands why. He closes his eyes and hugs her.

She returns the hug back.

"Ah… I went here to help you…yet you are the one helping me… I'm so useless…" Says Mashu, tears at her eyes, threatening to spill.

Gudao frowns again and chops her head.

"Itai?!" Mashu says as she holds her head while Fou watches with widened eyes.

"Next time you say that the punishment will be worse. Never say that, ok?" Says Gudao with darkened eyes and a frightening smile. His hands were also mimicking tickling movements.

Mashu stared, frightened. Not again!

He starts tickling her at the waist. She starts to laugh. She tries to stop him but she can't, Senpai is relentless.

And worst of all, Fou started to lick her cheek.

It was two against one.

It simply wasn't fai-!

Then suddenly, the dolls started to move again!

'Oh no.' Mashu thinks trying to resist. 'Please no.'

Although the dolls' faces were static...She couldn't help but see stars coming out of their eyes?!

'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!'

The dolls lunged.

And for the next few minutes, she could barely breathe. And then finally…the punishment game stops.

She breathes hard, with face red and sweat on her forehead.

"Sen…pai… you have… no… mercy…" She says, breathing heavily.

Senpai smiled impishly while holding his chin. "Well, I learn from the best."

As he said that, for a moment she thinks she saw BB behind her Master. She blinked and there was no BB at all. Imagination?

She stares at the dolls again.

"Please don't tell it to Da Vinci. About the dolls. Pwease?" Her Senpai asked…with puppy eyes?!

Truly he had no mercy on her today. Brining all the 'big guns', giving her no time to breathe.

She sighed, smiling. She rubbed the dolls. The dolls were so soft… Especially the sheep doll.

'Yes', she decided. She didn't want that Da Vinci finds out and decide that she wants to find out how they 'ticked'.

She finally calms down as she sighs.

"Mou, Senpai… can you have some mercy on your kohai?" She asks him, even though she knew-

Gudao smiled again.

"No way." He says it, similarly to the certain Gudako from a parallel reality.

-that he had none.

Then, he puts his hand on her cheek and starts to rub it. She blushes again.

"Ah… senpai…"

"Hehehe…" Gudao laughs evilly.

"Fou punch." Fou punches him weakly at his cheek.

"Et Tu, Fou?!" Gudao shouts out with fake despair.

She laughs at that.

After a few more minutes of antics, she leaves the room as Gudao sighs. He needed that one. He was truly thankful to her.

Now energized, he might just finish the prese-!

Suddenly, Fou started growling. And the dolls jumped on him, with Berserk-Cu doll even holding his spear similarly to his real counterpart.

And there was Roman.

No.

Goetia possessing Roman's body.

'How did he…nevermind.' It was stupid to ask even. Although Goetia was limited due to having a human body, he still had knowledge. Knowledge from Grand Caster and his spells. The effort one needed to pass by all servants with THAT was probably as easy as swatting a fly.

As Gudao mentally prepares himself, he notices that while Goetia was glaring at him as usual, there was no malice in that yellow glare either.

So, while he relaxed a bit, he still prepared for the fight just in case. Prepared to cast Gandr, if nothing else, but to buy time to use a command seal. Not that he could DO anything if Goetia decides to retaliate but… if nothing else, at least so he goes down fighting.

"Calm yourself, Last Master of Chaldea, Gudao Fujimaru. I am not here to fight." He says calmly.

"If I was, you wouldn't be able to speak with me right now at all. You know that." Gudao knew that very well. Still, he doesn't put his guard down.

Goetia stared for a few moments, then sighed.

"I swear that I am not here to harm you. I swear on my power and that what makes me Goetia." He says and suddenly out of nowhere, he feels it.

A magical bond of sorts, A contract that bounded both of their souls.

Gudao stared. How the hell…stupid OP Grand Caster.

But he still doesn't. After all, Emiya the Magus killer, along with Cu the Druid warned him about the loopholes of the Geas.

"Swear that no one else will be harmed. And that you have no plan to try to bypass the Geas." Gudao says calmly.

For a moment, Goetia stares. Then he grins.

"Very well."

Again, he feels it. And only then, does he relax. He goes back to putting the final gift together.

He asks while also making sure to look him straight in them for a moment. "Why are you here, Goetia?"

Goetia was a bit impressed. Not only to ask of him to fully confirm, to demand of him to put a Geas on his own terms, but to stare at him straight in the eye even after throwing the curse on his soul that he was able to throw BECAUSE of eye contact…

Truly, Gudao Fujimaru is not to be underestimated.

So he says, "Is it not Christmas Eve? Does it not mean that a gift must be given to one another?"

Gudao stared deadpanned, "…I never thought that a demon of all people would be giving presents. Let alone on Christmas Eve of all times."

Goetia stared back, "…you say this even though some of your servants are-"

"-ok, fine. But oni and demons are different!"

"…how does that make sense. That's like saying 'people die if they are kill-"

A white-haired counter guardian cook sneezes. Immediately, he is surrounded by worried Illya's, Sakura's, and worst of all medic's faces – specifically NIGHTINGALE who is holding a scalpel in her hand?!

He screams as he runs away from her, as everyone else chases him.

"-ed, That logic simply does not hold any weight-"

"It holds because it's MINE."

Goetia stares at him for a few moments and sighs once again. This was becoming ridiculous.

He steps forward towards the master, with a small ring box of all things.

Gudao first stares and then, with fake shock he says, "Why…Goetia…I never knew that you thought that way about-"

"-Utter one more syllable and I will throw you to Purgatory, Geas be damned."

He shuts up and takes the ring box.

He opens it and stared at it. Suddenly he is hit by sadness.

The ring inside…it wasn't just a golden one…it was one that Dr. Roman was holding.

It made him remember, of all the losses on this journey.

And not just Roman either.

Director Olga… Da Vinci… Musashi… Holmes… Director Gordolf…

So many bonds made and yet, so many goodbyes spoken in so little time.

He didn't even want to think about everyone he met at the lostbelts. Especially the second one. Gerda was his greatest regret. He didn't even say goodbye to her.

Tears, once again, spilled from his eyes. Almost the same as those at that summer after the fourth lostbelt.

This gift…it was both a blessing and a curse.

It reminded him of the friendships, that gave him both unspeakable happiness and regret of not being able to save them.

But, this was a gift at the end of the day.

And since he got one…he should give Goetia one too…but what…?

"What will you do now?"

Goetia says nothing for a minute. Then he speaks, with a hint of tiredness in his voice.

"Perhaps…seeing how humanity triumphed once again…this time over a threat that even I am not sure would have been able to defeat…I will see what the future brings. And maybe…give a helping hand, then and there."

Gudao wasn't expecting that, so he asked why.

"…so maybe…just maybe…I see exactly what is it that Solomon saw in humans. So, I can understand him. And also, to…make some sort of reparation. For taking his chance of life among them."

Goetia laughs for a moment.

"To think that I would be given a chance to make a change by taking his body again…the irony is bittersweet. Even more so, seeing that nothing remains when this body finally expires."

"What do you mean by that?" Gudao asks confused. Goetia looks at Gudao for a moment and then sighs.

"I mean, that since my soul has irreparable damage since my own existence is paradoxical. While this body acts as an anchor of sorts from stopping the Root from 'repairing' the paradox…that only works so long this body functions at all."

"Don't you have your knowledge as a Grand Caster? Isn't there some sort of spell that can…enforce your existence or something?"

"…there are but…it would require me exiting this body to possess another. Which would allow the 'Root' to correct the paradox, ergo, erasing me. So, I am stuck with this one."

Then he frowns, "Moreover…some of the spells seem to simply not work on this body. Essential ones that would allow me at least to slow the aging of the body… so I will expire and that will be the end."

He sighs. "If only I had more time than a century at least. I want to see if… that vision can become a reality. Of humanity conquering stars and the five magics themselves. A shitty pipe dream. That's what my wish is."

"…Shawshank Redemption?"

He grins, "Stephen King. Yes. One of the writers that, in my opinion, deserve to be in the Throne of Heroes. Yet he isn't. For some reason, I can't help but think that makes him even more special. And yes, even among other writers that DID manage to make it on the throne."

Gudao blinks, surprised. He wasn't expecting that. He can't help but think how lucky he is that Andersen and Shakespeare aren't here.

"But maybe…it's for the best." Goetia says, with finality.

Then an idea hits him. What present to give to Goetia.

He just hopes that…that the person who gave him this as a Valentine present won't get mad…but didn't 'THEY' say that he could do whatever he wanted? Including simply throw it away if he wanted?

He smiles as he says, "I think I've got it. Close your eyes."

"…what?"

"Just do it."

Goetia stares at him for a moment then does so. As he does, he hears some shuffling and things being moved. Doors open. "Don't leave ok? Just…let me get it from my room, ok? Fou, make sure he has his eyes closed!"

"Fou!"

Did that human just leave him…?

Still, he decides to humor the request. Not that he has much to do right now, anyway.

Few minutes pass and the doors open.

"Keep them closed!" He hears.

And then he feels his hand being raised by another. Something being pushed into it. A box of some sorts? With a wrapping on it. His present?

"Ok, you may open your eyes."

He opens then and sees it. The wrapping nor the box weren't anything special, fitting into his hand.

…well, seeing that Gudao already opened his gift…he might as well do it too.

He opens it.

And then he stares at it.

A flower-shaped silver colored packing of some sorts…? He opens it.

At that moment, while Jing Ke was attempting to 'assassinate' the bored Emperor for the umpteenth time, the Emperor's eyes suddenly widen.

Then the Emperor started to laugh. Cackling even!

Jing Ke was so surprised that she completely forgot to take this chance to 'kill' the distracted Emperor.

Inside the packing, there were some brown color marbles, and in surrounded by them an emblem of some sorts…? No, another container. This one was silver colored too but engraved with a bird flying upwards.

He didn't understand what it was, so he used an analysis spell of sorts to understand it. A refined structural grasping spell of sorts.

His eyes widen.

He looks at Gudao. Then he grits his teeth as his eyes narrow.

"Why?!" He almost shouts. "Why give this to ME of all people? Me, the demon that almost incinerated human history. ME, that took away two of your friends. ME, THAT YOU SHOULD DESPISE MOST OF ALL?!"

Gudao stays silent.

"TELL ME WHY!" He could almost hear a hint of despair in his voice.

…after a few moments he answers.

"Well, the gift you gave me…this ring. While it made me happy…it also made me sad. In other words, I took it as a blessing and a curse of sorts. I couldn't think of a better present for you after hearing your plight."

He stares him in the eye. "So, there it is. You have it now. The chance to live as long as you want. My blessing…and a curse… to you. You. Live. If you take it that is."

Then he picks up Fou and the dolls and starts to go.

"Now if you excuse me, I'm tired. I'm going back to my room. I'll need it for tomorrow, ESPECIALLY if another singularity pops out knowing my luck."

Goetia merely stares at his back. Flabbergasted. For the fourth time in 3000 years. And at the same time, he felt some sort of…coldness in his heart threatening to bring him pain and… sweat on his forehead?

Then he laughs.

Truly, the Last Master of Chaldea is NOT to be trifled with.

Gudao enters his room and puts the dolls back on the table. He pats all three of them as thanks for the help.

He takes a necklace he got for a valentine a puts it around his neck along with Roman's ring.

He goes to bed as he hugs Fou.

"Gudao Fujimaruuuuu…do you hear meeeeeee…?" He suddenly hears. What…? Is he dreaming again?

Please no. Not another singularit-

"Do not be afraid, Last Master of Chaldea. I am here to talk."

-oh, thank the Gacha God.

He looks around. He sees only fog.

"Ah, wait hold on…let me just…there!" The voice also sounded familiar… Merlin?

The fog clears and suddenly he sees he is surrounded by snow and trees… and there just tens of meters away from him, a tower.

He recognized the shape. That's the same Tower of Avalon he saw Merlin use.

…but…it was a bit different this time.

More "christmasy" if he were to describe it.

This time, the tower was mixed in the colors of red and white. But mostly red. It was surrounded by…presents of all things. And on the top of the Tower was a shining star that seemed to give illumination in this place.

As he pondered on that, suddenly he hears it.

"…ho ho HO! WATCH OUT, HERE COMES SANTA!"

He turns around and sees…reindeers pulling a sled…on the sky…COMING STRAIGHT TOWARDS HIM?!

He jumps out of the way just in time to avoid being turned into a pancake.

As he pulls himself up, annoyed, the sled lands down.

Gudao watches on. Seven reindeers were pulling the sled. A white sled that had yellow bells attached to the garland that was on the side of the sled. Inside the sled was a figure with a HUGE grey sword with a HUGE green bag.

While he was impressed with the bag, he stared at the sword… he couldn't help but think he saw it somewhere…

The sword…no. It was too big to be called a sword. Too big, too thick, too heavy, and too rough, it was more like a large chunk of iron. Where did he see it…

As he ponders on…the sled suddenly opens, with red stairs coming out of it. Going…upwards?

'That's a bit inconvenient.' Gudao thinks to himself.

Suddenly, the leading reindeer leaves the front and goes towards the stairs. While also blocking the view of the person. Suddenly, he realized why the stairs went up.

He hears hard footsteps with huge black boots. He sees that same boot going around the reindeer. And then suddenly as the figure quickly mounts the reindeer with the huge grey sword on the shoulder.

He finally sees him. A figure had a red coat over his head covering the back of the body with a bit of white at the end of the coat. The figure had a huge white beard that was tied in two places at the tip almost covering the grey armor that the person had on himself.

As he ponders on that, the reindeer's red glowing eyes start to shine a red light on him. He has to cover his eyes.

"Rudolf, we practiced this a hundred times! NO LIGHTS DAMMIT! I don't care how intimidating and cool it looks like!"

The lights go out.

Gudao blinks as his sight readjusts again. He hears the figure sigh.

"Honestly, by the ROOT, you would think that giving them treats and doing the same thing over and over again would make them learn, but noooooo…they have to do it! They have to screw it up at the most important moment!"

Gudao stares at the person. "You are…?"

The person raises his head. "Didn't I say it? It's Santa!"

Gudao stares at his Merlin's face.

Merlin sweats back. "Really! I am!"

"Right." Gudao says, annoyed. "By the way, 3 out of 10. Your landing that is."

"WHAT?! WHY?"

"Mostly because…I had to jump out of the way? And couldn't really see it?"

'Santa' stares back. He sighs as he pouts. "Fine."

The silence is a bit awkward.

"AAAAnyway! As I said! I am SANTA! HO HO HO!" He suddenly shouts.

"Yay."

He ignores the unenthusiastic 'Yay' as he unmounts the reindeer and he steps towards Gudao.

"As a man, who had done a great deed, and saved Christmas three times, I have come to bring you a gift!" As he says it, as he reveals a red box with the white wrapping on it.

Gudao takes it and stares at it. "It's not gonna explode in my face?"

'Santa' smiles as he says: "It depends on what your wish is."

Gudao raises his eye confused a bit. 'What does he mean…' He ponders as he opens the box.

In the box…there was a white cup with brownish liquid in it. He was astonished how it didn't spill during the flying or landing. He smelt the liquid. It was…chocolate. But…it smelt familiar…

Ignoring 'Santa's' speaking, he takes the cup and starts drinking it. Suddenly the vision goes dark.

After few moments he opens his eyes, fireplace with a small fire burning in front of him.

"Son?" He hears his…father?

He turns around and sees him. He had short black hair along with blue eyes. The hair had a few white tips. It was a bit weird, he always thought. His face smooth except for his eyes that had a wrinkle or two.

"Daddy…? Where is mommy…?" He asks his father with a low voice.

His father blinks and says: "She should be coming soon. Come on. Stop lying on the floor. I made you some hot chocolate."

"YAY!" He shouts out, suddenly awake.

He starts drinking hot chocolate. Amazing as always.

"I love you, dad!"

His father's eyes widen as he smiles. He always had such a nice smile, he wonders why doesn't smile more…

"I love you too, son."

Gudao blinks.

He blinks again with tears in his eyes.

That…that was the last Christmas he had with his dad.

He died suddenly the next year…nobody knew why, but doctors said it was a weird case of 'accelerated aging'.

His mother…she was so strong during those days. Amazing. He was always amazed at her strength. He is so proud of her when he remembers those days.

He hopes she is still okay. He hopes to see her again, soon.

He looks towards Santa.

"Thank you for the gift."

Santa raises his eyebrow. "Gift? You mean…gifts?"

Gudao looks at him, confused. Santa nods towards the cup. He looks at it and sees a necklace?

A white necklace. His father's necklace.

He remembers the day that his father lost it. He actually CRIED that day.

"Although I hated it, it was a part of me…almost my entire life!" His father said to his mother, with tears in his eyes as she hugged him trying to calm him down.

Gudao stared again. He takes it out. He sees it. The black engraved symbol confirms that this is indeed, his father's necklace.

He doesn't understand how a mere symbol is a part of his father but he supposes it doesn't matter.

He looks at Santa and hugs him.

Santa is startled for a moment as a reindeer looks at them, looking amused at the interaction.

"Ho Ho Ho. I suppose that you are happy with what you have gotte-"

"-YES." Gudao interrupts.

"Should you ever need help, Santa. Should you ever need a helping hand. Know that I will help you if I can." He says seriously.

Santa once again looks at him surprised. Then hugs him back with one arm.

"Thank you, Gudao Fujimaru, Last Master of Chaldea."

Santa steps back and goes back to the slead.

"Um, Rudolf? A bit of HELP?!" Rudolf bites him and kicks him in the slead.

Gudao laughs as the reindeer looks smug. Rudolf then kicks the stairs with his hoofs and they retract back. Rudolf with lightning speed runs back to the front and the garland from the two reindeers behind him attaches to him.

"WAIT! DON'T RUN! I'M NOT PREPARED…!" Santa's pleas are ignored as the reindeers start to RUN.

"DAMN YOU RUDOOOOoooollf…!" As the shouting starts to disappear, the fog once again appears too. And everything goes dark, once again.

He awakens. He sees that it is midnight. He starts to run along with Fou in his arms.

"FOU?!"

"Sorry, Fou, I need to see something!" He says as he puts Fou on the shoulder.

He sees Mashu.

Mashu stares back surprised. He grabs her hand and starts pulling her.

"Senpai?!" She almost shouts, blushing.

"Come on, let's go Mashu!" He shouts at her, genuinely smiling.

Mashu wanted to ask what is going on. But then she saw that wonderful smile. She needed no answer.

After a minute they reach a window.

They stare through it.

And then they see it. As the moon illuminated the North Pole, they saw the sled being pulled by the reindeers with a…panicking figure on the sled?

Gudao laughs for a moment while Mashu looks amazed.

"Merry Christmas, Mashu."

Mashu looks at him and says: "Merry Christmas, Senpai…?"

She stares at the necklace.

The necklace with a symbol on it.

Σ

Just as she was about to ask…

"It's Santa's present. He already gave it to me."

She was amazed that Santa managed to avoid all of Chaldea's security.

As she stares a bit at the necklace and then he hugs her.

She is startled for a moment, as she hugs him back.

After a few moments, he pulls back and then…

He kisses her. On the lips.

"FOU?!"

She stops breathing.

He pulls back.

"Your Christmas present! Like it?" He says with a cocky smile.

She stares. Her eyeglasses break as she suddenly falls to the ground. With a smile on her face,

"MASHUUUUUU!"

Just another day(night?) in Chaldea.

And there you have it. It has a bit of Dresden Files 'Christmas eve' feel to it. Oh and most importantly of all…

There are two things in here pulled from reddit. Specifically connected to Kiara.

There, those two things don't belong to me.

The rest is just me and my own talent.

Seriously tho, check these two comics, they are AMAZING!

Also, as for who is Gudao's father…I usually see stories where Shirou and Rin are his mom and dad.

So… I decided to play around a bit. Recognize who he is? Hehe.
