Disclaimers: I do not own Fairy Tail

A/N: Okay, I'm at work but I finally got caught up on Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest and just read Chapter 56, and let's just say, I have questions.

Seriously?

"Yeah, we did it", Max shouted along with Vijeeter, Warren, Nab, Reedus, Laki, and Kinana as the last essence of Doom faded away from existence, "We finally showed that we're important too!"

Wendy and Carla slowly got to their feet and watch their friends celebrate their victory.

"Those guys are really something, aren't they, Carla?", the Sky Dragon-Slayer said.

Carla shakes her head with a smile, "I guess they really know how to pull through when it matters", she said before looking down at Happy who had a perplex look on his face.

"Hmm? What's wrong?", Carla asks.

"I don't know. I just feel like something missing from all of this", the fish-loving exceed answers, catching Wendy's attention.

"Missing how?"

"Doom was a plant right?", Happy then asks, prompting both girls to nod their heads.

"And the guys who were left behind from Tenrou just saved us, right?", he then questions.

"What are you getting at Happy?", Carla wonder, "Get straight to the point."

Happy then shrugs, "I just feel that we're forgetting about someone who could have probably made this battle go a lot smoother and quicker for us, and probably wouldn't have needed Wendy's magic support as much."

"Really?", Wendy said as she tilted her head, "I can't think of anyone."

"Me neither", Carla admitted.

Meanwhile, having just shown up to the scene as the fight ended, a certain duo gazes up into the heavens, to where the Gods decided the fates of continent, countries, and individual humans.

"Are we a joke to you?", Macao Conbolt, the Purple Flare mage and his son, Romeo Conbolt, the Rainbow Fire mage said simultaneously.

A/N: Like how are you going to use the side characters to kick ass but you leave out two of the main ones. One was a freaking Guild Master and taught Natsu how to get better control of his flames. The other knows at least two different types of Fire Magic...and the others were facing off against a plant-type enemy! Even if Romeo and Macao's spells couldn't hurt them, they should have at least been there! This scene was almost the equivalent of Natsu one-shotting Ikusa-Tsunagi, A War God, even though Chelia was in the story just a few chapters back and we could have seen God-Slayer magic put to good use.

Romeo and Macao better show up and do something in the upcoming chapters, this is getting ridiculous.
