Derek and Spencer were walking toward their rooms softly talking to one another, when Derek stopped and threw his arm out to halt Spencer too.
"You hear that?"
Spencer paused and listened.
"No, what?" he whispered.
"I swear I heard screaming."
Just as he spoke this, a muffled sound of screaming was heard. Spencer ran quickly three doors down to his room and quickly unlocked the door. Rushing into the room, he ran to the bedroom where he saw Molly curled in a ball on the floor.
"Molly! What's wrong?" he cried as he ran toward her.
"The baby," she grunted. "The baby's coming."
"Derek help me," Spencer said as he reached under her to lift her.
"No! No!" Molly cried. "There's no time, the baby is coming! Now!"
Spencer scooted across the floor and lifted her nightgown. His heart sped up when he saw the puddle covering the carpet, a mixture of fluid and blood. He grabbed her underwear and quickly pulled it off.
"Shit, Morgan call 9-1-1," he said as he stared at the head of his child. "Baby, I'm going to go grab a few things. I want you to keep taking deep breathes, ok?"
Molly nodded as her head dropped onto the floor heavily. Before Spencer could return she let out another cry of agony as the baby worked it's way out of her body. She was surprised when she opened her eyes to see Derek holding her hand.
"It's going to be ok, EMT's are on their way," he said as he clutched her hand.
Spencer came running back into the room with his arms full of supplies. He dropped it all by Molly's feet before snatching a pillow off the bed for her. Derek helped her get the pillow situated, while Spencer laid a towel down by her feet. Another contraction ripped through her body as she squeezed Morgan's hand and cried out.
"Push, Molly! I'm right here now, go ahead and push," he assured her.
He watched as her body pushed the head, only for it to sink back in a little. She gasped as she flopped back onto the pillow.
"Next contraction push again," he told her.
This happened for the next three contractions, on the fourth Spencer grasped the baby's head and smiled.
"Come on, one more big push and the baby is out. You can do it honey," he said.
"One big push, mama and this is all over," Derek encouraged her as he wiped her forehead with the wet rag Spencer brought over.
Molly closed her eyes, sat up on her elbows, and pushed as hard as she could. Suddenly she let out a final, pitiful cry before collapsing onto the pillow. Spencer was working quickly. The room was suddenly silent. It seemed to drag on too long. Then the littlest gag and a tiny cry filled the room.
"That's it, that's it," Spencer soothed as a tear dripped down his cheek. He looked up at Molly with tears in his eyes and a smile on his face. "You did it. Our girl is here. Our beautiful baby girl."
With that he handed the newborn baby girl wrapped in a terrycloth towel to Molly. She was just pulling the baby into her arms when the door to the suite swung open.
"Over here!" Derek called as he jumped up to greet them.
The EMT's ran over in a flurry of activity. Spencer was moved out of the way as they attended to Molly and the baby.

The door to the hospital room opened slowly, Derek poked his head in. Spencer was standing next to the bed, holding the baby, while Molly was snuggled under the blankets, looking as though she'd just woke up or perhaps was just about to fall asleep. Spencer looked toward the door and smiled when he saw Derek.
"Hey, you guys up for company?" Derek asked.
"Sure," Spencer responded.
Derek held the door open. One by one his friends entered the room; Emily, Penelope, and J.J rushed in first, followed by Rossi and Derek.
"Alright, alright, I've waited long enough – is it a boy or a girl?" Emily said as she peered excitedly at the baby in Spencer's arms.
"You didn't tell them?" Spencer said surprised.
"Nah, figured you would want to share that exciting news."
Spencer smiled down at the baby, before shooting Molly a look. Molly nodded, allowing him to be the one to share it.
"Guys, I'd like you to meet Sadie Reid," Spencer said as he tilted the baby girl toward the group.
"It means princess," Molly stated with a proud smile on her face.
"It's perfect!" Penelope said as she bent over to ogle at the baby. "Can we hold her?"
Spencer slowly handed her off to Penelope, who was immediately circled by Emily and J.J. cooing over the sleeping tot.
"Hotch said your mom was over the moon," Rossi said as he walked over to Spencer.
"Yea, she was thankfully lucid the entire visit. She went on and on about when I was a baby. It was a great moment that I'll truly treasure," he said with a twinkle in his eye.
"I'm pretty sure she adopted my brother," Molly giggled. "She had a field day with him didn't she?"
"Oh God, yes!" Spencer chuckled. "She wants him to call her weekly to let her know how he is doing and she expects him to come visit her. He took it all so graciously."
"That's because he loved it. I mean, look at our parents, of course he's going to adore being doted over. Just watch out he doesn't hog up her time from you," she teased.
"I'm happy to share her."
By this time, Derek had wandered over to Molly.
"Hey Hercules, how are you feeling?" Derek asked as he placed a hand on her pale forehead. She felt warm.
"I'm alright. Doctor said I lost a lot of blood and I was dehydrated, but other than that I'm healthy. I hadn't realized all the pain and nausea I felt all weekend wasn't nerves, I was in labor," she shrugged.
Derek chuckled. "Well I'm glad you are alright. Pretty boy here really saved the day," he said looking toward Spencer.
Spencer blushed a bit as he moved closer to the bed.
"Seriously, Reid, you were incredible, man. I, honestly, don't know if that happened to me, what I would do. I'm in awe of you," Derek said with all sincerity.
Spencer looked shocked, but completely flattered. He blinked a few times as he took in the words.
"Wow, thanks, that really means a lot," Spencer said as he reached out to shake Derek's hand.
"I mean it, kid. Well done and congratulations, she's beautiful," he said.
"Thank you, we were going to wait, but we'd be honored if you would be Sadie's godfather," Spencer said.
Derek looked surprised by this and a big smile spread across his face. With that he turned on his heels and hurried over to the girls.
"Alright, step aside. Godfather coming through," he said as he held out his arms to hold the baby.
The girls laughed as J.J. handed over Sadie. Spencer and Molly watched as their friends took turns oohing and ahhing over their princess. Nothing felt as amazing as this moment. Spencer bent over and kissed Molly gently.
"I love you," he said pressing his forehead to hers.
"I love you," she replied before pressing another kiss to his lips.
