Heya all!
So, the next chapter is here.
Now, before you begin, I would like to share my thoughts regarding the previous chapter which was not seemingly well received by you people. I can understand; I mean, after four chapters worth of action, I decided to drop a simple person to person talk kinda chapter.
It's like when you have to read theory after a lot of practical… anyway, but kindly know that these chapters are important for the plot development. I have read several dbz fanfics which are pretty well done but what makes the readers lose interest is that they are all action based.
There isn't even a single chapter that missed action. There are just fights after fights, the major arcs begin without any break.
Anyway, to the chapter… enjoy it!
What did dad do with the Briefs? The blue-eyed girl thought in worry. So far his track record wasn't favourable, to say the least, when it came to Gohan, his family, friends; in fact pretty much everyone the boy associated himself with.
Bulma took a breath. "Almost all the mayors were Hercule's and they tried to persuade me. But you don't become a successful entrepreneur without dealing with such people. I gave them the programme with a challenge: break even the first level of security codes, and take half the stake in Cc."
The trio's eyes widening in shock, Bulma grinned. "Of course, they failed and I sued them and won a hefty sum in return."
Gohan held back the amused smile, considering the situation but still imagining the efforts that would have been put in breaking the codes. Without Cc, this planet is still decades behind in breaking the codes in the Namekian language.
Immediately, Videl averted her eyes. Why did you do it, dad? You wronged everyone. Was your greed of power and fame so insatiable?... Still… Releasing a breath and gathering courage, she looked into Bulma's eyes. "I... apologise for everything. I hope… "
Immediately, the blue-haired woman put her hands on her shoulders, interrupting the teenager. "You don't have to. It's not your fault. Moreover, by now you should realize that here we don't blame you for your father's actions, got it?"
The raven-haired girl contemplated for a couple of seconds. Yeah, I do realise. Gohan's family, Tien and now you… nobody blames me or even dad but it's still hard to overlook. However, knowing she couldn't do anything else, she nodded with a weak smile.
Well, it's bound to take some time for her mood to uplift. The blue-haired motioned the teenagers towards the back doors. "Let's go. We don't have much time."
As they walked out of the main dome, they were greeted to the sight of the huge back lawn. It seemed unending. Standing on small, neatly trimmed grass, were short plants surrounding several golf courses.
This is beautiful. Videl looked in amazement, feeling the cool breeze on her skin. There must be a pond here or even a lake, considering Bulma, heh. Even her mansion didn't have such a huge lawn.
"So, this is the backside lawn. The small plants are due to a reason. The short roots stay clear of the basement while holding the soil. There are golf courses; dad and his friends play it a lot. To the left are a series of koi ponds; again dad's one of many favorite activities."
The Cc heiress then motioned towards the five hoverbikes before them. "Board them; we're going on a trip of Cc's lawn."
"And, here we are," Bulma motioned towards the forest-like area covered by a transparent semi-circular bubble-like shield with a slight tinge of pink. "This is Cc's botanical-cum-wildlife sanctuary. As the name suggests, there are all sorts of endangered animals and plants."
The trio looked at the seemingly unending boundary of the sanctuary before Sharpner looked at Bulma. "Wait! Endangered animals include dinosaurs including those flying ones," Bulma nodded. "You keep them all here?"
"I didn't know you were into animals?" Gohan voiced in surprise. The blonde was always about looks and muscles. To think he had another interest was nothing but surprising.
"A bit," The muscleful blonde shrugged before looking at Bulma.
"I do," The blue-haired woman replied to the male blonde's query. "They are endangered from poachers etc. We keep them here, feed them with an adequate diet and are even planning to convert it into a tourist spot."
"So," Videl began. "How do you manage to keep them away from one another?" The only thing that she could think of was cages or restrictions of some sort. That was in no way a sanctuary but enslavement.
Totally reading between the lines, Bulma slightly shook her head. "There are no traps or cages but special frequency waves that influence their minds, making them stay in their areas. Also, don't worry, these waves are approved by the government as well as animal welfare organisations."
Of course, I would have realised. She said they do things the smart way here. Videl nodded in understanding. There were things here never heard let alone seen in the world… truly, Cc was deserving of its fame and name.
"So, could we see it?" Erasa asked, slight hope and excitement clear in her voice.
"Sorry dear," Bulma smiled a bit. "As you know, time is of the essence here and we will need safety equipment, etc," Or in other words a Saiyan or a demi-Saiyan. "But next time for sure. I will inform Gohan and we can explore it."
The trio nodded, knowing they were already more privileged than others by getting a tour of the Cc and that too by Bulma herself.
"So, let's move on to the space center. This will take some minutes," Voicing, Bulma drove her hoverbike, the four following her.
Gohan sure is surrounded by some very influential people. Ox-King, His family and martial arts group, Bulma Briefs… Erasa was totally impressed by their new friend. He seemed like an ordinary countryside boy but as they said 'never judge a book by its cover'.
"So, what are your aims and ambitions?" Bulma asked, looking over her shoulder for a moment. "Let's start with you, Erasa."
The blonde girl blinked a bit. "Ah well, I want to be a journalist. After my graduation from school, I am gonna apply to the west city uni; it's best for journalism," With the truth about Mr. Satan revealed, Orange star city was beginning to lose its spark.
Several major ventures, chiefly running due to Mr. Satan's stakes in them, were on the verge of closure and many had closed as well. The places where the Ki masters lived, were replacing Orange Star as the fitness hub.
All in all, opportunities seemed to be comparatively bleak. Slowly, West city uni will attract most of the students from ours.
"Great, and I promise you exclusive coverage of Cc's events once you complete your journalism," Bulma again looked over her shoulder, grinning a bit.
"Really?!" A nod was her answer before a huge smile bloomed into existence on the blonde girl's face. "Thank you Bulma-san!"
"No need for that. After all, in the world of martial artists, we non-martial artists need to stick together, don't you agree?" Also, I can see how happy Gohan is with you guys. This is the least I can do for you.
"Of course. That's a must," The blonde girl's smile widened a bit. Videl, Sharpener, and Gohan also smiled at that.
"Moving on, what about you Videl?"
The blue-eyed girl didn't even need to think. "Apart from a master martial artist, a professional in the field of forensics and law. Earlier, I wanted to be a cop but now they have begun to mend their shortcomings. So, forensics and law it is."
"Impressive," The blue-haired woman nodded. "Like Erasa, you have already decided. And what about you Sharpner?"
"A master martial artist, definitely. Apart from that, a boxer or baseball player; I haven't chosen or maybe both," The male blonde shrugged a bit.
"Good," Bulma voiced, not looking back. "But better stick to one choice; that will help you in both."
The male blonde nodded. "Yeah."
"And I already know about Gohan; he wants to become a scholar but there's no way I am letting go of such a sharp mind. He will work for Cc."
The trio looked towards the raven-haired boy who smiled a bit bashfully. No surprise there. His future is already set. Videl mused, happy for her newest friend.
"And, here we are!'
The newcomers to the Cc looked at the usual dome-shaped building, size the three-quarters of the Cc main dome, but unlike the simple plain texture of the other domes, it had a honeycomb style built. In the centre, 'Capsule Corporation Space Centre' was written in bold blue letters.
"So, this is the space center or department of the Capsule Corporation," Bulma announced cheerfully before looking at the teenagers only to be greeted by their confused expressions. "Not per your expectations?" She asked with a knowing smile.
Taking another moment to look at the sole building in the vicinity, Videl shook her head slightly. "Something like that," She offered a small smile. "But of course, you must do things the smart way even here … "
Sharpener nodded. "Yeah… it's just that it seems a bit empty… ya know, there should be rockets, satellites among other things." All in all, it doesn't look much.
Erasa, not much into the science stuff, only shrugged, showing her agreement with her friends. While Gohan, as he was doing since their arrival, only smiled looking at the blue-haired genius.
Bulma chuckled a bit. "I understand. Almost everyone bears the same expressions when they visit this area for the first time. Anyway, Cc is the only corporation to conduct its operations with its premises located in the middle of a residential area."
"Our operations are eco-friendly in almost every aspect but that certainly doesn't mean we can conduct even space operations here," Realizations began dawning on the visages of the trio.
Of course, people are already annoyed by the explosions and other weird stuff that goes here; if not for the Cc's easily affordable products and other charitable policies, carrying on the business would've become difficult. The raven-haired girl nodded. "So, could we know the location or… ?"
"Of course," Bulma waved off her doubts. "It is hardly a secret. Almost all the Cc's space operations are carried in the Ox kingdom. The Ox king and I go a long way back, almost like a family. But we both have our pride," She again chuckled. "For his land, we pay a nice rent."
Oh… the way Gohan and Bulma are talking about the Ox-King, it seems all the stories about him being a ruthless warlord are false… Erasa noted to herself, making sure to research more and hopefully, one day write a journal of the sort. Yeah, that would be good.
"But the books say Cc's space ventures are not that old… ?" Videl pointed out, having recently read the small tidbit of information.
"Really?"
But before Videl could voice, the Cc heiress nodded towards the male blonde. "While it's true that we have been indirectly helping the government in space operations for the last five or so decades but officially and directly, we commenced our operations around two decades ago."
"Or in other words, I am the pioneer of the Cc's space ventures."
Gohan mentally shook his head, again amused. After getting her hands on the Namekian space tech, Saiyan pods among other things, nothing could have stopped the blue-haired genius from entering into the space business.
"Cool!" Sharpener muttered in amazement. In just an hour, he had learned more about the genius lady in front of him than by reading all the books in the last decade.
"Anyway, let's proceed inside," Bulma turned on her heels and walked inside the dome, the teenagers following her, waiting for a bit at the entrance as the blue-haired genius spoke instructions to the AI.
As the teenagers entered inside, they let their eyes roam around. The structure was like a theatre; a descending staircase with seats mounted on it with a long joint desk, on each staircase, supporting microphones and computers.
Most of the seats were filled as scientists of all ages were working on their computers while coordinating with the theater-like screen in the front. Small floating robots were rushing in all directions carrying documents, small equipment, and even refreshment trays of all.
"As you can see," Bulma waved her hand in gesture. "This is but a small extension of the space center in the Ox kingdom; made mostly to give me the updates and coordinate with there. Though, I only visit it once a day 'coz dad is the one in charge in the Ox kingdom, so less work."
Despite being a small extension, it is certainly more advanced than the government's entire space agency. Videl mused, recalling her trip with her father to the National Space agency.
"So, what are they working on?" Sharpener voiced, out of simple curiosity. He didn't know why he wanted to know but something about the place made him voice the question.
"Oh… we are working to set up a space station on Europa, ya know Jupiter's moon. Once a base is established, we can venture into further parts of the space. Right now, these guys are working on the data sent by a team of astronauts."
"Wait… a team is already there?" The blue-eyed girl asked in amazement. The books and the outside knowledge did not even scratch the surface of the real workings of the Cc.
"Certainly," The Cc heiress smiled with confidence. "In fact, the one leading them is my husband," Despite his past, something about space pacified Vegeta. She couldn't understand why. Maybe it was coz he grew up that way.
Here she comes. Gohan grinned cheekily as immediately an expression of excitement appeared on the blonde girl's face. Better brace yourself Bulma.
"Your husband?!" Erasa exclaimed, joining her hands in excitement. "Could you tell me about him?" Her eyes began shining with a look akin to a kid asking for candy or a new toy in the market.
The Cc heiress raised an eyebrow at the bubbling excitement on the girl's face before sharing a look with her godson who was grinning, clearly looking forward to what she was going to explain about her Prince Charming. Diverting her vision she replied. "Why, of course."
"Great!" The blonde girl squealed in joy. "So, what's he like? Is he famous? Of course, he must be, who am I kidding? Why is he so reclusive? He must be a really sweet guy… " She glanced a bit at Gohan's suspicious cough. Was that a snort? Shaking her head, she again opened her mouth…
"Woah! Woah! Wait… " Bulma sighed as Erasa closed her mouth. Oh, I hope Vegeta could listen to her… Mentally giggling, she continued. "No need to rush. Regarding my husband, Vegeta is his name, well he's not certainly the sweetest of the guys around, in fact, the dark, broody type."
Interesting! Bulma has an odd choice considering her own personality… Though Videl couldn't fault her. There were many girls who liked such guys; apparently the aura of mystery surrounding them made them more appealing and interesting to the girls.
Cool! If this Vegeta guy can bag a beauty like Bulma, there is hope for me, hehe. Not again, would I allow mom to walk over my dreams… The muscleful blonde sniffed a bit, curbing the urge to shed tears of relief.
"You guys are surprised," Bulma again chuckled, gauging the expressions on the faces of the trio. It was a natural expression. With her status, the obvious thoughts would be that she could get any man she wanted. "In actuality, my status was a deterrent… Videl can relate." She voiced after a bit.
The raven-haired girl blinked for a bit before her mind connected dots. Ah, I see. She could easily relate how most of the guys were only after her money and status. Sighing a bit she nodded. "It certainly becomes difficult."
"Exactly," The blue-haired beauty voiced her support. "All this fame, money; this has actually been a deterrent in my personal life. Earlier, I used to wish for a perfect boyfriend and at a time, even lost all the hope. Heck, even now, I can't go for a normal dinner with my family."
I never thought it like this; though Mr. Satan used to relish in all the fame and attention and Videl seldom displayed any interest in the boys. In a way, I am better being a nobody, heh. Erasa mused. "So, how did you meet him?"
"Well… " Bulma hummed for a bit. "As you know, a group of my friends are martial artists," The trio nodded, not knowing where it was going. "Vegeta is one of them."
Immediately, surprise covered the visages of the teenagers. The aspiring martial artists looked in interest while Erasa looked in slight disbelief. Bulma of all settled with a martial artist?
Even Gohan looked in interest, curious how Bulma was going to steer this.
"Not being rude, but I don't recall Vegeta from any tournament… no offense but considering you, he must be famous… " Videl trailed off, not wanting to offend the most powerful woman on the planet.
"It's alright," The soon-to-be trillionaire waved off the concerns of the younger girl. "Vegeta is… as Erasa said, a recluse," To say the least. "He stays away from any sort of tournament; to him, martial arts is a passion to improve himself; what others think doesn't matter."
"That's a fact," Gohan jumped in, directing the gazes of others. "I told you about the Oozaru style," The trio nodded immediately. "Well, that style belongs to him." He was not surprised to see amazement and awe flashing on the visages of Videl and Sharpner.
He must be super strong… I hope someday, I can meet him and exchange pointers… 'You don't wait for an opening but create one' The male blonde recalled Gohan's statement. That is truly the most badass thing I've ever heard.
"Regarding famous," Bulma again led the conversation. "Since he stays to himself, it's hardly surprising not many people know about him. But it doesn't mean he is a nobody. Apart from a master martial artist, as Gohan told you," She grinned a bit. "He's also a prince… "
Erasa gasped but before she could say anything, Gohan began coughing, rather loudly prompting Sharpner to hit him in the back, the blonde being careful of the steel-like muscles of his friend.
The blue-haired woman mentally cackled at the plight of her godson. He's too easy. "Are you alright, Gohan?" She asked with mock concern and nearly laughed when he shot her the most miserable look but nodded nonetheless.
Pointedly ignoring him, she cleared her throat, drawing the gazes of the trio. "As I was saying, Vegeta is a prince of a lost kingdom in the north which was destroyed by… the army." Let's see what you draw from it… hehe.
The blonde girl had her eyes still widened in awe when Videl slightly gasped. "Red ribbon army!" Everyone looked at her in open interest and in case of Gohan, disbelief. What?!
"Red ribbon army destroyed several smaller kingdoms around the world… I mean, it even rivaled King Furry's forces… "
The demi-Saiyan couldn't believe his ears. The sheer absurdness of the situation was just too much. First, Bulma giving away that Vegeta's a prince and then Videl's sharp mind connecting the dots… Still, Red ribbon army? I don't even know what to say…
"Nevertheless he's a prince," Bulma cut in, not wanting the raven-haired girl's quick mind to form further conclusions, while still surprised at her intuition. "Further, an astronaut, as it must be evident. Though, he's an uncertified one but with a lot of experience." A choosy one too.
There were only four persons whom Vegeta was willing to tolerate and work with. They were sworn to secrecy even before Ki became a worldwide knowledge. "So, any more questions?"
The trio shook their heads. "Alright. This concludes our brief trip. Excuse me for not taking out more time but next time for sure," Bulma glanced at her watch. "Let's go to the cafeteria, I still have fifteen minutes."
"I still can't believe it; The legendary Son Goku thinking marriage as food… "
"Oh c'mon Sharpy," Videl rolled her eyes. "We already know he grew up all alone in the woods; it's hardly surprising."
"Yeah," Erasa nodded in accord. "But what's funny is his unique way of distinguishing between boys and girls," The blonde girl giggled, a red hue on her cheeks.
Taking a sip from his fifth milkshake, Gohan shook his head, while smiling at the trio busy in their newfound information from Bulma. Closing his eyes, he sighed a bit. Thanks, Bulma, for being always there for me.
"Approaching the Star system of Planet 4032-877… Repeat! Approaching the Star system of Planet 4032-877… "
"Finally, we are here; the sleeping compartment is totally shitty in these spaceships."
"They do not design spaceships for comfort."
"Greedy bastards they are… anyway, are you gonna tell me now, why are we here, Zaldor?"
Zaldor stayed silent for some moments, looking at the flight deck, aligning the coordinates a bit before leaning back in the chair and shifting his amber-colored eyes towards his partner. "Very well; follow me… Sor."
The burly but slightly shorter man got up from his seat and walked towards the center of the spaceship before turning towards his approaching partner.
"Pay attention," Zaldor voiced as Sor joined him. "Computer, access Project Potential."
"Access… confirmed!"
Sor raised an eyebrow as a yellow orb flickered into existence before several beams shot out of it, forming square boxes the size of four to five inches which began playing some recordings, each box displaying the actions of a certain individual.
"What do you see, Sor?"
The taller and equally burly man propped his chin with his hand for a bit, one side of the mouth parting in curiosity. "Hmmm… there's a golden-haired boy training with green… wait! A Namekian… surprising!" What are these slugs doing here?
Getting no response, Sor shrugged nonchalantly. "Then there's a blonde-haired girl, two in fact and … a blue-eyed girl… and that's… " His eyes widened a bit as he sharply looked at Zaldor. "Isn't that Saiyan Prince without black hair?"
"Indeed. In his transformation unique to his race."
"So, that boy with the same colored hair is also a Saiyan?"
"A half-Saiyan called Bardock."
Sor's eyes widened fully. "Half?! Since when did the proud Saiyans begin mating with other breeds?" Even now he could remember that Saiyan female's reply to his approach - 'we don't mate with lesser races'. As if! Arrogant bastards… the only thing averted her death was her face.
"Since they must have realized that ego and arrogance won't breed their nearly nonexistent race," Zaldor replied, not taking his eyes off the squares.
"Damn right!" Sor chuckled before composing himself. "So, why are we seeing this?"
The amber-eyed man sighed a bit. "Listen to it well for I shall not repeat myself," A nod was his answer. "Around a year ago, our receptors at the extreme ends of our empire picked some residual but still potent energy, the like never felt before."
"It was taken to the empire and with the King's assent, examined for a month. The results were quite surprising," The comparatively shorter man paused for a bit. "The energy was probably seven years old and had traces that at its maximum, it could even rival the prince's."
"No way!" But when Zaldor didn't even budge, Sor couldn't prevent the shock. The Prince was arguably the strongest person the whole empire had seen in the last five centuries. Even more than the King who had commanded respect even from the Cold Empire when it was existent.
And now… there was someone who rivaled the prince! Un-fucking-believable! Shaking his head a bit roughly, he motioned his partner to continue.
"Immediately, getting concerned, the King ordered for a deeper probe into the matter. Our scouts turned the entire eastern quadrant over but could not find anything. Then they widened the area of search, proceeding towards the Northern quadrant, following the general direction of the energy."
"For six months, the efforts continued and on reaching these remote areas of this galaxy, they were about to retreat but fortunately, felt the same energy, more intense than ever. They followed it by tracing the residuals before reaching the planet we are about to visit."
Sor nodded, hanging onto the tale. Quite an interesting one this is! For the energy to reach in the empire; not to mention after seven years… it must be something…
"Since it was a foreign territory, the standard procedure with bots was involved."
Ah… the microbots. Sor mused, recalling the finger-sized bots. The fly-shaped devices were able to collect samples, limited recording but could not sense energy unless preprogrammed into them.
"The bots stayed for a couple of weeks, remaining covert. During that period, they were able to sense the energy two times but due to higher speeds of the battle, only managed to record these brief clips of the golden-haired boy, Saiyan Prince and the Namekian."
The taller man nodded in understanding. "So, where do the three girls come into play?"
"The one with the long blonde hair is a boy," Sor's mouth parted in surprise. "Anyway, the samples were taken back and examined thoroughly, the results were even more surprising."
"How come?" As if that blonde girl-turned-boy isn't enough for today…
"The boy's energy was more potent than the Saiyan prince's."
"Wait!" Sor nearly shouted. "That shouldn't be possible at all! The brat's a half-breed… unless the other race is also strong as hell… "
"As I said that's even more astonishing. The other race is the natives of this planet - humans - a weak race but admittedly with quite developed technology… "
"How weak are we talking here?"
Zaldor glared a bit at the taller man for continuous interruptions who only looked innocently. "Even your brat would be overkill."
"What?!" Paor would be overkill? Sor's mouth parted in surprise. His four-year-old son who was also a bit weaker than the others of his age could make this planet as his playground… "You are pulling my leg, yeah."
Zaldor scoffed. "You know me."
… Right… The amber-eyed man was only for formalities; not the one for even a bit of fun. But that would mean, he speaks the truth… damn! A weaker race producing stronger offsprings…
"All the higher-ups reacted in the same way as you did. Further research was ordered but the results remained the same. In the end, only one conclusion remained concrete; the humans are the ones responsible for this weird power-up."
Sor turned his vision towards the blonde girl, inspecting her for a bit. She doesn't seem much… What makes these humans special?
"Naturally, the demand arose for an alliance with these humans but the supreme minister objected that it could very well be a coincidence and in that case, our resources would be wasted on an unworthy alliance."
"And let me guess… the next thing he proposed for was a sample?"
Zaldor nodded. "A specimen to be more precise; fetch the most qualified female of the race and then Prince would mate with her."
"Of course," Sor shook his head a bit. "Sometimes it's hard to grasp that despite the advancement of our race, the higher-ups still resort to such methods," The Prince already had a male and a female offspring from two different races' females.
"You know the reason."
The taller man again nodded. The Eastern empire had stayed strong only due to such practices. Mating practices with the allies and then choosing the strongest progeny as the ruler. The prince is the prime example; no doubt he would resort to it.
"Still, this is the first time they are doing it out of the alliance," Zaldor noted. "I wonder how it's going to turn?"
"Yeah," I hope it doesn't backfire… Sor sighed loudly before again looking at the recordings. "So, who's the one?"
"Hmmm… " The shorter man looked in confusion for a bit before nodding. "The one with the blue-eyes."
"Eh… blue-eyes," Sor moved a bit closer, watching the girl laughing with her two blonde friends. "She also seems a bit below the line, don't you agree?"
"Watch this," Zaldor pointed towards the folder before sliding his finger, zooming on a smaller square. "The planet's natives termed her the strongest female till six months ago."
Sor watched as the blue-eyed girl took upon men twice her size with considerable ease, twisting and turning, displaying a surprising amount of agility. "That's impressive but she can't fly among other things or am I missing something?"
"No. Most of the humans of the planet have recently learned about life energy; she is one of them," Zaldor zoomed on the other clip. "This picture sums that up; got it from the planet's network."
The taller man looked with a raised eyebrow; the girl suspended in air, covered by her Ki, the explosion from the behind dwelling not touching her. "I see; once she masters her energy, she can become stronger… but certainly not up to the level of our Prince."
"That doesn't concern us."
"Hmmm… agreed."
So, how was it? Here's the summary what made me write this arc:
Basically, this arc would have been the plot of this story if you guys had not chosen Gohan/Videl pairing in the fourth chapter. Basically, after learning about Gohan's secrets and his strength, Videl would have begun to feel insecure (you know how that works).
It would have led to her snapping on Gohan even for nothing. Then, she would have confided these secrets to her father without any maliciousness of course. Things would have happened leading to Videl revealing the entire secrets to the world.
The world would have gone against the aliens making the Saiyans and their families and even Namekians leave the world. Their first stop would have been Namek where after staying for some time they would have learnt of Frieza's PTO still in function and causing havoc in the cosmos.
The Saiyans would have teamed against it leading to Vegeta forming the Saiyan empire. During that, the Eastern empire would have sent an ambassador for an allied marriage between Gohan and the princess (who is now prince).
Later on, Buu would have been revived from the energy that Babidi had collected from the battles in the universe and also from millions of humans. Supreme Kai would have arrived on Earth and revealed the origins of Buu to the humans making them realise their mistake that not every threat was the fault of Saiyans.
Again, events would have happened leading to humans requesting the Saiyans to aid them. Gohan and Goku would have done and Vegeta would have been forced to. After Buu's defeat, humans would have requested for them to stay but …. This part was undecided whether they would have stayed or not.
Anyway, I have not given up on the idea of Videl being insecure and once this story or my second story which revolves around Vegeta in Shinobi lands is finished, I would write a short story.
But Videl won't reveal secrets and the pairing would be Gohan/Lime. I actually like this pairing on a similar level as Gohan/Videl.
Another one of rants on how the fics are:
So, I have read some great dbz fanfics but I always wonder why the authors make Gohan as such that once he gets Videl, he even begins to snap at his family… I mean, they make the girl somehow more important to Gohan than his family… Idk why?
Lastly, please REVIEW.
