New story where Izuku gets the Goro Goro no Mi. Cause all my followers know what's up, I'm a fan of One Piece so enjoy everyone.

A young four year old green haired boy was feeling worse than ever than he ever had in his short life. He and his mother had just returned home from the doctors office where he had been told that he was Quirkless. Eighty-percent of the world was born with some sort of power or another but the unlucky twenty-percent were born regular humans. Safe to say all men were not created equal. That same day at home his mother had made his favorite foods in an attempt to cheer him up.

The poor boy faked a smile and ate his food in silence. Inko knew her son was heartbroken but didn't want to say anything that could further depress the boy. She was barely holding it together as it was, she felt like she failed as a mother. She watched sadly as Izuku thanked her for the food with a forced smile and headed to his room.

Like he had done since he could remember the young boy played a video of the number one hero 'All Might' saving civilians from a burning building with a smile on his face. The sound of his door opening forced him to turn to see his mom standing at the doorway.

"Look mom. All Might saved everyone with a smile on his face." He told her, his small eyes glazing over with tears. The boy quickly found himself being enveloped in a hug by his mother who kept repeating 'I'm so sorry.' In her embrace he finally let the waterworks flow and cried his little heart out. He cried so long and so hard that he never realized when he fell asleep.

The word had somehow gotten out that he was diagnosed Quirkless. Those who knew the family sent him and his mom pitying looks as they knew how the minority was treated this day and age.

While Izuku and his Mother were shopping in the supermarket, they will always passed by the Old Man that carries a pipe on his back. He was a tall and muscular, wearing a long black jacket with a buckle on the left sleeve, with a blue shirt and vest, a filled cravat, and a simple belt holding a pair of loosen light-blue pants with black boots. Izuku also saw a scar over his left, 'who would want to hurt an old man,' thought his little young-mind.

"Izuku" His mom called him, breaking his thoughts. "We're out of vegetables, were going to have to run down to the supermarket real quick."

"Midoriya-san"

We both turned around and saw the old-man calling us.

"You dropped your towel, kid." He was about to give to it Izuku, but he quickly hides his face on the leg of Inko.

"Oh, Sabo-san, thank you. Come on Izuku don't hide and say thank you," Inko ruffled the hair of Izuku who still refuses to show his face.

Sabo just chuckled, "Sorry about that Sabo-san, things were pretty hard for Izuku the past few days..."

The old man quickly turned serious, "What happened Midoriya-san?"

Inko pointed at a Cafe where they will both talk, Sabo agreed and scoops Izuku to his shoulder, which starled the boy hugging his head. Sabo just chuckled at the shy boy.

"I see..."

"Yeah that's why my baby boy is really sad." as Inko hugged Izuku who cried a little in his mom's shoulder.

They were now inside the Cafe, where Sabo ordered as many sweets to cheer the little guy up, which worked as Izuku continued to eat the sweets he ordered until he passed out.

"I have a preposition Midoriya-san. Let me train Izuku," said Sabo looking straight at Inko's eyes.

"HUH?"

"I promise to protect the little boy, and I will personally pay for all the expense."

Inko stands up and slams her hand on the table which makes the other people on the Cafe look at her. She calmed herself and sat down, "Why go so far, Sabo-san?" Inko looked down ashamed of her behavior.

"I see potential in Izuku," the adults looked at the boy sleeping with a satisfied smile on his face and can't help but smile at the scene.

"Then please do everything it takes, I don't want to see my baby boy sad anymore," Inko pleaded and continued, "but I don't want Izuku to get hurt, so can you promise me you'll protect him."

"With my life, Midoriya-san." Sabo replied confidently.

Two days later

"So are you ready to train, Izuku?" Sabo asked the little boy, still confused at what's going on.

"I'm quirkless, Sabo-san I'm weak..." Izuku looked away from the man.

"You're right your weak and a crybaby," Izuku was about to cry again, when Sabo continued, "That's why you have the most potential to be the strongest."

"HUH?"

Sabo then puts his hand on his pocket and seemingly presented a large sky-blue fruit with strange swirl like patterns on it. Seeing the young boy's confusion grow Sabo spoke again.

"That right there is a devil fruit, Izuku." He frowned. A devil fruit? He'd never heard of such a thing.

"It's a special type of fruit that when consumed gives the eater special abilities. The abilities gained vary depending on the type of fruit you eat. All at the expense of losing the ability to swim."

Izuku held onto every word, completely enthralled by the story. His heart was pounding in his chest as his mind raced with the possibilities. "Where I come from there's thousands of these, but the time of devil fruits has long since passed."

Izuku was amazed at what he was seeing, but there was something bugging him from the start, "How did that large fruit fit on your pocket Sabo-san?"

Sabo falls to the ground face first and exclaimed, "That's what you ask!?"

Izuku laughed and was really happy to be given such a power, but he had doubts, "Why me? Why are you telling me this?"

"It's because you're the only kid, I talk to here..." Sabo teased the boy which worked, as the boy continued to punch and kick his leg.

"Now where was I? Izuku pointed at the fruit, "This is the Goro Goro no Mi, it's a logia-type, I'll explain that later, but this fruit allows the user to create, control, and transform into lightning at will, making the user a Lightning Human." Izuku was jumping around excited at getting the power, when Sabo spoke.

"But once I give you the fruit I want you to promise me something." said Sabo then carried Izuku to his shoulders, where they both looked at the sunset.

"What is it, Sabo-san?"

"I want you to use your power only to protect what's important to you and always do what you think is right. A great man once said, You can pour drinks on me. You can throw food at me. You can even spit on me. I'll just laugh that stuff off. But, good reason or not... Nobody hurts a friend of mine!"

As Izuku heard, what Sabo said. His eyes shined through the sunset, all the bullying was nothing cause it is nothing, he finally understood what Sabo meant.

"Can you promise me that Izuku. To protect what's important to you and never use it to hurt others for personal reasons."

"Yeah!" Izuku cheered and Sabo chuckled at the boy's innocence.

That day Izuku knew what it means to be a hero and was the start of his journey to become the strongest hero.
