Chapter 4

Natalie's POV:

Oh my god, did I just call him 'love'? I hope he didn't notice.

Panic bubbled inside me as soon as the words left my mouth. Oh, I'm such an idiot!

"How about this?" Dan asked, holding up one of his old t-shirts. I snatched it away and threw it in the garbage can. "Daniel, I did not buy these clothes for nothing. Try this one." I handed him a brand new polo shirt, and he scrunched up his nose. I rolled my eyes, "Just go try it on," I said. He held the shirt away from him like it was a dead animal, then shot me a nasty look.

"This is stupid, Nat." He said, "Just let me wear my own clothes." I put on my best puppy dog eyes and stared at him. "Please, Dan?" I begged, tilting my head a little bit.

Dan looked at me, then back at the shirt. "Ugh, fine." He said, walking to the bathroom. "Wait! Take this with you." I said, handing him matching pants and a sweater.

"Are you serious?" He asked. "Completely." I said, shooting him my sweetest smile. He blushed a little bit, then took the clothes from me and locked himself in the bathroom.

"If I'm not out in five minutes it's because the stupid clothes killed me!" He called jokingly, I smiled and laughed, then went back to sorting through the clothes.

Dan's POV:

Ewww, this looks like something Ian would wear. I thought, staring at my new outfit in the mirror.

I opened the door to the bathroom and said, "I hate this Nat." Natalie looked up from her phone. Her amber eyes seemed to burn through my soul as she looked me over.

"I think it's nice." She finally commented, turning back to her phone.

"I look like a snobby rich kid." I said, staring at my reflection again.

"Yes, I know. That's the whole point, love." She said.

There it is again, she called me love.

Natalie looked back at me after I didn't reply, "Dan? Are you alive over there?"

"Hmm? Oh, yeah, sorry." I said, "I was just thinking." I walked over and sat down on the couch next to her.

She turned her phone off and started messing with the collar on my shirt. "Whatcha doing?" I asked.

"I'm trying to fix your collar, it's a horrible mess." She said.

"It's not that bad, Nat." I replied, gently gripping her wrists and lowering her hands away from my throat, partly because I longed to touch her again, and partly because I was afraid that she was gonna try and poison me or something.

She blushed a little bit and started chewing her lip, staring down at my hands. "S-sorry." I mumbled, releasing my grip on her.

"Wait!" Nat said, reaching out and grabbing my hand again. I smiled briefly, but she didn't notice. "Umm, I-I just, ummm." She stammered, her grip tightened on my hand.

"Jeez Kabra, you got the grip of a cobra!" I joked, playfully swatting at her hand.

She smiled sadly at me and reluctantly let go.

"Nat? You ok hon?" I asked, cupping her chin so that she'd look me in the eyes.

Oh my god, did I seriously just call her hon? Oh, I am so dead.

But, much to my suprise, Natalie didn't kill me. Instead, she kissed me. Her soft lips collided with mine, and I instantly panicked, my whole body tensed up, and I froze.

She rested her hands on my shoulders, and leaned in closer to me. Finally, my brain got the message that I had been sending it, and I gripped her waist, pulling her onto my lap.

Natalie giggled under her breath, and held me tighter. The way her lips moved was so comforting, and I just wanted to kiss her forever. But, sadly, all good things must come to an end.

Natalie's POV:

I had only been kissing Dan for a few seconds when his computer chimed very loudly with a Skype request from Amy and Ian.

We both quickly pulled away and accepted the call, but Dan still had an arm around my waist.

"Hey guys!" Amy said, "You doing ok?"

"Oh, y-yeah. Um, everythings fine here! N-nothing to worry about." Dan stammered, tightening his grip on me.

"Ow!" I whispered, prying him off me. "Sorry about that Amy, we just watched a horror movie and now he's being paranoid." I lied through an apologetic smile.

"Yeah, Ian had a nightmare last night and he's been clinging to me ever since." Amy laughed.

"I have not!" Ian chimed in.

"Why are you digging your nails into my arm then?" She asked, turning to face him.

"W-well I-" He said, obviously trying to concoct a lie. Ian used to be the master of lying, but he always got tongue tied around Amy. Finally giving up on an excuse, he leaned in and kissed her.

"Eww, love." Dan said, fake gagging.

"Oh shut up," I told him, kissing his cheek.

"Nat!" He exclaimed, playfully pushing me, a delighted smile lit up his face. I laughed and rested my head on his shoulder.

Amy broke away from Ian and turned back to us, "Well, we just wanted to check that you didn't kill each other." She said.

"Don't get your hopes up yet Ames." Dan said, twirling my hair on his finger.

"Ok, ok, we'll leave you two lovebirds alone," Ian laughed, "Call us if you need anything."

I smiled, "We will, bye guys!" We all waved goodbye and then I shut Dan's computer, slumping back onto him.

Dan kissed the top of my head and hugged me. "You still wanna go to the Eiffel Tower?" He asked, "We should go before it rains again."

I nodded, "Alright, love. Come on."

And that's the end of our show! I hope you liked it! Sadly, I won't be writing any more chapters of this story. The whole thing was just leading up to a kiss scene anyways. ;) Now that I've written that, I have no more ideas for this story! Possible ASOUE fanfic coming soon. Thanks for reading!
