Alright! New chap!
Before that, I would like to straighten something on the first chapter, about how long Ichiei had been gaming. Basically he was on the last day of his 24 years time limit, so he just doesn't care anymore and just sit back, relax, and enjoy himself with some cookie clicker.
How long he could endure those kind of things would be explained on another chapter.
'Death by Cookie Clicker Endurance Run'
sounds great isn't it? No? Huh...
Guess you could say that-
that's the way the cookie crumbles.
...
...I'll see my ashamed self out.
So anyway,
Enjoy~!

"So... can you repeat about how this 'Synchronization Contract' work again?"
"Shh! Just shut up and let me concentrate!"
"...wow thanks for being so helpful, I felt like I learn something important today."
"Tch! Let me dumb it down for you okay? The Arctic Fox. Me. Touch forehead. soul connected. Bam! contract done!"
Ichiei put his clenched hand on the open palm of the other one, suggesting that he had finally understood. Fubuki clicked her tongue a second time, while the small white fox infront of her just stood still. The pendant on the table started to brighten. Ichiei could even feel the illusion of cold started to affect him, although there was no snow on sight.
Ichiei actually already heard and understand Fubuki's explanation the first time. He just loves to take a poke at the angry lion (fox) every now and then, it felt amusing when he saw her irritated scowl and fierce glare directed at him.
As for the contract, basically its just like what she said. First the priestess candidate will came in contact with the fox, which in turn will start the contracting procedure. Said contract will then bond their soul together, thus creating a new existence which will anchor the small fox to the mortal realm. By doing so, the Priestess could draw the power of blizzard essences anytime.
So its like a glorified give or take relationship.
Still it truly was a sight to behold. Both Fubuki and the small fox's body were enveloped in a white light, flakes of snow particles twirled around them in a gentle manner. Their eyes were closed, forehead still touching as the lights were getting much more dense as the time goes.
After a few minutes the light gradually began to dim before it started to dissipates.
"Seems like its finally over huh?"
Ichiei mutters as he took off his sunglasses. He scanned Fubuki's new look, nothing seems to be out of place except for her newest appendages, a black fluffy looking tail with a star on it as well as a pair of fox ears on top of her head along with her normal human one. There was also a change with her eyes which were cerulean before, have now turned into a crimson red one.
The most surprising thing was the identical looking figure at the opposite of her position though, the small fox had vanished and in exchange there was a white haired counter part of Fubuki, the fox also now donned the original Fubuki's previous cerulean eye color although the white one was much more brightly in comparison.
Ichiei could not give any comment as he was actually not expecting such transformation, so to contribute with a reaction he just went with the classic 'unable to close mouth and was left hanging' one. It was actually like looking throught a well made CGI except he knew this one was authentic.
The black Fubuki blinked her eyes a few times to regain her senses.
"Fuuh... it seems like the contract was a success"
She mutters, a feeling of accomplishment filled her chest. The contract was supposed to be done at the ceremonial area, which were the shrine ground. Unfortunately The Arctic Fox ran away with the special pendant before the contract was established. And to think The Arctic Fox Incarnation would latch on a random person tha happened to be on the shrine entrance as well...
"...buki"
"Hmm?"
"Fubuki special skill: Fox Pounce!" Shouted the white haired Fubuki as she threw herself onto the black haired one.
"Gah! Get off me!" Shouted the black haired Fubuki while struggling to take hold, while the white one dominated her.
"Oya? Are we on the stage where you act out the yuri play? I should've brought my popcorn." An amused noise came from Ichiei's direction, the person himself wore a teasing grin as he watched the scene unfold between the two Fubuki(s).
"Stop joking around and get her off me!!"

"So you're saying this cute girl was a god?" Matsuri questioned as she eyed the white haired Shirakami Fubuki. The person in question just kept on swaying her body left and right, humming a happy tune with a full smile on her face. Her tail also followed her sway although on a different interval.
"Well actually I think her proper title was The Arctic Fox, a Divine Being with the domain of Blizzards."
Matsuri just made a '0' mouth as she looked at the white Fubuki in wonder.
"Hai! Konban-Kitsune~! Shirakami Fubuki desu~!" Saluted the white Fubuki as she beamed at Matsuri's direction which in turn made Matsuri speechless. A full blush started to appear on her face.
"...Ichi-kun..."
"Hmm?"
"I think I have fallen in love" Matsuri told him, which he could already tell because her eyes had a honest-to-god heart pattern inside them.
Just like those doujinshi he read out of curiousity.
Fun times.
Matsuri had squeezed herself between the unwilling black haired Fubuki and the beaming white haired one. Her expression was that of pure bliss. Even Ichiei could see that Matsuri's mind had gone to another much better place. A look on her face have shown that of an overflowing satisfaction, trapped in a world just between her and the white Fubuki.
Well, if she was happy like that then it would be less trouble for him to deal with later. If she forgot about his incidents then it would be even better. So he won't interfere, not yet. Even the now pleading face of the original Fubuki which seemed to want to get his attention was not responded in kind.
"Sorry, Fubuki(s) please take the 'Matsuri' branded bullet away from me. Your sacrifices would be much appreciated." Ichiei told the two human/fox hybrid.
"Oh, and Kuro-chan, how does it feels to be a third wheel (lol)" Ichiei added, the comment directed at the black one specifically.
"...I'm not third wheeling! This rude girl just went and made herself comfortable without my consent! And what's with the nickname anyway?! I'm not your goddamn pet !!"
"Heh, rude. Well your tail is black and you're all emo and stuff, so I feels like my naming sense was justified! ...probably." He added the last bit with a low whisper.
"Oi! I can hear you! And my name is Shirakami Fubuki, The Priestess of The Arctic Fox! Check your goddamn facts straight, you bastard!"
"Well we can't have two Fubukis can't we? I think a proper identification is needed and all that jazz."
"Huuuh?? You want me to go there and punch you? If you want to give any identification why don't you just call her as the Shirokami Fubuki?! Shirakami Fubuki is originally my own name!"
Ichiei snapped his finger together as if finally found a great answer to the current predicament, "You're right! We should call you Kurokami Fubuki! That's a great name! And it fits your very well, yep! For now on you're to be identified as Kurokami Fubuki, the grumpy older sister by 3 minutes of Shirakami Fubuki (white)!"
"Haaaah?!!"
A single punch was sent flying.

Matsuri and Fubuki were watching the banter of both Ichiei and the now named "Kurokami Fubuki" or as Ichiei lovingly called her 'kuro-chan', as they hurled insults at eachother, or in Kuro's case, heavy punches and strikes which were somehow dodged by Ichiei with little efforts.
Plates and and forks were flying.
"Oi! That's my favorite antique plate I bought from Turkey!"
"Fuck you!"
Another one was thrown.
"They really are getting along huh?" Fubuki said while smiling widely from ear to ear.
"Are they really?" Matsuri asked with a sweat drop, as Ichiei dodged a swiftly thrown forks and knifes, which made the poor utensils dug deep into the floor.

On another place, which were on the other side of the world, a single figure could be seen kneeling on the wooden tatami floor. a pair of glasses adorned her face, in front of her was a deck of tarot cards.
A bell chimed in the distance as the girl shuffled the deck of cards before a few cards were selected and placed upside down on the floor.
The girl fluttered her glossy amber eyes open, as she flipped the tarot cards one by one. Each revealed cards made her musing louder.
"Hooo... I see, I see."
A look of understanding on her face.
"To think that small child carried such heavy burden with him. Its a miracle that he could even survive it this far. Who would curse such a pure soul that it was strong enough to made the victim rejected from the realm of the dead?"
Ookami Mio, The Wolf God of The Forbidden Bamboo Forest, could only let out a sorrowful sigh as her mind wanders to a certain lost human that she had found inside the forest. The fact that he could even get transported into the bamboo forest, added with his unique smell, Ookami Mio knew that he was not supposed to be a normal existence. But for his soul to be tortured at such degree...
She as an existence called God herself couldn't interfere too much with the normal world, even if she wanted to help him, she doesn't have such power to do so. Changing fate itself was a taboo practice afterall. One wrong turn and the world itself would implode, killing everything in the process.
There were too much risk.
Risk she was too afraid to tie her commitment to.
Well, she couldn't take such a big leap with lifes but she could atleast try to weaken the curse.
"May your path ahead filled with much deserved happiness and may you find your peace atlast, however small they may be."
The bells chimed once, twice, thrice before going silent.

"So you're finally going back?"
"Hnn, I have over welcomed my stay. There are duties I must do regarding The Shirakami Clan. Now that the contract is done, I must report this to the... elders."
"...you don't like them do you? I could tell by your voice"
Kuro sighed, "unfortunately... But I couldn't just kick them out from the clan, even if those bastard deserves it. They keep the clan prosper and stay in line even if you might hate them." She clenched both of her hands as she looked away.
"...Wanna talk more about it?" Ichiei offered.
"Its alright, I could deal with them myself. Once they've already fulfilled their uses they could go to hell for all I care."
"But hey, I appreciate the offer anyway.", a single weak smile on her face.
Ichiei could only stay silent as he watched Kuro's look of defeat.
"Keep the white one safe will ya? I'll keep in touch with you." She waved her hand as she walked away to the main street. "I'll kill you if you don't, she and I are connected in soul afterall."
Ichiei knew that even if Kuro didn't say it, she had already trusted her own life and soul under his care.
"No worries, I'll make sure she is well fed and healthy." He promised, his small whisper carried on the night breeze.
It was silent for a few moment, before Shirakami Fubuki barged open the front door. "Ichiei-san! Tell me how this thing works! It looks fun!", she shouted, which almost woke the neighbours with how loud it was. On her hand was his Nine10Do Switch, gripped by the red handle as she shook it loudly.
"Shhh... get inside, I will show you. We can't have you walking around and shocking other people with that unusual look of yours, Fubuki." Ichiei said as he trotted back inside the house, pulling Fubuki's white oversized hoodie with him.
"Hmm? Hmmm? Hmm!?" Hummed Fubuki cutely as she was dragged inside the house, her expression was that of confusion.
