To SuchABookNerdXD: Qibli is only dead in that one, but that's part of the story for Winter and Moon's relationship. He isn't dead in any of my others stories, or the canon books. Also, in he was killed by Assassin's sent by Vulture, his grandfather.
Snowed In
Kinkajou POV
Kinkajou crept slowly along, knowing that if she was found, the world would literally end. Her target moved away from her bush, picking up a large stone and casting it aside. Kinkajou suppressed a sigh. This was going to take forever. The IceWing turned around, and stared straight at her. "Come one out, Kinkajou." Winter said dryly. Kinkajou stood up, and changed her colors to a neon purple. "Foiled again!" She wailed. Winter rolled his eyes.
"If you want me to help you with your stealth, try not to sound like a snoring polar bear." Winter commented, stretching. "Yeah, yeah." Kinkajou said. "At least I don't smell like a sloth with bad breath." Winter glared at her, and then ducked his head.
"Kinkajou..."
"BOSS! THERE" THAR'S A SNOWSTORM A COMING! WE BEST GET INSIDE!" Winter's MudWing friend River shouted. "Coming!" Kinkajou called. "What were you saying, Winter?" But Winter was already walking back. Kinkajou hurried after him. Wonder what he wanted to tell me? She thought, retracing her steps through the frosty forest.
Two Hours Later...
Winter POV
"Is everyone in?" Winter asked.
"Nat everybody, boss." River said, her brow furrowed. "De 'ittle RainWing you're friends wit is still out der." Winter frowned.
"I'll go get her," Winter decided. "And don't worry," He added hastily, nothing the nervous look on his colleges faces. "I'm an IceWing. I grew up in worse." Everyone nodded, but River still looked unconvinced. "If we're not back in two hours, send a search party if you want." Winter said, opening the door and stepping outside into the storm.
Kinkajou POV
Kinkajou squinted through the blinding snow. Oh why had she stopped to look at that caravan of Scavengers?! Winter must be rubbing off on me if I look at Scavengers before getting to safety! Kinkajou thought. She jumped into the air, trying to get above the storm. A tree trunk suddenly loomed out at her from the hail and wind and Kinkajou crashed down to the earth, unconscious.
Winter POV
"KINKAJOU! " Winter called desperately. "KINKAJOU! WHERE ARE YOU?! KINKAJOU!" He searched about, looking for any trace of the little RainWing. "KINKA- Kinkajou!" Winter saw her nearly frozen little body lying on the ground. Winter raced to her side, and gently brushed to snow off of her. "Kinkajou..." Winter said, gasping at the sight. Her arm was covered in frostbite markings, particularly frozen.
"Winter...? Everything... REALLY hurts." Kinkajou said, her eyes barely open. "OW!"
"I know, hold still, Kinkajou I'm gonna get us out of this." Winter glanced around, searching for any kind of shelter. There. A fallen tree, with just enough space underneath for two dragons. He carefully dragged Kinkajou underneath, and then squished in next to her. Kinkajou whimpered quietly with pain. "I know, Kinkajou." Winter whispered. "I know."
The Next Morning, Who Knows When...
Winter POV
"BOSS! BOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSS!" Winter sat up, bleary eyed. "B! O! S! S! WHERE BE YA?" Winter pushed away the snow that had piled up outside their makeshift shelter. "BOSS! DAT YOU?" River said, picking her head down under the tree. "Boss! I tald ya dat ya would need ol' River's 'help! Ooo, look at a dat arm. She'll need some 'afixing up!" River helped Winter draft Kinkajou out from under the tree. "She'll haf ta loose de arm," River said, wincing at the horrid sight of Kinkajou's bloody, frostbit arm. "But ather den dat, she'll live!" Winter breathed a sigh of relief. River grinned at him. "Sa," The MudWing said with a evil look on her face. "How'd ya 'ittle adventure ga?" Winter rolled his eyes. "River..."
"Fine, fine, I was a just askin'!" River said, lifting Kinkajou up on her back. "An' boss? 'Ittle RainWing's head ovar eals' wit yous." Winter stared at River's retreating form. "Come one, boss! I don't want to ave at rescue yous again." Winter nodded, a grin slowly creeping over his face.

I knoow I used River again, but she so fun to write! And you gotta admit, she's a pertty good character! Also, I think the fact that Kinkajou's lost an arm is a important part of the story! So don't eat me!
