"Hello my child," Hera greeted.

"W-what are you doing here mom?" I said confused.

"Well, Eliza told me that you refused to let him accompany you on your quest."

I gulped, I did not like getting on the bad side of my mother. "I, I wanted him to watch over Coral."

"I don't blame you, its good to look after family."

"Then what are you doing here? I thought that gods aren't supposed to interfere with quests?"

"We aren't but I also wasn't supposed to have any children," Hera said raising her eyebrows.

"Um, excuse me lady Hera," Calypso said stepping forward.

"Ahh, young Calypso," Hera said gently.

"So what are you doing here in Ethiopia Lady Hera?" Calypso asked.

"Well, I heard you had a little, ah, run in with Nemesis. I came here to warn you that Nemesis is relentless and will not stop until she has gotten justice," Hera then turned to me, "you made a risky decision slapping the king like that, one that I do not disprove of, but one that might just see your end. That is all, I wish you luck on your quest."

And with that Hera disappeared into mist. I turned around and stared at the Stoll's, Jamie and Calypso. "I am so sorry, I-," Jamie cut me off.

"Hey it's not your fault, you had just gotten mad and we all know too well that you powers go haywire when your mad," Jamie said trying to make me feel better.

"Yeah Zeus smacked your mother, if someone had smacked my mother I'd slap them too," Connor said.

I gave a small laugh. "See there's nothing to be sorry about Trish," Jamie said, "some of us probably would have done the same thing. I mean not if it was our godly parent of course but you're closer to you mother than most demigods are."

"I mean, I'm not a demigod so I can't exactly relate but yeah," I laughed, which also made the others laugh as well.

"Well, we might want to go to bed soon, we have a big day ahead of us," Calypso said.

"Yeah, leave it up to Calypso to be the party pooper," Travis said rolling his eyes.

"I mean she is technically the oldest," I said.

Calypso just stuck her tongue out at us and walked into the bathroom with a fresh change of clothes.

Since we only had two beds Travis and Connor took one, Calypso and I took the other, and Jamie offered to take the floor. I ended up staying up later than everyone else listening to the traffic outside and the airplanes going by. Soon though I fell asleep just for my sleep to get intruded by dreams.

I dreamt I was back in that room deep underground to where Nemesis had taken us. "You have escaped me once, but never again," I heard Nemesis snarl. Even though I couldn't see her, I could still sense her presence. Just then a huge hellhound came bounding towards me and just as it was about to pounce I sat straight up in my bed, covered in sweat.

I looked at the clock that had been provided in the hotel room. It read 2:38. "Augh!" I said slamming my head up against my pillow.

Just then the bathroom door opens and out walks Calypso. "Hey, you have a dream?"

"I- Yeah, I have never had dreams, until Nemesis, and now I'm afraid to sleep. I don't know how you guys can manage."

She just shrugged her shoulders, "Some of us can't, while some of us just learn to get over it."

I sat back up, "Calypso, why does it seem like you don't like me?"

"It, it's not like I don't like you, but, um, I'm the only one w-who knows what your fully capable of. I'm the only one who knows what your curse really is," she said quietly.

"Oh," I said now very interesting on my blanket, "I suppose you won't tell me what it is?"

"I'm afraid I can't, once I had found out, Hera came to visit me, and I tried to tell her, but she told me that I had to keep it to myself and that I should tell no one about it."

I looked over to where the Stoll's were sleeping and then over at Jamie. I let out a sigh, "Well, we should probably get back to sleep."

Soon after Calypso was fast asleep. I don't know how long I was up after that but all I know is that the sun was rising before I was able to sleep again.
