"Ready little one?" Ros asked looking down to Lily-Rose. They had a busy morning where Ros showed Lily-Rose the top floor of the building and all the sites from every corner. As simple as it seemed, Lily-Rose loved it! She loved being so high up! She thought she was on top of the world.
"Weady Wos." She confirmed with a giggle.
"Then let's do this." She winked at her before the two happily strolled into Taylor's office. "Hello big man." She greeted Taylor.
Looking up, Taylor smiled to them both. "Hello. What can I do for you two?" He then asked looking between the two of them.
"Taylors look what Wos gave me to play with!" Lily-Rose beamed holding up a pair of binoculars.
"Wow they look cool. Have you seen anything interesting?"
"I twied but everything is blurry." She told him with a frown before giving them to Taylor. "Sees!"
Taking the binoculars Taylor then moved them up to his eyes and looked through. "Oh I see. You just need them to be put into focus a little." He told her as he fiddled with the lenses. "There." He smiled as he took them off and passed them back to Lily-Rose. "They should be fine now."
Lily-Rose took them back, looking to Taylor she fell into a fit of giggles while Ros was trying her hardest not to laugh. "Thank you Taylors!" Lily-Rose giggled before she grabbed Ros's hand and pulled her out of Taylor's office.
Taylor watched them go absolutely bemused, unaware that he was currently sporting two black circle rings around his eyes from the binoculars where Ros and Lily-Ros had coloured them with black pen.
Ros laughed down to Lily-Rose. "You are awesome kiddo! Shall we see what other pranks we can get up to?" She asked looking down to her.
Lily-Rose looked to her. "Can we haves snacks first? My tummy is very hungry." She pouted a little rubbing her tummy.
Ros smiled. "Sure we can. What is your favourite snack?" She asked as they headed back to her office.
"Urm I likes cheese and grapes and cawwot sticks and chocolate and cookies and candy." She happily told her.
Ros frowned. "I better check with your dad what I can give you. I don't want to be in trouble for giving you a major sugar rush."
"What does that mean?" Lily-Rose asked with a frown.
"Well if I gave you lots of sugar you would be very, very hyper."
"Ohs."
Ros smiled as they went into the office. "Make yourself at home kiddo while I call your dad." She told her gesturing to the sofa while she pulled out her phone and dialled Christian's number.
Running over to the sofa, Lily-Rose climbed on, grabbing her unicorn teddy which she had left in Ros's office and hugged it to her and smiled to herself while putting the binoculars down beside her.
Ros smiled as she waited for Christian to answer.
"Ros, is Lily-Rose okay?" Came his immediate response when he answered.
Ros rolled her eyes. "Chill boss man, she's fine but she's hungry. What can I give her? She's asking for snacks."
"Call down to the cafeteria and ask them to prepare a healthy child's platter and send it up to you. She's not fussy with food but loves cheese."
"Any treats?" Ros asked.
"No she can have a treat after she's had her lunch later on."
"Awe man, dude what if she gives me those eyes?" She whispered into the phone. "She's already told me she like chocolate, cookies and candy. I'll cave if she gives me the puppy dog eyes and a pout!"
Christian burst out laughing. "Don't fall for the eyes or the pout! If she asks for something sweet just tell her I said she had to wait until after her lunch."
"If she cries I'm bringing her straight back to you." Ros declared with a pout before she looked over to Lily-Rose. "Is she allowed to go to sleep? Because looking at her now she's about to be gone in seconds…"
"Bring her back to my office. I'll ring down to the cafeteria, I don't her to sleep if she's hungry."
"You got it boss." Hanging up the phone she then headed over to the sofa and smiled down to a tired Lily-Rose. "You tired kiddo?" She asked as she then scooped her up.
"Yes. All that's pranks on Taylors wored me out."
Ros couldn't help but laugh. "It was a hard prank to pull off and you did it marvellously." She praised with a smile. "I'm going to take you back to your dad's office so you can have a little nap and then when you wake up we can get up to more fun stuff."
Resting her head on Ros's shoulder, Lily-Rose clung onto her unicorn and let a smile rest on her lips. "You's the funnest Wos."
Ros couldn't help but smile. "You are too kiddo. I hope you come to work with your dad a lot."
"Me's too." She whispered.
Ros smiled as she headed to Christian's office, stepping in she smiled. "Hey big man. I think you have a tired one here." She mused before she stopped in her tracks seeing a gorgeous brunette in Christian's embrace. "Well hello there…" She mused smirking. "You must be momma."
Ana smiled as she moved away from Christian and nodded. "That I am. I'm Ana." Ana introduced with a smile as she held out her hand to Ros.
Ros smiled as she used her free hand to shake Ana's hand. "Nice to meet you, I'm Ros." She looked down to Lily-Rose who was out like a light and smiled. "I believe this little cutie is yours."
Ana smiled as she gently took her from Ros and cradled her close and kissed her head. "That she is. I hope she behaved for you."
"Of course." Ros smiled. "What brings you here?" She asked as she watched Ana move over to the sofa and gently put Lily-Rose down.
"I'm actually only stopping for a few minutes. I have to pop to my parents place to sort out some business things and I wanted to make sure this one was behaving."
"Your parents live here in Seattle?"
Ana nodded. "Yeah they moved back the same time Lily-Rose and I did." She looked to Ros and smiled. "Long story." She chuckled and kissed her daughter's head before she looked to Christian. "I'll see you guys back at home?"
Christian smiled and nodded. "I'll let you know when we are leaving." He promised her.
Ana smiled as she moved over to him and stole a kiss off him before she grabbed her bag and smiled to Ros. "Nice to meet you." She told her before she left Christian's office.
Christian watched her go before he then smiled to Ros. "So she wasn't no bother?"
"She was a little angel. I showed her the entire top floor and all the different views. Simple but she loved it."
Christian smiled down to Lily-Rose before looking up as there was a knock on the door. As Taylor came in with a plate of snacks for Lily-Rose he then frowned looking at Taylor. "Taylor what happened to your face?" He asked.
Ros bit her lip trying not to laugh.
Taylor's eyes zoned in on Ros as he scowled at her before looking back to Christian. "Let's just say after a visit off Ros and Miss Lily-Rose this is what happened." He grumbled as he passed the plate to Christian. "And it won't come off." He huffed.
Christian looked to Ros. "Ros what have you been teaching my daughter?" He asked with a raised eyebrow as he put the plate down on his desk.
"Oh give over! It was a harmless prank!" Ros laughed before shrugging. "It'll come off eventually big man. Don't get your knickers in a twist." She mused with a smirk before looking to Christian. "Give me a call when little miss wakes up. I'm sure there are plenty of other things we could get up to." She winked at Taylor before exited Christian's office.
Christian shook his head as he watched Ros go before he then looked to Taylor. "I'm sure if you text Gail she'll be able to provide you with an easy solution to get rid of that."
Taylor gave a nod. "Will do." He glanced to Lily-Rose. "Even asleep she's too cute to be angry at." He grumbled as he left the office.
Christian chuckled as he watched him go before he went over to his daughter and smiled to himself as he bent down beside her and moved some hair out of her face.
Getting up he then headed over to his desk and sat down and got on with some work before his next meeting, glancing over to Lily-Rose now and again to make sure she was okay.
A yawn passing her lips an hour later, Lily-Rose's eyes fluttered open as she stretched out before she smiled as she saw her daddy coming over to her.
"Hey baby."
"Hello daddy."
"Did you have a good sleep?"
"Yes daddy."
"Are you hungry?"
Lily-Rose nodded as she sat up. "We's must talk about mommy's birthday."
Christian chuckled. "We will after you have something to eat. Taylor bought you something to eat a while ago."
Lily-Rose looked to him. "Taylors?"
Christian nodded. "Yes." He looked to her. "Did you and Ros have a little fun?"
"A littles." Lily-Rose giggled.
Christian couldn't help but smile. She was too cute. But he had to let her know that Taylor wasn't happy either. "He is a little upset. You must say sorry to him when you see him next."
Lily-Rose's bottom lip trembled. "It was supposed to make him laugh." She mumbled looking down.
"Oh baby. Come here." He whispered as he held out his hands. As she climbed onto him he kissed her head and held her close to him. "It's okay, you don't need to be sad. Taylor wasn't cross with you. He just can't get the pen off right now."
"I'm sowwies." She whispered hiding her face in his neck.
"It's okay." He whispered to her as he rubbed her back. "How about you have something to eat?"
"Otays." She mumbled still clinging onto Christian tightly.
Getting up, holding onto her tightly he headed over to his desk. Sitting her down on his chair he then went over to his mini fridge where he had kept her snacks. Grabbing the plate he then moved it down onto the desk before he lifted Lily-Rose up and sat on his chair bringing her back down to sit on his lap. Sliding closer to the desk he took the clingfilm off the plate and smiled. "Look. Your favourites."
"Cheese!" She squealed clapping her hands before she smiled and picked up a chunk and happily ate it. "So yummies daddy." She beamed before grabbing another chunk and offering it to Christian.
"Thank you baby." He smiled as he took the cheese off her and ate it. "Now what shall we get mommy for her birthday?"
"Where did you and mommy meet?" Lily-Rose asked him.
"We met in New York." He told her with a smile. "Mommy and I were stuck in the airport because there was a big blizzard and we couldn't get home."
"Sounds like a fairy tale!" Lily-Rose cooed looking up to as she munched away on a carrot stick. "Hows about you get mommy a picture of New York?" She looked to him. "A minder of hows you two met."
Christian looked to her and smiled. She was a little brainbox and didn't know it. "I love that idea." He told her with a smile.
"Cans we also get mommy a bracelet?" She asked looking to him.
"A bracelet?"
Lily-Rose nodded. "Yeah. A charm one and we cans buy her charms to put on it and then it'll be pretty and sparkly!" She grinned to him as she took another bite out of her carrot.
Christian smiled. "I love that idea baby. I'll get it sorted." He promised as he kissed her head. "What about a cake?"
"I love cake!"
Christian laughed. "What cake does mommy love?"
"Chocolate! Auntie Kate makes the best chocolate cakes."
"Shall we ask Auntie Kate to make us one for mommy?"
Lily-Rose nodded. "Yes. She knows exactly what mommy likes." She beamed to him as she then picked up some apple and ate it. As she finished off her plate she sighed happily. "Thank you daddy. That was the bestest snack evers."
Christian smiled and kissed her head. "You're welcome princess. What shall we do now?" He asked looking to her.
"Wos wanted to do more pranks. But I don't wants anyone else to be sad." She pouted a little.
"Hey how about I asked Andrea to go and get us one of those giant cookies? Then you can go and give it to Taylor to say sorry?"
"How comes we don't goes and get it?" She asked with a frown.
"Because if we leave the building Taylor has to go with us and if he finds out where we are going it won't be a surprise."
"Ohs! Otays! Tells Andwea to goes now." She told him with a nod.
Christian chuckled as he asked for Andrea to come in over the intercom. Lily-Rose was a little CEO in the making. He could see it already.
"Daddy! This is so cool!" She squealed with a giggle before she looked up as Andrea came in. "She's there!" She giggled.
Christian laughed before he smiled to Andrea. "Andrea would you be so kind and run down to the bakery and grab a giant cookie for Taylor. Lily-Rose wants to say sorry for the pen around the eye incident."
"Of course sir." Andrea smiled.
"Andwea can they writes on it, Sowwi Taylors. Loves you, love Lily-Rose with three kisses." She beamed holding up three fingers.
Andrea laughed. "I'll see what I can do. Would you like anything else from the bakery?"
Christian thought for a minute before looking back to Andrea. "A pack of mixed cookies please." He told her as he took some money out of his wallet and handed it to her.
"Consider it done. I'll back soon." She smiled and left the room.
As Andrea left, Lily-Rose then looked to her father and smiled. "When can we goes shopping for mommy's birthday?" She asked looking to him.
"How about we go on the weekend?" He suggested to her. "Mommy might be busy for a few days so while she's busy we can sneak out and go shopping for her?"
Lily-Rose nodded and smiled. "Otays daddy."
Christian smiled down to her before he then looked up as the door knocked and in came Elliot.
"Uncle Lelliot!" Lily-Rose grinned as she jumped down from her father's lap and ran over to him.
Scooping her up, Elliot smiled and kissed her head. "Hey munchkin. You okay?"
"I'm otays. Me and daddy have been planning mommy's birthday!"
"It's mommy's birthday?" He asked with a frown.
"Nots yet. But soon."
Elliot nodded before looking to Christian. "Hey what happened to Taylor? I saw him on my way in and he looked…interesting."
"That would be curtesy of little miss in your arms."
Elliot raised an eyebrow and looked to his niece. "What have you been up to missy?"
Lily-Rose pouted. "I didn't means to upset Taylors." She mumbled to him. "But nows we are buying a huge cookie to say sorry." She smiled to him. "Andwea has gone to get it."
"Ah I was wondering where she was." He mused before he then looked to Lily-Rose. "So what else have you been up to?"
"Sweeping."
Elliot looked to Christian. "Getting her to start work early?" He asked mortified.
Christian rolled his eyes. "She means sleeping."
Lily-Rose frowned. "That's what I said!" She huffed folding her little arms across her chest.
Elliot chuckled. "Calm down little one." He smiled before looking to Christian. "Look the reason I stopped by is that me and Kate have settled into my place and we were wondering if you three wanted to come over for dinner?"
Christian smiled. "Sure. I want to show Ana and Lily-Rose something anyway so we could come over after? Is that okay?"
"Sure it is." Elliot smiled to him before looking to Lily-Rose. "Auntie Kate has made cookies for later."
"Cookies!" Lily-Rose grinned and clapped her hands. "My favourite!"
"Every food is your favourite." Christian rolled his eyes before looking up as Andrea knocked and came in with a bag and a box which he knew the cookie was in. "That was quick."
"The bakery was surprisingly empty. One giant cookie with Miss Lily-Rose's request written on with icing and the cookies you requested sir."
"Thank you Andrea." He smiled taking the bag from her.
Andrea nodded and left the room.
Opening the bag, Christian pulled out the cookie for Taylor and smiled. It looked delicious.
"Let me sees!" Wriggling out of her uncles arms she ran over and climbed onto Christian's chair before looking down to the cookie, her eyes going wide. "Wows. That looks yummy."
Christian chuckled. "It does."
Elliot smirked and shook his head. "While you two drool over the cookie I'm going to head out. I'll catch you guys later. Bye squirt."
"Byes Uncle Lelliot!" Lily-Rose chimed not taking her eyes off the cookie.
"I'll let you know when we are on the way over." Christian told him with a soft smile.
"No worries bro. Catch you later!" He chimed leaving the office.
Watching his brother go, Christian then looked down to Lily-Rose. "Shall we go and take this to Taylor?" He asked her with a smile.
Lily-Rose smiled and nodded. "Yes. It'll makes him very happy."
Helping Lily-Rose down he then picked up the box and gently passed it to her. "Now hold this very tightly. You don't want to drop it."
"Yes daddy." She replied with a smile up to him as she clutched the box tightly with her little hands.
Christian smiled proudly down to his daughter before he then lead her out his office and down to the corridor where Taylor worked. Knocking on the door he then gave a little nod to Lily-Rose and pushed the door open.
Lily-Rose looked to her father before she gave herself a nod and toddled into office. "Taylors?" She called out moving in more, clutching onto the box tightly.
Popping his head up from the computer screen, Taylor looked to Lily-Rose and raised an eyebrow. "Yes Miss Lily-Rose?"
Moving closer to his desk she then held out the box, her bottom lip going out as she looked up to him with those puppy dog eyes. "I'm sowwi Taylors." She apologised looking to him. "I wanted to makes you laugh not sad." She shuffled closer to him. "I boughted this for you to make you happy again." She then told him with a grin.
Taylor couldn't help but melt as he looked to three year old. How could he stay mad at her? Shaking his head he took the box and looked inside and smiled. "Thank you Miss Lily-Rose. This looks yummy." He smiled to her before putting the box on his desk and opening his arms for her.
Lily-Rose grinned as she moved into Taylor's arms and hugged him tightly. "Wuvs you Taylors." She whispered.
Taylor smiled as he held her tightly to him. "I love you too little one. Thank you for my cookie."
Christian smiled to himself as he watched the two of them. Lily-Rose was too adorable for words. She was so cute. He couldn't help be proud. Standing by the doorway he smiled and happily watched on. Lily-Rose had a beautiful relationship with everyone she came into contact with. As his phone went off in his pocket he pulled it out before he answered it. "Hey Luke what's up?" He asked casually.
"Fucker has been spotted." Came Luke's reply.
Christian raised an eyebrow before he moved into the corridor not wanting Lily-Rose to overhear. "Where?"
"Just outside of Seattle. Buddy of mine spotted him and has been following him since for me. Fucker think he's coming anywhere near Ana or Lily-Rose then he got another thing coming." He grumbled. "Reckon I could borrow Taylor so he can help me beat the crap out of him."
Christian couldn't help but smirk. "Consider it done. Ana, Lily-Rose and I will be going to Elliot's for dinner tonight. Take him with you."
"Don't mention it to Ana."
Christian frowned. "What? Why?"
"Because she will just want to hand him to the police! And believe me he will end up in jail…but I'd rather kick the crap out of him first."
"And risk going to prison yourself?"
"Self-defence." He replied with a smirk.
"Of course." Christian shook his head. "Okay when we get to Elliot's he's all yours. I'll let him know when Lily-Rose is out of earshot."
"Okay man. Text me later."
"Will do." Hanging up the phone he then slipped it back into his pocket before he then headed back into Taylor's office, a smile on his lips as he saw his daughter now sat on Taylor's lap as he showed her what he was doing on the computers.
"Looks! It's Wos!" She smiled pointing to one of the cameras. "Daddy she's going to your office." She told him.
"She is? I better go see what she's wants. Are you going to stay here with Taylor?"
Lily-Rose nodded. "He's showing me all the cool things." She happily told him before looking to Taylor. "Wight Taylors?"
"Right Miss Lily-Rose."
Christian smiled. "I'll be back in a bit." He told them before he then headed back to his office.
Lily-Rose waved to her dad before she smiled and turned back to what Taylor was showing her. on the screens. She found it fascinating. She had really loved coming to work with her dad today and she couldn't wait to come again! She was having so much fun! She was defiantly up for coming to Grey house again!
