Sometimes, Reborn double books things just to test himself.

It is, maybe, getting a bit ridiculous.

The Don and his right-hand woman leave the office still discussing, swiftly replaced by an efficient cleaner, who immediately starts her work.

Reborn drops down out of a vent, lands on the woman, grabs her by the hair and drags her across the room. She is rather unfortunately the kind of person who doesn't scream and instead goes quiet when in distress so he pistol-whips her and she starts screaming.

Reborn leaves her on the ground clutching her head and takes up position behind the door, right in time for the Don and right-hand to rush back in. Reborn shoot both through the back of their heads, kills the maid and leaves the room, darting across the hallway and into the opposite sitting room where he vaults out of the first storey window.

He slips into the sprawling maze of hedges and roses that take over the inner courtyard of the famiglia's manor and pops out the other side, shooting the driver on smoke break and kicking aside the corpse so he can get the door open to the sleek SUV with the tinted windows.

He holsters his gun and drives out of the gated manor.

It takes him twenty minutes to pull up to the next famiglia and the line of sleek black cars that are identical to Reborn's own.

He beeps loudly and insistently enough and the car just in front pulls out. He parallel parks in time for the politician to come out.

They all drive off in a convoy with motorbikes at each side. As they get closer to the bridge, Reborn fumbles around in the dashboard compartment and grabs a torch. He awkwardly fiddles until it's lodged the accelerator down and opens the door, jerking the wheel to the side as he jumps out.

The car goes over the bridge and the other vehicles comes to a screeching stop.

Reborn hits the ground rolling and then keeps rolling to the edge of the bridge and over, grabs the edge, swinging himself down onto a support strut as the overboard car smashes front first onto the ground below and crumples like an accordion.

While they pile out of their cars and lean over the bridge, both to try and check on the very much dead people in the crashed car as well as find the chauffer that bailed out, Reborn leaps across the uniform support struts and strides his way to the other side before jumping back up onto the bridge.

Since everyone is against the rail on the other side, Reborn very easily steals an abandoned motorbike and guns it down the road, ducking when they shoot at him and quickly leaving it all behind.

He enjoys the rush of wind until he pulls up to a seedy motel where he dumps the bike, strides around the back of the building and grabs the man where he's lazing in a chair near the pool.

He freaks out as Reborn marches him over and shoves him into the pool where the man starts flailing immediately. Reborn heads into the building, swiping a skeleton key from the empty front desk, and makes his way to the second floor.

He opens the door and kills the woman before she can get halfway out of her chair. She flops forward onto the half-assembled handgun. Reborn swaps the hotel's master key for the Mercedes she has but pauses.

He kneels beside the bed and checks under it, going through the three large briefcases to take a quick peek. Reborn takes the second suitcase and leaves through the backdoor, passing the horrified crowd as a good samaritan drags a drowned body from the pool.

Reborn drives his newest vehicle to the train station, goes three stops, and dumps his gloves on the way up to the surface level. He quickly looks both ways before he crosses the road and pushes open the glass door to the ice cream parlour.

"You're late," Colonnello tsks.

Reborn dumps the briefcase on the table. "Congratulations on the medal, Lal. Don't open it in public."

Reborn then sits on Verde and steals Skull's ice cream.
