BNHA
Aizawa Shota snapped his eyes open at the first explosion. Then closed them again at the subsequent firecracker snap shots that continued to echo. Just Bakugou, he thought.
The next second he was out of bed, capture weapon in hand and slamming his door open. All of the home teachers at UEA had a set of apartments attached to their respective dorms to give them access in case of emergency. This would only be the second time Aizawa had ever felt the need to use that emergency entrance. Both times involved a certain explosive blond. He wasn't surprised.
Another explosion rocked the building, waking everyone even the heaviest sleepers of class 1-A. Feet were already pounding their way down the stairs.
Shota almost runs into Kaminari and Ida as he enters the kitchen, shoving the two shouting teens behind him. Ready to release all hell on any villain that decided to attack his students at half-past-bloody-one in the morning. On a school night!
Instead of the expected villain attack he's met with the sight of an enraged and savage Bakugou Katsuki fighting his best friend Kirishima Eijiro. The sight is so unexpected that Shota finds himself scanning for hidden enemies for a few more seconds until the reality finally sinks in.
With the slow building wrath of a decaffeinated teacher brought into his teenage students hormonal drama Shota steps forward, capture weapon starting to float eerily around his face. The two boys don't seem to notice. Kirishima too busy blinking away the light and smoke of explosions and Bakugou too busy cursing.
"The fuck are you! The fuck is Kirishima?! Die!"
Bakugou laid forth a rapid fire set of explosions, using them to launch himself across the room. Kirishima defended himself with a hardened forearm, catching the blows but having no room to launch his own attack. Bakugou continued to hound him, carmine eyes deranged, teeth bared and screaming.
Kirishima vaulted over the sofa, flipping it in his friends way and forcing Bakugou to either explode it or back off. Predictably, Bakugou did the former, sending up a spray of sawdust and stuffing into the air. The smell of burnt fabric filling the room.
Kirishima seized the opportunity, retreating to circle around his opponent, stopping himself from being pushed into a corner. At any other time Shota might be inclined to praise the boys quick thinking in utilizing the furnishings. As it was, not only was the redhead going to be paying for a new sofa, Shota was going to ground his ass with the mother of all math homeworks. A five page spread of problems calculating the cost of property damage incurred during hero rescues should do it.
"Duh! E' nehhh!" Kirishima shouted through the smoke. Eyes wide and imploring as Bakugou turned to snarl at him.
His plea had little effect, garbled as it was around the bloody bone in firmly lodged in his mouth. Red lines dribbled down his chin.
Eyes flaring, Shota cut both boys quirks in an instant, halving the noise level as a bonus. He wrapped the two in his capture weapon, being sure to double wrap the struggling Bakugou.
"Enough!" he shouted, mouth dry from recent sleep. "Bakugou, calm down."
Bakugou's cursing trailed off into growling, arms slowly lowering though sweat still dripped threateningly from his fingers. At that moment the other students of 1-A took notice of Kirishima's newest accessory.
"Dude! Is that a bone!?" scream Kaminari.
"Blood! There's blood!" wailed Mineta.
A heavy anticipation filled the air as twenty hero hopefully assumed battle positions.
"Eh ahh iecain!" shouted Kirishima around the bone, hands bound to his side. His red eyes turned beseechingly to his teacher. "Eh oc eiocaha! E neh!"
"Where's Kirishima?" snapped Ashido, sounding about as feral as Bakugou did on a normal day. There was a sizzle as acid started dripping to the floor. Yellow and green lightening sparked around Kaminari and Midoriya. Yaoyorozu unbutton the top of her pajama top. The temperature dropped slightly as Todoroki stepped his right side forward.
Shota held up a hand, stalling the advancing menace that is his students. "I'm going to release you. Bakugou, don't move. Kirishima," Shota gives an extra menacing glare, quirk entirely focused on the redhead.
Kirishima continued to stand before him, hair down, distress written in every line of his face. The only thing out of place the bone in his fangs. Not a shifting quirk then. "Take the bone out of your mouth. Slowly."
Kirishima nodded frantically, reaching up the moment his hands were unbound to tear the bone from his mouth, causing a further splash of blood. He waved the offending femur in the air. A single bloody tooth was embedded in it, root and all.
"Ow, damn. That hurt. Its me! Kirishima! I'm not an impostor!" he cried, tonguing the new gap in his bloody teeth. "Please don't kill me. I can explain!"
The boy was near tears. Bakugou growled, taking one menacing step forward, but Shota shot him a glare that could curl paint and the boy had the sense to stop. Character growth, it was a wonderful thing.
Shota pinched the bridge of his nose. Tired gaze taking in one distressed student, one feral explosion boy, a destroyed sofa, shattered kitchen counter and 18 other tense hero hopefuls looking to him to sort it out.
He palmed his communicator, calling off the other teachers. "Alright, start explaining."
